Jeno couldn’t believe that someone this ethereal is real. It amazes him so much the more he looks at him. Jeno just admiringly stares at the beautiful boy sitting beside him on the train station. What caught Jeno’s eyes the most is the plump bump on his stomach. He must be due soon.
Jeno can’t help but be mesmerized by the beauty of the man sitting beside him. It may look rude but Jeno stares at him admiring his beauty.
“Hi. How many months?” Jeno asks. The guy looks at him and smiles. Jeno feels himself being thunderstruck by the sudden flash of his pearly white teeth. It made him prettier.
“7 months, a boy.” He simply says while he caresses the baby bump.
“If you mind, may I know your name?” Jeno can’t help himself but ask. Thankfully, the other just smiles at him warmly.
“Jaemin.” He shortly answers.
“Pretty name for a pretty person. You are glowing .” He praises looking at Jaemin. Jaemin’s face turns into a shade of pink because of Jeno’s honest compliment.
“You and your husband must be ecstatic.” Jaemin looks at him sadly but still smiles.
“Yeah…” He whispers. And Jeno does not fail to notice this. It feels like he has hit some nerve mentioning the husband.
“Oh… did he not want the baby?” Jeno asks. Jaemin shakes his head furiously.
“It’s… it’s just complicated.” He caresses his belly again. Like protecting something precious… which is true. The baby inside his stomach is precious.
“Don’t worry… that baby will be happy. You seem like an amazing mom.” Jeno comforts.
“You think so? I’m honestly scared.” Jaemin says truthfully. Jeno asks permission to caress the baby bump in which Jaemin nods. A certain smile creeps into his face. It felt warm. It felt beautiful.
“Yes. You will be an amazing mom. And this baby? Will be the most beautiful baby. He will be showered with the love and support he needs. So don’t worry, Jaemin.” Jemin can’t help but smile.
“Do you have a name for him?” Jisung sounds like a pretty name for a boy. Jeno thinks.
“Jisung.” Jeno looks at Jaemin with shock. Just like what he was thinking of.
“His father and I wanted to name him Jisung. He liked soccer.” Jaemin gives him a warm smile while holding Jeno’s hand on his stomach. Continuously caressing the baby bump. Like telling the baby that they’re here for him.
Jeno was about to open his mouth and ask more questions from the beautiful boy when the announcement of the train stops him.
The next train is coming in two minutes. The next train is coming in two minutes.
“Let’s go babe.” Jaemin then takes Jeno’s hand as they wait for the train. Jaemin smiles sadly upon remembering his husband’s fate.
Jeno had lost his memory when he was involved in a car crash a few months ago. All his memories were gone..
