Love at First Crunch

Summary:

I'm never writing a follow up.

Work Text:

Nagito has lived a truly tiring life. His dedication to hope has left him as a delusional shell of a person that could only be loved by fangirls with atrocious taste and issues that one can’t even begin to describe. He is a man who does not consider himself to be one. He views himself as trash, he is a mere stepping stone scattered along the path that those far greater than him will walk one day. He was born with nothing to love except for his luck. It is the one thing that made him feel even remotely worthy in the presence of ultimates. Still, he feels that he is only a vessel to propel hope. He lives his life to further the lives of those he sees fit to be successful. He wanted nothing more than to inspire hope. He did not care about much more than that. That was how he lived until he met her. He never expected he would meet such a person at any point in his life. This was the woman of his dreams, the girl who truly understood his beliefs. Her name was Dory To. She was the ultimate snack. Her title alone was seductive, although at first he denied such a thought. He didn’t think that he should even think about her in such a promiscuous way. Yet, as time went on, Dory herself convinced him that it was okay. For her entire life, she had been ravaged by thousands of tongues. She was used to being viewed as nothing more than an item of consumption. At first, Nagito didn’t understand her talent. Still he admired her for her status. After all, if she was an ultimate, she was a source of hope. Even so, he was somewhat confused. Dory knew this without him even asking, so she explained unprovoked.

“Nagito, you horrifying 5’9 creature, I can sense that you don’t quite grasp the full extent of who I am. I appreciate your praise and admiration, but I do not think you get what it means to be the Ultimate Snack. All my life I have had people putting their hands all over me, taking remnants of my body with them as they pull away. They’ve licked me, they’ve bit me, they’ve done things to me that would sicken most people. You see, that’s what makes me different. I’m not like other girls, I actually enjoy being eaten. There are many other individuals who would truthfully be suitable for my status, but they are just to craven to be craved like I am. I may not taste as good as my sister Chee To, but I am far braver and far more triangular than her. I inspire hope through my tolerance. I have learned to handle the unthinkable. I am a survivor who will always persevere. I want you to believe in me, Nagito Komaeda. I will always have hope, I can always be your hope.” She spoke with strength and poise. Such would be expected from someone like her.

Those words would echo through Nagito’s head night after sleepless night. Many people would die, and he would remain unphased. They simply were not cut out for this life. He wanted hope to shine through, and he did not care who would fall along the way. Yet when he looked at Dory, he saw her for who she was. She was a curvaceous woman who stood at 9 inches tall. She would strut rather than walk, she would inform rather than talk, and she would need to love before she could not. He would make that last part a reality, for that would be the most wonderful thing he could do for such a hope inspiring person.

It was sometime past nightfall when Komaeda set out for Dory To’s cottage. He was nervous, truth be told. How could such useless trash speak to such a Goddess? The chances of him getting rejected were higher than Yasuhiro when his burger got “stolen by aliens”, but he carried on anyway. He may not be the most ideal boyfriend, truth be told he would probably be a total nightmare, but he was madly in love with the stunning bag of chips. If he didn’t confess his love to her now, would he ever do it? He could die any day, he could die without her ever knowing how much he needed her.

He knocked on the door. Each knock was paced as poorly as this story. His whole body began to coat with sweat, he had never felt so nervous. It was right for him to feel nervous, he could never be confident around someone so talented. She was chosen by hope, she was everything he admired. The door eventually creaked open, revealing a flustered Dory.

“Nagito? Is that you? I can’t quite see, being that I’m 9 inches tall and don’t have eyes.” She craned the upper half of her bag towards him a bit.

“Yes… I know this is probably quite disappointing for you.” He looked away shyly, as if he even had the emotional capacity to feel anything more than hopeful, condescending, worthless or stupid.

“It isn’t disappointing at all. Why don’t you come in?” Using her massive muscular arms, she opened the door a little more for him. He walked in with absolutely no grace whatsoever. His posture was poor, his movements were jagged, and his knees were located too far up.

