Work Text:

Sunwoo and Eric have never gotten along. Nothing was one-sided, they equally liked seeing each other in pain. In the third grade when Sunwoo stapled Eric’s hand, he still continued to tease and tease, as if Eric didn’t already have a bandaged hand to worry about. When Eric got his revenge by stabbing Sunwoo’s palm with a sharp pencil, he laughed at the permanent grey dot every time he saw it.

Even after twelve years, they’ve never relented. Always coming up with elaborate pranks to intentionally hurt each other. No teacher in their right mind sat them next to each other, but that didn’t stop Sunwoo from throwing various objects at his head nor did it stop Eric from stealing Sunwoo’s PE clothes everyday and tossing them in the trash. That’s just how they operated. Some students even joked that they were so obsessed with each other, they might as well date.

Repulsed by the idea, Sunwoo got a girlfriend. A pretty, pretty bitch of a girlfriend. Lee Somyi, the most prettiest girl to ever grace their school grounds dating some scumbag like Sunwoo. At that point, it’s just a competition. When she’s seated in his lap, she giggles and maybe if Sunwoo’s feeling like a real asshole, he’ll wrap his arms around her and shove his tongue down her throat right in front of him. He knew what he was doing and how much it affected Eric.

When he walks into class, he sees multiple insults written on his desk with permanent marker.

Eric growls, ready to give Sunwoo the beating of his life when Somyi walks in instead. Her pretty brown hair elegantly brushed to perfection past her shoulders. “What’s wrong, Eric?” She feigns innocence that Eric immediately catches as a facade. He’s seen this expression too many times on Sunwoo’s face to fall for any crap.

“N-Nothing. Where’s Sunwoo?” He asks, suddenly feeling the need to grab rubbing alcohol to rid the poor table of it’s vandalism. Somyi makes him incredibly insecure.

“Well, of course he’s getting me a drink from the snack bar. Isn’t that what boyfriends are supposed to do for their girlfriends when they’re together?” She asks, eyebrows slightly raised with a hand in her hair.

There's something unsettling in the way that she smirks at him and Eric contemplates just sitting at his desk, covering all the writing up with thick textbooks and various pencil pouches. Once he makes his decision to set his bag down, a manicured hand grabs a fistful of his hair and he gasps. “What- what are you doing?” Eric winces when her grip tightens.

“Sunwoo has so much fun messing with you. I thought I’d give it a try, yeah?” She smiles wickedly, slapping him across the face.

Somyi’s more insane than he thought, either sadistic or just plain crazy he has no idea. But she doesn’t have a clue about how Sunwoo and Eric’s relationship works at all. See, as much as Sunwoo loves making a fool out of Eric, he’s never really thoroughly enjoyed watching others do it. He's tried it once before.

Back in middle school, Sunwoo thought it would be fun if he were to dump the class’ trash can out on his head in front of all their fellow classmates, but as soon as some other kid threw a mere banana peel at his head, he lost it. Then there was another time, where some guy kicked Eric in the stomach. Sunwoo went home with bloody fists and that’s when Eric knew. He knew what they were to each other.

“What the fuck is going on?!” Sunwoo shouts, the can of coffee dropping to the floor with a loud noise.

“Babe, you’re back.. I was just teasing Eric like you do." She pouts innocently.

"I think this is more fun than making Jiwon eat in the bathroom!” Somyi laughs innocently, as if what she just said wasn’t completely deranged.

He makes brief eye contact with Sunwoo, watches as he starts to notice his tousled hair, the red mark on his cheek, even the insults written on his desk. Eric loves the way his eyes go dark at the sight and he could never be more excited for what big storm could possibly be coming to Somyi after the way she dared to treat Eric. But then a smile forms on his face, one Eric knows isn’t genuine, but it confuses him either way.

