Adrien, contradictory to popular belief had a lot of free time but the catch was that he wasn’t allowed to spend it outside. Over the years he picked up a lot of skills but one of the go-to calming ones was crotcheting, he has made all kinds of things, from ugly sweaters that Gabriel got an allergic reaction to, to stuffed toys.
He had made Luna from Sailor moon, Kero from Card captor Sakura and a simplistic spiderman. You could say he was good at it, he would say he was nothing in comparison to his favorite Youtuber, he learned everything from her, even how to make those plushies. You could say he was a fan.
“So Adrien where did you get that ladybug from?” Lila asked pointing to the little ladybug charm he made yesterday.
“oh I made it” he said, trying to brush her off.
“wow, you are really talented in everything” even Chloe cringed at that.
“not really, I’ve been doing it for years. I learned from youtube”
Lila stopped for a minute, examining the charm, sizing it up. She could pull it off.
“Any Youtuber in specific?” she gave him a sweet smile.
“umm MDC, I really like her videos” Adrien rubbed his head, trying to get to his seat.
“omg, no way” Lila faked surprise “that’s me” Chloe looked up from her seat.
“I didn’t know you were into sewing Lila” Chloe smirked and Lila almost lost her composure for a second.
“What do you mean Chloe?” a sweet smile, again that made Alya glare at Chloe. Lila was just being nice.
“well MDC sews and crotches and actually does a lot of things” Chloe smirked, she thought she had her.
“oh, you watch my videos” Lila’s face brightened, even more, Chloe could have made a trip around the world with that eye roll.
“No” she just sat down “Sabrina watches MDC doe, she likes to crochet”
“wow, I thought you only cared about yourself” Alya finally said something “I’m surprised you noticed” she smiled as if she just heard a funny joke, Chloe ignored her.
Marinette decided to make her grand entrance at that moment.
“Oh hi, Aa-evryone” she laughed nervously when she saw Adrien, calm down girl, you sit with him.
“Oh Sabrina” the said girl perked up “I got you the pattern for the Chat Noir keychain from the last video”
“you do youtube to Marinette?” Lila jumped up first, after a quick google search she now knew how many subscribers her supposed channel had, the person leading it never showed her face on it thankfully.
“yeah” Marinette said looking at the scheming girl.
“How many subscribers do you have I have 458 011, not that I’m bragging or anything” Lila switched to a shy role and Alya ate it up “Of course not Lila you are too nice for that” Marinette wanted to throw up.
“umm, let me check, I had 70 000 for the longest time but uncle jagged gave me a camera recently and my channel has just been taking off” Marinette said, she put down the patterns on Sabrina’s desk and pulled out her phone.
“U-uncle jagged?” Lila stammered “yeah, I’m surprised you don’t know Lila” Chloe had her smirk back on “Jagged Stone really loves Marinette, he even calls her honorary niece on Instagram” Marinette reddened and Lila had a minor heart attack.
“Oh there it is, I have 458 011, how many did you say you had?” Marinette started connecting the dots “how is your channel even called?”
“oh what a coincidence, what is your channel called?” Lila fake nicnes
“MDC” everyone who was listening gasped “what is it?”
“Why are you lying Marinette?” Alya yelled at her.
“What?”
“That’s Lila’s channel, not yours, why are you lying?” Marinette smirked, she finally had her.
“go to the Instagram linked in the description of videos” Marinette told Alya, she didn’t trust Lila to do that.
“Okay and now what, its just crafts” Alya glared at her
“scroll down to like 2013, when I didn’t even know Lila” Alya did as said, it took s while, Marinette had a lot of posts but she did get to it.
“click on the first post and read the description”
“Okay” Alya complied “ Hi my name is Marinette but you can call me MDC, I’ll be posting things I make here and I think I’ll maybe start youtube but we’ll see about that, bye, for now, <3 <3”
“Is that enough proof?” Marinette smirked, she finally had her.
“You lied, omg you lied” Alya accused her “what else did you lie about?”
“Everything” Marinette said as she picked up her things and made her way to her seat in the back, Adrien calmly followed her while the classroom started filling with screams and yells.
“It’s not my fault you were stupid enough to believe me, I mean for real who would have that many famous people for friends without being famous” Lila turned on them all” It’s really just really your fault that you were stupid, I’ll transfer and people there will be just as stupid and easy to manipulate” she laughed” I mean” Lila stopped and looked at Marinette “ she was the only one to see through my lies and you didn’t trust Marinette even doe you know her longer so don’t come at come at yourself its not my fault and I’ll just replace you” Lila finished her tantrum and made way for the door.
“Where are you going?” Chloe asked her, Lila glared at her.
“New school” She yelled and slammed the door open.
“Where you will easily manipulate everyone because everyone is stupid and you are the only one smart?”
“yeah” Lila said as if she has done something.
“I doubt you’ll manipulate anyone after I post this on Instagram”
