Hello, author-chan here!
I wanted to give bit more of a description to the synopsis becuase I feel like what I wanted to explain would make it to long.
So for starters, this story takes place in the real world. There's no heros, no quirks, nothing in resemblance to the anime besides the characters. I know there's fantasy au, nerd and jock au, but I don't really think there's a specific au for the real world so ... real world au.
All of the characters (ex. Bakugo, Izuku, Todoroki, Ochako, etc.) will be in their late 20's. I was trying to write this in the synopsis, but I couldn't find the right way to explain it without making it too long.
This is an omegaverse story. For those that are new to omegaverse, here is some information, and my take on it.
· Beta: Can be male or female. Have no scents, cannot smell an omega or alphas pheromones, don't have heats, and cannot 'bond' with an alpha or omega.
· Alphas: Can be male or female. They are the only ones the can smell an omegas pheromones that are released during a heat, and can smell other alphas'/omegas' scent(s). Are known to excel at their occupation/talent (ex. music, sports, art, etc).
· Omegas: Can be male or female; although a male omega is more rare to come by. They have the ability to get pregnant, and have cycles known as 'heat' where they will secrete a sweet scent from their scent gland to attract alphas to mate with.
• Male omega anatomy: Male omegas can have two different forms of anatomy. Regular male omegas will have regular male genitalia, except their penis will be smaller than average due to their reproductive organs being more focused on their uterus. /Rare male omegas/ genitalia will consist of a vagina, giving the male omega a higher rate of fertility. The rest of their body consisting of their chest, hormones, and features, are male defined. However, male omegas with a vagina instead of regular male genitalia, are only born once every generation, thus increasing their rarity.
· Bond/ing: An act/action of an omega being 'claimed'. This is done when an alpha bites an omegas scent gland, injects their venom into the scent gland, and the omega will then be bonded to that alpha for the rest of their life. This act cannot be done by an omega or beta, nor can it be undone; it is permanent.
• Heat: A week long period, that occurs every month, where an omega will attract alpha's with their pheromones and want to mate. During this time, omega's seclude themselves in their room to prevent alpha's from attacking them.
• Heat suppresents: A medication omega's can take to reduce the amount of pheromones they produce and eleviate the pain during their heats. They can also wear a scent blocking collar that nearly neutralizes their scent, and blocks alpha's from biting their scent gland when they have sexual intercourse. The collar is locked around the omega's neck and can only come off with a key.
• Rut: Only alpha's experience ruts. An alpha will lose all control, practically becoming a wild animal, and continuously mate with an omega until their rut is over. This usaully happens when they are near an omega when they're in heat or if the omega gets an alpha "high" off of their pheromones.
Secondly, I know some of you who are reading this story aren't over the age of 18, but I can't blame you. I started reading yaoi and listening to drama cd's when I was like 15 or 16, so no judgement here. But I will say this, some of the topics may be uncomfortable for some readers.
Topics that may be included in this story include:
- BDSM
- Attempted assault
- Bondage
- Kidnapping
I say "may" because depending on how the story is going or what I want the story to become (because as I write this I haven't written any chapters), it can/will change. I'm kind of writing a story with elements frlm "50 shades of grey", "365 dni(days)", but with a twist of course. So if any of these topics make you uncomfortable, please drop this story, there are other wondeful stories on this platform and many others that I'm sure you'd enjoy. For those of you that are interested in staying or these topics don't bother you, welcome!
Third, I'll try to update as much as I can, but I do attend university and I work so I imagine updates for this story to be either once a week or every other week, depending on my schedule. So if you're willing to wait for updates, I thank you for your patience; you won't regret it!
I think that's about it. If there's anything I want to clarify or communicate with you all, it will be in the author's note that'll be at the end of every chaper. Or if you have any questions, don't be afraid to ask and I'll answer if it doesn't involve spoilers.
