Hello! This was commissioned by lilkitten! Thank you again for letting me write something, darling. You are so fun and creative. They got inspired by the gif of Yoongi and the rest of the boys toasting their drinks and he looks like a baby doll uwu. The next chapter will be up by tomorrow so I hope you enjoy! Also, there's not a big age difference, I just made Yoomfi the youngest of the group :3

Chapter Text

Nobody said this job was easy. Many people don’t know that this is still a job. But if you know where to look you can find them. Jungkook is sort of indifferent when it comes to his work. Being a hitman and being part of the most ruthless and feared mafia group in the entire country doesn’t really mean anything to him. He doesn’t care for the reputation or the achievements their group is recognized for in the underworld. He doesn’t care for any of that stuff. He only cares about one thing and one thing alone.

Yoongi has been his partner for the past five years. He was ordered to kill a CEO of a company that would steal the second sons of families with royal blood in their lineage. Before the man could drag Yoongi away Jungkook shot him and the second he locked eyes with Yoongi, the rest was history. Yoongi himself isn’t part of the group, Jungkook knows that even being associated with the mafia could get you killed so he lied and told Yoongi he was a cop for the first year they were together.

But then Jin, the right-hand man of the group leader, Namjoon, ruined it one day. Yoongi hadn’t cared, he had already fallen in love with Jungkook and wouldn’t leave him even if you threatened him. And there weren’t any real problems when he found out either. He would occasionally come along with Jungkook to meetings and would sit next to him, staring down at his lap and holding onto Jungkook’s hand.

But slowly, everyone started to idle over Yoongi. Jimin started it. During a break from a long meeting, he had snuck his way from across the table and pushed Taehyung off of his chair. He called him cute and complimented his sweater and Yoongi could only nod before Jungkook was switching seats with him, picking him up and putting him to his right. But that didn’t help since Hoseok was to his right and he did the exact same thing.

The next meeting Taehyung had greeted them at the door and had grabbed Yoongi’s hand and kissed the back of it. Yoongi couldn’t help but blush before Jungkook smacked Taehyung’s hand away from him. Seokjin had walked over and lead Yoongi to his seat as Jungkook was distracted and sat next to him. Namjoon had taken the seat next to Yoongi and the two complimented him and told him how adorable he was.

After that Jungkook decided to stop bringing Yoongi to any meetings. He knew the younger didn’t mind it, in fact, he loved the attention. But after each incident, Yoongi would kiss Jungkook’s nose and tell him he only loved him and had eyes for him. It didn’t particularly bother him. He knows his partner is adorable, cute, and funny, it’s not his fault he was able to ask him out first.

Jungkook checks his phone as he gets into the car. They have a meeting today and he was going to tell Yoongi about it. But when he sees the messages on his phone he instantly calls him.

“Hi!” Yoongi sounds extremely cheerful.

“Did I read those messages right or are you playing a joke?” Jungkook tries not to sound angry but he thinks he fails when he hears Yoongi gasp.

“Um. No. Hoseok was near my school so he told me he’d give me a ride to the meeting today. I know you didn’t want me to go anymore but they ordered food and since it’s Friday they even have champaign! You know I can’t say no to free food and alcohol.”

Jungkook sighs, “I know, baby. But you could’ve waited for me. I could’ve taken you with me.”

“I know, but he was already here. I also felt bad if I said no. Plus I knew you would be coming anyway so I thought it was fine.”

“It’s fine. It is. Just,” Jungkook turns on the car, “Just don’t sit down yet. Wait until I get there.”

“Where are you?”

“I’m on my way.”

“Okay. I’ll wait for you.”

“Okay, baby. See you soon. I love you.”

Yoongi gasps, “Don’t say that when you’re so far away, Jungkookie. I already miss you.”

Jungkook hears Hoseok groan, “God, don’t be a couple on my watch, I don’t want to hear it.”

“Then don’t pick him up next time,” Jungkook says, hoping Hoseok hears.

“No promises,” Hoseok practically sings.

Jungkook huffs before Yoongi whispers, “I love you more, please get here quickly.”

“I’ll try,” Jungkook hangs up and pulls out of the building, making his way to the freeway.

He should’ve taken back streets. The meeting started at 7, and he’s pulling up to the building at 8:30. He hears the tires screech as he pulls into his parking space, quickly turning off the car and running down the four flights of stairs into the underground building. When he pulls open the door he hears the door handle creak. They were toasting, lifting their glasses into the sky and Taehyung has Yoongi pulled into his side. Yoongi has a slight flush to his face, indicating that he’s already had a couple of glasses. He brings his cup down and takes sips of it, the opposite of Jimin.

Jungkook shuts the door, the slam of it echoing throughout the room. Namjoon looks first before waving him over like he needed an invitation. Jungkook stalks over to the only empty seat causing Yoongi to look up. He smiles at him before waving at him with his free hand. Jungkook raises en eyebrow at him. He jerks his head to the side and Yoongi sets his glass down, getting up and heading over to Jungkook as Taehyung complains. Jungkook just pats his lap and Yoongi quietly sits, leaning most of his body on Jungkook.

Namjoon gives Jungkook his meal as well as a glass that Yoongi instantly grabs. Jungkook takes it away from him, passing it to Hoseok, who already has his head down, nursing a piece of bread.

“How many have you had?” Jungkook asks, giving Yoongi’s side a squeeze.