More footsteps and there’s a pretty, gentle hand around Somyi’s waist. “Fun, isn’t it? Look how dumb he looks.” Sunwoo notes with a small laugh, only breaking eye contact with Eric to look at his girlfriend. The smug smile on both their faces makes him want to cry and no matter how many times Sunwoo’s bullied Eric, he always cries. It’s his trademark after all, Eric the Crybaby. If Sunwoo wasn’t calling him stupid, he was calling him that.

Eric just looks away, obviously pissed and not even bothering to try and fix his hair. “Hm, well, I got your coffee. Don’t you want it?” He asks, sweetly and they seem to forget Eric is even there as Sunwoo pulls Somyi in for a searing kiss at fucking eight in the morning. Eric just breathes deeply, trying not to scoff at this incredulous act.

“W-Walk me to class, why don’t you?” She asks, knees feeling weak all of the sudden. When they finally turn to leave, Sunwoo spares one last glance while Eric unceremoniously gives him the middle finger.

After that, the only reason Eric can think of why Sunwoo didn’t lose his cool was because Somyi was a girl and boys don’t hit girls. But even then, he could’ve yelled at her or broken up with her, so why he keeps letting Somyi bully Eric is unexplainable.

So long as Sunwoo was okay with her messing with Eric, she would continue to bother him every day during his lunchtime nap. He wakes up to multiple things in his hair or various pens and pencils stolen from his bag. Somyi saying something stupid like, “Oh, I’m sorry. Are these your pens? I tried waking you up to ask, but you were simply snoring too loud.” She pouts mockingly and everybody around them breaks out into big laughter. Yet, no matter how distraught he looks, Eric always spares a glance at Sunwoo sitting in the corner to see the fire in his eyes each time.

Following the fifth time it happens, Eric finally realizes what he's trying to do. No matter how much Sunwoo hated Eric getting bullied by someone who wasn’t him, he knew deciding to stay with Somyi would ultimately antagonize Eric the most. Even if he had to clench his hands into tight fists to keep his temper at bay when the other students would laugh at him, which Sunwoo only enjoyed when the pranks and jokes were played out by him.

Eric finally decides that two can play at that game. He's done being the only one suffering, even if he had continued to put Sunwoo’s PE clothes in the garbage and break all of his pencils. Those were only minor offenses compared to the torture Sunwoo was having him endure.

So instead of walking into class alone every morning, early as always, just like Sunwoo, he has a boyfriend this time. Someone who’s much stronger than Sunwoo, someone who’s much taller than Sunwoo, someone who will make Sunwoo’s blood boil. Ahn Giwook, someone who would also protect him from the dangers Somyi brought to him.

Eric loves the way the smug expression falls off of Sunwoo’s face almost immediately. The puffed up attitude the latter had had for the past two weeks somehow gone in a flash. “Stop ogling at my boyfriend, will you?” Eric says, teasingly and he enjoys the way Giwook's grip tightens around his waist. The utter joy Eric feels, being the only one to see Sunwoo's eyes go aflame, hiding his displeasure with a smile. That is his default after all.

Sunwoo was admittedly the most attractive guy Eric has ever come across, but Giwook was easily good-looking too. Even if he couldn’t top Sunwoo, Eric had already achieved his goal and the fun hadn’t even started yet. The only time he got to really mess with Eric was during class or just any time Giwook wasn’t around and as much as Sunwoo loves to brag about his muscles, he hasn’t worked out hard enough to beat Giwook in a fight. A fact that Eric loved to remind Sunwoo of.

As weeks go by of taking turns equally tormenting each other, their affair develops. Something that had felt so foreign before becoming something so natural right before both of their eyes. Neither of them can believe how they had ever gotten this far.

It starts off as something stupid. Sunwoo saying he would never kiss Eric even if he was being held at gunpoint which provokes Eric to kiss him. After that, they would always kiss when no one was looking. Then some new teacher came into class, hearing about Sunwoo and Eric’s past, saying she could “fix” them by pairing them up as partners for a project. It’s funny to Eric at first, as if their relationship needed fixing. Nobody apart from the two of them truly understood the chemistry nor did they have to. Nobody ever had to know that inflicting pain on one another would be their always.

