What's New Scooby Doo: New Moon Part II

Summary:

After Velma introduces the mystery gang to the Cullens, Daphne spends an intimate night with Alice at the manor.

Work Text:

Daphne and Freddy waited together in the local graveyard on a grey Sunday morning. Shaggy and Scooby were a few yards away, picking through some leaves that were covering some of the gravestones and making comments about the disappointing lack of wild mushrooms. It had been three days since they had encountered the strange man at the manor, and they had just received a message from Velma to meet here about a potential clue. Having not received any clues prior since the discovery of the manor, Daphne was slightly nervous for Velma to arrive.

She worriedly twirled a lock of her ginger hair around her fingers knowing that if Velma were to arrive with a fresh lead, she would have to put on a brave face and go back into a scary situation with a dangerous culprit. She glanced at Freddy, who had been absent mindedly chatting to no one in particular about last night’s pro wrestling match. He wasn’t always the smartest of the group, but she would have been kidding herself to say the sight of him didn’t calm her down slightly. He was so brave, so large, so protective. He always made her feel safe.

A few minutes later, a mysterious black Volvo pulled in through the tall black gate of the graveyard and parked next to the team’s blue and green mystery van. Daphne held her breath as the doors of the Volvo opened and Velma climbed out of the passenger side door, and out of the driver’s side came a tall handsome blonde man that Daphne did not recognize. The couple approached the mystery gang, and Daphne noticed with suspicion that Velma and the man were walking very close together, their hands almost brushing together. Her short brunette friend also seemed more peppy than normal, shining brightly with a giant smile plastered across her face. This bitch totally wasn’t a virgin anymore, good for her! She made a mental note to totally gossip about it to Freddy later.

“Hey guys!” Velma said. “I want you to meet someone. This is Carlisle, he is a doctor and he has some very important information about the case.”

“I am delighted to meet all of you. From what I hear, you kids are quite the team.”

Scooby and Shaggy trotted over and the mystery gang took turns shaking the pale man’s hand and introducing themselves. When it came to Daphne, she was mildly surprised at how cold the man’s hand was compared to the warmth of his smile.

“I understand you are having trouble with a man who acts like a vampire?”

“Like yeah,” Shaggy piped in. “The creep’s got the whole town spooked! Me and Scoob included.”

“Reah, rooked!” The great dane shivered, his teeth clattering like an old wind-up toy.

“You say you can help? What have you heard?” Asked Freddy.

“It’s not what I’ve heard, it’s what I know. Your suspect has been using the cover of my family’s land to throw you on a false trail. This town is indeed host to vampires, but none that would do real harm to anyone here.”

“Wait hold on, you’re saying for sure there are vampires here but not the one we’re looking for? Freddy interjected, crossing his arms over his broad chest.

“Indeed. I suspect the man you are looking for is the same man that has been coming onto our property. We don’t know who it is, but we’ve been trying to track him for weeks.

Freddy furrowed his brow.

“Okay but we moved pretty fast over the statement that there are vampires here. Real ones? How would you know?”

Carlisle’s golden eyes glinted at the ascot wearing man and cracked a sly grin, exposing a pair of sharp fangs.

“They are my family.”

The group fell into a momentary chaos. Shaggy yelled “Zoinks!” and caught the dog who had thrown himself upward into the air and they held each other and trembled. Daphne gasped and gripped the arm of the muscular man beside her, who moved his body in front of her immediately to put himself between her and the vampire. Velma took Carlisle’s idle hand and put her other out towards the group.

“Woah guys, hold on! This guy is friendly, he and his family actually protect the people here from bad vampires. He told me all about their vampire hunts, and they only drink animal blood.”

The sight of Velma’s trust towards the vampire seemed to relax Freddy somewhat, and Daphne watched the tension leaving his shoulders. Seeing him lower his guard caused the rest of the group to also become comfortable in front of this apex predator. Scooby slinked out of Shaggy’s arms and back onto the ground. Daphne let out the breath that she hadn’t realized she had been holding, and nervously tucked a strand of hair behind her ear.

“Just know that if you have any ill intent, we’re going to have a problem.” Freddy puffed up his chest toward Carlisle bravely.

“There will be no problem, I assure you. I would actually like to invite you all to dinner. I want to introduce you guys to my family. We greatly appreciate the effort you all are putting into this case. Anyone causing problems in this town is not welcome, so we all want to show you our support.”

