Work Text:
Riddle’s eyes shot open as he felt a hand on his mouth, grey eyes darting in the darkness to try and catch the culprit. As his eyes adjusted, he took in Floyd’s amused smile, his free hand covering his own mouth as he tried his hardest not to laugh. The dorm leader rolled his eyes, smacking the other gently to signal him to let go of his mouth before sitting up. He glanced towards Silver, then Sebek beside him, trying to calculate how late that must have meant it was.
“You can’t be here, Floyd.” The redhead spat in a near-whisper, turning his attention back towards him.
“Aww, but I’ve got a surprise for you~” He said a little too loudly, prompting Riddle to cover the eel’s mouth with his own hand as he shot a desperate glance back towards the two members of the Equestrian Club sharing a tent with him. The teal-haired boy stuck his tongue out, playfully licking the inside of the redhead’s palm in an attempt to let go. While it was gross, that wouldn’t cause him to falter.
“You need to go back to your tent.” He sighed, finally allowing his hand to drop.
“But Jade wanted me to come give you the surprise.” Floyd whined. The other twin’s name caused him to tense up slightly. He’d been dating Jade in secret for over a month now, and while he could hardly blame Floyd for knowing about it given how close they were, it still felt strange to hear him talk about Jade and surprises in the dead of night.
“What kind of surprise?” Riddle asked, crossing his arms over his chest.
“You’ll have to come see, Goldfishie~” He beamed.
Of course Floyd wouldn’t tell him. He’d always been the brother that was far more difficult to get along with. “Forget it, then. Go back to your own club.”
Floyd whined once more. “But Jade and I worked so hard!”
“I said no , Floyd.”
The twin pouted, mismatched eyes glancing towards the entrance of the tent. “ Fine .” He muttered, getting up from where he’d folded himself up small enough that he wouldn’t have distrubed any of the sleeping people inside. Riddle leaned back, not bothering to watch the other as he carefully maneuvered his way through bodies and legs, closing his eyes to try and will himself back to sleep.
Curiosity tugged at him, though he tried to push it away. Still, the thoughts about what Jade could have planned—what Floyd would have helped with—kept wandering back into his thoughts, causing him to toss and turn. Riddle chewed on the inside of his cheek, finally letting out a sigh before unzipping his sleeping bag and moving to grab his gym uniform from his bag in the corner. If he was lucky, Floyd wouldn’t be asleep by the time he got there. If he was unlucky, then he could pretend he never gave in and went over there.
Stepping out of the tent, his eyes immediately landed on the still burning embers of the firepit, then traced the long legs sitting on a stump nearby. Floyd beamed at him once more, letting out a chuckle. “I knew you’d come, Goldfishie~” He teased, grabbing a small lantern from beside him and holding his hand out towards him.
The redhead’s eyes narrowed on his hand and he crossed his arms over his chest once more. “Where are we going?”
“I said it’s a surprise. Trust me a little~” He shook his hand, once again trying to insist that he hold onto it. Riddle rolled his eyes, extending a hand to signal the other to lead the way. No matter how touchy Floyd was, it would still feel too strange to hold his hand. He was too loud. Too annoying. So not Jade . Even if his boyfriend had helped orchestrate whatever was about to happen, there was no way he would have wanted something as intimate as that. Still, the Octavinelle student seemed to brush it off quickly and he turned on his heel, humming as he swung the dim electrical lantern back and forth while he walked.
The walk was mostly quiet aside from Floyd’s humming and Riddle’s prodding, but the twin gave up nothing in return. He’d simply turn back towards the dorm leader, hold a finger to his mouth, and grin even larger than he had before. He refused to even admit where they were going.
Riddle tried to piece together the puzzle on his own upon realizing well into the walk that Floyd would die by this secret. The conclusion that he’d settled on was that Jade was there. But if that were the case, why wouldn’t he have revealed himself before? Would he have been too afraid of the consequences of breaking the rules? Certainly Riddle would have given him a stern talking to, but he couldn’t have imagined that it would be any worse than that. Jade was too good at calming him down. He’d smile, tuck a lock of hair behind Riddle’s ear, and tell him anything he wanted to hear. He’d apologize if the redhead had thought he’d done something wrong. He’d kiss his cheek and help him as best he could if he was struggling through a problem on their homework. Sometimes he’d just stay quiet and watch as he vented about the troublesome first years in Heartslabyul. Somehow, despite his previous distrust, Jade Leech had become a crutch.