Yoongi jolts, his head swaying more than usual, “Just two,” He hiccups before he giggles and Jungkook feels his anger build up.

The meeting continues and every time Taehyung winks at Yoongi, Yoongi giggles, chuckles, or laughs as he leans his head against Jungkook, playing with his own sweater sleeves. Luckily there were only 30 minutes left before they can leave and Jungkook can take Yoongi home and possibly lock him up so no one can even look at him anymore.

As Namjoon wraps up the meeting Jungkook gets Yoongi to his feet, trying to lead him to the door. But Yoongi pulls Jungkook back and walks to the other side of the table, where Taehyung and Jimin were sitting. Taehyung instantly pulls him toward them, putting an arm around him. And Jungkook feels his eye twitch as he watches Yoongi practically melt into his embrace.

“You shouldn’t leave so soon, Yoongi. We could still go out somewhere,” Taehyung says, giving him a smile.

Yoongi laughs, shaking his head, “I don’t know. We already had plenty to eat and drink here.”

“Nonsense!” Jimin says, “You didn’t have nearly enough. You want another glass?” He holds up a glass full of champaign and Yoongi’s eyes shine reaching out for it.

Yoongi takes it and sips. Jungkook scoffs causing the trio to look up.

“You can sit too, Jungkook,” Taehyung says, waving a hand toward the other side of the table.

Jungkook raises an eyebrow at him, “I don’t have too. We are leaving, let’s go Yoongi.”

And Jungkook’s eyes open wide in shock when Yoongi turns and just blinks at him, “I don’t want to go. This is fun and home is boring.”

“You heard the baby,” Jimin says, “So sit.”

“Baby? He’s my baby,” Jungkook says almost through teeth clenched, “You don’t get to call him that.”

“Calm down, Jungkook,” Jin says, “We’ve been calling him that the entire meeting, at least before you arrived. You can’t blame us, Yoongi’s a total sweetheart.”

“The entire meeting? Why would you even call him that?”

“He likes it. He blushes and becomes even cuter,” Namjoon says, and just for emphasis Taehyung pinches one of Yoongi’s cheeks, causing Yoongi to giggle.

Jungkook glares at them. He can’t believe Yoongi is just letting them do what they wanted. He was scared shitless of all of them a couple of years ago, why is he acting so different now. He wants to blame the alcohol but the longer he’s standing there, glaring, he thinks it might not be. Yoongi hasn’t looked at him, he’s just leaning against Taehyung, laughing and taking another glass from Jimin.

He doesn’t think as he walks over to Yoongi, yanking the glass out of his hand and placing it on the table. He grabs his wrist and pulls him out of the chair and out the doors. He hears the rest of the boys' protests and even Yoongi is trying to pry his hand off his wrist. But Yoongi is intoxicated and Jungkook just holds on tighter, forgetting that he could be potentially hurting Yoongi. He climbs up the four flights of stairs, Yoongi losing balance and tripping over every step. Jungkook unlocks the car and puts Yoongi in the back seat, putting on his seatbelt, locking him in place.

“We were having fun, Jungkook, why did you take me away?” Yoongi’s speech is slurred and Jungkook only shuts the door before going to the driver’s seat.

The ride home is exhausting. Jungkook’s mind is reeling and Yoongi won’t stop talking. He keeps asking the same question and keeps saying the guys’ names, calling out for each of them to give him more drinks or food. When they arrive home, Jungkook drags a half-asleep Yoongi to their bed, changing him into his sleepwear and closing the door.

He drags his hands down his face. What if when Yoongi wakes up he’s going to be mad? What if he breaks up with him? And even worse yet, what if he leaves him for one of the guys? It’s obvious he liked them and they like him. Jungkook’s heartaches as he keeps thinking and decides he doesn’t want to be here anymore. Not when Yoongi could leave him and never come back. He goes back to the building and finds Namjoon working, creating files and assigning targets.

“You don’t look so good,” Namjoon says without turning from his chair, “Did it really bother you that much?”

“Of course it did,” Jungkook says, walking up to the desk and sitting on it, “He’s mine. My partner. Having you guys all over him obviously made me pissed, Namjoon. He’s my baby, not yours, or Jimin’s or Taehyung’s. Just mine.”

“Are you scared?”

“Of what?”

“That he’ll leave you?

Jungkook clenches the rim of the desk, “After tonight, yes.”

“Then was your relationship even strong, to begin with? If this bothered you so much that you’d drag him out of the room and then leave him home alone, maybe it wasn’t meant to be, Jungkook. Maybe he wanted to have some fun. He told you himself, he wanted to stay because home was boring. You don’t trust your friends either? You know nobody would dare to take him away from you. We know you love him. But after tonight. You might want to rethink everything.”

Jungkook can’t control his breathing. He rubs at his eyes and drags his feet to the couch, throwing himself on it and closing his eyes. When he blinks, it’s already morning and Hoseok is at the desk, his boot-clad feet propped on the desk, leaning the chair backward.

“Good morning,” Hoseok greets Jungkook, “You sleep well?”

Jungkook shakes his head, “I left Yoongi alone.”

“Well, not exactly,” Jungkook feels his blood run cold, “Taehyung and Jimin went to go check on you guys and Yoongi wasn’t in the house. The tracker on his phone put him closer to Jin’s house than anything else. So, my guess is that he went there.”

Jungkook closes his eyes as he hangs his head. Maybe he’s too late.
