I’m Only Human
Jungkook x Reader
I never believed people when they said “One mistake will ruin your life.” I guess I should have listened when it came to you huh? I don’t consider my two angels mistakes because they are a reminder of what we had. I will never change my view on them but you that's a different story. Little did I know the day you came up to me was because of a stupid dare. It was your fault you pushed it to the limit. Then you ran out. Don’t misunderstand me. I still love you but I can never forgive what you said.
The day we met
I was at my locker. It was valentines week. You being a bad boy everyone tried to get your heart. I didn’t know I caught your eye. For me of course I fell for you with the first look. When my friends saw you they always told me “stay away from him” “He’s bad news” I never listened to them. I found the good in you and never saw the bad until that day. On the day you asked me to be yours you gave me a Lotus Flower, which was my favorite flower with white chocolate. That moment I fell for you more. We were dating for 9 months when I found out that I was having my angels.
I came home from work when I felt really sick. I didn't pay it no mind. I got to my apartment and I was greeted by my puppy. She ran to the door and started running in a circle trying to play. I laughed and patted her head. I took off my shoes and went to the kitchen and grabbed water, thinking that if I drank water my sickness would go away. As I was about to drink water I ran to the bathroom.
After ten minutes I came out and I saw snow sitting in front of the door whimpering. I patted her head to let her know I’m ok. I sat on my couch and turned on the t.v to try to calm down. As I watched t.v I was thinking about what I ate to become sick. As I was thinking I heard a knock. I got up and went to open the door. I see my friend who is pregnant standing at my door. I smiled and invited her inside. She was living a great life and her boyfriend accepted both her and the baby. When she told me that I was really happy for her. She was telling me how she was having a girl and how excited she was. Then again all of a sudden I felt sick again. I ran to the bathroom. When I walked out she looked at me in worry. She then looked at me and asked
“Y/n?” I looked at her
“Could you possibly be pregnant?” I looked at her in shock . It all makes sense now. She told me that she is gonna have her boyfriend buy me a test. After some time he came and I went to take the test. I walked out shaking in fear. I kept the test in my hand. After some time I looked and saw two red lines. I started to sob in happiness. My friend congratulated me. Then I realized that I had to tell Jungkook. I looked at her and asked if she could stay with me while he was here. She of course agreed, while I texted Jungkook to come over and my friend's boyfriend left to go to work.
After 2 hour
I was in the living room with my friend when I heard the passcode being put in. I felt my heart racing. My friend grabbed my hand and told me to calm down. I tried to calm down. Then I saw you walking in. You closed the door while saying
“Hey Babe…” then you saw me sitting with my friend. You knew something was wrong. You came and sat in the seat next to me. You looked at me and asked me
“Are you ok? Did something happen?” When you said that my eyes started to water. At first you thought that you did something. You squatted in front of me and grabbed my hand. When you took my hand you felt something in my grasp. You looked at me in confusion. I looked down and said
“Jungkook…” I then looked back up “I’m pregnant” when you heard that your hand dropped. You looked at me in confusion and said
“What?” I showed the test to you. When you saw it, you dropped it. I looked at you with a smile and said
“We are gonna be parents” then you looked at me in anger and said
“Are you kidding me” When he said that he stood up and pointed his finger towards me and said
“You cheated on me?!” I shook my head and said
“No, I-I swear this child is yours” He looked at me.
“I will never claim that child” he then went to the door.
“You were never important to me, you were just a dare.” When I heard him say that, my heart dropped. After that day I could never show my face at school due to him. I told my parents and they disowned me. The only option was my brother who were friends with Jungkook.
