Chapter Text
The world is a different place these days. In the past there had been an even number of the different second genders, but now Omegas are seemingly a dying breed. The Beta population is on a constant incline in their stead. This leaves a problem for Alphas. They have the biological need to be with Omegas, at least for their ruts. And while they can have, and indeed do have, fruitful relationships with betas, only an Omega can truly fulfill their biological needs.
So, the once slightly ridiculed Omegas are now held in high esteem, a wanted commodity. To secure their well being, governments have put restrictions on their movements. While none are held prisoner, it is considered a smart choice to opt for the protection or observation, as a lone Omega can be attacked or worse, kidnapped.
This arrangement leads to some unscrupulous figures taking advantage of the situation. New services where Omegas are bought by the highest bidders emerged. And while the Alphas believe that the Omega is only theirs (for as long as they need them), the truth is that they are tailored to be specifically what that alpha wants, for the night, week or month; the next day they are made to be something completely different for another Alpha. All the while believing that the only reason the omegas are just "visiting" is due to the government's rules for the safety of omegas.
Kim Seokjin is one such Omega. His story is not the best, however. He had been abandoned at birth and had been raised in one of the houses of the now so called ”quality brothels”. It has not been an easy life, and the new restrictions make it even harder. To his luck, or detriment, he is a special kind of Omega. His looks resemble an Alpha, with his tall stature, narrow hips and wide shoulders. His soft facial features are clear Omega, however; the slightly rounded face and plump lips too sweet to be that of an alpha. It has led him to be not the most popular omega back when the brothel was a normal one, but more of an acquired taste for some. That again is both good and bad, depending on the client.
And while the circumstances of his life have left him bitter, he is still a hopeless romantic at heart. He believes in mates, and hopes to one day find his own. To have someone save him from this horrible life that is all he has known. He tries to bury it as best he can, because in the end it is simply a fantasy for someone in his circumstances, but it is all that keeps him going some days. Especially days like these.
The government has also taken a hard stand on Omegas being tied to Alphas. For the protection of the couple involved, as well as for the good of the community, for science. They are trying to research for the reason as to the decline that is happening. So Omegas and Alphas are not allowed to stay together. It is of fear for the lives involved (as the hormones and lack of Omegas can lead to massive fights between Alphas, especially when in rut. There has been cases that have led to death.) The jealousy and need to mate too much to handle for most. There is talk of suppressants being handed out to the Alpha population to keep this from becoming a severe problem. There is also talk of Omegas being forced to move into Omega only communities.
And while the government is heavily involved in the lives of all Omegas, companies like the one Jin is working for (or rather, is owned by) manage to get around it. Whether it is by bribes or blackmail, he does not know. Nor does he care to find out. It is something that can cost him his life, after all. The company does, however, use the government as an excuse to keep the Omegas they sell from staying with the Alphas for longer than absolutely necessary. The perfect excuse to move them away, after all. The perfect way to use them for as many as needed. The only thing left behind is the silver calling card that the Omegas choose to use as their identity for the night.

Jin has been awakened late in the afternoon, making him feel groggy and disoriented. He has been resting in his room the past few days after having finished a trying month long assignment with one of his more demanding, and odd, alphas. He still feels exhausted, but he knows better than to complain.
He is told that Doyoon has suddenly fallen ill, and he needs to take over a high priority client that cannot be made to wait, some very important businessman. Jin will have to do his best to be everything the alpha wants even if he is not the first choice in looks, there is no one else available at this short notice. Demeanor and mannerism can save a lot, and Jin is good at acting. For him it is a matter of survival, after all.
He tries to get his foggy brain to register what little info they give him as they pull him to wardrobe. Tries harder to get the past draining month out of his head as he is shuffled off to hair and makeup. It's going to be a long night. But what else is new.
<<<
The drive to the mansion on the hill takes longer than Jin had thought it would. Behind him the city lights become dimmer the further away they move. It almost feels as if he's driving away from the life he knows. Jin shakes his head, trying to clear away any silly thoughts his tired brain comes up with. He needs to be at his best tonight and just because this is one of the few times he is leaving the city, he can't let himself be distracted.
Yoongi gives him the usual encouraging nod as he looks at him through the rear view mirror when they arrive at their destination. The driver will be close by, not intruding, yet close enough should something unexpected happen and he would be needed.
Jin smiles at him, gives a quick nod back, opens the door, and steps outside. The late evening air is crisp, and helps clear his mind to prepare for meeting a new client for the first time. There is always a trial go before any omega is sent to an alpha for a rut. The company wants to assure their clients of the quality of the product, to see if the fit is right. Jin snorts at the thought that he is just merchandise, then realizes he needs to not think about this right now. He is already not exactly what the client has asked for in looks, as they were unable to get his previously red hair blond. It is now a soft pink instead. As Jin is allergic to wig glue, he has always had his hair dyed. Hopefully the client will not mind. Not that there is anything he can do about it, after all, he is not the first pick for this client, but as the other fell ill, he is the only choice left. Considering how this is something he has never heard of being done (normally the meeting would have been moved until the requested omega was back in shape), the client must be someone very important to the company.
He again does his best to push these thoughts out of his mind, then walks up to the mansion entrance.
He rings the doorbell on the impressive double oak doors and waits for a moment, trying again to calm his jittery nerves. A hatch in the doors opens, and a grumpy looking man, probably Jin's age, looks out through it.
“Yes?” the man asks, seemingly bored.
Jin simply hands over a shiny, silver card with just the name 'Jin' inscribed on it. He's not entirely sure why he has this card with him today, it's the one card he keeps close to heart. He wants to blame it on the sudden change of plans that led him here, but it might be that he is simply tired of pretending, he's not sure.
The grumpy looking man looks at the card for a moment, then closes the hatch and opens the massive door for Jin to enter.
Jin enters the massive house, even more impressive on the inside than the outside. The entrance hall is opulent, stylish yet cold, lacking a personal touch. There are wood parquet floors, decorative marble running in the walls, heavy velvet curtains, fancy artwork. Dark woods and shiny metals, screaming of old money. The gruff butler shows him to the living room, then asks if he would like a drink. He explains that the master wants him to be made comfortable until he arrives. Jin thankfully agrees and accepts the whiskey on ice the butler hands him. He doesn't understand his nerves today, it's just another day on the job. Something has him on edge, almost as if this place is making his skin itch.
He sits down on one of the massive leather couches, choosing the one that is facing the floor to ceiling windows instead of the one facing the impressive media center built into the wall. This room is much warmer compared to the entrance hall with it's warm, brown leather and white, almost see through curtains taking center stage. The view outside the window is breathtaking; the house sits on top of a hill so the surrounding forest can be see bathed in moonlight, while further away the busy city center lights shine dimly. He is so entranced by the view that he doesn't notice the other person entering the room at first. He does, however, notice the most enticing scent he's ever felt drifting his way, making something click in his brain. Then suddenly there is a reflection of another person in the massive window. Startled, he quickly gets up, drink still in hand, and turns around to lock eyes with the most gorgeous man he has ever seen.
While Jin does notice the perfectly tailored, expensive, all black suit (even the tie is black!) the man is wearing, it is his silky, jet black hair and handsome face that steal his attention. The cute nose, plush, pink lips, the flawless, smooth skin, but most of all the dark, almost to the point of being black, enchanting eyes that are locked onto his own. The realization that they are staring at each other finally snaps him out of his stupor.
He subtly takes a more sultry stance, trying to hide his momentary loss of character, a seductive smile on his face.
“Hi there. I'm Jin, I've been waiting for you.” He instantly falls back into the familiar acting.
