Chapter Text
You were leaving your work, which was the number 2 hero, Hawks’, agency building. Your job was mostly taking certain paperwork to whoever it was assigned to, nothing special in your eyes but it paid your bills. On your way home, you heard a commotion coming from an alley, your curiosity got the best of you and you snuck over to see what it was about. You hid behind a trash bin, and in front of you was two men. One had coal black, spiky hair, you couldnt see his face but you could see his arms, from his wrists and up they were covered in purple scars and staples connecting the two different skin tones around his wrists. That was no doubt the villain Dabi. The other man was a stranger, he had a hoodie up covering his face. You went to move closer, to hear better, but you accidentally kicked a beer bottle on the ground. Your eyes widened as you watched it roll to Dabi, stopping right at his foot. You slowly look up to see him staring directly at you. “Oh shit..” You quickly try to bolt out of the alley but two feathers appear in front of your face, stopping you in your tracks.
“Civilians, always getting in other peoples business.” The stranger spoke, who you now recognized as Hawks’ voice. You slowly turned to face them, “I.. I won't tell anyone..” You spoke softly, mostly out of fear. Dabi walked up to you, he held your chin as he examined your features. “Shes a pretty one..” His voice.. It was smooth, yet rough. Your eyes met his, his bright blue eyes. Even in the dark, they seemed to glow. “We should get rid of her, we can't trust she’ll keep her mouth shut.” Hawks spoke out, walking up to Dabi. “She'll keep her mouth shut, won't you doll?” Dabi smirked slightly as you nodded quickly. He let you go and you keep your head down as you leave the alley, quickly going to your apartment building. “You really think she’s going to keep quiet?’ Hawks gives Dabi a look, to which Dabi looks at him and shrugs. “We’ll see won't we?”
You get inside your apartment and close the door, quickly locking it. You close your eyes, thinking back to Dabi being so close to you. You touch the spot on your chin where he had touched.
You shrug your coat off and go to your bathroom, taking a quick shower then heading to bed.