But then again, he couldn’t help but want to thank that hopeless teacher for setting them up. The first night they worked on the project together was the first night Sunwoo fucked him hard into the mattress. Eric having to tell Giwook he fell on his ass going down the stairs, hence the reason he was walking so funny and Sunwoo having to convince Somyi that the hickey on his shoulder definitely came from her.

Each time they got called into the office because of whatever teacher decided they were being too rowdy or too inappropriate, the principal insisted it was because of issues going on at home. That’s one of the ways they fit perfectly together. Sunwoo had mommy issues. His mom walked out on them when he was five and then died two months after he finally tracked her down. Eric had daddy issues. Ever since he came out as gay, his father wouldn't even talk to him unless it was about baseball.

Although, neither of them filled in the missing gap, it felt comforting to know they related to each other in that way.

Even if they’re safe, Eric can’t help but just know this arrangement is bad. But as Sunwoo sweeps him into the empty, dark gym closet, pressing him up against some rusty volleyball equipment, Eric will never not give in.

He loves the feeling of Sunwoo’s pretty hands on his skin, loves the feeling of his plump lips on his and especially loves the hands in his hair. “You know, we should probably stop this. If Giwook finds out, he’ll beat you to a bloody pulp.” Eric remarks with a giggle, just a little breathless. Sunwoo growls, backing him up against the volleyball poles again. It brings them even closer together and Eric lets out a shaky breath.

“Don’t like the way he was looking at you today, baby.” Eric suppresses a moan at the pet name as Sunwoo slips his hands under his uniform. He’s always the one who becomes a mess first, his uniform getting all wrinkly from the way Sunwoo bunches it up all the way to the top of his chest.

“T-Told you to stop doing that, Sunwoo.” Eric whines with halfhearted contempt. It’s no fair when his uniform is always creased, while Sunwoo gets to walk out with his uniform still looking pristine as ever.

Sunwoo never leaves hickeys that will last more than two days because Eric can always just cover up a little with concealer and deny Giwook the privilege of sex, if he asks. As for Eric, he’s relentless. His hatred for Somyi has only grown and as said many times before, he loves pissing Sunwoo off.

So even after Sunwoo rants about how he couldn’t get Somyi off his back regarding the most recent hickey Eric had given him, he dives right in and leaves one right where his shoulder and neck meet. Sunwoo tries to pretend like he doesn’t enjoy it, rolling his eyes as Eric pulls away, but they both know the truth. There’s a hand coming to twist into his hair, pulling his head back.

“You can always just use my concealer, love.” Eric says, it’s his turn to be smug.

“Shut up and get on your knees.” Sunwoo demands and the younger boy pouts at being shut down so quickly. If there’s anything Eric loves, it’s cock in his mouth, so he can’t really complain when that’s what he’s been tasked with. Something he has discovered in the past month, is that he specifically loves Sunwoo’s.

As he goes down on his secret lover, he looks deep into Sunwoo’s half-lidded eyes. Watches as he throws his head back when Eric moans around him. It’s too hot and his pants are becoming unbearably tight just watching Sunwoo.

Eric pulls off with a little “pop”, settling for kitten licks and digging his tongue hard into Sunwoo’s slit. “Fuck, Eric, if you don’t stop I’m going to come all over your pretty face.” Sunwoo threatens, gripping Eric’s hair just a little tighter.

“Is that what you want, daddy?” With just a few jerks of his hand, Sunwoo shoots his release all over Eric’s face, groaning with his eyes shut tight.

“God, you look so good with my come decorating your face.” Sunwoo says once he comes down from his high, pulling Eric up for a kiss.

“Didn’t think your daddy kink was that intense.” Eric teases once they pull apart.

“Only when you say it.” The older boy says calmly while rubbing circles into his hip, it shuts Eric right up.

“How do you want it, hm?” Sunwoo asks, leaning forward to suck small love bites over his collarbones.

