As the sun reflected upon the glasses of glazelily tea, Zhongli couldn’t help but glance at the blonde alchemist who carefully inspected his glass. The soft light of the resting sun shone upon the open area, he knew inviting the man was a splendid idea.
Albedo found himself fixated on the small cup of tea he held. It was almost shocking when Zhongli had asked him to join him for a drink. He’d been accustomed to the warmth of Angel’s Share tavern back in Mondstadt.
He stared at the slowly growing stale food on the table. It turns out jade parcels truly aren't a good match for tea. “Is the tea alright?” Zhongli spoke, breaking Albedo’s daze. “It was brewed from newly blossomed Glaze Lillies down at Qingce Village, a truly elusive beverage.” He smiled as he brought the cup to his lips.
Albedo thought before finally conveying his thoughts “I’ve heard that these flowers are more than extraordinary. Definitely an interesting species to study,” The blonde swirled his tea. “The traveller once expressed to me that they’d be more than inclined to eat one.”
Drawn in by Albedo’s statement Zhongli replied. “These flowers are only grown in Liyue soil, many millennia ago it was said to have spread upon all of the land,” He paused, turning to Albedo who observed silently. “An old friend of mine once planted these treasures as a gift to homosapiens.”
Albedo remiscened through the old snotty man's story.
