Work Text:
Somehow you and Diluc had ended up taking care of Klee; now the three of you are on a bolder, in the middle of blazing grass.
Klee had now pulled out another stash of jumpty dumpties, already aiming at a nearby hilichurl. Throwing it at the poor creature, it landed right beside the hilichurl’s feet-as if it wasn’t already walking in flames.
Diluc and Y/N who had both laid down on your backs was alerted by the small explosion. You both sat up and looked on at the monster.
“You think we should help her?” Y/N asked, letting out a little giggle as another bomb landed beside it.
Diluc sighed, “I think she has this handled.” A third bomb was throw, laughter escaping the small gremlin; this time she didn’t miss.
________
“So you’re telling me, that Jean trusted you, with Klee?” You said, you looked over at the small girl who had already laid out her jumpty dumpty making materials. The sun shining through the window. Her red dress reflecting the sunlight, lighting up the room.
Diluc looked up from the spot he was seated at the dining table; documents scattered wildly in front of him. “Since when did I become so untrust worthy?” He lifted his red and gold tea cup -that was full of grape juice- and took an elegant sip. “I didn’t have the intention of taking her for the week, but Jean said I was the last option.”
Klee worked faithfully at her bombs, cackling every now and then. Her work space rapidly growing bigger. Adelinde looked over at Mater Diluc with a anxious look. He nodded back with a calm expression.
“Not that I don’t trust you, but I’m just surprised that Klee came,” You took a place across the table from him. And stole his cup of Grape juice, “Doesn’t she think of you as that ‘weird grown ups’?”