The alpha just stands there, looking at him. Jin can feel his nerves start to build up again. Is this a mistake? Maybe I shouldn't be here. He pushes the doubts out, focusing, knowing disappointing the company is not an option.
Then he sees the young man (younger than him anyway) twitch his nose (and Jin thinks it looks adorable!), as if scenting the air. Sees him draw a deep breath, watches as those black pools start to bleed into red. He doesn't notice himself scenting the air at first, only when he feels a slight shift in his mind, signaling that his eyes are turning golden and his wolf is taking over, only then can he again feel that amazing scent permeating the air. He swallows, trying to whet his suddenly parched mouth. Only this action draws the attention of the Alpha, those eyes now locked on his throat while turning an even deeper red.
“This can't be happening.” Jin whispers to himself, desperate to deny what is clearly happening. But the immediate and forceful reaction he is having, both mentally and physically can't be denied; this man is meant for him.
They keep looking at each other, Jin still in shock, the Alpha's gaze now locked on his eyes once more.
While it is amazing, magical and something one could only dream of in these days, it is still not a good thing. Not for Jin. Not with the life he lives. Not with the government regulating everything. Not with the company owning his life. So he desperately tries to shove it all back into the deepest corners of his mind. He cannot afford to think on this now.
Then the Alpha is moving towards him, slow but determined steps drawing him closer. It is impossible for Jin to miss the perfectly sculpted body that is coming towards him, especially as it is accentuated by that form fitting suit, no matter what state his mind is in.
The scent is driving him mad, his inner wolf demanding he submits, yet the human in him screaming to stop and run away at once. He does neither, simply stands and stares, as if frozen in place. Whether it is from fear, shock or need, he doesn't know.
When the Alpha is finally right in front of him, close enough to count the eyelashes that fan those brilliant eyes, Jin feels like he might snap. The tension is almost too much.
The Alpha leans in, and Jin unconsciously tilts his head a bit to give better access, then waits as he takes a deep breath, drinking in the Omegas scent. Jin is sure he will finally snap once he hears the Alpha speak.
“They really do find the perfect one for you, now don't they?” he hears the soft voice that is filled with desire whisper into his ear. His body melts at the voice, desire spiking through all his senses. He almost moans as he watches the Alpha scent the air again, practically tasting Jin's desire in the pheromones around him.
Then his mind falters. They. And that one word breaks the spell for Jin. He is thrust back into reality. Remembers that his life is owned by a company, that this man, no matter what he would have been in another life, has simply purchased his services. And while the Alpha might think it's just them, Jin knows that tomorrow it will be someone else.
So he leans back, lets himself drop into character and slowly takes a sip of the drink that he is still clutching in his hand. Partly to show of his lips and throat in motion, but mostly to give himself a second to regroup. The alcohol burns as it slips down his throat, not helping to add any moisture to his dry mouth. Or maybe it's his disappointment that burns as well.
“I'm flattered.” His smile is a mix of sly and shy, seemingly just right from the reaction of the other. It's not hard for Jin to play along, his body is still screaming for this other man. Even if his mind and heart feel broken.
The alpha leans in and takes another deep inhale at Jin's shoulder. The omega feels like leaning in and giving himself away, but he settles for speaking instead.
“Like what you see?” The cockiness in his voice says he knows the answer. He is, however, not prepared for the other to then softly run his fingers over the shiny, mesh choker that is around his neck. The movement is followed by a low growl.
“This offensive thing should be burnt for hiding something so exquisite.”
Jin is a little taken back. Almost all omegas wear protective collars around their neck. His is a high grade Kevlar like material, made into a beautiful mesh fabric that covers his vulnerable mating glands. The company isn't willing to take any risks with their property.
The alpha takes a step back, as if trying to gauge the omegas reaction to his words. Jin quickly tries to gather himself, to fall back into character, yet his mind is so full of questions. Those words, and the meaning behind them, hitting him in places he cannot afford right now.
A ringing phone breaks the silence in the room.
“Do you need to get that?” Jin asks, eyes flirtingly asking which is more important.
“No.” The answer is short, yet powerful. Jin smirks slightly at the thought that he is the more important business at the moment, and not whoever is on the other end of that call. Inside, his wolf is pleased at being a priority, almost as if saying it's as it should be. Jin tries to ignore those thoughts. This is a job, just a job. Doesn't mean we can't enjoy it for the moment. Focus.
At last (or too soon) the alpha turns away from Jin and walks a few steps away, back turned to Jin, seemingly contemplating something. He takes off his jacket and throws it on the couch, before turning back around to look at Jin.
“Perfect, even if it's not exactly what you thought you wanted.” There's something in the others eyes as he says those words, as if they're more of a thought than a spoken sentence. Something Jin almost misses, yet he can't put his finger on what it is.
With that said, the alpha grabs his wrist and pulls him with him to the master bedroom. He let's go of Jin's left hand and then grabs the drink from the other's right hand. Jin let's out a huff of fake annoyance at the action, but doesn't move to take it back. The alpha goes to sit on the edge of the bed, finishing of the drink and putting away the glass on the floor to the side of the bed. He takes a comfortable seat on the bed before finally speaking.
“Undress for me.”
Jin is frozen for a second at the command. He looks down before a wicked half smile adorns his face. He looks back up at the alpha, his eyes a golden circle around the lust blown pupil of his eyes, and slowly licks his lower lip, that sly smile still there. He sees the alphas reaction, hidden as it may be as he seemingly is not expecting the omega to react as such. Jin is never one to back down from a challenge, especially a delicious one like this.
Jin lifts his hands, slowly sliding out first the left cuff-link, then the one on the right. He brings his right hand up to his face and runs his thumb along his lower lip before letting his fingers slide down, caressing the mesh that covers his throat. He can see the alpha swallow at the movement, eyes fixated on Jin's throat, then following his fingers down to the collar of his button up shirt. He slowly slips one button loose, then the next, teasing the alpha with each slip of skin that the shirt now exposes. After the third button, he takes some time to show off his collarbones, tilting his head to show of more throat as well. Jin smiles with pride inside as the alpha seems to shift uncomfortably, his inner wolf proud of the attention he is demanding.
He goes a little faster with the remaining buttons, instead taking time to let the garment slip off his shoulders and down his arms before letting it fall in a heap on the floor.
There really isn't a sexy way to take of your shoes and socks, so Jin decides to turn around and bend over to take them off, offering the alpha a spectacular view of his naked broad shoulders and most importantly, his round butt. He can feel the air fill with that delightful scent, and he can feel his body react, it almost surprises him with its intensity.
He kicks his shoes and socks off to the side, stands up and takes a calming breath before turning back and again locking eyes with the alpha. It's somehow even more intense now, and he can't wait to get his hands on the alpha, and the alpha's hands on himself.
He steadies his hands, the adrenaline making them shake from anticipation, before unbuttoning his skinny jeans. His ears instantly picking up the intake of air from the alpha, and his smirk is back in full force. With a skill learned from many years of stripping, he smoothly slips out of the skin tight jeans leaving him only in his underwear.
He puts his thumbs into the elastic of his underwear, then pauses before looking back up the alpha and then tilting his head in question.
Confusion flits over the alphas face, seemingly too lost in the vision of what is before him to understand why it has stopped. He looks back up into the omega's eyes, watching as the other lifts his eyebrows as if asking something. When the alpha realizes what the omega wants, he huffs, then smirks.
