There he was. The man of my dreams. We met as acquaintances. I remember the time Johnny wouldn't stop talking about introducing me to his friend Yuta from Japan. The way he described his friends felt like a blur. But I believe his exact words after the long introduction... It was : I ship it. I doubted it. Lowkey regretting feeling that way because we hit it off. He was charming, sweet and made my cheeks feel so hot, I needed my cold hands on it 24/7 just to cool it down. We talked the whole time we were there at the gathering after Johnny left us together and yeeted.
He talked about his passion for soccer and art and that one specific time he takes a meaningful picture. I was really into designing so I took up the chance to ask him out for a art and craft picnic day. Day or date. That is debatable. For sure.
Fast forward to our day/date. Johnny was relentless with his teasing. He was acting really suspicious but I didn't want to question it because I had no plans of being unprepared for the day slash date thing. And obviously I told Johnny that I'm playing hard to get because, that's just how I am. Probably need help, but that's a discussion for a next time. So I cut the call. Gathered the canvas, acrylic paint, white wine because it is definitely not weird drinking at 11 am and the rest of the picnic materials and met him at the park by the tower.
So I took up the extra time to set up the picnic. Yes I'm still playing hard to get, I'm just being nice to a tourist. Set up the colours on a board and waited. He came pretty early wearing what I thought was the most prettiest sight in the world. That tower behind us is supposed to be attraction but here I am, staring at this gorgeous piece of art. It was a simple attire, red flannel shirt and jeans. But he looked ethereal. And that's way too many compliments so I'll put a pause on that. He sat down, we caught up with a few cool news. And then I told him the gist of the art plan. We'll both have our own canvas but we'll keep exchanging it every 5 minutes to complete the drawing. I thought it would be an interesting way to see his mannerisms through art. I poured the wine and we were drawn into it. He painted the view infront of us. People were cycling, some were eating and singing. It was a peaceful sight. While I drew a festival theme. We exchanged, filled it with our own spin and had fun. We talked until it was time for us to part ways.
He had to go back home.
