Virgil had watched Roman start his breakdown and could only reach out, hoping to save some of the magic that seemed to be dying.
“I took your dreams with me Ro, come on, what do you need?” He asked, inviting himself into the others room.
Roman shook his head, “This is fine, I'm sure. I can – I can just be in the shadows for a while, just give him video ideas while these bruises start to heal.”
Virgil reached out wiping the tears away. “That's not helpful for anyone and as much as we're one of a thousand people I really want to help you.”
“I want to ask for help, can – can you give me any mental health tips, Virge? I'm not- not really getting along with anybody currently.” Roman muttered, letting his shoulders slump at the gesture. There was no reason to put on his act when Virgil would ignore it.
“You told me to give them hell, to fight for Thomas to push towards his dreams, even when my Anxiety could have held him back, so why don't you do that too.” Virgil suggested, helping to clear Roman's smudged make up off.
“Am I the one who was walking over me?” The question was quiet, a fear Roman had never admitted too, but immediately met with a shaking head.
Instead of just replying with words Virgil pulled him up and over to the mirror, “You did listen to everyone's restrictions, and I can't tell you the secret to success but the easiest way to fail is to try and please everyone. You could have flown away if you stopped pulling yourself down with our words.”
“I'm asking for help to break free of those words now.”
“And I'll be here doing my best to give you that help.” Virgil agreed.