“Please.” That simple word does things to Jin that he hasn't felt before, and his heart swells at the alpha submitting to him in this way. Never would he have thought an alpha would plead with him for anything, and never before would he have dreamed of asking. Alphas demand, they do not request, especially not one as powerful as the one before him.
He swallows before pushing his underwear down over his hips, letting them fall to the floor before stepping out. Standing still, he lets the alpha take all of him in, then, after a moment of collecting his thoughts, finally moves closer to the delightful source of the scent that is driving him mad.
Naked and proud, Jin walks over to where the still fully clad Alpha is sitting on the bed. He can see the appreciation on the others face, his eyes a bright red, filled with hunger. He pushes the younger man back, climbing on top of his lap, immediately noticing the impressive bulge pushing against him through the expensive fabric of designer pants.
Jin lets his fingers caress the alphas throat as he slowly unties the silky, black fabric that is wrapped around the others throat. There is a slight growl as his fingers touches sensitive spots, almost playing with fire.
He bites his lower lip as he slowly begins to unbutton the silky button down shirt, trying to keep his fingers from shaking as the fabric slips under his fingers. As each button reveals more skin, he feels his own hunger increase. This alpha is perfect, his body cut from stone. He drags his short nails on the prominent abs in front of him, making the other draw in a sharp breath, before helping him out of the shirt. He drops the cloth on the floor, feels as the alpha shifts to lean back on his arms to get a better view of the Omega.
Jin licks his lips, winks, then shifts his hips so he can get to the fastening of the pants that are now in his way. Again, his hands are shaking. He can feel the impatience, the need to move on burning in him.
He pops the button, then slowly pulls down the zipper, again impressed with the bulge that's hidden beneath. Well, not that well hidden, but even more impressive up close. Need is pushing him hard now. He wants the alpha to grab him, to take part. As much as he loves leading, he just wants this man to take him.
Suddenly the phone rings again, this time with a different ring tone. The Alpha freezes, then sighs before gently lifting Jin up off him and setting him down beside him on the bed, then getting up, grabbing the phone as he goes. He moves to stand by the window before he answers.
“Yes?” A pause,
“No, I'm aware.” His head drops, as in defeat.
“Thank you. Good night.” The young man keeps standing by the window, staring at his phone for a while before finally addressing Jin without turning to look at him.
“You can get dressed and leave now. I'm afraid I'm not up for this tonight.”
Jin is a little shocked, actually more than a little. Never has anyone who clearly desired him that much just told him to go home. He wonders what was said, and by whom, to make an alpha in need turn away a willing omega.
Jin shakes his head to clear it, then gets up and goes to where his clothes are still strewn on the floor. He puts on his underwear and has his shirt pulled on, unbuttoned, before he pauses to watch the alpha who is still standing by the window, seemingly staring out into the dark. Something inside him cracks at the heartbreaking image the young man presents, and an absurd idea pops into Jin's head and out of his mouth before he can stop to think about it.
“I-I could stay and just keep you company? I'm a great snuggler.” The second the words leave his mouth he wants to take them back. He was requested as self assured, confident and even arrogant. And there is nothing arrogant about snuggling. Snuggling is all Seokjin, not what the company wants or has ordered him to do.
The alpha turns around swiftly, staring him down. Jin cannot break eye contact, even if he wanted to. There is still a hint of red in those eyes, but mostly they are filled with pain and hurt. The silence seems to stretch on forever before the other man kind of grunts, then nods. He walks to the bed, pulls off his pants and gets under the covers. Staring at Jin for a second, who is still lost as to what he has done, the younger lifts the covers and nods at Jin as he seems not to be moving on his own any time soon. Jin can feel the blush spreading on his cheeks, but he finally moves to the bed, dropping his shirt on the way. He climbs into the massive bed, enjoying the feel of the expensive cotton sheets as he shimmies closer to the other. Before Jin can reach him, he stops, smiling shyly. Some of the sadness leaves the younger mans eyes as he opens his arms and indicates for Jin to lie on his chest. Jin is sure his wildly beating heart can be heard a mile away, but is pleasantly surprised when he feels a similar beat against his cheek as he settles his head on the wide expanse of skin. The alpha is warm, his scent calming yet captivating, instantly soothing Jin. The arms that now hold him are strong and powerful, but all he can feel is protected.
Jin isn't sure, but just before he falls asleep he thinks he can hear a softly whispered “thank you” into his hair.
<<<
Early the next morning, before dawn actually, Jin wakes up to an empty bed. Taking a deep breath, he can still sense the lingering sent of the alpha, but it is faint and mostly from the room itself. He's amazed he slept through the other leaving. Looking around the room he finds his clothes are in a neat pile on a comfy looking chair next to the door, and there is a note on the bedside table to his left. He grabs the note and leans back against the plush bed head to read it.
Thank you for last night, sorry I had to leave so abruptly.
I hope we can reschedule for Thursday, and finish what we started.
-JK
Ps. Feel free to have Taehyung make you anything you want for breakfast.
Jin runs his fingers over the text, re-reading it a few times. He can feel his cheeks heat up at the thought of “finishing” what they started.
Then he comes back to the initials, JK. It suddenly hits him that he never learned the others name. How odd. He can ask the company, but that will point out that they had not done their job well enough in informing him and that will not go unpunished. You can never make them be anything but perfect, after all. Or maybe they had, but he had been too tired for it to register. Doesn’t matter now anyway.
<<<
He decides to skip on breakfast, especially after seeing whom he presumed is Taehyung milling about the house with a grumpy look.
When the other spots him, Jin smiles and waves before making his way to the front door. He never receives a greeting back.
Outside, a little down the street, a familiar black sedan is waiting for him. He jogs over and jumps into the back seat. Yoongi knows better than to ask him how it went, and the drive back to the companies facilities is in silence. Jin still wonders if Yoongi can notice something is different.
Right now all Jin wants to do is go home and rest, then try to figure out what the hell just happened to him.
When he finally gets home, he quickly greets his roommate Jimin and then practically sprints to his room to try and clear his mind and get his thoughts in order about what just happened.
>>>
Namjoon is one of his regulars. Well, not that he knows he is “one of”, he thinks he is the only one, as all the others do. He is a famous music producer, and a very kind man. Jin does not know why he is using the company's services. He is amazing enough to find a proper companion for himself.
They are lying in bed, post sex, both fully aware that their time together is coming to an end very soon. Any moment the doorbell will chime, announcing the arrival of Jin's ride and the end of their time together. Jin has tried to be as normal as possible, but his insides scream at the wrongness of being here with another alpha.
“So... there is something I want to ask you.”
Jin scoots away from his position against Namjoon's chest so he can lean on his elbow and face the other. He makes a hmm noise to imply he is listening.
“Well, it's just...” the man sighs, then gathers himself before continuing.
“What's your real name?” Jin lets confusion show on his face, while his thoughts fly around a mile a minute. It is not the first time someone has tried to pry information out of him, and confusion is the standard response.
“What do you mean? You know my name,” he says while showing a shy smile, the silver card on the bedside table with the name YONGSUN printed on it a stark reminder of his lies.
Namjoon takes a deep breath, sounding very frustrated.
“I know that's what you're supposed to say. But I also know that's not the truth.” He shifts a bit on the bed, leaning more against the bedhead.
“Look, I like you. I respect you. You don't need to lie to me. I know that this is not what they sell us, I've had my suspicions for a long time. I care about you, so I haven't wanted to put you on the spot. But today it's just...” He flings his fingers through Jin's still pink hair.
“It's time. For both of us.” He looks at the Omega with pleading eyes. Eyes that hold some hurt in them as well.