Freddy timidly accepted the dinner invitation on the groups behalf, and Daphne couldn’t help but feel even more nervous than before. Five minutes ago, there hadn’t been such thing as real vampires, and now she was about to have dinner with a whole coven! All she could do was wear her best dinner scarf and hope that she looks presentable enough to please the family of blood suckers who may or may not like her.

_ _ _

A few hours later, Daphne was once again nervously toying with her hair in the passenger seat of the mystery machine. Her dear Freddy was at the wheel, following the taillights of Carlisle’s Volvo. The woods that they drove through were dense, casting long shadows around the foliage and giving grey sheens to the people occupying the retro van. Daphne’s eyes flicked to the rearview mirror momentarily to see that Scooby’s teeth were once again involuntarily chattering, making a small cartoony sound that did nothing to booster her morale. The van was strangely silent for the crew, partly because of the missing brunette who had decided to ride with the vampire. The gang had nothing good to say as they drove closer and closer to uncertainty.

Later, after winding up the long, wooded road into a mountainous pass, the Volvo in front of them finally made a turn onto a hidden driveway. At the end of the driveway stood a tall glass house that rose predominantly on a rise that overlooked the valley. In front of the house stood three new people, a couple of whom were waving with pleasant smiles. Daphne thought to herself that if the shadows on the trees hadn’t been so dark and the smiles on the strange people so unassuming, this spot would be a beautiful place to have a winter vacation house.

The Volvo parked and the doors opened to release the occupants inside, who greeted the people at the house warmly. Freddy parked the van and gave a small reassuring but wavering glance back at the others before they followed suit.

Daphne walked towards the vampires, hand in hand with Freddy as Carlisle was beckoning them over.

“Welcome to the house of the Cullens! Please everyone, I’d like you to meet my family.” He turned to the vampires and introduced them to the group one by one.

The first was his daughter Alice, who had the cutest shag bob haircut Daphne had ever seen on a person. She had the look of a predator who wore the face of a sweet and innocent prey. The glowing smile Alice gave the group was so surprisingly cute and warm that it almost completely dropped Daphne’s guard, but she reminded herself that these people could potentially rip her head off.

The next was the second daughter, Rosalie. This woman was closer to Daphne’s vision of what a vampire would look like. She was pale and beautiful, with glowing yellow hair just like Carlisle. But despite her warm hair, her expression was harsh and cold. Something about her made Daphne sad, but she didn’t understand completely why.

The third and final person was Carlisle’s beaming wife, Esme. Wait, wife? Daphne snapped back into the conversation at that moment, giving a sideways look at Velma who had obviously banged this husband and didn’t at all seem phased by the introduction of his wife. She was very shocked at her friend, as infidelity was very out of character for her. That surprise towards Velma deepened when she noticed a very knowing and flirty wink pass from Esme to Velma as they shook hands. Maybe group sex was a vampire thing? How’d they get Velma to do that? That seemed very exploratory and brave of Velma, good for her.

Focusing once again on Carlisle, she caught the last half of his sentence about how there were supposed to be other family members as well.

“I also have three sons,” He was saying. “Jasper and Emmett couldn’t be here because they are on a hunt, and my third son Edward is somewhere with that new wife of his. I don’t think you’ll meet them anytime soon, they are very independent and focused on their own little family. But Jasper and Emmett should pop in later if you stick around.”

Daphne for one was relieved that the whole coven wasn’t here. This was already very overwhelming. She was going to have to try her best to not be terrified of the three vampiric women in front of her all evening. However, the daughter Alice didn’t seem as frightening as the others. Maybe she could warm up to them if they don’t immediately eat her and her friends.

Everyone went inside the large open concept house, and Daphne was welcomed by the warm scent of Italian food. There was a large buffet style table of different types of pasta and salads that made her tummy rumble. In the middle was a big wicker basket full of fresh baguettes, and there were wine glasses at the end next to a couple of different expensive looking wine bottles. Shaggy and Scooby immediately dropped the shit-yourself expressions they had had up until then and excitedly ran for the table. Carlisle pleasantly invited the rest of them to take whatever food they wanted and join them in the main room for dinner.