Present
“Come on Areum, Ara we are gonna be late. Uncle Tae is gonna leave you guys” When I said that I saw two little figures running towards me. After Jungkook left me I lived with Taehyung but whenever the boys came over I would stay in my room and only come out when I wanted food. After some time I found out that I was having twins. Areum looked at me and said
“Mommy?” I looked at her with a smile
“Yes my angel?” she looked at the necklace that the three of us had and asked
“When is Appa coming back” I smiled and said
“I have no idea sweetheart” she nodded and went to put on her shoes. We are going to a picnic with Taehyung and his friends. I kinda didn't want to go but I’m only going because Taehyung is gonna propose to his girlfriend. Usually during these events I never show up. I always send the girls but I always tell Taehyung to say that they are his friends' children. Today is the first day that I’m gonna join. I’m kinda scared and nervous. I had a pastel colored sundress. I looked at the mirror before we went out. I played with the necklace that Jungkook got me when we were together and I got the girls matching ones. We sat in the car and went to the park. When we got there the girls stayed by my side as we were walking. When we were about to seat down I heard someone call my name
“Y/n!” I turned and saw my friend with her child walking towards us. The girls ran to her daughter. I hugged her and caught up with her, when I heard Taehyung say someone's name.
“Jungkook, over here” I froze when I heard that name. The girls noticed and they looked at me and said
“Mommy are you coming?” I nodded and sat with them. Ara sat on my lap while Areum sat next to me and her friend. Ara and I were playing a game while she was on my lap. While we were playing I felt someone staring at us. I looked and saw Jungkook staring. He then looked at the group
“Guys tell me what has happened while I was gone.” he said while looking at me. I gulped and looked at my daughters and said
“You guys want to tell uncle Tae’s friend the good news?” They both nodded. They both raised their hands Ara said
“I want to say something” Jungkook laughed and nodded
“Mommy got into a fashion design school.” when they heard that they looked at me and then at the girls and said
“Mommy!?” I then realized that they didn't know that I had children. Then Jungkook looked at me and said
“You had children” I looked at my friend and she smiled and nodded
“I have had children for 3 years.” I said as I looked at Jungkook “Don’t you remember Jungkook?” When I said that everyone looked at me then Jungkook. Then they all said
“She was the person you chose for the bet!?” He looked down. I scoffed and looked at the twins and said
“Babies” they both looked at me and answered
“Yes Mommy?” I looked at Jungkook and I saw him trying to figure out what I was about to do
“Your father is here but he didn't want to be with us so he left.” Areum looked at me in confusion
“Did he leave because of us?” I looked at Jungkook and said
“I don’t know baby” I was about to say something, but before I could I felt someone pull me away. I snatched my arm away and looked at the person knowing who it was
“What Jungkook?” he looked at me in anger
“Why are you telling them that!” he yelled. I scoffed and looked at him
“Who do you think you are to yell at me for protecting my daughters huh?” He looked at me and was about to say something but I cut him off before he could talk. “You think you can be in their life after leaving 3 years ago, you better think again Jeon Jungkook. They don’t deserve to know their father. You don’t deserve to be in their life.” he looked at me with sad eyes “I was just a bet to you right? I meant nothing to you right? Well let me break the news to you, YOU ARE NOTHING TO ME NOR MY DAUGHTER’S, get that though your head.” I said as I walked away. He stopped me and said
“You weren't a bet, I actually loved you.” When he said that I rolled my eyes and said
“Really that's why it was so easy for you to leave me?” I said with tears in my eyes. He went to grab my face but I pushed him away and yelled
“I HATE YOU JEON JUNGKOOK, I WISH I NEVER MET YOU!” I then walked back to the group and looked at the girls and said
“Babies lets go” they looked at me in confusion but nodded. They both came to me. As I was about to walk off I saw Jungkook standing there looking at the girls. They looked at him then at me
“They look like me” when he said that he bent down to Areum and said
“My beautiful daughter” When she heard that I could see her eyes water
“Appa?” I closed my eyes and knew that I couldn't hide it anymore. How can I stop my daughters from meeting their father? What kind of person would I be? I looked at Jungkook and said
“You can be in their life but you are still nothing to me other than a simple mistake.”
Yet again what can I do when their father wants to met them, I’m only human.
