He was patrolling the skies like he normally does, for half the day everything was normal but then he saw something a little weird. A man standing on top of a tall building holding a limp woman by her neck, hanging her off the edge of the building. He couldn't believe his eyes the man dropped her. At this rate she's going to die. Luckily he was just in time, he was able to save her by catching her before she hit the ground. Her body is encased in metal. Everything except her wings, her arms, and her legs. It goes from her neck, covering her torso and her back, covering her private areas as well. Did that guy do this to her or did she do this to herself to protect her body from him? He decides he's going to fly up and see what the fuck is up with this bastard.
Turns out that young woman was you and he's your boyfriend. Well considering he tried to kill you, Hawks decided it's safe enough to assume that he's no longer your boyfriend anymore. He grabbed the man by the collar of his suit and turned him into the authorities.
With all the damage done to this young woman and you being in his possession, it was enough to sentence the man to prison for domestic abuse and attempted murder. Hawks road in the ambulance with you to make sure you got the care you needed. When arriving at the hospital he found out that you've got two broken legs, a broken arm, the other arm is fractured, and your ex broke one of your wings. The hospital staff said that unless they get the key to take this weird chastity belt off of you they can't do anything to help her.
So they waited he waited for you to wake up. 2 days later in the middle of the night you finally woke up and asked where you were. He was on patrol at the time and was alerted by the hospital staff as per requested. He rushed over there so he could talk to you, as you won't talk to any of the doctors.
He fills you in the situation they'd like to be able to get a scan of your body, but the suit your wearing currently will mess up their machinery. They need the key to remove it, without hurting you. You give him an address and tells him on the roof look for the panel with the little bird carved into it. When he finds it that he should rip it open and grab the box from inside and bring it to you. He finds the box in no time flat and brings it back to the hospital, you open it up and there's the key for the belt, you hand it to him.
"You're the one who saved me. You're the only one who should be allowed to unlock this." You said in an earnest tone.
Little did he know this act means more to you than he originally thought. When he questioned you as to why you was wearing it, all you could say was that you knew that the guy you were with was bad, and you didn't want him stealing something that didn't belong to him. So you had this chastity device specialty made so that way it would comfortably fit your body and so he couldn't kill you in your sleep.
The more Hawks hears about all the disgusting things that her ex did to you, the more he vowed in his in his mind that he would never let anyone touch you this way again.
"The hospital staff says that you can be released but you're going to need someone to take care of you so you make a full recovery do you have any friends or family?" He asks.
"Sorry, no. My ex wouldn't let me have friends, and has her family I'm an adult orphan. I don't have anyone in this world who cares about me." You said in a sad tone.
"You know what don't worry about it. Everything will work out. I'll take you in, I'll make sure that you get better." He said determined.
"You're the number two hero! I could never ask you to do that for me." You squeaked in a dejected tone.
He can imagine the poor thing probably has some sort of trust issues because of the abusive ex you were with before.
He pulls a little trinket out of his pocket as he's unlocking the chastity belt. It's a little pendant of a little red wing on it saying *my baby bird*.
'I know how it feels not to have anyone for you in this world and I don't want you to have the same life I had so I'm going to give you a better life whether I can say these words to you or not.' He thinks.
"You didn't deserve what he did to you." He says sincerely. "I'll go take care of the paperwork and I'll have you out of here in a nice soft bed this afternoon." He perks up a little realizing something and then says "Oh right, the police department thought it was a good idea to make your ex pay for all your medical bills since he did all the damage. I told them that I thought it was a good idea. So I hope you don't mind your ex paying for all your medical care. oh and we made sure to give you the most expensive care so he's going to be paying that off for a while." He says with a cheeky grin as he waves to you walking out the door.
It didn't take too long to have the paperwork done and he got you out of there around noon like he said he would. He took you to his apartment and set you in his bed both of your legs are wrapped in the cast you had a splint on One Wing and both your arms were wrapped up so that way they'd heal properly. Luckily thanks to the chastity belt that you purchased for yourself, you had no internal damage and no broken ribs, but that also meant your whole chest area was left completely unmarred. You didn't have any clothes or possessions of any kind at your ex-boyfriend's house and Hawks doesn't really have women's clothing so you're kind of stuck sitting in one of his t-shirts and well that's about it because he doesn't have any underwear you can wear. None of his will fit you, your hips are a little too wide.
After months of healing you finally got the casts off, a few more months of physical therapy you're able to walk again and use your arms again but you're still really malnourished.
It's been about half a year now that Hawks had spent taking care of you, buying fresh groceries everyday, and trying to prepare you a fresh dinner so hopefully you'll put on the weight you need. Steadily your appetite returned and with it a healthy weight gain. It took awhile, but your back to where you need to be. Today he's taking you to the mall to get all the things your going to need. After hours of shopping, trying on clothes, and buying ladies necessities you were tired and hungry. So you stopped by the food court, one of the shops had pizza so you both got a couple slices. One pizza slice and a half later this guy came by leering at you, finally he walked over and said something.
"Hey, cute thing. You look like an angel, why don't you leave this loser and get with me?"
Hawks didn't like that, why would he? So he did what any good boyfriend would do.
"Come here, baby bird." He says to you holding his arm out to you. He pulled you into his lap and gave you a deep passionate kiss right in front of the guy effectively putting him in his place and shutting him down. It was your first kiss, and being near him makes your wings twitch. You melted into it, relaxing your body to his until every inch is pressed against his. Instinctively you pulled your wings to wrap around him and just under his. That's when he broke the kiss, you whined at the loss of contact. "Hmm, my baby bird. Lets get your bags back to my place, or I won't be able to carry everything and take you back. Your not ready to fly yet." he says thoughtfully.
"B- but i've been getting better, can't I atleast try?" you say disheartened.
"Sorry, no. I can't let anything happen to you. Maybe some other time. Lets go." he says standing up, grabbing the bags with one arm and you with the other. He kicks of the ground and his powerful wings do the rest. After a few minutes of flying you back at his apartment. he sets you down, and unlocks the door. After dropping your stuff into his room, he changes into his hero outfit. With a kiss on the forehead to you he's out the door, and off to work.