The two stepped into a large clearing and he couldn’t help but glance up towards the sky, taking in the twinkling of stars no longer hidden by the light pollution from the town near Night Raven College. The corner of his lip curled into a smile as he followed the eel to the center of the clearing. When the two of them stopped they both remained quiet, though he could feel Floyd’s eyes on him.
The other teenager took a couple steps towards him, catching Riddle’s attention before the twin cupped his cheeks, tilting his head up as he placed a kiss on his lips. Grey eyes widened and his heart leapt to his throat, threatening to choke him until the short kiss was broken once more. Riddle’s cheeks reddened in anger, prompting the twin to chuckle as he stared down at the Heartslabyul prefect. The redhead gave him a shove, wiping at his mouth with his sleeve as he took a step backwards. “What do you think you’re doing?!” He spat out once more, voice no longer constricted by the sleeping club members next to him.
“Eh~? But Jade told me to.”
“If you think for one second that I’m going to fall for that, Flo—”
“Do you want me to call him~?” The teal-haired boy unzipped the fanny pack around his chest, pulling out his phone to show he was serious.
Riddle rolled his eyes, though he was quick to snatch it from the twin’s hands. “ I’ll call him.” He snapped, giving the other twin a glare once more before turning his attention to the bright light from his phone. He turned it on speakerphone, a smug smile on his lips as it rang. One ring. Then two. Three. And then Jade picked up.
“Oya, oya~ I thought that would take longer.” Jade’s voice on the other line caused the butterflies in his stomach to flutter a whirlwind inside of him, but he had to remain strong.
“It’s me, Jade.”
“I suppose I should have expected that. Is everything alright?”
“If you would call Floyd kissing me alright .” He snapped, grey eyes once again narrowing towards the twin in front of him.
Jade chuckled on the other end of the phone. “I supposed that would be needed, yes.” Brows furrowed together and he took a step back from Floyd as he unhooked the eel plush from his bag, making it face the redhead. “Oya~ Did he not tell you yet?”
Riddle felt his confidence begin to shake. Biting down on the inside of his cheek, he shifted uncomfortably from one foot to the other. “...did you actually tell Floyd to kiss me?” His voice was quiet and dejected, a disappointment washing over him.
“There’s no need to look so sad, Riddle. I’d never force you to do anything you didn’t want to.” Wait, look? Jade chuckled into the phone. “Floyd, would you?” The other twin moved over, pressing the eel plush’s mouth to Riddle’s cheek while making a kissing noise. He seemed particularly pleased with himself. “Are you understanding it now, Riddle?”
“...not really.” And honestly, he wasn’t really enjoying this feeling of being a pawn in their game.
“Eeeh~? But you’re so smart, Goldfishie!” Floyd piped up, holding the eel plush to his own cheek. “And Jade, the little mackerel, and I worked so hard on it, too!”
“What does Deuce have to do with this…?”
“We asked Deuce to hel—”
“He put in these little cameras!” Once again, Floyd held the eel plush up to Riddle, pointing at the eyes that matched Jade’s perfectly. His boyfriend laughed through the speakerphone, not caring that he’d been interrupted by his energetic brother. “We said that he wanted to enjoy the trip too but he wasn’t allowed to come, so Mackerel agreed~ Isn’t that nice, Goldfishie?”
“I still don’t understand how Floyd kissing me has anything to do with putting cameras in a stuffed animal.”
“Ah, we chose that one for a particular use.” Jade explained. “Do you see how it’s mouth opens?” Suddenly, the pieces started clicking together. “Floyd was nice enough to offer to help you feel less... lonely while I was away.”
“Absolutely not .”
“Ehh?” Floyd whined. “Why not?”
“I’m not doing... those types of things with my boyfriend’s brother.”
“Ah, it won’t just be Floyd. I fully intend to stay here on the phone the whole time and watch what I cannot participate in.”
“How far do you think I’d be going with Floyd?!” Riddle could feel his cheeks redden as he stared down at the phone in disbelief.
