This is an AU developed by a few of us in the Symbrock Discord server, where Eddie Brock has a complicated, incestuous relationship with his twin brother, Thomas Brock.
As you can probably tell by the writing style, this isn’t a formally written fic. It's just a tidied up compilation of all the conversations we've ever had about this AU. So, due to this unique nature, there’s a few things to be explained about how this fic works.
The whole fic is just a mix of different ideas and scenarios that people talked about to throw into this hodgepodge of an AU, and each chapter is a different one of these conversations. Therefore, while there is a general basis for the direction of the story, there is no singular overarching plot, or even any hard canon timeline.
Some chapters might continue where the last one went off, but it's also possible that a chapter might focus on an entirely different story concept with a completely different tone than the previous chapter. You can see the range of topics covered in the story in the tags. Some chapters might be shorter as they focus on smaller ideas, like someone just telling a quick joke. But there are also other, longer stories, potentially even going across multiple chapters, that focus in-depth on more complex and nuanced storylines involving the two brothers. Or the chapter might just be porn. :P
Also, since this is basically a glorified chat log, there’s going to be a lot of images and videos to supplement the ideas being talked about. These can range from IRL images (often of Tom Hardy), memes, art, or even just actual porn. In the case where there’s a formal art piece that lacks a watermark, there will be a source in the notes at the end of the chapter linking back to the original artist. Any formal art piece that doesn’t have a watermark or a source comes from one of us in the Discord. If not embedded, videos will have a preview gif within the fic and a Google Drive link to the full video.
