After that emotionally painful akuma, Paris turned in for the night. Ladybug looked out at her city as the building lights turned off one by one. She sighed and stood up, ready to head home. Until she spotted the Agreste mansion.
Adrien had been affected deeply by the akuma, and she wanted to check up on him. It wouldn't take long anyways so she swung over. Looking through the window, she saw him rubbing his nose. His eyes were red and puffy, and he was sniffling.
She never saw Adrien in a state like this and her heart broke for him. She knocked on the door and alerted him of her presence. As soon as he looked up his eyes widened and he immediately wiped away his tears and stumbled over.
"Hi," she said as soon as she was let in. He gave her a soft smile and her heart beat faster at that. Just a minute he was crying and now he was smiling for her.
"L-ladybug what a pleasant surprise! What are you doing here?" He asked nervously. She looked at him concerned which caused him to freeze up. "Adrien I saw you get affected by the akuma…." She replied and his eyes widened and he became rock still. She placed her hand on his shoulder and he flinched away which cause her to furrow her eyebrows.
"M-my mom looked so beautiful up close seeing her after so many years…." He whispered heartbroken. Her face scrunched up and she immediately hugged him. He flinched but soon his arms wrapped around her figure. "Sh-she was still kind as ever a-and she hugged me and-" his throat clenched and got clogged up.
"It's ok to cry Adrien. Let it all out" she whispered to him.
That was all it took for the dam to break. He sobbed his eyes out and gave heart wrenching wails. He pulled her closer and she pet his hair to soothe him. His knees gave out and she placed him close to her and placed kisses on his head.
Eventually his sobs calmed down to sniffles and hiccups. She pat his back and he smiled slightly at her. "Thank you for comforting me Ladybug…"
"No problem!"
He blushed and fiddled with his fingers," I do have one request though…". She squeezed his shoulder. "Ask away!"
He mumbled," c-can you kiss me?" She choked and turned red. "WH-WHAT?!" He flinched and repeated it again. She stared at him for a long while and he shrinked away.
"I-its ok if you don't want to. I was stupid to ask, I'm sor-"
He was interrupted by her soft lips on his. He turned bright red and wrapped his arms around her as her hands cupped his cheeks. She moved onto his lap and continued kissing him.
The kiss was sweet and long and soon enough they pulled back for air. They panted and she smiled at his flushed expression. "W-wow that was- I- omg I kissed Ladybug- Wha-" he stuttered and she giggled and placed a finger on his lips.
"Calm down Adrien," she laughed. He laughed nervously and spoke again. "It's hard to believe I kissed THE Ladybug. I-i mean I've always loved you and-"
"Wait you love me?!" She gaped and he nodded sheepishly. She blushed and smiled sweetly causing his heart to stutter. *I love you too Adrien.."
They kissed again and spent the night together. Cuddling and looking up at the stars, eventually falling asleep in each other's arms. Plagg watched them with a soft smile and fell asleep too.
The akuma's name: Time
The akuma used its powers to bring people from the past who you long for.
Emelie Agreste was brought to life today. Her appearance caused various amounts of emotions to go by everyone.
Master Fu came back.
To say the least it was a difficult and emotional day. But it was all worth it if they ended up in each other's arms that night. Nothing else mattered except each other's warmth.
Everything was just right...