Daphne walked up to the table with her big jock boyfriend right behind her and cautiously took a plate. She waited for Shaggy and Scooby to pile on huge portions and take off to the main room before she scooped herself little bites of the lasagna, carbonara, a baguette slice and a small portion of the walnut salad which she sprinkled with the homemade vinaigrette. Esme watched her take the vinaigrette and smiled excitedly.

“Rosalie and I spent a couple of hours making that from scratch, you’ll have to tell me how it is!”

“Oh, sure! That’s impressive, and very kind of you. Are you not going to have some?”

As soon as she said it, Daphne blanched, immediately regretting it. However, Esme just chuckled.

“I’m good, I ate earlier. I couldn’t eat this food anyways.” Esme then trotted off towards the main room with her wine glass of water.

After she recovered from her embarrassing question, Daphne joined everyone in the main room at a big long white table. She sat at the end next to Freddy, which was also directly across from the vampire with the cute bob. Alice smiled at her prettily, and Daphne couldn’t help but genuinely smile back. Shaggy and Scooby were already almost through their mountains of food, seeming to have forgotten their fear completely as they lost themselves in good Italian flavors.

And boy was it good food. Daphne took a small bite of the lasagna from her fork and her mouth was immediately flooded with happiness as an exquisite blend of spiced marinara and homemade pasta invited itself into her throat, hand in hand with the most luxurious ground beef. She couldn’t help but mutter a small “oh my god,” as she fell immediately into her next bite. Usually Daphne would feel awkward if there were people at the dinner table not eating with her, but how could she be when the food was this delicious?

“This is fantastic, guys! Did you make all this?”

The Cullens all beamed with pride, except for Rosalie whose stone-faced expression had not wavered but to allow a small expression of satisfaction.

“We’ve had a lot of time to explore hobbies, and cooking is a big one in our family. There’s a lot to learn when you have centuries to figure out a recipe.” Esme giggled. “We really never have human guests to try our cooking on, so it’s a huge pleasure for us to share this food with you.”

As the evening passed, Daphne began to feel more comfortable with the people in the room. There was casual chatting, joking, and genuine warmth coming from such physically cold people. All except Rosalie, who hadn’t interjected much but a few words here and there. After assessing her vibes of Rosalie, Daphne decided that it wasn’t bitterness but some sort of deep sadness that muted the vampire. There was probably some underlying trauma. But there had to be since she somehow became a vampire, right? Did that mean all vampires had trauma? Were the others better at hiding it?

Eventually the plates were cleared, first of food by the humans and then off the table by Carlisle. The conversation turned then to the reason they had all met here. The case. The case that felt like they had been working fifty years ago, not just a few hours ago. Daphne had completely forgotten about it.

“So, as you know, you guys are chasing a false vampire. This is a man who uses the guise of a vampire to harass the townspeople out of their money and land. Remember when I mentioned that my sons are out on a hunt? Well, we hunt dangerous shifters, werewolves, and rogue vampires. Game as well for food, but mainly we protect. This person pretending to be a vampire to pin his crimes on us does not sit well, especially since we work so hard to make sure the people on this land are safe. That being said, my family and I discussed this right after I heard it from Velma and we have decided to help you hunt this man. If not to destroy him, at least to expose his lies and make the town comfortable again.”

The mystery gang blinked around at each other, a little stunned by Carlisle’s proposition.

“Wow, thank you guys! That would be great!” Freddy said finally.

“Like, that fake vamp will never know what hit him!” Shaggy agreed.

Carlisle looked pleased as he continued.

“Velma informed us that this mysterious man took up residence in the manor on the hill a while ago, but by now he has moved on and must have different habit patterns. Well, Alice here has a special skill that I think will really help you with that.”

The group turned to Alice, who suddenly became bashful. Daphne thought vampires shouldn’t be able to blush, yet she could have sworn she saw some pink appear on this girl’s cheeks.

“Alice can glimpse into the future. If we can connect her to the suspect somehow, she should be able to track his movements.”

“Wait hold on,” Daphne interjected. “You can see the future?”

“Its more like I can read a person’s intentions.” Alice explained. “If someone is planning on doing something and then changes their mind, the image that I see also changes to reflect their new intention.”

“I’m more stuck on the see the future part. You’re a vampire and also you have powers? Could you see the future before you became a vampire?”

Alice shook her head.

