Waking up to a hospital ceiling knowing your the one injured because your in a bed with a heart monitor on you? Not what I expected, definitely considering I don't remember getting injured. Before I could take in the rest of my surroundings or think about the problems inherent in the fact I couldn't remember, there is a rush of noise and clatter as several people come in the room.
"I'm just saying that-" and the male talking cuts himself off as he sees me awake.
"Meredith!" The urgency and relief in his voice makes me wary, I have no idea who he is.
"You're awake""How are you feeling?""You're an idiot""I'm going to go page everyone else"
There are other thoughts going through my mind, but instead of questioning my condition I blurt out "Who the hell are you guys?"