“Jin. My name is Jin.” He knows he is doomed as the words slip out of his mouth. Still, he respects the younger Alpha too much to keep lying when the other obviously knows the truth. To a degree anyway.
“I knew it. I didn't want to believe it but, I just knew it.” The disappointment and hurt oozes off the alpha, and Jin is sorry for having caused it, but such is life these days.
“I'm not going to apologize. I will ask you don't mention this discussion to the company, I will be severely punished for telling the truth.”
Namjoon grabs for his free hand, holding it tightly between his own.
“Of course I won't. And thank you for telling me the truth. What you can of it anyway.” He gave Jin's hand a quick squeeze.
It is at this point the doorbell rang. They look at each other before Jin crawls out of bed and starts to get dressed.
“Maybe next time we can just, stick to the truth? Maybe get to know each other, for real?”
Jin smiles at the other. Who would have thought the day would end like this?
“I'd like that.” He walks to the side of the bed and gives Namjoon a quick kiss before walking out of the room, a weight somehow lifted from his shoulders.

It's Thursday.
It's Thursday and Jin is a ball of nerves.
It's Thursday and Jin is listening to Jimin ramble on about some random thing while they have breakfast. How can it be Thursday already? He is both enormously excited and scared beyond imagination.
It's Thursday and Jin is counting the seconds until he needs to go see the alpha that has been in his thoughts every single minute since he left that house. As the hours go along he starts to panic, what if the alpha doesn't want to meet again after all?
His inner wolf grumbles at him, sure in the fact that their alpha has missed them as much as they have missed him. Years of naysayers and self doubt keeps Jin from listening, or believing. All his life he's dreamed about meeting his mate, and he is sure JK is it. The fact that he has trouble seeing anyone else hit that point in hard. He's not sure how he will manage to go on if JK doesn't want him the same way. Or what will happen when he finds out the truth about Jin. Not to mention how the company will react. Jin can feel a headache starting to build at all this stressing. Jin sighs and rolls his shoulders to try and relax.
The day has gone by in flash, even though at times it felt like a snails pace. Jin is waiting to get the call to go to hair and make-up, all other preparations have been made.
When the call finally comes, and he gets there in record time, he's happy with the choice of clothing for the day. Black, slightly torn skinny jeans; a light pink form fitting t-shirt (made from some sort of slinky material) and the whole ensemble is completed with a black, light jacket that passes as a shirt as well. Jin feels super comfortable and, more importantly, very much himself in these clothes.
Make-up is simple smoky eyeliner, nothing more. It all feels very different from last time, and while he loved the look last time, he's happy that this is the request this time as it represents the “snuggler” in him more so than the cocky, spoiled version.
Jin is happy that he feels confident looking in the mirror, because the second he sees Yoongi come up behind him everything is suddenly real again.
It's time to go.
<<<
Jin can't really remember much of the ride to the mansion, he's so lost in his thoughts and the nerves that accompany them. He thinks that Yoongi has been giving him strange glances at his odd behavior the whole ride, but he can't be sure and the driver never says anything.
At least not until they arrive and Jin doesn't get out right away.
“Will you be okay?”
Jin is a little taken aback by the question. It's more or less a rule that the driver never asks the omega anything. They're not supposed to talk. He appreciates the others concern, and quickly nods a yes with his usual smile on his face. Yoongi seems a little unsure, but nods back and watches as Jin exits the vehicle.
Jin takes a few deep breaths before he walks up to the massive doors. He can hear the car drive away, and takes comfort in the normality of it. He lets out a deep breath, then rings the doorbell.
A few moments later, the hatch in the door opens, and the grumpy looking face of Taehyung is there, giving Jin a blank stare. Jin just smiles and as he's about to say hi, the hatch closes just for the door to open a second later. Taehyung holds it open until Jin enters, then points towards the living room.
“Master Jungkook is waiting for you.” After those words, he walks past Jin and out the door, closing it behind him. Just us two now.
Then Jin realizes something: Jungkook. JK is Jungkook. His smile lights up his face as he whispers the name a few times to himself, liking the way it feels to say. He's actually glad he didn't know it before now. It gives the night an extra special feel to it.
Jin takes a moment to store this feeling deep into his memories. It's not often he gets good moments like this. Something to keep him company in the long, cold nights. But tonight will not be one of those. And the second that thought is back in his mind, the nerves are also back as is the realization that he has been standing in the hall forever.
With that in mind, he finally moves towards the living room, jittery with nerves that somehow disappear the instant he sees that familiar frame (who is he kidding, the mans whole being is etched into his memory) standing by the windows, looking at the scenery beyond the glass.
He takes a second to enjoy, and admire, the view before he announces his arrival with a simple 'hi'. Jungkook does not turn around right away, but Jin can see most of his reaction in the reflection of the window as well as the slight change in his body language. If he didn't know better, he'd think the other man felt nervous as well. He has but a second to think about it before Jungkook finally turns around to look at him, and then all thoughts flee Jin's mind.
Again he is impressed by the young man's sense of fashion; the others outfit of a plain, but stylish, well fitted black coat that covers a black and grey striped turtle neck shirt. Jin's favorite are again the simple, yet elegant, black, pressed pants that are snug in all the right places. He doesn't think he can hide the appreciation he is sure is visible on his face, but right now he doesn't care.
“Keeping me waiting? Well, I guess he who waits for something good can never wait too long,” Jungkook says with a smirk. For a second, Jin panics that he took too long before he recognizes the teasing tone. He let's a cocky, teasing smile adorn his lips before he answers.
“And as you are waiting for the best...” He leaves the words hanging and sends them off with a flying kiss.
“Touché.” Jungkook doesn't move from where he stands, just standing there perhaps appreciating, or maybe examining Jin.
“Would you like a drink?” The question is so normal, so everyday, it makes Jin's nerves calm down a little.
“Sure. Whatever you're having.” Jungkook smiles slightly at that.
“Then follow me.” Jin is a little confused. There's a whole minibar in the room, if Jin remembers correctly. What could he be drinking?
They walk into the kitchen, and Jin tries his hardest not to geek out at how awesome it is, somehow managing to keep his reaction hidden. At least he thinks he does, but the knowing smile on Junkook's face suggests he's not as successful as he thinks.
At the (in Jins mind heavenly) island counter, Jungkook grabs a cup and then the pot sitting next to it. He pours Jin a cup, and the other is shocked at the steaming liquid.
“Tea? You're having tea?” Jungkook's smile just grows as he hands Jin the cup.
“Is there something wrong with tea?” Jin graciously accepts the hot beverage while shaking his head, a light blush trying to sneak onto his cheeks.
“Of course not. Tea is great.” He feels like an idiot at his words, but just tries to ignore it and carefully drink some. As the fragrant liquid hits his taste buds, he is surprised by the depth of flavor and unconsciously let's out an appreciating sound.
Jin watches as Jungkook leans back against the opposing counter, having another sip of his own mug of tea. Jin is jealous of the others calm demeanor. He feels like his brain is going to explode unless they break this silence soon. Normally, he would enjoy the silence, but with the energy sparking between them, it's just making him feel nervous and on edge again.
The tea does give him some time to try and get a grip, to pull upon years of experience to push the nerves back. Falling back on his experience helps calm his mind, even if the nerves still remain. His thoughts are finally coming back to him, reminding him that this is what he has been waiting for, been dreaming about. It doesn't exactly help his nerves, but it sets into him the feeling of rightness in this.
“Wanna go sit down and chat?” He's a little caught of guard by the question, but only for a second or two. Thankful for the suggestion, he nods at the alpha and follows him back to the living room, taking a seat on the familiar couch. Jin sits down next to him.
