Ok, so what if instead of indulging Xue Yang with the whole Chang clan massacre, Wen Ruohan tries to imprison xy and get the information about the Yin Iron out of him that way -
but xy escapes and ends up running into Xiao Xingchen and Song Lan, who at first don't want anything to do with the Yin Iron business, but xy manages to convince them that he is a ~victim of the big sects' conflicts~ and so they reluctantly agree to protect him and hide him in plain sight as their "disciple"-
so xy starts to wear his hair in a ponytail and xxc and sl lend him some of their clothes (just until they find another solution, it's not like xy likes wearing his boyfri- hiS PROTECTORS' CLothes)
of course he still plans to take revenge on the Chang clan but maaayyybe xxc and sl help him find a less mass-murdery way of taking revenge?
(mostly I wanted to draw them in flower crowns and xy wearing a mixture of xxc's and sl's clothes)
