One afternoon, you were with your boyfriend of a few weeks, Kazunari, at the living room of Mankai when he let out his voice.
“I’m legit tired… How about a nap, just the two of us?”
Kazu’s mouth let out an adorable yawn as he asked you the flirtatious question, bringing a hint of red to your cheeks just before you let out your own yawn.
“It… sounds nice to me…”
You noticed Kazu’s eyes go wide for a split second, before he broke into a “confident” smile. Perhaps he wasn’t expecting you to accept his invitation. Maybe you only did because your own tiredness had put your usual shyness around your newfound boyfriend out of your mind. Or perhaps you had finally grown comfortable enough with him that you were ready for the step of innocently sleeping together.
“Shall we… My love?” He said, reaching out his hand.
Your cheeks grow even hotter at his affections as you timidly put your hand in his so he can lead you to where he wanted.
“Is it okay if we go to my room? Mukkun’s still at school for a few more hours, so we won’t be bothered there.”
“Your room?” You replied in a curious voice. Did he realize the implications that could have?
“Just an innocent nap! We won’t do anything naughty! ...Unless you want to…”
“It’s okay! I was just unsure if you understood the implications and what people might think.”
He broke out into a smile and then turned around to lead you to his room.
Once you reached his bed, you blushed as you calmly climbed into it.
He squeezed your hand and wrapped his other arm around your waist, bringing you close to him.
“Just so you know…” he whispered, “these past few weeks have been the time of my life. I’ve… actually never had a proper partner until you, and I’m so glad to have someone as good as you in my life…”
Your heart was pounding. Could he hear it?
In those thoughts, you pressed your hand to his chest, feeling that his was pounding just as hard as your own. You smiled at him, not knowing how you could possibly express your feelings in words. He leaned in to kiss your lips, as if to say, “You don’t have to say anything at all.”
You two soon fell asleep, feeling the warmth of your feelings for each other.