“As far as you’d like.” Jade chuckled and the redhead could imagine that manipulative smile. “Though I must admit that I was hoping to enjoy some of it as well.”
Riddle shifted awkwardly from one foot to the other, glancing towards Floyd who was now just pacing around the small clearing without a care in the world. “ I could have just done it myself, you know.” He said quietly, hoping the twin near him didn’t hear.
“But it’ll be more fun for me to watch this way, don’t you think? It’ll be easier to imagine, if you will.”
The redhead’s shoulders slumped, grey eyes moving back towards the sky as he cursed himself for even contemplating doing this. “ Floyd .” He finally called out, rubbing at his eye in annoyance as the eel bounced back over towards him. “I’ll do it. But if I say stop you have to stop.”
Floyd’s face lit up and his arms wrapped around Riddle’s shoulders, placing most of his weight onto the smaller boy as he chuckled. “I promise, I promise~” His cheeks reddened at the closeness, unsure how he’d be able to manage doing something like this.
When the boy pulled away, he set the lantern down and took off his jacket, mismatched eyes searching the area for something before bounding off towards it. “I hate you for this.” He muttered into the phone, prompting Jade to chuckle.
“Is that so? Well, I hope that you’ll have more fun with Floyd than you think you will.”
“I’d rather it have been you .”
Riddle’s boyfriend chuckled once more. “Me too. Though I supposed I’m partially to blame for that.”
“Maybe next time you’ll think twice about trying to circumvent the rules about you being a sports club.”
“Doubtful, but I’ll take it into consideration.”
Floyd came back with a small piece of wood, placing the eel plush on it a short distance away so that the cameras would be able to pick the two of them up from a sitting position. As he sat there, testing the position, he yelled towards the phone. “Is that okay, Jade?”
“Everything looks perfect on my end, Floyd.”
And with that, Floyd’s attentioned turned towards Riddle. A hand extended out towards him, making grabby hands to urge him over. When he gave Floyd’s hand a wary glance, he smiled once more. “It’s alright, Goldfishie~”
“Just pretend it’s me, Riddle.” Jade joined in.
The redhead sighed, grabbing Floyd’s hand. None of this felt right. Normal couples didn’t allow their boyfriend to sleep with their twin brother just because they were separated for a little while. He should have known by now that the Leech twins weren’t normal, though. It wasn’t just Floyd and his eccentric personality, but Jade and his scheming behavior as well. It was their strange dependency on each other. And somehow he’d gotten roped into that.
Floyd’s fingers interlocked with his, though he didn’t go any further than that for a long while. He watched carefully as Riddle mulled over what was happening in his mind and he had to admit, he was thankful for it. It wasn’t really like Floyd to be patient or to even hold back on getting his hands on him, but he just grabbed the other hand, holding both the Heartslabyul’s prefect with his phone sandwiched between one of them. “You okay?” He finally asked, prompting Riddle to nod before getting to his knees.
The teal-haired boy’s hand moved to brush lightly at Riddle’s cheek, causing him to jump a little in surprise. “Aha~ Don’t worry, Goldfishie.” He whispered before leaning in to kiss the smaller boy gently on the lips. Riddle was slow to kiss back—still unsure of the whole situation—but he eventually leaned into it. Though, as soon as he gave an inch, Floyd took a mile. The eel grabbed Riddle by his waist, pulling him forward so he was leaning on him. The prefect let out a small yelp, eyes wide as Floyd let out a laugh.
A hand moved to brush a lock of Riddle’s hair behind his ear—something that was so distinctly Jade that when Floyd kissed him again, there was no hesitation. For a moment, he thought that maybe, just maybe he’d be able to get away with actually pretending that the boy in front of him was his boyfriend. And when the taller boy’s tongue slipped through his lips, massaging his own, his mind grew hazy enough that perhaps, he didn’t even care .
That was, until Jade’s chuckle interrupted them from the phone on the ground. “Oya, you seem to be enjoying yourself, Riddle~” He teased, causing the redhead to pull away from the kiss to glare towards the phone. Floyd’s knuckle rested on Riddle’s chin, gently pulling him back. He took in the gentle smirk on the twin’s lips, the half-lidded eyes, taking note of just how much the other seemed to be enjoying this, and the uneasiness washed over him once more. “Floyd, how about you play with his nipples, hm?”
