Chapter Text
“Mother Miranda, give the omega to me. Turning her over to Heisenberg would be a mistake!”
It wasn’t the woman’s voice that shook you to your core; it was her scent. The sharp, copper scent of blood mixed with that of a Beta. An aggressive Beta, judging by her tone of voice. The mention of Mother Miranda sent your heart into a frenzy. Your mother had sacrificed you- one of the remaining Omega’s in the village; to the Four Lords. Your mother wanted safety, and thought that giving them her Omega daughter would secure that. Laying blindfolded on the ground, you said nothing as Mother Miranda spoke.
“Lady Dimitrescu, I have given you many Omega’s in the past; yet your Beta nature has not provided any pups.” Mother Miranda’s voice was laced with disappointment. You were trembling. Lady Alcina Dimitrescu was one of the most revered Lords of the village. Your best friend had been sacrificed to the Dimitrescu manor by his father. A very tiny part of your subconscious was glad that Mother Miranda did not want to turn you over to Lady Dimitrescu.
“Mother Miranda, I must protest! The last Omega that Heisenberg was given ended just the same. His moronic lycans used her corpse as a chew toy!” Lady Dimitrescu stood, heels thundering against the ground, causing the stone to vibrate against your cheek from where you lay.
There was a challenging growl, and the strong, pungent scent of metal and grease flooded your senses. “Shut your trap, you big bitch! That Omega ran out of my factory and into the woods. I am not responsible for the actions of a moronic breeder.”
Heisenberg huffed, approaching your little corner of safety. You whimpered, curling in on yourself. His Alpha scent was strong. Alarmingly strong. His scent was thick, heavy with iron and copper. The underlying scent of tobacco wasn’t surprising. The shuffle of fabric suggested that he had crouched in front of you. “Lets get a look at you.”
Whimpering as the blindfold was yanked off your head, you blinked; (e/c) eyes adjusting to the sudden light. Once your vision is focused, you let out a squeak. Heisenberg was right in your face. Trembling, you lower your gaze in submission; a sign of respect.
“Ohh.. She’s a pretty one!” Heisenberg’s hand reached out to touch your cheek, brushing your (h/c) hair aside. Sweat beaded at your hairline, and your body began to tremble in response to this Alpha touching you. You pulled at your skirt, eyes cemented to the floor. Heisenberg tsk’d, grabbing your chin and forcing you to look at him. “Look me in the eyes, doll. I want you to look at your new Alpha properly. ”
Hesitating for only a moment, you willed yourself to meet his gaze. Every Omega instinct within your soul was screaming at you to submit and cower. His Alpha scent flooded over you like a thick blanket. Heisenberg stared at you, intently. You couldn’t see his eyes from behind his signature black lenses, but you could feel his gaze take in your features.
“A little fattening up and she’ll be ripe for breeding.” Your face flushed at Heisenberg’s words, casting your gaze back down to the ground. You could practically feel the grin spread across his face. The image of sharp canines and his prickly beard forced its way into your mind. “What’s your name, sweetheart?” Heisenberg twisted a strand of hair around his gloved finger.
“(Y-Y/N) (L/N)..” You mumbled, wringing your skirt tighter, squeezing your eyes shut. You could feel Heisenberg’s gaze bear holes into your head. Lady Dimitrescu snorted, and you flinched.
“Typical peasant child.” Lady Dimitrescu glared at you and Heisenberg, and the Alpha straightened up, returning the Beta’s glare right back to her.
“So now you think she’s not worth your time, is it? Think she’s subpar because of her name?!”
Heisenberg pulled his hammer to his hand, and you could distinctly hear the scrape of the chair that Lady Dimitrescu had been sitting in scraping backward. The room suddenly had an acrid, sour scent to it. It tasted of anger and fear. You willed the arguing voices out of your ears, curling back in on yourself as Hesienberg stepped away from your spot.
It almost seemed like you had been left alone and forgotten until you heard a loud squeal; right by your ear. It shocked you so intently that you jumped backward, slamming into a pew. Your heart was beating hard enough that it felt like it was going to leap from your chest.
After a very brief period of silence, the arguing resumed. Opening your eyes, you focused on the beat-up doll in front of you. It was Angie; the doll that belonged to Lady Beneviento. Before now, you had never heard the doll speak. You were taken aback.
“Look at her!! She’s so pretty!!” Angie screamed in your face, bouncing on her wooden feet before running back to Lady Beneviento. The cloaked woman didn’t say a word to you, only passing where you sat and offering you a tiny nod. Your eyes followed her to her seat, and you stared for only a moment before your attention was drawn to the next person who entered.
It was Lord Moreau. You’ve only ever seen him in the photos on your mother’s shrine. He smelled of fish. Moreau paid you no attention, and you watched as he shuffled his way over to Mother Miranda.
Heisenberg and Lady Dimitrescu were no longer yelling. They were still bickering but had overall quieted down. Mother Miranda had yet to say another word.
Angie spoke up, from Lady Benebiento’s lap. “Whatcha gonna do with her, Mother Miranda? Give her to us?”
Mother Miranda shook her head. “The Omega will be given to Heisenberg.” The gilded woman’s word was final. You swallowed the lump in your throat, gluing your eyes back on the ground as Heisenberg let out a laugh.
“Take that, super-sized bitch! The Omega is mine!”
A sheet of steel appeared from somewhere within Heisenberg’s coat and fastened itself around your neck. You flinched at the cold against your skin, but let out a tiny whimper as the Alpha lord somehow pulled you to his side. Oh. The metal powers. Your mother had said something about the legend of the Lord’s different abilities.
For the remainder of the meeting, Heisenberg kept a firm hold on your new metal collar. You trembled when Dimitrescu and Heisenberg began bickering again. Mother Miranda actually put a stop to it this time.
“Enough. My decisions are final. The Omega will go with Heisenberg, and you are not to bother them, Alcina. If this Omega fails to produce any pups with Heisenberg, you may take her.”
Alcina frowned but did not press any further on the issue. You watched as Hesinberg stood, lifting his giant metal hammer over his shoulder like it weighed nothing.
“Come, pet. I gotta show you your new home~!” Heisenberg’s metal pull kept you at only a foot behind him as he strutted out of the chapel. Before they left the doors, Heisenberg tossed his coat and hat over your head. “Don’t need those nosy villagers takin’ a peek at what’s mine.”
His gloved hand lingered on your cheek, ever so briefly, and you felt the aggressive heat spread across your cheek.
“Now come. Let's go home.”