“No, it’s an ability that was awakened within me when I was turned. Not all of us get gifts when we are born a vampire, but a few of us in this coven have them. And all vampires that have really powerful ones usually become part of our government.”

“So, the rest of you have powers too?” Freddy asked.

“Not all of us,” Esme jumped in. “In this family, it’s just Alice and Jasper. And also, Edward’s wife Bella has one.”

“Bro, Bella’s power is so crazy though.” A new voice chimed in.

The people at the table turned to see two men entering the room. One was a shorter man with short black hair and a jockish build. The other was a stiff blonde with long hair. The blonde had on the most curious expression yet, one that read that he needed to leave before he had an attack or something.

“Oh, everyone these are my sons. Emmett and Jasper.”

“Hey guys, what’s up?” Emmett the black-haired vampire replied. He grabbed a seat at the table next to his father, but Jasper walked right past the table and up the stairs. As he passed, Rosalie excused herself from the table and followed him up.

“Yeah Bella can like deflect everyone else’s powers, it’s really cool.” Emmett continued.

“Huh.” Freddy sat back, looking bewildered and somewhat excited. Basically, a reflection of exactly the way Daphne was also feeling.

“About the hunt,” Carlisle continued. “I think that if we bring Alice to the manor, she will be able to read his energy signatures and be able to track his intentions.”

“We can do that. When do we want to go?” Said Freddy.

“I’m free tomorrow night!” Alice smiled.

“yeah that work- oooh no wait, there’s a wrestling game tomorrow.” Freddy looked around apologetically. “I gotta be at the hotel for that, I’m sorry.”

At the mention of the wrestling moment, Emmett perked up excitedly.

“He’s a die hard, ignore him. We don’t all have to go anyways, why don’t I just take you back?” Daphne offered, feeling somewhat brave.

She didn’t really want to have to watch the match with Freddy anyways, and she knew Shaggy and Scooby were pretty scared of the manor in the first place. Velma might have come, but Daphne was sure she’d appreciate a little more alone time with Carlisle and Esme maybe. Good for her. Just as she thought, the other members of her gang didn’t offer any sort of rebuttal at the idea.

“That would be great!” Alice said cheerily. She was so darn cute, the way her smile lit up her face.

When the evening drew to a close and the gang said their cordial goodbyes, Daphne couldn’t help but feel a little excited for the night that was to come tomorrow. She would get to spend some real personal time with a creature she once thought to be a myth, and also one that made her happy just by looking at her sweet face. She slept soundly that night, dreaming about pixies and sirens that were singing to her softly.

_ _ _

The following evening, Daphne found herself behind the wheel of the mystery machine for only the third time. Freddy rarely trusted her to drive the vehicle, but today she had been allowed by pro wrestling and social convention. Next to her in the passenger seat sat Alice, who was cheerfully bobbing her head to the Phil Collins song playing on the radio.

“Ah, if she called me I'd be there! I'd come running anywhere, she's all I need, all my life.I feel so good if I just say the word, Sus-Sussudio”

Daphne smiled. Alice had a pretty voice, her soft fluty voice echoed sweetly against the windows in the mystery machine.

Eventually they pulled up to the familiar shadow of the manor that sat quietly on top of the hill. Daphne led Alice inside, and the two of them began to explore the quiet hallways once again. The manor was still as silent as before, no sign that anyone had been back in the time since the gang had been there. There was no presence but the eyes of the portraits that silently stared at them, their eyes full of unanswered questions and stony secrets.

The two did not exchange many words but to compliment a curtain here and a portrait there, but every once in a while, Alice would catch Daphne’s eye with a curious sparkle, one that would catch Daphne breathlessly under her gaze until Alice’s attention turned to the next book or statue in the room. This continued until an unseen force began to lure Alice down a specific corridor, pulling a curious Daphne close behind. They passed through a door and Daphne found herself in the master bedroom, the one that Freddy had been through but she herself had not seen.

True to Freddy’s word, the room looked like it had remained completely undisturbed for years. The bedding on the king-sized canopy bed was perfect and unwrinkled, yet coated with a light covering of dust. The deep green satin curtains that covered the tall windows were stiff and unwavering. There was a connected bathroom that looked completely untouched; despite the mild dusty smell, the porcelain of the sink and tub glistened without even a drop of water residue.

