"Hi. I have a training appointment today with... Winged Hero Hawks?" You tap your fingers against the side of the grand marble desk in front of you. The receptionist who sat behind it was pretty - in fact, everyone here was pretty... You felt out of place.

"And what is your Hero Name?" The pretty receptionist's manicured nails hovered over her modern keyboard, ready to punch in the keys that spelled your Hero Name.

"O-oh, It's Storm." You felt a weird presence from her, you felt oddly belittled.

"Winged Hero Hawks is currently out on a call but should be back within a few minutes. Please feel free to have a seat-"

"You tell Endeavor that I know he's ignoring me and that I won't leave him alone until he answers." A tall, messy blonde, and what seemed both youthful, but scruffy man walked into the office from the elevators, cutting off the receptionist mid-sentence.

"Yes sir. Uh, sir - a hero named Storm is here for training."

The messy blonde's piercing golden eyes burn into your face, his glare was playful but powerful enough to make anyone drop to their knees as he turns to you.

"Hey. I'm Hawks." He smiles, flashing his K-9 as he winks at you. It's obvious flirting and Hawks didn't even care to hide it.

"I'm Storm. Thank you so much for fitting me into your tight schedule.

"No problem. Follow me." He turns around swiftly back to the elevator, leading the way for you to follow "Tell me, Kid. Why do you want to be a hero?"

"I uh - Well, there's something about the thought of being a source of comfort and safety to someone, so they don't have to worry is one reason."

"And the other reason?"

"I come from a family of heroes. My life was pretty much mapped out from then on." You could feel him still staring at you as you looked down to the marble floor of the elevator.

"Damn. That sucks."

"It's whatever. What'll we be doing for training today?" You wondered just how much longer this tension stuffy elevator ride would last. Being so close to him that you could smell his musky cologne made you tense.

"Ah, you know, this and that." He walks out of the elevator as the doors finally open into an empty space. The ceilings were tall, and the walls were concrete. It was obviously a training arena. It reminded you of where you would train in at U.A.

"Let's see what you got, Kid. I'm a villain. I want you to restrain me within a minute. Use any means, just don't kill me." He leans against a far wall, crossing his ankles cockily.

He was underestimating you and it pissed you off.

You merely waved your hand, your quirk building a force field around the winged hero. All you had to do was hold focus for it to stay intact. That was the only downside to this use of your quirk.

"I'm waiting."

"Try to move."

Hawks chuckles deep in his throat, using his foot to press against the force field that was keeping him pressed flush against the wall. "That was too easy. Let me go."

"Aw, too prideful to say 'please'?" You were pushing your comfort zone, but something about this man made you want to tease him.

He scoffed once more, sending one of his large feathers towards you, binding your hands behind your back.

Everything happened in a matter of a second as you were bent over a table in the middle of the room, a bright red feather keeping your arms securely tied behind your back. Hawks placed his gloved hand on your lower back, applying just enough pressure to make it difficult to stand.

He was so close you could feel his warm, minty breath on the back of your exposed neck.

"I could kill you right now." He sing-songs, his voice quiet and brooding. Something about his tone made you want to talk back in defiance, but you held your tongue for a few more seconds.

"Please do."

"...huh?"

"Seems those bird characteristics went straight to your brain." You grunt as the hard metal digs into your hip bone. There was sure to be a bruise there by the end of the day. "Let me go."

The red feather binding your hands loosens, and so does Hawks' grip.

"Is that it for training? Tomorrow we'll be on patrol, won't we? Given you like me enough to make me your sidekick." You straighten up your back, accidentally bumping your head against his shoulder.

"You've got a lot of gall, kid. I didn't expect you to restrain me so effortlessly."

"So is that a yes?"

"That's an 'I'll call you later tonight to tell you my decision.'" He keeps his single feather in his hand as he backs away from you. "You're free to go, Kid."

You scoff as you straighten up, heading towards the elevator. Once more, you could feel him staring. The little perv.

"Don't call me kid."

You look back once more, a soft glare playing on your pouting face. He scoffs, letting a wide smile overtake his neutral expression.

Why'd that just make your heart flutter...

"Okay, Kid."