“How I always want it.” Eric says expectantly, arms coming up to wrap around Sunwoo’s neck. The latter pulls back with a sigh.

“We’re not at my house, you know I can’t fuck you here. As much as I want to..” Sunwoo trails off, looking to the side and Eric giggles.

“Don’t be so afraid, nobody even comes here around this time.” He says, dusting non existent dust off of Sunwoo’s collar.

“You know that’s not why.” Sunwoo rolls his eyes.

“Every time I leave you sore after something we did during school, you complain to me nonstop, when you literally beg for it, just like how you are right now.” Sunwoo states matter-of-factly with his arms crossed over his chest.

Eric huffs out a remark about how much he hates Sunwoo. The latter kisses his pout away with a smile. “Did you at least bring a condom? I am not cleaning your come off of the dirty floor.” Eric says and when Sunwoo looks around with his eyebrows raised, he lets out a huge groan.

“Fuck you.”

“Yup, I'm getting to it, Ericie.” Eric shoots him a glare, the blush on his cheeks betraying his faux annoyance. Their little dalliance had only been going on for a few months, but it’s safe to say that they’ve always been in love with each other. It's not as though they ever denied it. They just thought their love for teasing the other was some fun way of having a friendly connection. After all, they shared a bond that nobody else could have.

Once both of their pants are pulled down and Sunwoo’s lubed up his dick and Eric’s thighs, their fun begins. But not before Eric can scold Sunwoo for being an absolute weirdo.

“You’re such an asshole. You’re smart enough to carry lube, but never condoms?”

“Yeah! ‘Cause you usually bring them and it’s not like we need condoms, you and I are both clean and I don’t fuck anybody else.” Sunwoo says, a little pissed as he slides in between Eric’s thighs.

Eric continues to argue, even as his breath hitches from the friction. “N-Not even Somyi?”

“No, not since we started this. I think she’s been seeing someone else to fulfill her needs. Why? You let that bastard fuck you?” Sunwoo growls, thrusting a little harder. There’s something that brings delight within Eric when Sunwoo’s jealous.

“We only had sex once and it was the day before our project.” Eric moans, patting himself on the back for sounding so coherent for once. He can feel Sunwoo grin behind him.

“Oh, so that’s why you were so loose, huh? You’re such a little slut.” There’s a big slap that resounds through the room and Eric cries out, holding onto one of the poles for leverage.

There’s no bickering after that, only wet noises and the sound of Eric’s and Sunwoo’s moans mixing together. Eric is in the middle of relishing how bruising Sunwoo’s grip on his hip is when they hear keys jingling. When their eyes meet, panic is read on both of their faces, but soon Sunwoo’s panic turns into a sly grin.

Eric glares at him, trying to tell him with his eyes that they should start to put their clothes back on, but Sunwoo just grabs him and hides them behind a ball rack. “Sunwoo, what the fuck are you doing?” Eric whisper yells, giving him his most threatening look but of course, that never works on Sunwoo.

“Hush, if you don’t want to get caught, baby.” Sunwoo bends him over and slowly slips between Eric’s thighs again, the younger boy sucking in a gasp. Even as the door opens, it’s still mostly dark and while Eric’s mind clouds with pleasure again, there’s still lots of worries hiding in the back of his brain.

Sunwoo seems to be thoroughly enjoying this like the exhibitionist freak that he is. Eric reminds himself to slap Sunwoo when this is all over. He looks between all the basketballs to catch a glimpse of who could be in here at this time and it’s the janitor. The old man’s always got some headphones on and it brings just a little relief to Eric knowing that he probably can’t hear them. Nevertheless, Eric still tries to be as quiet as possible as the pace quickens.

“I wish you could see how pretty your thighs look around my cock.” Sunwoo whispers into his ear, nibbling on his lobe. Eric lets out an unforgiving loud whine, quickly slapping a hand over his mouth as he watches the janitor slowly approach them in horror.

