A couple of vials clattered on the dark brown nightstand, a pair of irken hands fumbling as they tried to find a small little bottle of medicine.
“It’s the orange one next to the glass of water.” Said Gaz hoarsely, who was on the bed, propped up against a pillow, face flushed as she proceeded to have a coughing fit. She was sick, with what Zim could only presume was some horrible earthen sickness.
The irken grabbed ahold of the small bottle, fumbling with the cap until it popped off, before pouring a bit of the liquid into it and then handing it to the human.
Gaz drank it quickly, cringing at the taste as she proceeded to washed it down with her glass of water.
Zim wasn’t sure how he had ended up here, helping Dibs sister by tending to her sickness.
Well, he did know. It had started mostly on accident, he had meant to break into Dibs room, but had ended up in his sisters room. How he had confused them he had no idea.
The Gaz human had given him a somewhat normal reaction, which had almost ended with Zim stumbling out of the second floor and onto the ground.
But after the debacle, Gaz had just seemed slightly annoyed with the irken that had broken into her room, but was quick to strike up a conversation, mostly because she had shown zim her assortment of videogames.
After he had left, he had no intention of ever coming back, but found himself doing it anyways, mostly to attempt to learn and get better at these videogames, which he admitted were very entertaining.
This had continued for a couple of weeks, and had almost become routine for Zim.
“Dibs been wondering why you’ve skipped school these days you know?” Gazs voice brought Zim back to the situation he was in, and he looked down at her, “I haven’t told him that we hang out, he’d probably be pissed.” She continued, laughing slightly.
Zim grinned a bit, “I’ll bet he’d hate that so much.”
He took a seat at the edge of the bed, grabbing ahold of one of Gazs game consoles that was tossed on there, wanting to pass the time.
“Ay..gimme, i want to beat your highscore.” Gaz reached a hand out, sitting up to get her game, before having another coughing fit.
Zim narrowed his non existent brows, he didn’t like seeing the human practically try to cough out her lungs, “No way Zim is letting you win this,” he reached out, pushing Gaz slightly with a finger to her forehead as she leaned back against the head of her bed, “Perhaps I should leave you to let you sleep.”
“Ugh..no way.” Gaz retorted, “being sick and alone? Thats so boring-“ followed by more coughing.
Zim set the console back on the bed, “You humans are so fragile..Zim shall not go anywhere. Just rest, I’m here.”
Gaz simply stared at Zim, smiling slightly, “Alright alright I will.”