“H-Huh?!” Riddle’s gaze shot back to the phone once more. It wasn’t like he hadn’t expected that this was what the twins had meant by their plan, but it was still strange to hear. Still, Floyd’s thumbs moved underneath his partially-open jumpsuit, running along his nipples through his shirt.
“Ah, don’t tell me you aren’t having fun?” Jade asked as his brother assailed his neck with kisses.
“That’s not—” Then a small bite sent shockwaves through his system, causing Floyd to laugh into the crook of his neck. The words floated away as the twin underneath him unzipped the black gym uniform a little, snaking his hand underneath the red shirt nearly hidden under Night Raven College’s jumpsuit. The twin pinched at his nipple carefully, chuckling when Riddle gasped and brought his hand up to bite at his knuckle.
“Ehh~? Is Goldfishie getting hard already~?” Floyd taunted, his hand moving to rub at the beginning of Riddle’s erection through the jumpsuit.
“Sh-Shut up.” He managed to get out, trying to bite back laboured breaths.
“Move here, alright~? We don’t want Jade to miss out.” Floyd moved so that Riddle would be sitting between his legs facing the stuffed toy. He bit down on his lower lip, taking in the empty spot on top of his jacket before finally relenting. The twin then unzipped the jumpsuit more, slipping his hand underneath the waistband of the redhead’s briefs as he began to rub at his erection more. Riddle’s fingers dug into the eel’s thighs, most of his weight leaning against him as he tried to hide his face from the camera.
“You’re so cute~” Floyd cooed, nipping gently at his ear.
“Floyd, are you ready?” Even Riddle could hear the change in tone in Jade’s voice. He’d heard it before—the breathiness that came when he was watching Riddle carefully, taking in whatever lewd act he’d suggested in the confines of the dorm leader’s room. Somehow, Jade had this power over him where he would do nearly anything he asked. He’d felt unsure about it in the beginning but it had quickly faded, only to now be coming back full force as Floyd touched him.
“I think so~ Are you ready, Goldfishie?”
“F-For what…?” He asked, uncertain about what was about to happen. The twin patted his back, signaling him to sit up so he could stand up. Riddle couldn’t help but take note of the sudden rush of disappointment, though he tried to shake it off. It’s just because I can hear Jade too. He insisted. It didn’t matter how much Floyd sounded like Floyd, so long as he could somewhat pretend it what is boyfriend.
“Riddle, if you could undress, it would make this easier.” Jade instructed, causing the smaller boy to nod a little. As strange as this felt, a part of him still wanted to do this. He wanted to help Jade get off if this is what it meant. He didn’t want Jade to get bored of him so soon. Riddle nervously slipped off the jumpsuit, then his underwear, though he sat there with his red shirt on, trying to keep himself at least a little protected from the cool night air. “ All of it.” The redhead pressed his lips tightly together, pausing for just a moment before taking the shirt off as well.
Floyd plucked the plush from its spot, bringing it over to where he’d been sitting previously. When he’d sat back down, Riddle could hear the unmistakable sound of his fanny pack unzipping and he turned to give the other a curious glance. His body went cold as he took in the bottle of lube he’d pulled out from the patch. “Did you two really assume that this would work?”
“We’d hoped.” Jade chimed in, a chuckle escaping his lips. “Try not to worry too much about it and relax, Riddle.”
The other twin reached out his hands on either side of Riddle, trying to prompt him to lean back against him once more. He hesitated for a moment, taking in Floyd’s happy-go-lucky expression. Grey eyes moved downward, the realization that this could go further than he’d originally thought Jade would dare finally sinking in as he took note of the boy’s erection, causing his already-warm cheeks to redden even more. I could stop this. He tried to tell himself. A hand rested gently on the redhead’s shoulders, the back of Floyd’s fingers brushing against his cheek to pull him out of his spiraling mindset. “It’s alright, Goldfishie.” He whispered, leaning in to kiss his cheek.
In all honesty, he hadn’t expected Floyd to be particularly soft with his actions. The redhead watched the other as he moved back to his previous position, odd-eyes glancing back at him without a care in the world. It felt strange to be comforted by Floyd Leech—all he normally seemed to want to do was add on to his uneasiness, but the consistent assurances had been a nice change. Perhaps they were really the only reason that he ended up leaning back against him once more, chewing on the inside of his cheek as he watched the twin squirt some lube into his hand.