This doesn’t seem to deter Sunwoo as he keeps going and Eric wants to cry as the old man keeps getting closer, a firm hand covering his mouth. All the tension in Eric’s body leaves once he realizes that the janitor’s just grabbing the little basket of tennis balls, head bopping to whatever music is playing in his ears.

It’s not until he’s gone that Sunwoo loses it all, going even faster. Eric mewls every time their cocks touch, feeling extremely overwhelmed. Sunwoo just keeps thrusting harder, leaning down so that they’re completely connected and all over each other. Sunwoo shoves two of his fingers into Eric's mouth and he just feels so full. There's drool and spit soaking his chin as he sucks around those pretty fingers, moaning obscenely loud in the big, dark space they're in.

"Does my baby love being stuffed full?" Sunwoo asks, licking behind his ear and Eric's whole body shudders as he starts to cry. The older boy only takes his fingers out to let Eric speak.

“Sunwoo, Sunwoo, please, I’m gonna come.” Eric cries out, only the sound of Sunwoo panting and grunting into his ear.

Sunwoo begins to kiss down his back. A signal that Eric’s allowed to let himself go and he does, coming all over his tummy with a high pitched whine. Sunwoo comes right after, spilling all over his thighs and the floor. Once they both come down from their highs, Eric does the first thing he promised himself he would do and slaps Sunwoo.

“What the hell was that for?!” Sunwoo shouts, grabbing his cheek.

“We’re never fucking at school again, asshole.” Eric glares, pulling tissues out of his pocket so that he can clean them both up.>/p>

“Babe, no.” Sunwoo whines, still sat pathetically on the floor. The younger boy doesn’t have the energy to stay mad if he’s being honest, but he likes to keep the act up.

“You were so hot. Every time you got scared, your thighs would clench so tight. You were being so good for me.” Sunwoo encourages and Eric sighs contentedly. He loves being praised and Sunwoo knows it. He knows Eric best.

As they both sneak out of the gym closet, Sunwoo steals a kiss. “You know, I’d really love it if you’d let me eat you out under the bleachers.” The idea makes Eric shiver with pleasure, but he declines nonetheless.

“In your dreams.” They smile at each other as they both part ways.

Time passes and they slowly learn that they don’t have to be the ones to break off their separate relationships. Somyi breaks up with Sunwoo in the nicest way possible and Eric catches Giwook screwing some chick in the locker rooms. They are now single and free to openly mingle with each other.

It starts off slow as to not surprise all of their peers and fellow classmates. They continue to tease each other, but then Sunwoo will find a candy bar on his desk and Eric will wonder where all the flowers keep coming from. There’s no real surprise behind it, Eric knows the various roses and peonies are from Sunwoo. He watches from the window as Sunwoo picks them from the bushes, trying his best to be sneaky.

With their graduation coming up in two months, they finally decide to make it official official and introduce each other to their respective parents. Sunwoo’s dad is perfectly accepting and even cooks them dinner after the news is brought upon him. The best part is when he brings out an album of Sunwoo’s baby photos, ignoring the mentioned boy’s protests to not show him. However, the experience is quite different for Eric’s parents.

“Eric, that’s lovely!” His mom says, a smile breaking out onto her face, which surprises Eric, considering she’s always cursed Sunwoo for leaving even the smallest bruise on her precious son. His father remains indifferent, staring Sunwoo down and for the first time in the twelve years Eric’s known him, he looks apprehensive. Eric tries his best to stay calm, but he’s seconds away from a panic attack.

“Sunwoo.. May I speak to you alone?” His father says and all the hairs on Eric’s arms and legs stand. Sunwoo looks over to Eric, still anxious and Eric, even after knowing him all his life, knows he’s unpredictable as ever, so he just squeezes his hand for support.

“Oh, Sungmin, don’t scare the poor boy off.” His wife warns, almost scolding. Sungmin raises his eyebrows and nods, gesturing for Sunwoo to come outside with him. His boyfriend hesitantly leaves with him, constantly looking back at Eric.

