"And, um, I think the blue one would look pretty." Eri says as she puts the last of her pink butterfly clips in Deku's hair. She tried doing this with Papa-Zawa but he said that he'd be burned at the steak. And Eri doesn't want her Papa-Zawa to be burned by a cow!
"The blue one? You mean this one?" Eri takes the pretty blue flower clip out of her Deku's hand. She loves his hands. They're so much bigger than hers, but even though they're scarred and his fingers are gnarled, they're so warm. She especially likes it when he runs them through her hair or when he holds her hand when they cross the street, she always feels so safe.
"Yep! It would look perfect right about…" she pulls back to survey her onii-chan's head, there isn't much space in his hair but she knows just where she should put it! Right next to his ear! "here!"
"Wow, you look so pretty onii-chan! I wish I was as pretty as you!"
"Pfffft, fat chance shorty. Izuku is the prettiest guy around." Katsu-nii grins, big and bright, he almost reminds her of Deku when he does that.
"What about you?" She tilts her head, taking in Katsuki’s disarming grin and decides that yes, he's also very pretty. But he could be prettier.
"What about me?" He raises an eyebrow and for some reason she feels like this is a challenge.
"Well, you're pretty, I guess. But I think I could make you look nicer."
"Whoa-ho, okay then. Give me your best shot, short stuff!"
She crawls over to her cupboard where she keeps the toy make-up set someone gifted her for her Birthday. She hadn’t really been interested in it before but she now has a use for it! The contents are mainly lipsticks, eyeshadows and blush in so many different colours and she needs to pick the best ones for Katsu-nii!
Now, what colour goes best with red? Blue? Purple? She rifles through the box, cataloging each colour as she goes until she finds the most perfect shade, bright yellow. Yes, the yellow would really bring out Kacchan’s eyes!
Oh and what colour blush would match? The ones in the box are all pinkish hues, so maybe she should just use the eyeshadow instead? Yes! That sounds like an amazing idea! Eri fiddles around with the make-up, comparing them to find the perfect colour combination and when she finally has it, she beams.
“Okay, Katsu-nii, I’m going to put on your eye-shadow first, so close your eyes!”
He does as he’s told and she struggles to hold her hand steady whilst she does it. She accidently over extends the powder on one lid, but it looks kind of cool like that, so she leaves it. “Okay, you can open them!”
When he does, she knows that she did a good job because Deku can’t stop smiling at him! And yes, the yellow really did go well with Katsuki’s red eyes.
The next is the blush. Eri picks up the little plastic handled brush and swirls it around the purple coloured eye-shadow, she knows that purple would be perfect.
And finally, the lipstick! She was lucky that they came in all kinds of colours and this green colour would look lovely with the purple. She lines Katsuki’s lips, only going outside his natural lip line just slightly. “Annnnd done!”
Her grin is beginning to hurt her cheeks from how much she’s smiling but Katsu-nii is just so beautiful that she can’t stop! She wants to ask Deku what she thinks of it but he’s trembling on the floor in tears. “Oh no! Deku! Are you okay?”
“I’m-hah, I’m yeah, I’m okay.” He says into his hands.
Katsuki glares at Deku before going to the bathroom to look in the mirror.
“What the fuck? I look like Barney the fucking dinosaur threw up on me!”
Deku-nii can’t seem to hold back his laughter at this point. Tears run down his cheeks in great big drops but he looks happy. And that’s all Eri wants.
Katsuki stomps back into the room angrier than ever “You little troll! Are you taking the piss out of me?”
“No! I think Katsu-nii looks really pretty!”
He stares at her, his left eye twitching every so often and then he lets out a great big breath. “Whatever, you did a good job.”
Eri opens her mouth to reply when Papa-Zawa comes in, telling them they have to leave before curfew is over.
"Thank you for playing with Eri today and Bakugou, clean your face. You look like you're about to go and sell yourself on a street corner."
"Hah! Say that again you old washed up mother-fuc-"
Deku places his hands over Katsuki's mouth to avoid being lectured further "Will do Aizawa-sensei!"
She hugs them both tightly, not quite ready to let either of them leave just yet. "Will you come back and play with me again?"
"What kind of stupid question is that?"
Katsu-nii pins her down with a stare and for a moment, she thinks he's going to tell her no. But instead he rubs his knuckles on her head making her squeal with laughter. "Of course we will brat! Ain't that right, Izuku?"
He grabs Deku-nii's hand, the same one she was admiring earlier, and threads their fingers together. Deku blushes and looks away, she can't tell if Katsuki blushes, he still has purple eyeshadow on his cheeks.
"Yeah, of course, Eri! We'll see you soon! Bye-bye Aizawa-sensei!"

When they're in class the next day, Aizawa wordlessly hands them two pictures titled "My favourite Big Brothers". Complete with a beautiful Deku and a very fetching Kacchan, make up and all.