“Do you like the tea?”
“Yes. It's very refreshing, thank you.” He takes another sip then let's out a small giggle. Jungkook looks at him questioningly.
“Well, I wasn't exactly imagining us talking about tea when I thought about today.” A smile spreads on Jungkook's face (Jin can't get over how beautiful it looks), and he nods.
“So you've been thinking about tonight?” For some reason, Jin feels like he's been caught with his hand in the cookie jar, which is absurd. And he's pretty sure the other has thought about it as well, or at least had it cross his mind. As he takes a closer look, he can see the joyful glint in Jungkook's eyes, and that sly smile is about to break into a wide one. Jin decides he likes this teasing, playful side, and decides two can play at that game.
“Oh, I've thought about it in great detail.” He pauses to suggestively lick his lips.
“Imagined it in full HD with surround sound.” Then he lets an innocent look take over before delivering the final blow.
“Haven't you?” The playfulness and smirk is gone from Jungkook's face, and suddenly Jin isn't sure if this was the right thing to say. He can see, heck, he could tell if he was blind, that his words have affected the alpha in the most primal way. He can practically hear the others wolf growling. Then suddenly, Jungkook stands up, takes off his jacket, and walks over to the other side of the room to stare out the windows. Jin can see Jungkook is taking deep breaths, pulling at the collar of his turtleneck as if it's hindering the oxygen from reaching his lungs.
Just as Jin is about to start panicking that he's ruined everything, he can scent something in the air: desire mixed with something darker. As he takes in the delicious scent, he can feel his wolf start to push at him in reaction to it. It pushes him to get up and go to the alpha, no matter what. He walks slowly, aware that he could be dealing with a more wild side at the moment, especially watching that impressive body try to fight for control. He stops just short of the other, close enough to feel the heat radiating off him, but still leaving room between them. He wants to just push his body against the other, to remove any distance between them, but decides to give the alpha some space, no matter what his wolf wants.
“I... I need a minute”. The stutter surprises Jin. He's not sure what to do, or say, so he just says the first thing that pops into his head.
“I meant what I said.” And he did. He has imagined this moment, and what would follow a thousand times. But this current reaction has never entered those dreams. He watches as Jungkook takes one last deep breath, then turns around, and Jin is suddenly thankful for that breath of air between them. The look in the alphas eyes holds him captivated, it's so deep and full of promise. Jin just stands still, holding his breath as he waits for the other to do something, anything. He doesn't have to wait long.
Jungkook gently cups Jin's face, thumbs rubbing along his cheeks while his eyes are firmly locked on the other's. Jin is sure he just gulped, it's so intense somehow. He can see those flecks of red begin to bleed into the whole iris, can practically taste Jungkook's desire in the air. And it's making him react in ways he hasn't in a long time. Jin can feel something that shouldn't happen, happen; his body starts to prepare to be entered. He can feel the slick trickling out of him. He blushes wildly at this. It's something his suppressants should keep away. Yet as the blush colors his cheeks, he can see the alpha suddenly inhale deeply, and now those red eyes are almost completely hidden as Jungkook's pupils dilate as wide as they can go from desire. He looks as if he wants to devour Jin, and Jin wants him to.
Suddenly those hands pull his head closer, and the two finally kiss. It's a little hesitant at first, even with this wild desire in their veins, the need to please the other is prominent; to be what the other wants, whether it be a subconscious action or not. Quickly they both gain confidence with the other's likes, and the kiss turns more passionate. Tongues coming to play, the nibbling and sucking of lips. Jin feels so hot, he needs to get rid of his clothes, as well as that of the alphas. He needs to touch the other's skin, to taste every inch of it.
Jin breaks the kiss and is pretty sure he hears a growl, but eases the tension with a quick peck. He grabs Jungkook's hand and simply says one word.
“Bedroom.” The alpha grins, his red and black eyes making the look frightening, but Jin isn't afraid, just excited. Jungkook quickly leads him to his bedroom, where their passionate kissing continues as soon as they enter the door.
Jin is glad the alpha is no longer wearing his jacket. It's one less piece of material in his way, but the striped turtleneck sweater is hiding way too much skin. Off, now. Jin's hands react to his thoughts and are quick to drop to the hem of the shirt to pull it up. They break their kiss to pull the garment off, and Jin decides to take a few seconds to marvel at the naked expanse of skin in front of his eyes. The other man looks out of this world standing there in his finely pressed black pants and no shirt. Jin swallows, eager to get his hands on this work of art. Just before he reaches out, he hesitates. Am I allowed? He looks back into the eyes of the alpha, who he finds is eagerly watching him for his next move. He can see how the other is proud that Jin is impressed with the alpha's looks, and hopes that the alpha will be happy with his (even though the other has seen all of him already). When nothing happens from the omega's side, the alpha takes Jin's right hand and holds it against his heart. Jin can feel the strong heartbeat beneath the soft skin, and suddenly can't stop his hands from wandering all over. The alpha sighs as Jin's hands map out his skin, and Jin blushes again at pulling this reaction from the other. Suddenly, he can't get rid of his own flimsy t-shirt fast enough. He wants skin on skin and he wants it now.
The second he's pulled his own shirt over his head, the alpha is there, caressing and kissing his chest. Jin moans deeply, every place where he is touched making him tingle. He enjoys a few more moments of touch, before he pulls Jungkook back up and kisses him with all he has. There is no way he can express his desire, need, and happiness enough. They keep kissing, stumbling as both try to get out of their pants without letting the others mouth go. Somehow, they manage and tumble onto the bed, their kiss breaking as Jin makes an 'oof' sound as Jungkook's weight lands on top of him, followed by a groan from both as their erections rub together. There is only underwear separating them.
Somehow they manage to slink out of their underwear without letting go of each other. Jin isn't sure how as he's lost in the pleasure (he's positive it won't be the last time), but he doesn't care, especially not as Jungkook grabs both their members and rubs them against each other, his hand pulling and tugging just right. Jin can't help but whimper, wanting to beg for more as his body again screams to be taken, but he can't seem to form words. He is so lost in how right and good everything feels, how he can't stop gulping down breaths filled with that amazing scent, those powerful alpha pheromones, that he doesn't realize Jungkook has moved down Jin's body. He feels every kiss and lick, keens when his sensitive nipples are kissed and sucked, all the while that talented, strong hand keeps stroking him.
He's so gone, completely having forgotten all his training, his role, just enraptured with what is going on, that he doesn't even notice when it stops at first. Then, as his senses slowly seep back to him, his body keens in need at how close he was to release for it to just stop. He lifts his head from the mattress and looks down to see Jungkook sitting on the floor snugly between his legs, Jin's member still in his hand. He gets lost in those dark, deep eyes that are locked onto his. Again, more pheromones fill the air, and Jin feels his body respond in kind with his own. He wants to lean back and just moan, soak in the scents, but something in those eyes just keeps him frozen in place. When Jungkook is sure that Jin's attention is on him and nothing else, he slowly lowers his head and Jin's eyes widen when he realizes what the other is about to do. They automatically close and a deep moan is pulled from him as a hot, moist mouth is wrapped around the tip of his cock. He feels his body shudder in preparation to come when that mouth dips up and down and a tongue comes to play. He tethers on the edge, yet keeps being denied as he feels deft fingers nudge his opening, before one slips in effortlessly.
“Y-you... you don't need to do that. I'm prepared.” There was an immediate anger in the alpha's eyes, climbing back up the bed, his hands grabbing Jin's arms with bruising strength.
