“WHAT ARE YOU DOING??!?!”
the party sat atop the barbatos statue, nevermind the limited space in there. childe stood at the statue’s fingertips, leaning dangerously close to the edge with a certain traveler pushing him closer to the ledge.
“it’s a ritual, stupid” aether tried to shove him again, but unfortunately the ginger (lmao ginger) was stronger than he seems and kept a firm stance on the statue’s hands “now go jump off before I slit your fucking throat.”
“what kind of ritual requires me to die!!??!?” he gawked, hands flailing in the air as the blonde pushes him further to his demise.
“I’M TOO YOUNG TO DIE!” childe had a look of horror on his face as his gaze falls on qiqi. as if on cue, she pulls out stacks and stacks of noelle’s specialty pancakes and bennett’s fried eggs from seemingly out of nowhere, as if it’s supposed to assure him somehow.
“you’ll be alright, little cutie!” lisa laughed, sparks of electricity surrounding her figure “besides, you’d rather die of falling than electrocution, wouldn’t you? especially with that hydro vision of yours….”
childe’s shrieks worsened as he desperately tries to get off the statue, but his attempts failed as the traveler blocked his way,
“calm down fatui boy.” aether groans as he successfully pushes the taller boy to the ground.
he brought his hands up in a prayer which was accompanied by childe’s cries and screams for help (which deemed useless, as it was followed by a loud thud soon after).
dozens of shooting stars littered the sky, two of them in particular shining a bright gold.
one of the stars whacked qiqi in the face as she lets out a monotonous ‘ouch’ whereas the other falls in front of the blonde.
a clad in green appeared before him, surrounded by stardust as a gentle breeze sways his twin braids in the wind.
“ah, traveler! a pleasure seeing you here~” venti said in a singing tone, ignoring the traveler in question currently violently shaking, drowning in tears of joy. “would you be so kind to let this bard join your tra-“
“YES.” aether didn’t let the bard finish as he lurched forward and pulled him in a tight hug, still sobbing (a little too aggressively), venti didn’t seem to mind as he returned the embrace.
“rex lapis…….” paimon dropped her bag of mora and plate of sticky honey roast as she approaches childe who was laying on his own pool of blood.
she then looks up the statue to see a (presumably) dead qiqi with a piece of constellation in her hands as lisa observes between the dead zombie child and the sobbing honorary knight of mondstadt, looking amused.
“….what in god’s name happened here??!”