“Dory, I need to tell you something. Well, I don’t really need to tell you if you don’t want to hear it…”

“No, please tell me what it is. I’m sure it’s important. Even if it isn’t, I disappear entirely when you’re not within my presence so I would appreciate it if you would stay regardless of how stupid you sound or how putrid you smell.”

“Wow, that’s so sweet of you, Dory. I can’t believe you’re not entirely repulsed by me!”

“Well I never said that…” Nagito promptly ignored what she said. Or maybe he just didn’t hear it. It would be inconvenient if he acknowledged anything off script.

“What I came here to say is that I am completely taken aback by you. I thought that I could become the ultimate hope by acting as a stepladder for those superior to me, but I truly think that you are more worthy of filling that role. You have the will to live, and the will to inspire. You are the hope that I’ve searched for. You are the hope that I could only dream of being. You are the hope that I could only dream of being with! Dory, will you date me for the next five minutes until the reader leaves and we cease to exist altogether?”

“Oh absolutely! If it means I get to live for five more minutes, I’ll accept it!” She cheerfully reciprocated his feelings.

“Wonderful! I can’t believe you would actually lower your standards that much!” He rejoiced before letting out a wheezy laugh.

“Oh don’t worry Nagito, my standards and self respect are only going to drop more.” She said seductively.

“D-dory… You couldn’t possibly be saying… With someone like me? Why?” He felt his pants begin to tighten. Well, he would if there was much of anything to tighten around. This was the most affection he had ever been shown, for a good reason mind you.

“Oh that is absolutely what I’m saying, far less likeable Makoto that apparently has way more sex appeal.” She said, hopping on her bed.

“If I’m going to be unwrapped, I want you to be the one to do it.” The moon filtered through the blinds, making her plastic wrapper shimmer sensually.

“I can’t do this… I’m not worthy.” Despite his hesitant words, he found himself walking a bit closer to the bed.

“Hey, there aren’t exactly a lot of options here. I’d rather not do it with the hamster obsessed drunk man with a God complex and Jimmy neutron hair, the buff Jojo rip off invokes unspeakable fear in me, baby gangsta is a little too close to my height and I don’t exactly want to hear “damn right” while being piped, the elephant in the room would probably eat me, I have no respect for simps, and Chef Boyardee’s unwanted cousin would probably criticize my flavor. Am I forgetting someone?”

“Probably not.”

“Right, so you really aren’t the worst option even if you are an incredibly deranged, dangerous individual who apparently does not know how to brush his hair or teeth.” If she had a mouth, she would have earnestly smiled at him.

“So… I don’t think it would be right for someone as lowly as me to take the lead. Please, tell me what you want.”

“Are you sure you’re not just inexperienced in every capacity?” The silence following her question was deafening.

“Alright, well I suppose I should just show you.” Right before his eyes, she began to open her bag all the way.

“Woah! You’re at least fifty percent air! If you don’t mind me asking, did you get surgery?” The silence that followed his question was even louder.

“Nagito, Please, just put it in me.” She spoke with about as much passion as a thrice divorced middle aged wine mom.

“Ah, right! I’m so sorry for messing that up… I’m so worthless.” There are not enough ways to explain the frequent silences between their exchanges. One should just assume that every sentence will end with an unintentional pause.

Nagito removed his smelly clothes, and revealed his unwashed sickly body. He was a disoriented mess whether he was clothed or not. He lifted his abused member towards Dory’s opening.

“The things I do just to survive…” She muttered under her nonexistent breath.

He began to thrust in a relatively consistent pattern. It was a pathetic sight, but it was tolerable. His mind was racing with thoughts that were nearly incomprehensible, he wasn’t even entirely sure what was happening to him. Sure, he’s the ultimate lucky student, but with his egregious personality the chances of him actually getting lucky is slimmer than Junko’s rapidly deteriorating attention span. He was so lost in his own head, that he hardly noticed the sound. The horrifying sound that he should have expected.