“Who touched you!?” He demanded to know, possessive pheromones filling the air, smothering Jin. Jin practically quivered at the feelings he got from realizing Jungkook was jealous. This amazing, powerful creature wanted to be the only one to touch Jin, and Jin wanted the same. He wanted it so badly that there were almost tears in his eyes as he desperately tries to form the right words to give his explanation to the alpha.
“No one. I did. Wanted to be ready.” Jungkook calmed down at those words, letting go of his iron grip on Jin's arms, kissing them where there might now be bruises.
“I'm sorry. Just... never do that again, okay? It's my job. And my pleasure.” The last part was said with a smirk and before Jin could react, there was a demanding kiss on his lips as two fingers slipped into him. Jin moaned into the kiss at the welcome intrusion, his body ready and wanting for more. His wish was granted as a third finger was added, even though both knew it was not needed. Jin was ready, but Jungkook had stated he wanted to be the one to do this, to prepare Jin and make sure the omega was ready for him. Suddenly, it was all just too much for Jin, his body too stimulated to do anything but what was natural, and so he came forcefully, come spurting out and splattering onto his stomach. Jin doesn't have time to come down from his release as the alpha is not stopping his preparation. Almost immediately Jin can feel himself harden again, his mind spent, but the demanding aura of the alpha pulls him back to focus on what his body is feeling. Somehow, he manages to lift his hand and cup the alpha's face to make him focus on the omega. The alpha stops his movements, a questioning look in his lust filled eyes. Jin can barely focus to get the word out, but he manages.
“More.” The single word gets an instant reaction from the alpha. His eyes lock laser focused on Jin as he moves his body into position, the two silently staring at each other as Jungkook slowly sinks into Jin, the omega's legs coming up to hook behind Jungkook's back, trying to pull him in faster, deeper. Their bodies sing as they are finally joined in the most primal way, both enjoying every slow movement, inch by inch, until Jungkook bottoms out. Then Jin's body simply quivers around him in pleasure, and their eye contact finally breaks as Jungkook's head falls against the crook of Jin's neck, a long, deep moan breathed straight into Jin's ear.
Jungkook takes a moment, then lifts his head up and gives Jin the gentlest kiss he has ever received, pulling back and looking into Jin's eyes before he slowly starts moving. He starts slowly, almost teasing, pulling out a little before sinking back in. Jin moans and tries to make him move faster, deeper, but Jungkook's alpha strength easily outmatches Jin's and he keeps his slow pace. Jin runs his hands up and down the others muscled back, coming up to cup his head with both hands and pulling Jungkook down for a powerful, deep kiss. He uses his hands to gently lift Jungkook's face a hairsbreadths away so he can again whisper just one word.
“Please.” This is seemingly all the alpha needs to be pushed into another gear, and before Jin has the chance to catch his breath, Jungkook begins to pick up speed and power in his thrusts. Jin loves the feeling of being pounded into the mattress with more power every time. He lets everything go and just enjoys himself with abandon.
He wants to be knotted, he wants to beg for it. But he can't. He can never do that, no matter how he cries on the inside for it, and for the lack of it. Instead he just focuses on reveling in the pleasure he is on the precipice of. It is so close to tipping over, just a tiny bit more is all he needs.
“Look at me.” The command instantly has Jin's eyes fly open, and the second they connect to the alpha's, he is pushed over that edge to pleasure. He cries out, wanting to close his eyes to enjoy, but those dark orbs hold him captive, the command ringing clear in his mind. And somehow looking at the alpha as he follows him into release a few thrusts later is just so much more intensive. It makes Jin want to come again, and when he notices that Jungkook is desperately biting his teeth together (all Jin's mind can think of is those teeth sinking into his neck, claiming him), he does just that.

The following Monday Jin has another client, one that doesn't see him that often. It feels so wrong. He feels sick to his stomach at every touch, and it takes all he has to act his way through the night. When he gets back to the company he actually welcomes the thorough scrub down cleaning they always do after a client meeting. Then when he gets back to his apartment (he feels lucky that his colleague and roommate Jimin isn't home), he spends the rest of the day crying in his room, until he is too exhausted and falls asleep.
He isn't sure if it is his imagination, but he thinks Jimin came in to check on him at some point.
When he wakes up in the late afternoon, he feels exhausted. That feeling of wrongness has lessened, but it's still there. He feels as if the sleep he got did nothing but make him more tired. And while he feels a little sick to his stomach, he's still hungry. It might give him some energy back. Yet he feels too tired to go get anything from the kitchen. It would seem luck is on his side as there is a knock on his door.
“Jin-hyung? Are you awake?” It's Jimin, seemingly back to check on him again. Jin smiles at his roommate's worried voice. He'll make a great parent one day.
“Yeah, come on in.”
“Good to see you up. I've been worried.” The younger omega enters the room with a relieved look on his face. Seems he's also read Jin's mind as he has a plate with a couple of sandwiches and what seems to be orange juice with him.
“I thought you might be hungry,” he says as he puts the tray down on the bedside table. Jin smiles gratefully as he quickly takes a bite out of one of the sandwiches (they're ham and cheese, his favorite). Jimin watches him eat for a while before finally speaking up. Jin has been waiting for him to talk for quite some time, but is grateful for the time he had to just focus on eating.
“What's going on with you, hyung? You seem different lately. I'm worried about you.” And while Jin is thankful to his dear friend for his worry, he can't tell the omega anything. Even though he'd love to share his troubles, it can put the other in danger, so it's best for them both if he pretends all is well.
“I'm just tired. Maybe coming down with something, can't seem to get enough sleep.” Jin feels so guilty for lying, yet he doesn't let it show. Jimin looks at him for a moment, then seems happy to accept his excuse.
“Then let's make sure you get enough sleep.” Jimin smiles and gets up.
“I was waiting to tell you all about this new... friend I made, but we'll do that another day.” He smiles and kinda blushes at the words. Jin's interest is peaked, but he is a little too tired for Jimin's excited energy right now.
“How about tomorrow? I'd love to hear all about it.” Jimin's face practically beams at his words, nodding vigorously before bidding the other a good night and leaving the room. Jin is happy for him, and can't wait to hear about his friend's good luck, but right now he just wants to finish eating and then sleep.

No matter how bad Jin feels after being with someone else, each time he is back with Jungkook he feels like he could float. It's both amazing and frightening at the same time. If Jin thinks he has the slightest chance to keep his heart safe, he's long since missed that train.
Jungkook has been in his office for some time dealing with some business calls, leaving Jin the time to snoop around the house. He likes that even though part of it is cold and impersonal (he has his ideas on why that is the case), you can see Jungkook's warm touch in the rooms he likes. Jin's favorite room might be the kitchen. It has everything a chef could dream of, and he can only guess at the amount of money that has been put into it. Probably more than he'll ever know in his entire life.
He tends to want to spend time in there, unless Taehyung is about, then he quietly slips away. That man is scary, even though Jin isn't sure why.
Seeing as Taehyung is now in the kitchen, cleaning up from making dinner Jin decides to go hang out in the office so he can just spend time watching Jungkook just do his thing. It's always so fascinating to see the young alpha throw himself into things he's passionate about.
Jungkook is in the middle of a phone call when Jin silently enters the office. Jungkook nods to acknowledge him, then focuses back on his call. Jin just smiles then goes to sit on one of the two chairs facing Jungkook seated at his desk. Every now and then, the alpha glances at him. Jin just winks at him or smiles when he catches him doing it.
At some point while he's dreamily staring at Jungkook, he picks up a name in the conversation directed at the alpha.
