Kiss the Bruise

Summary:

Prompt: Reader lightly kissing Gojo on top of a freshly formed bruise.

Chapter Text

You are an exceptionally talented doctor, the best general practitioner there is. That’s why when a mysterious group in the outskirts of Tokyo scouted you to work as a physician, you were hesitant, but you are now grateful you accepted. It turns out working as a doctor for sorcerers with injuries that are not curse-related is the best job you could have asked for. Not only are you well taken care of financially, but the people you meet are incredible. This is a world many people don’t even know exists.

One calm evening, shortly before calling it quits for the day, you received an unexpected visit: the great Gojo Satoru. Not for himself, of course, but for his student. The powerful sorcerers are rarely seen in the “normal” clinic simply because they are way too powerful to be hurt in normal ways. So he requested his student’s visit be kept a secret, as he was Itadori Yuuji, Sukuna’s vessel. You’d heard about the death of Sukuna’s vessel at a recent mission, so this was hard to believe. But it seems like that was an assassination attempt from which Yuuji came back, and the best way to keep him safe until he is stronger is to keep him a secret.

“So, what do we have here?” You ask a bruised Yuuji.

“Well, you see, Gojo sensei has me training to learn how to infuse cursed energy, and he gave me a cursed doll to hold while watching movies that beats me up every time I don’t infuse enough energy,” Yuuji says while pointing at the biggest bruise on his face.

“We just want to make sure he didn’t sustain any serious injuries before he goes to sleep,” Gojo casually adds. He’s so cool. Perhaps it’s because he’s the most powerful man ever, but he carries himself with confidence and charm that is quite admirable.

“Okay, let’s take a look.” You say as you start the exam. Yuuji is an adorable kid. He has a similar energy to Gojo’s, very similar confidence, and incredibly friendly. He’s like a giant puppy; you just want to cuddle the loveable little thing.

“Open your eyes wide and follow the light I’m about to shine in your eyes, please.” Big brown eyes open wide under scruffy pink hair.

“Dilation looks normal. All reflexes look normal. It seems like it’s just the bruises to worry about. Make sure to ice it before bed, drink a lot of water, sleep well and eat as healthy as possible to allow your body to heal.” You say with a smile. Itadori is still frowning. So, you pull out what you usually pull out with children, a lollipop.

“Will this make it better?” You ask, wondering why you find this teen so precious. His eyes lit up a little when you handed it to him.

“And maybe a hug?” Yuuji asks with a slight pout and head tilt. He is sitting on the exam table, so you can still reach him despite the height difference. You pull his head to your shoulder and instinctively lightly kiss the bruise on his forehead.

“There, good as new!” You say. He gives you a bright, toothy smile and hops off the table.

“Thanks, Doctor, see you next time!” He grins as he walks off with his sensei. Gojo just gives you a hand salute as he walks out the door with Itadori. Well, that was super adorable. Totally worth staying late.

The duo continued to come periodically to ensure the hits Yuuji was taking during practice were not causing any real damage. That child is incredibly resistant. His athletic composition is beyond unattainable, and his healing abilities are bizarre. But you appreciate that Gojo cares enough to make sure he is okay.

One day, Gojo came in without Yuuji. When you walked into the room, it was Gojo himself sitting on that exam table. You looked around, wondering where Yuuji was.

“It’s for me this time,” he says, noticing your surprise.

“How could this have possibly happened?” You ask, completely sure it has to be a prank.

“Turns out Yuuji-kun is improving faster than I thought. He made me a bet that I could only avoid his hits with my infinity, so I deactivated it for a quick fight, and he caught me off guard. I got hit. It never happens, so I just wanted to make sure everything was okay.”

“Wow, the student will soon become the teacher,” you joke. “Okay. Let’s take a look.” There was a bruise, all right. Barely there, but it was there nonetheless. He must have been able to avoid the full hit for the bruise to be so light. Actually, there are two. One on his left temple and another smaller one on his left jaw. It seems he took two consecutive hits. How fast was this kid? Not that the exams were needed, but you did them anyway. He removed his blindfold so you could check the dilation of his pupils and: Holy. Shit. This man’s eyes are unbelievably beautiful. The blindfold fell, dropping the usually spiked up bright white hair in front of light blue eyes complemented with bright white eyelashes matching his hair. There was a magical reason, something about a rare ocular jujutsu “six eyes,” that he had to keep his eyes covered. But now you’re beginning to wonder if the real reason was that if his eyes were uncovered, this man would be way too beautiful to exist in society. Push that thought out of your head; this is unprofessional.

“Okay, it seems like you’re good to go. Ready to get beat up by Yuuji again,” you tease.

“Oi oi, not how it happened! By the way, aren’t you forgetting something?”

You panicked for a moment. Caring for people is not a straightforward procedure, so it is easy to miss something.

“What do you mean?”

“Where’s my lollipop?”

Ugh. This dork.

“Geesh. Here you go.” You say, reaching for the first lollipop you find in the drawer without looking.

“Aaaand?” He asks, tilting his head with a playful expression.

“And what?” You ask, narrowing your eyes.

“Aren’t you forgetting something else?”

“What else do you want?”

“Where is my hug? And aren’t you going to kiss my boo-boo too?” he asks, pouting like Yuuji. It’s not as cute coming from an adult. Though it is quite charming nonetheless.

“Geesh. Get over here, you big baby.” It surprises you how comfortable you’ve gotten with this powerful force of nature.

You approach him for a hug and find yourself nestled between his legs; he was comfortably sitting on the exam table with his ridiculously long legs propped open as usual. Mild nervousness starts creeping in, but you figure you might as well get it over with. It is not as easy to pull his head to you the way you did with Yuuji; this giant is 190 cm. His head hung a little low to accommodate for your height deficiency. You gave him a quick squeeze before giving his temple a light peck. It was different with him than with Yuuji. Itadori was an adorable kid, but this man is about your age. He intimidates you. And at the same time, he is a total idiot. Something feels different as your lips make contact with his temple, and you want more. You reach again and kiss his second bruise, the one on his jaw.

“You have two bruises,” you explain, realizing that was weird. You start to pull away, but you realize his arms are blocking your path and his legs closed a little bit. They haven’t touched you, but you can feel them. You freeze in your tracks. He pulls in closer again and places his face back where it was when you kissed him, and hovers his lips by your left ear.

“Thank you,” he says in a low voice. Even with his mouth so close to your ear, you had to strain a little to hear him. He didn't make contact, not with his lips, hands, or legs. But somehow, it felt as if he had. His arms and legs opened the path again. You stepped back, wondering what just happened. He stood up and walked away as if nothing happened.
