Chapter Text
It was a Saturday, a normal, calm day for all involved in Class 1-A.
All the students were in the common room, studying, watching a movie or just hanging out with Aizawa watching over them to make sure they didn't cause any problems.
When seemingly out of nowhere, There was a bright light, then the sound of something thumping to the floor along with an 'oof'. Everyone in the common room got into a defensive stance.
Aizawa walked slowly to the heap on the floor and sent out his capture weapon, when the person on the floor stood up and dodged effortlessly.
"C'mon Shou!" The person huffed, then paused.
All the students along with Aizawa stood there dumbfounded as a Midoriya Izuku look-alike stood there staring back. Scars on his face and littering his arms.
"Oh. No wonder that pain seemed familiar." He cocked an eyebrow.
Aizawa sent his weapon out again, only for it to be dodged effortlessly once more. The other flipped over it, then ducked and rolled, stood up quickly and clicked his tongue.
"Nuh-uh! I ran circles around you, the other pros and police for a year! Just because you're some other version of Shouta doesn't mean you can catch me! Just let me explain would ya Shou~"
The class stood gaping at this other Midoriya, who moved so fluidly, and seemed very carefree.
"Fine." Aizawa ground out between clenched teeth "What did you mean that pain seemed familiar? Who are you and why do you look like the Problem Child?"
Viridian raised and eyebrow and scanned over the students, when his eyes met familiar green. He stared for a moment longer then shrugged. He bowed slightly then introduced himself. "Hello! It's your friendly neighborhood time-traveling, and now apparently dimension-traveling Vigilante Viridian! Though I suppose, I'm not a Vigilante anymore! So uh- Pro-Hero Viridian at your service!"
"Pro-Hero? You look the same age as my students. Viridian." Aizawa spoke cautiously.
Viridian's eyes seemed to glow as he broke out in a wide smile "Well Shou~ physically I am 15. Mentally, I'm 43. The pain was familiar because I've already traveled through time/space once already. As for why I'm a Pro?" His smile grew wider as he reached into one of his pockets pulling out a laminated card, passing it over to Aizawa who took it carefully.
"I'm a Pro, because of what I already said. I ran circles around you, other Pros, including All Might and the police for a year. No one could catch me, and technically, I wasn't doing anything illegal. So the police and pros decided to work with me instead. After awhile Masa and you decided to get me a license because the public was in an up-roar about me not having one. The commission's okayed it too."
"Whoa!" Kirishima spoke "Your got away from All Might? You must have super good control of your quirk!"
Virdian paused. Eyebrows drawing in confusion. "Huh?" But before he could really ask, Aizawa sighed, handing him back his Hero License.
"It's real. So what exactly happened Viridian?"
"Oh! I was patrolling. I was busting a trigger deal when one of the villains with an unknown quirk smacked me on the back. Usually I'm more prepared, but this guy was a wild card." Viridian smiled sheepishly "Guess I know what his quirk does now though." Aizawa sighed heavily.
"So, wait.." Izuku spoke up hesitantly "Why did you uh- t-travel back in time, in your timeline?"
"That is a good question. Time Travel is usually illegal... And you came back-" Aizawa got interrupted.
"28 years into the past. I had went back to stop the apocalypse in my timeline, and to Kill Shigaraki Tomura before he could become scarily intelligent." His tone was serious and a sharp look was in his eyes. The smile had been wiped off his face replaced by a seriousness they didn't think that face could hold.
"HAAAAH?! KILL HIM? NERDS TO MUCH OF A PUSSY TO EVER KILL ANYONE!" Bakugou growled with explosions crackling from his hands.
Viridian sighed, a resigned look crossed his face as he spoke "When you spend over a decade in an apocalypse, you end up doing things you never thought you'd have to do. I killed Nomu left and right, killed people I thought I could trust. When you've watched all your loved ones die in horrific ways, you get desensitized to it all. I will kill Shigaraki if it's the last thing I do." His voice got more and more angry towards the end of his rant.
The class and Aizawa stood in shocked silence for a moment, before Aizawa cleared his throat "You keep calling me Shou. Why?" Changing the subject.
Viridian's eyes lit up "Ah! You and 'Zashi are like my brothers in all but blood! In the first run it was me, you, Zashi, Dabi and Tamaki for a long, long time. Then.. well.. it was just you and I for awhile.. we found and unfinished portal in an underground stronghold and decided to finish it... My.. my version of you, died to send me back.. but second run you is just as wonderful! Its-its still.. you still aren't my Shou.. but.. yeah.."
"That sounds horrible!" Ashido screeched
Viridian snickered "Yeah. But you get used to it." He shrugged.
"Wait, did you say Dabi?!" Izuku then screeched "He's a villain! He works for Shigaraki!"
Viridian sighed and sat on the floor "In an apocalypse, hero and villain titles don't matter. All the matters is surviving. They were my family. Oh! Since this isn't my timeline, I suppose I could tell you."
"Tell us what?" Aizawa asked
"Dabi is Todoroki Toya."
There were chocked sounds for many of the students.
"He's alive?" Shoto whispered with wide eyes.
Viridian cocked an eyebrow "Yeah. And he's a villain, though I don't really blame him. Your Dad's a dick."
"There is so much to unpack from that." Aizawa sighed running his hands down his face.
"So.. do you have the same quirk as our Midoriya? Or is it different?" Yayourozu asked
Viridian had a playful smirk cross his face "Oh? My Quirk? Is Nada."
There were sounds of confusion, but Izuku and Bakugou's eyes widened with realization.
"What?" Denki asked
His smirk got wider "I don't have one. I'm Quirkless."