The teal-haired boy began rubbing his erection once more, causing Riddle’s toes to curl as he shifted against him. Floyd let out a low chuckle, kissing the back of his head. However, once it was fully coated, he pulled away, eliciting a small whine from the redhead. Floyd brought the gulping eel plus around once more, this time squirting into it. “Wh-What are you planning on doing…?”
“Shh~” Floyd whispered before covering his dick with the plush.
It was a lewd sight to behold. The stuffed animal covered his erection and the Octavinelle student began pumping at it, changing up the pressure of his hands. At first it felt odd—there was the distinct feeling of plush still evident as it bobbed up and down on him, but his whole body soon began to feel like it was melting once more. He dug his nails into Floyd’s pants, letting out a desperate gasp. He could hardly hear Jade’s own moans emanating from the phone, though it seemed he was also having fun back in the Octavinelle dorms.
“J-Jade, I’m gonna—” He cut himself off, writhing a little as he felt the warmth spread throughout his body. Neither twin responded aside from heavy breathing or a low chuckle. Riddle leaned forward as he felt himself release into the stuffed animal, his body shaking as Floyd continued to pump him gently. His lips found the back of his neck, kissing his spine gently as he slowly regained his sense of self after the orgasm. The eel’s teeth sunk into his shoulder, causing shivers to run up his spine.
“Floyd, shall we?” Jade asked, his voice breathy over the speakerphone.
Riddle didn’t need to question what that question meant. He glanced over his shoulder, watching as his boyfriend’s brother moved to place the eel off on its perch once more before returning to stand over him once again. “Are you ready, Goldfishie?” He asked as grey eyes peered up towards him. The smaller boy could feel his heart pounding inside of his ears, but no matter how much he’d told himself he wouldn’t sleep with Floyd, the words wouldn’t come out. Instead, he nodded.
Floyd’s hand moved under his chin, grabbing it gently as he moved down to place a kiss on the Heartslabyul prefect’s lips. He leaned into it, his hand resting on the teal-haired boy’s wrist as he kissed him back. Floyd lingered against his lips, eyes closed as he caught his own breath. Riddle leaned in, giving him a gentle peck. “It’ll be alright.” He said quietly, mimicking the phrase that the eel had kept repeating to him throughout the night. Floyd smirked, though he let go of the boy’s chin and stood up straight, peering down at him for a moment before moving behind him.
“Hands and knees, Riddle.” Jade instructed. The redhead nodded, though as he did so, he couldn’t help but note how naked he felt. It had been one thing when Floyd had been covering his back, his arms wrapped around him, but now he felt so exposed. He heard the familiar squeeze of the bottle and the twin kneeled down behind him. Floyd leaned down to kiss the small of his back once more, centering him ever so slightly before a lubricated finger entered him.
The redhead let out a gasp, fingers curling in the grass beneath him as the boy pressed against his inner walls. Grey eyes locked onto the camera, wondering what Jade’s face was like back home in his dorm. Was this everything he had hoped it would be? Or was there even just a hint of jealousy over his twin brother fucking him in his stead. When Floyd put in another finger, Riddle dropped from his hands to his elbows, already feeling the weakness in his legs after what had happened with the plush.
He could feel Floyd poking at his entrance and his heart began to race. Riddle closed his eyes tight, trying to imagine his boyfriend behind him instead. However, each time he conjured up the image in his mind, it would quickly dissipate and the reality of Floyd being the one fucking him settled in once more. His small body shuddered as Floyd entered him and even he could hear the eel letting out a satisfied groan. One hand moved down the small of Riddle’s sweat-soaked back as he savored the tightness before both hands eventually grasped tightly onto his hips.
Despite how soft his assurances had been, when Floyd started thrusting, it was rough . Riddle’s eyes crossed, his mind going blank each time he penetrated deep into him. Jade’s own moans were loud and clear through the phone next to his head, but he could no longer muster up the concentration to even try to imagine it was his boyfriend instead.
Jade was the first one to climax. Riddle’s half-lidded eyes stared at the phone as he listened to his boyfriend edging closer and closer, wondering how his face looked as he watched his brother fuck his boyfriend. Was he really imagining that it was him? Or did he simply get off to the idea of another boy sleeping with him? Through the haze, the redhead couldn’t even begin to think of finding an answer to that.