Alice wandered over to the large mahogany vanity that sat up against one of the walls next to the bed. She opened a drawer to reveal only one object inside; a small bronze locket.

“Interesting, this has to be the only thing in this whole room that belonged to our guy.” Alice lifted the locket and placed it into the palm of her hand, closing her fingers and her eyes as she began to feel this man’s essence.

“This locket belonged to someone he loved,” she said. Daphne watched her in silence for a moment, noticing the small flutter of Alice’s eyelids as she seemed to enter a dream state. After a minute of this, Alice’s eyes popped back open with her usual peppiness.

“I feel him now. This man’s thoughts are sporadic, he has a plan but the details are constantly changing. It’s almost as if its intentional, like he is choosing not to plan too far ahead about anything.”

“Is there anything you can see that can help us at all?” Daphne questioned.

“Well, there is one location that seems to keep coming up. I keep seeing the lighthouse on the edge of town. That may be a place where he’s hiding, or at least one he keeps going back to!”

“Fantastic! We totally have a lead. We can tell the others and head there soon!”

Alice beamed, then checked the time in the beautiful carved cuckoo clock hanging on the wall. “It is past ten right now, we don’t need to bother your friends with this until tomorrow.”

“You’re right. I guess we have some time then, should we head back?”

Alice shrugged. “I kind of like the quiet and the history of this place, why don’t we hang a little longer?”

“Okay!” Daphne said. “Is there something specific you want to do?”

“No, I just want to drink in the story of this place.”

Alice walked over to the dresser and opened it, revealing stacks of neatly folded shirts and undergarments. She lifted one out, a frilly laced collar shirt, and playfully held it up against herself to model at Daphne. “How do I look?”

“Stunning! That’s a great look on you.” Daphne said truthfully.

Alice giggled and returned the shirt to the drawer, lifting out a small wooden hairbrush in its place. She held it thoughtfully.

“It’s funny, these things have been placed here but not used, almost like this whole room is a cover up.”

She brought the locket back out of her pocket curiously and opened it, revealing a small picture of a woman. The photo was in black and white and so faded that the face was almost recognizable.

“He loved her so much.” Alice said.

“Who are they?” Daphne sat down on the bed, facing the vampire.

“He is your vampire, I can’t see much about him. It’s curious but it’s almost like he was expecting me to see him and is trying to confuse me. The woman I don’t see anything at all for, but I do sense a strong emotional bond. These two were together for a very long time, but something forced them apart. A death maybe? That may be why I can’t see her at all.”

Daphne leaned back on the bed.

“That gift you have is incredible. How did you learn to control it?”
Alice smiled, and joined her seated on the bed. She ran her hand across the red silk for a moment, enjoying the feeling on her skin.

“It began after I was transformed by Carlisle. At first, it was awful. Like I was having lucid dreams all the time while I was awake, about all the people around me but not myself. Then I started to notice that the things I was dreaming was predicting events in real time. I learned to focus on individuals to block out all the extra information, and now I can see only what I want to see. What the weather will be like, if my loved ones are in danger, if I’m going to have a good night or a bad night.”

“How about tonight? Good or bad?”
“Good, definitely good. This is a beautiful manor, and I have a beautiful woman to share it with.”

Daphne found herself blushing intensely, and then almost jumped out of her own throat when Alice’s hand gently covered her own. She glanced up to Alice’s golden eyes which were trained on her, unwavering and beautiful.

“Alice, can I ask you something?”

“Of course.”

“Are you coming on to me?”

Alice grinned.

“Yes, dummy! I figured you had caught on to that a while ago. Does it make you uncomfortable?”

“No! No, I uh, I haven’t flirted with anyone since Freddy and I got together. I just didn’t know how to react to be honest.”“Oh, well if you are flirting with someone and you are both interested, you react like this.”

Before Daphne could even process what she was doing, Alice leaned in and kissed her. It was a long deep kiss, and Daphne immediately fell into how soft and lush Alice’s mouth was. It was much softer than any other kiss she could remember, and for a moment she was lost in it. Then, she drew back, breaking the spell momentarily.

“Wait, I’m with Freddy. How did you know I would be interested?”

“Darling, I can see the future, remember? I already know how tonight ends. Don’t worry about Freddy, you and him are about to experience a whole new world of openness and sexuality.”