Jeon.
As in Jeon Jungkook.
COO and co-owner of one of the largest pharmaceutical companies in the world.
Jin is sorta shocked into stunned silence as he realizes this. He never really connected the dots before. He's happy Jungkook is still on the phone though, it gives him a little time to process it. No wonder the company was so adamant to please him.
Jin's mind is still reeling as Jungkook finishes up the call and sighs deeply. This sound drags Jin out of his jumbled thoughts.
“Everything okay?” Jin asks, while desperately trying to make sense of what this new information will mean to his situation.
Jungkook takes a few deep breaths, then starts rubbing his neck to seemingly ease some tension. Jin wants to go help him, but his brain and body won't react to that wish.
“Sometimes this job just sucks all the energy out of me.” He lets out a deep sigh, and at this point Jin can't take it anymore. He gets up and walks over to massage Jungkook's neck. The alpha sighs in pleasure as Jin's nimble fingers begin to work out the kinks in his neck and shoulders. After a while, Jungkook grabs one of Jin's hands and gives it a quick kiss in thanks before letting go and standing up to do a quick stretch.
“I have to go to Europe to look into the company branch there. Then maybe, the US after. We're trying to find a cure to this, or at least the reason to why second genders are dying out.”
Jin is stunned into another deep silence. He had no idea that this is what someone like Jungkook did, or even wanted to do as it could risk his own position of power.
“My mother was the most caring, loving Omega you could ever imagine. It broke my father when she died. Now a cure is top priority for our company. It was always important, as was all second gender research, but Father is dedicated now.” There is obviously something on the relationship that Jungkook is leaving out, but Jin is attentive enough to have it figured out in part.
“If for nothing else, I owe it to my mother to figure this out.” Jungkook goes to a shelf and picks up a family portrait and gives it to Jin for him to look at. The picture shows Jungkook as a young boy with a stern looking father and a beautiful woman. It seems Jungkook got his dark features from his mother.
“That's very admirable of you. Will you tell me about her?” Jin gives the framed picture back to Jungkook, and watches as the other reverently puts it back in its place.
“I will. One day, I promise.” Jin can see the sadness. It's all over Jungkook's features, even his stance kind of slumps. Obviously, it's a very touchy subject.
“Whenever you're ready,” Jin says with a kind, understanding smile. Jungkook smiles back and comes over to give Jin a quick kiss.
“Now, let's go eat dinner, or Taehyung will be even grumpier that usual,” Jungkook says with a wink. Jin lets out a laugh.
“I'm not sure if he can get any grumpier.” The personal assistant is always grumpy when Jin has seen him.
“Oh, just you wait until you catch him on a bad day.” Jungkook seems completely serious.
“Wait! Are you saying this is his 'good day' mood?” Jungkook simply laughs and grabs his hand to drag him to the dining room.

The next time Jin meets Namjoon it's a completely different dynamic. Jin is a little worried about how their meeting will go, but Namjoon simply welcomes him into his home and asks if the other will keep him company as he works on some music. To say Jin is shocked is an understatement, but he is happy to agree. It seemed the alpha had meant what he said the previous time, and truly does want to get to know Jin as a friend.
It is an amazing experience to watch Namjoon in his element, mixing things on his computer, then switching to play something before going back to the computer. Jin isn't sure how long he just sits there watching in admiration.
“Are you bored yet?” Namjoon asks at some point.
“No, not at all. You're so talented.” He's not sure, but there is a hint of a blush on the alpha's cheeks.
“Thank you. I'm sorry this took so long. When you get into the groove, it's hard to focus on anything else. Even something as entrancing as you.” Jin let's out a laugh.
“Sir, flattery will get you anything. Well, I guess you get that anyway,” he says among giggles and winks at Namjoon, who laughs as well.
Jin feels so lucky that Namjoon figured out what was going on. He loves their new relationship, even though he can sense that the other is saddened they no longer have that “one of a kind” relationship he thought they had. However, he seems genuinely happy to have them be friends. They can talk to one another about things they don't have anyone else to talk to about.
“Hm... what ever shall I ask for?” Jin giggles at the bad British accent. Namjoon just shoves him in the arm and loudly keeps 'thinking' about what he's going to request.
“Aha! Got it.” He playfully smirks at Jin while waggling his eyebrows. The omega is not impressed and feels some giggles rise again, yet manages to keep them in.
“You have to make me dinner! With dessert!” At this, Jin finally laughs again. He should have known Namjoon would find a way to use his new found knowledge of Jin's love for cooking in some way.
“Now let's go! I'm hungry.” And with that the two continue their new friendship, getting to know each other all over again over a home cooked meal.
<<<
“So I was just wondering...” When Jin doesn't continue, Jungkook let's out a 'hmm' sound in question.
“Well, why are you okay with me?” He's not sure if Jungkook thinks he's joking, but he's sure the other can see the doubt in his eyes. And he can definitely see the question in the alpha's eyes.
“I just mean, I'm not what you really wanted, you know.” Or rather, not what you ordered.
It takes Jungkook a moment before he answers, but it seems that he knows what Jin is referring to.
“In short; to bug my dad.” Jin physically pulls back, and the other is quick to grab his arm.
“Wait! Let me explain.” He takes a deep breath.
“He's still got this idiot idea in his head that an Alpha has to be with a certain kind of Omega. So I, well, I tried to look for something different. And you're not what I thought I was getting, but you're not what my dad was talking about either.”
A smiles brightens up his face as he caresses Jin's cheek gently.
“You're you and that's more than anyone could imagine or ask for.” Jin blushes furiously and goes into attack mode, grabbing the alpha and proceeding to kiss the living daylights out of him.

They're enjoying post sex bliss, just lounging around spending time with each other. Jin is laying in bed feeling like taking a nap, all warm and snuggly in his pink pajamas. He loves the pajamas because they were a gift from Jungkook, a surprise on an otherwise normal night. He feels relaxed and safe, comforted by the sounds of Jungkook randomly strumming songs on a guitar at the end of the bed. Also, the view of the alpha's naked back is familiar and a much appreciated sight.
“Do you play?” Jungkook asks suddenly, turning to look at Jin for an answer.
“The guitar? Yes, but I've been trying to learn the piano lately.” Jungkook gives an impressed look, before putting down the guitar and getting up. Jin looks at him questioningly, but goes along when the younger grabs his hand and pulls him to the combined sitting room and library. He leads Jin to the piano, before gently pushing him to sit down on the padded seat.
“Play something for me.” It's not a command, but a request. Jin is nervous. He feels he's not talented enough for this, not yet anyway.
He lifts the cover and runs his fingers along the black and white keys, a gentle caress as if in greeting. He thinks he hears an amused huff behind him, but decides to ignore it. In the corner of his eye, he sees Jungkook walk over to a plush looking armchair and sink into its welcoming cushions.
He focuses back on the keys and tries to think of any of his practice songs, but none come to mind. Adjusting so he sits more comfortably, he almost feels panic creeping in. He can practically feel Jungkook's anticipation in the air, and he doesn't want to disappoint. Yet, the only song that pops into his mind is one he wrote himself. I can't play that, he thinks desperately, but once it's in his mind, it won't leave him alone. After what feels like an eternity, but was probably only a minute, Jin submits to his fate and just starts to play.
The piano is perfectly in tune, but his nerves make him miss a few notes. Once he's in the groove, though, he can feel his mind melt away and, before he's even aware, he has started to sing. The words just spill out, even though the logical part of him knows this is a very dangerous thing to sing about. But they are his words, his thoughts, and they will not remain hidden.
