the sky was a perfect gray, the sun carefully tucked away behind the clouds. the air was thin and cool, and the occasional, chilly breeze swept by. the grass was slightly damp, and a dark green, reminding you of the heavy rainfall your town had experienced just last night. a few purple flowers were littered throughout the expanse of the forest floor, a perfect contrast against the dark grass. it looked liked something from a fairytale. it was perfect.
but what had somehow made the scenery even more perfect, what had made the pretty purple stand out brighter against the grim green, what had made the fresh winter air, fresher, was the man sitting beside you.
"yoongi-ah," you whispered as you turned to him.
his eyes were closed and his head, resting against the trunk of the tree you were both sitting under, was turned skyward. his hair messy and tousled and a light blush painted his nose all the way to his ears. it was pretty chilly. he looked pretty perfect. like a fairy.
a small smile graced his lips when you called his name. he turned to you, his smile growing even bigger and brighter.
“y|n,” he whispered back. he brought his hand up to your face and gently stroked your cheek.
you cupped his face in your hands and pulled him in for a gentle kiss.
he rested his forehead against yours , as his hand moved down to support his weight.
you moved to rest your head on his shoulder, your hand finding his in the grass.
he rested his head against yours and sighed. "you know," he started.
you hummed in acknowledgement.
"i really love you. really."
"yeah?" you asked sitting up straight and smiled at him. your hand went up to his hair and you placed a purple flower behind his ear. beautiful. "cause i really love you too."
he flashed you a smile brighter than the moon, the stars, the entire galaxy.
a chilly breeze blew through, making both you and yoongi shiver.
he rested his head back against the tree and closed his eyes. he looked peaceful, and happy, and so amazingly beautiful.
everything was perfect. yoongi made it perfect.
