Yagi kept staring at him, incredulous.
"There's people gaining strength... Just from you being alive..." Aizawa confessed -was he saying too much? Every fiber of his being resisted to look down, searching for the moon... He couldn't find it.
Something tells him that he should. But it's simply not there, something in the storyline is wrong.
Instead he gets caught by a different pull, right next to him. He looks down.
Marvelous, Aizawa thinks. Staring back.
A miscalculation.
"...Stand Tall, You're here..." He keeps going, repeating the catchphrase... He knows he should back off but he can't. He's seen him, his eyes, their deep hurt. Something's there and he needs to reach for it.
Toshinori feels like he's seen Shouta for the first time. The moment feels anachronistic, he should be remembered of something, but Aizawa's eyes pin his thoughts from anywhere but them. He listens. And gets up. Their gaze a single one.
Yagi takes a step closer, they are breathing the same air. "This isn't-" "I know." Yagi leans down. Aizawa grabs at his scarf, desperate. They kiss. A warmth that shouldn't be there runs through their bodies. They smile. They steal a laughter from somewhere that shouldn't exist.
They hug tightly, molding into each other.