His boyfriend’s moans and subsequent orgasm only pushed him closer to his limit. Floyd’s name escaped his lips, causing the twin to hesitate for just a moment. However, his grip on the smaller boy’s hips tightened and there was a newfound vigor inside of him as he thrust as hard as he could. A hand snaked around his hips, beginning to jack him off. Riddle’s stomach tied into knots, mind going completely numb as he nearly collapsed from the excitement of getting off once more.
However, the teal-haired boy kept going and he knew he had to try his best to keep his legs from giving out. He moved to grab Riddle by the wrists, pulling them backwards to help support the boy as he continued to thrust. It all felt like too much—like if Floyd were to keep going, something inside of him was going to explode.
He didn’t need to get to that part, though. Finally, Floyd came inside of him and he rode out the orgasm, coming to a full stop with Riddle still partially suspended by his arms. The twin sat back down on his heels, pulling the redhead back onto his lap as gently as he could to shower his neck with light kisses. Riddle tried to catch his breath, but he simply relaxed into the twin’s body, mind still reeling from what had just happened.
Jade’s laugh cut off the moment. “I see you two are having fun so I’ll leave you to it.” The redhead rolled his eyes. “I hope you had fun, Riddle.”
Riddle thought for a moment, uncertain if he’d have called this endeavor fun . While he’d cum—twice, even—it wasn’t something he had previously considered. If it wasn’t for the strange pressure he felt from the twins, would he have even agreed to do it? Still, eventually he nodded, and he could hear his boyfriend chuckle once more through the speakerphone. He finally moved off of Floyd’s lap, feeling him slide out of him as he crawled to the phone to hang up.
He sat there in the grass for a long while, grey-blue eyes staring off into the dark treeline as he tried to weave together the potential consequences of his actions. It would certainly be one thing for Sebek and Silver to have found out that he had snuck out, but a whole different thing if Vargas had. Plus, there was always the possibility of this having been a test that he had ultimately failed.
A quietness drifted over the two of them, though he could feel Floyd’s eyes searing onto his bare back. Riddle bit down on the inside of his cheek, suddenly uncomfortable under his gaze. He moved to grab his clothes, no longer safe from the cool air. Still, the teal-haired boy simply watched him until he was fully dressed. “We should get going.” He muttered, still feeling rather naked.
He extended a hand down towards the other, though when the twin grabbed it, he pulled Riddle down with a yelp escaping his lips. Floyd pulled him close to his chest tightly before falling back onto the ground, “Just a little longer, Goldfishie.” He cooed, running a hand through his sweaty hair. Riddle could feel his cheeks warm, though he kept himself hidden in the other’s side for a long time. That quietness returned and the two of them laid there for a long while.
When he finally came out from hiding, he rested his chin on the eel’s chest, watching him stare up towards the sky above them. He almost felt like an afterthought as his hands continued to brush through his hair with how strangely lost in thought Floyd looked. “Floyd?” When he broke the silence, the twin’s mismatched eyes glanced back down towards him, though he didn’t bother saying anything. “Why would you do that?”
“Do what?” He asked, letting out a yawn.
“Sleep with your brother’s boyfriend.”
Floyd let out a dry laugh and he moved his attention back towards the sky. “Because I liked you first, Goldfishie.”
Those words caused his cheeks to burn, though he didn’t try to shy away and hide from the other. It was a rare sight to see Floyd Leech so calm, maybe even a little nervous at the sudden confession. That carefree attitude was no longer there, nor was it the moody one he was sometimes met with. For maybe the first time, Riddle couldn’t help but wonder if he was seeing something few people got to see.
“Does Jade know you like me?” He managed to get out. Floyd only nodded.
Riddle shifted and leaned up to kiss the twin. It was slow at first, as uncertain as he was. But Floyd had been so attentive, so reassuring. And there was something that countered the scheming Jade had done for this whole situation to happen, making him feel better about it overall. And while he knew that Floyd could be equally as cruel, right here and right now, he wasn’t. Right now, illuminated by the stars and the dim lamp, he wondered why he hadn’t given Floyd a chance earlier.