Daphne was about to ask her what she meant by that, but then Alice’s mouth made contact again and she instantly forgot about it.

The two of them made out on the bed, petting each other’s hair and caressing each other’s faces. As Daphne grew more and more obsessed with the feeling of Alice’s lips, she briefly questioned why she had been exclusive to Freddy for so long. He was a fine lover, but nothing came close to the kiss of a woman.

The two women broke apart in a moment of mutual understanding. Together they removed their dresses, and the two of them giggled when they revealed they were both wearing lacey bras. Daphne scooted herself further back on the bed, centering herself in the middle of the pile of pillows and giggling as Alice drew closer to her on her hands and knees. Their mouths made contact again, and this time their hands began to drift lower, at first appreciating the roundness of each other’s breasts. Daphne wondered if Alice was a boob girl, but she seemed to be enjoying the lace of the bra, so the cute lingerie was staying on this time.

Alice’s hand began to roam farther still, first cupping the warmth of Daphne’s crotch. Daphne softly bucked against her, the fabric of her underwear becoming damp with her arousal. When Alice’s cool fingers slid into her underwear and began to rub her slit, Daphne shivered. The smooth fingers immediately connected with her clitoris, like they had found it a thousand times before. They began to rub her in a small circular pattern.

Daphne groaned into the kiss and began to reciprocate, her hands finding the hem of Alice’s panties and sliding inside. It had been some time since she had been with a person who had a vagina, but having experience being a vagina owner herself, her hands very quickly found an effective clit-stimulating motion that was confirmed by Alice’s own growl of approval. The two women fingered each other, savoring the feeling of each other’s vaginas becoming slick to the touch. Eventually Daphne brought both hands to the hem of the panties to pull them down, exposing Alice’s cute vagina to her eyes. Alice mirrored her, and in a moment both ladies were in nothing but the lace cupping the swell of their chests.

Alice hit a particularly good spot with her fingers that caused Daphne to break out of the heavy makeout session and moan loudly, her head hitting the soft down pillow behind her. She was for a moment embarrassed until she remembered that the two of them were alone in a manor and not sharing a wall with the rest of the mystery gang. Her hand mimicked the increase in speed that Alice had supplied, and the two of them began to crest in tandem. Alice bucked and moaned at the same time that Daphne yelled her orgasm.

Coming down from her high, Daphne’s breath was stolen again as Alice hungrily ate at her mouth once again. Not in a hungry vampire way, but in a sexually charged lesbian way. Alice slid herself more over the top of Daphne, bringing her legs up to slide around her. She crisscrossed their legs over one another until they were sitting in such a way that their vaginas connected together. Then, she began to grind.

Daphne’s hips involuntarily jerked at the sudden full contact. The slipperiness of their girl cum mixed with the heavy grinding motion created a delicious friction that she had so rarely ever achieved with Freddy. She basked in it, grinding with the same movements Alice was doing to her. The two of them scissored back and forth for a few minutes, until the vampire’s golden eyes seemed to grow brighter and she shivered in a second orgasm, coming to a halt and convulsing on Daphne’s pussy. She stopped for a moment and slid back just enough to allow Daphne’s desperate hand to slide between them and quickly jerk at her own clit, chasing Alice towards her own second orgasm. When she hit it, Alice smiled and reveled in the image of Alice’s back arching and her toes curling in ecstasy.

Alice sighed and rolled onto her back next to Daphne on the mattress, and the two of them panted for a moment. Daphne then tilted toward her new lover.

“Why me? Why are you attracted to me?” Daphne asked, as her hand slid across them and back to Alice’s clit where she began to softly rub the sensitive organ.

“I am very drawn to strong attractive women,” Alice began, humping back towards the soft movement of Daphne’s hand. “I knew from the moment I saw you that you are destined for greatness. Plus, I love a redhead.” She giggled, her giggle turning into a harsh gasp as the rubbing of Daphne’s fingers suddenly triggered the oversensitive flesh to go into a third orgasm.

“I’m going to help you solve this case, and then you’re not going to be able to get rid of me.”

“You know, that’s just fine with me.” Replied Daphne, before rolling over to be on top of Alice to attack her mouth once more. For the rest of the night the women were at it, off and on with only a few hours of real sleep. By morning, each woman awoke feeling more satisfied than they had felt in months.