As he hits the last few notes of the song, he can feel tears almost wanting to slip form his eyes. He's about to say something funny to break the tension, but before he can figure out what to say, there's a hand on his shoulder. He turns to look at Jungkook as the others hand moves up to his cheek, gently holding his face. The look on the alpha's face is that of wonderment, of surprise, and gratitude. Jin can't quite understand it and just as he's about to ask what's going on in the others mind, Jungkook slowly leans in and gives him the gentlest kiss Jin has ever received. Twice now the alpha has done that. His eyes slip closed, the tears finally let free and as the gentle, sweet kiss continues, he can feel Jungkook gently wiping the tears from his face. The moment seems to last for an eternity, yet not for long enough. So fragile, somehow. When they finally break apart, Jungkook leans back just enough to look at him in the eye.
"You are perfect," are the softly spoken words that fall from his lips. Jin's cheeks turn a flaming red, but he doesn't have time to be shy about it as those sinful lips are once again back on his. The air is filled with the most delightful scent, making his head spin and his eyes start turning golden. Jungkook's arms then go around his waist, and Jin let's his own go around Jungkook's neck, holding tightly so the other has no where to go.
He lets out an almost silent yelp as he is suddenly lifted into the air, his legs automatically go around Jungkook's waist to keep him from falling. The now familiar bulge that is pressed against him turns the yelp into a moan. Jungkook has a cocky grin, Jin can feel it against his lips, but that grin turns to a groan as he grinds himself against the alpha.

The thin mesh collar is made of a Kevlar-like material, to protect the Omegas from an unwanted mating bite. There were cases of Alphas claiming Omegas just to show them off, as a show of wealth or power. The claiming bond can be broken, but the chances of harm to the Omega is great, so it is viewed as a last resort. Jin is so used to wearing it that he didn't really pay it any mind any more, hasn't for years. Yet lately, it has started to bug him again, and he knows damn well why. And the reason is sitting right next to him on the massive couch watching a silly game show on TV. He really wants Jungkook to bite his neck. Sure, the other has left multiple bite marks all over his body, but not were the omega craves it the most.
Jin is also confused that he is allowed to spend so much time with Jungkook. The alpha has still not had a rut, but he is here more and more anyway. Then again, being the high priority client that he is can explain that. It does nothing to ease his worries about not being a good enough omega as the other is not reacting to him. Jin knew the pheromone blockers he takes are a part of it and even though they are not always doing their job as well as they should (friggin alpha pheromones driving him nuts), he still feels like a bit of a failure.
He tries to push the negative thoughts away, and focuses instead on the warmth he feels from where Jungkook's leg is in contact with his own. It instantly makes him smile inside, helping him feel better and focus on the show they are watching. Jin laughs out loud as the game show contestants fall down another ramp, right back into the jelly at the bottom.
“I love your laugh. It's so unique,” Jungkook says to the left of him. Jin blushes furiously. He hates his laugh sometimes. It sounds odd to him. He looks at the alpha who is now staring at the TV, seemingly super interested about what is happening on screen.
He notices that the Alpha is fidgeting, his fingers drumming a rhythm on his thigh.
“What's up? You seem nervous.”
Jungkook is slightly taken aback at the question, surprised perhaps to be put on the spot.
He turns to sit so he's facing Jin, before grabbing the omega's hand. Jin can feel the mood change, and starts to feel dread creep up inside him.
“You're kinda scaring me.” It's true. Jin fears Jungkook will grow tired of him constantly.
The alpha licks his lips and clears his throat before finally speaking up.
“I want you to come to Europe with me.”
Jin is frozen for a second. It's not a breakup, it's something entirely different. A thousand thoughts fly through his brain. How? Why? Can it be real? What does it mean? Can they make it happen? Will the company allow him to go? As he thinks, Jungkook continues to talk.
“I mean, it'll probably be boring as hell. I gotta go to like a thousand meetings and stuff, but I really want you to come with me and see what the world is like over there.”
A niggling thought of the lack of truth in their relationship haunts him for a split second, but the happiness he feels quickly drives the doubt away.
The smile on his face makes his cheeks hurt.
“I'd love to.” The smile, the simple overjoyed look on Jungkook's face, is more than enough to make him forget any lingering doubts that he has left. They'd make it work.

It's been a couple of weeks since Jin has seen Jungkook (the alpha having been busy with work that had to be dealt with before the trip), but he has received a message from the other to pack his things and come to the mansion for them to go on their vacation. Jin isn't sure how Jungkook has managed to clear it with the company and, frankly, he doesn't really care. He just wants to see his alpha and not worry about anyone coming between them.
He's currently packing his bags. Jimin pouts beside him as Jin is leaving him for some time. He wants to reassure the younger omega that everything will be fine.
“Jiminnie, I've told you how much our friendship has meant to me over the years, right?”
“Uh-oh, this doesn't sound good.” Jin smiles at him.
“It's good. I just think that we should be more open with how we feel now and then, don't you think?” He keeps rooting trough his closet as he speaks, trying to find just the right things.
“I guess. Only, for people like us it might not be wise.” Jin stops and turns, a light blue shirt in his hands that he really likes. However, he really dislikes the look on Jimin's face. The younger is usually full of smiles and an easy going mood. This serious, hurt look on his face just doesn't belong there.
Jin drops the shirt and walks over to the bed where Jimin is sitting. He grabs the younger by the shoulders and looks straight into the younger man's eyes, determined to get his point across.
“We never have to hide things from each other. Society might not be our best friend right now, but we have to be strong together.”
“Omegas stick together.” A small smile is now back on Jimin's face.
“Damn straight,” Jin says with a smile to match. No matter what would happen, they will always have each other to lean on.

There is something off about the mansion when Jin gets to it, but he's not sure what. Maybe it's just the gloomy weather that's hanging in the air that's making him feel that way. There's a storm about to break and the air feels weird from it.
Yoongi drops him off, and gives him a very rare smile with the usual nod. Jin smiles back widely and nods in thanks and greeting. He has always valued the other's company. The encouragement he got now is enough to help him push away whatever off feeling the lousy weather is giving him. They are going away anyway, so it didn't matter. Nothing mattered as long as he gets to be with Jungkook.
Clinging to that thought, using it to drive out whatever fears he might have about what the company will do to him after this trip (although he's sure it's been approved or Yoongi will not have been there to drive him), he grips his luggage and makes his way to the massive, but familiar doors.
He rings the doorbell and waits, nervously switching his weight from foot to foot as he waits. When nothing happens, he rings it again. What's going on? This is the right day, isn't it? He knows it's the right day, because he has been counting the seconds until it arrived. Taehyung is probably just dragging his feet, the grump.
Before too long there is finally some sound behind the door, and then the hatch opens. Taehyung is on the other side looking grumpier than usual. Before Jin has the chance to say something in greeting, the other speaks up.
“The master has left, and your services are no longer required.” Taehyung's voice drips with disdain, his eyes staring hatefully into Jin's. Then, before Jin has the chance to ask what's going on, the man puts his hand out the hatch and when it opens, a slew of silver cards fall to the ground. As if in slow motion, Jin watches them float in the air like leaves before landing on the ground, shiny in the illumination of the street lights. He snaps out of it when the hatch on the door loudly clicks shut. Realization slowly seeps in, the sadness and hopelessness of the situation digging their sharp claws into him, and as the claws sink in, something breaks inside him. A sob springs out, stealing the strength in his legs with it, and Jin falls to the ground, sobbing.
He knew it had been too good to be true.
THE END.