His mother must have seen him shaking violently, feeling a soft hand running through his hair. “It’s okay, honey. Despite what you think, your father’s actually very protective over you. You’re our only child after all.” She always knows what to say and Eric tries his best not to burst into tears.

Although, he acts like the lack of affection from his father ever since he came out doesn’t have a big affect on him, it does. That’s why he’s always top of the class and an award-winning athlete, so if he can’t carry on the family blood, he can at least make up for that part. His mother brings Eric to face her, hands on both sides of his face as she lands a kiss on his forehead. “Don’t cry, okay? Everything will be fine. I’ve been trying real hard to get your dad to realize how you’re fine for who you are. He still loves you, he’s just taking time to process it.” She says, a hand rubbing his cheek.

The sound of a sliding glass door opening and closing causes him to sit up straight, distancing himself from his mother. Sunwoo walks into the living room with a smile and it scares Eric even more. “Dad..” He says, looking between the two of them. “What did you say to him?” Eric asks, majorly concerned with how happy Sunwoo suddenly looks.

“You can ask him yourself. Go take him home, it’s late.” His father says, leaning into the couch, but as Eric looks at the clock, it’s only six in the afternoon. Eric huffs, standing up and heading straight to the door. Sunwoo just smiles at the two parents and bows. “Thank you, Mr. and Mrs. Sohn!”

“Please, call me Boram. Don’t forget to grab some cookies on the way out!” Boram says, cuddling up next to her husband. Sunwoo happily does as he’s told and goes to find Eric leaning against his car. He’s pouting with his arms crossed.

“Baby.” Sunwoo says, making his presence known and Eric tries to ignore how the ends of his mouth curl up a little at the pet name.

“What did my dad say to you?” He asks immediately, standing straight to face Sunwoo.

“It’s a secret!” Sunwoo sing songs and Eric groans, playfully punching him in the shoulder.

“Whatever, shut up and get in the car.” Eric grumbles, opening up his car and getting into the driver’s seat.

“What’d you just say to me?” Sunwoo asks with one of his eyebrows raised. God, he’s sexy.

“You are not about to punish me in my car in my parents’ driveway. I’ll kill you.” Eric disregards how hot Sunwoo looks and shuts the car door closed.

And Eric’s right, instead of Sunwoo punishing him in the driveway, it’s in the fucking parking lot of Baskin Robbins before they go inside. “You’re so annoying, Jesus.” Eric says, once they’ve ordered their ice cream and are eating happily.

“I think I did you so good, you lost brain cells. My name’s Sunwoo, sweetie.” Sunwoo laughs as Eric flips him off.

As he watches Eric eat his ice cream, he thinks about the conversation he had with Eric’s dad.

“You hurt Eric in any way and I’ll have your head. I mean it.” Sungmin says, looking him dead in the eyes. Sunwoo just nods confidently, trying not to show any weaknesses in front of this man.

“Treat him well, alright? He deserves it.” When he says this, there’s a sad glint in his eyes and Sunwoo knows. Of course, he knows, but he doesn’t comment on it. “And one more thing,” Sunwoo looks up with his eyebrows raised in curiosity.

“Don’t tell Eric this ‘cause he’ll get embarrassed, but he’s super ticklish. I think he’ll start crying even if you poke his stomach a little.” Sungmin says with a little grin and Sunwoo doubles over in laughter.“Thanks, I’ll keep that in mind.” He says, once he can breathe again. Maybe, Eric’s dad isn’t so scary.

“Why do you have that goofy grin on your face? Eat your ice cream, it’s melting.” Eric scolds, digging his spoon into Sunwoo’s ice cream. Sunwoo just thinks about how he can’t wait to tickle him when they’re both alone.

Notes:

this isn't even half as deranged as all the other sunric fics.. i promise to bring fluff to the sunric tag next time! but haha this time sunwoo's getting his pencils broken instead of the other way around

what do u think of the way sunwoo and eric got together :P i personally think its bad because cheating is a no no!!!!! but theyre happy together :> and neither of their significant others were majorly affected so maybe.. it works out in that way