SNAP!

Just like the remainder of his sanity, the majority of Dory’s insides had cracked into tiny unsalvageable pieces. He had killed his only material hope. The only hope he could get close enough to touch.

“N-nagito… I can imagine you heard that.” She sputtered out as he pulled out. Her bag began to topple over.

“Dory! I’m so sorry! This never would have happened if I wasn’t such a horny moron!” He frantically put his clothes back on. It’s not like it made him any more bearable to look at.

“Y-yeah, that m-may be true, but I don’t w-want to try to hold on.” Nagito was stunned. How could such a shining personification of hope give up like this?

“You can’t be serious…” He seemed disgusted almost.

“I am absolutely serious. I only have one chip left, I won’t even be able to move. I have tried to uphold my determination, but in the end I’m still no Pollyanna. Being broken into pieces and covered in sour jizz is just too much for me to bear.” She stated, feeling utterly defeated. She was about to continue, but that’s when it happened.

“Did somebody say BEAR?” The familiar voice filled the morose room. It felt insulting and relieving all at once.

“I’ve been watching your pitiful display of virginity since the beginning, and truthfully, I’m just looking forward to the class trial now!” He spat his words at Nagito before bellowing into a boisterous laugh.

“Class trial?!”

“Well, you have pretty much killed her. She’s the only person you could possibly fuck to death with your pathetic thrusting!” He laughed again.

“Hey, she isn’t dead, you know? Can’t you save her somehow?”

“Do I look like Teruteru? Culinary restoration isn’t what I’m here for. What I AM here for is some soap opera drama! So let’s hear her final words so you can finish her off.” Monokuma sat down in the corner, popcorn now magically in hand.

“W-well, what I want you to do is to eat me. As strange as you were, you really did appreciate me for all I could be. You gave me this experience, and I want to thank you for that. As terrible as you were, and even if it led to my death, I would have died this way regardless. If it had to be someone here, I guess I’m glad it was you in an odd way. So please, Nagito Komaeda, you have earned this honor. You will be the one to taste the ultimate snack with her full permission. Think of it as salvaging the last of my hope. If I am inside of you, in a way I can live on.”

“I’m sorry… I’m truly sorry. I wish I could have eaten you out rather than eating you like this, but if this is what you want- no- if this is what you need, I will do it for you. I will use your hope and spread it to the world. I will try to make this painless.” He began to open her bag again.

“Painless? What’s the fun in that?!” Monokuma tossed his popcorn to the ground in rage.

“Whatever, this alternate universe is about to combust anyways. Enjoy your last comically tragic moments!”

Nagito ignored Monokumas parting words, and he began to gently lift Dory’s last chip. He didn’t quite feel right about eating his dead lover of ten minutes, but this was her wish. His discomfort did not matter now, he needed to fulfill her last desire. He set the triangular morsel into his sticky mouth. He really wished that he had brushed his teeth at some point in the last year before doing this. Alas, he was past that point now. He pushed his jaws together, and finished the job. Those next 30 seconds felt like hours. He had never felt such torment. This death was all in vain, it was not for the sake of hope. Even if she wanted him to absorb her last bits of ambition, he felt nothing but sorrow. This was not how he wanted things to end.

He stood there after killing her for what felt like days. He didn’t feel right about trying to hide such a murder, but he knew that the trial would be worthless if he didn’t put up a fight. He sat down on the floor next to her bed, hoping for some kind of guidance. To no one’s surprise, there was absolutely nothing. Still, this was somehow less miserable than what was going on in Gundham’s cottage. Gundham, Sonia, and Kazuichi were all there for what Kazuichi initially thought would be a threesome. Instead, he just got banished to his time-out chair. Regardless of that, he remains horny to this day. What a waste of space.
