“Are you ready?” Sebastian asked as they pulled up to the entrance to the red carpet.
Emma knew that Sebastian knew she was nervous. This wasn’t her first time on the red carpet. Chris had taken her as his date to the Civil War premiere in May and that had been fine. She’d worn a pretty dress and stood back while her brother posed for pictures. This would be different.
“I want to show you off to the world,” he’d murmured one morning after his agent had called to ask if he’d wanted to attend the Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 premiere.
So now she was attending a premiere with someone. She’d be with Sebastian as he posed for photographs and reporters shouted questions. More than that, they would be announcing to the world that they were a they. Was she ready for that?
“Ready as I’ll ever be,” Emma replied with a smile and a wink.
Sebastian grinned as turned to open the door, stepping out of the car to the screams of fans.
Sebastian gave them a smile before turning back to the car and holding his hand out for Emma. Placing her hand in his, Emma allowed Sebastian to help her out of the car.
The camera flashes were almost blinding but Emma had been ready for it, flashing a smile of her own as she stood there in her green dress.
Sebastian kept hold of her hand as he led them down the red carpet, waving to fans and stopping periodically for pictures or the occasional autograph.
Some photographers shouted for Sebastian to step away from Emma for solo photographs but he ignored them, never letting go of her hand.
