Mickey and Ros hold an annual Christmas party in a castle for their closest friends and colleagues. This year, Mickey suggested an ugly sweater extravaganza. “To change things up,” he had mentioned. He wanted something light and not pretentious for once, especially after the year he had with bad business and all…
Raymond wasn't keen on the idea when his boss told him but with how excited you were to attend a party together for the first time as a couple, he’d risk humiliation (by his standards).
And for you, Raymond would do just about anything.
The night of the party, he shows up at your flat donning a cute sweater. Ugly? Not to your standards but avant-garde enough for your darling Ray to be uncomfortable.
“Three hours.” He wastes no time speaking as soon as the door opens. “You get me in this awful jumper for three hours and then I change.”
“We had a deal, Ray. Three hours is just enough for me.” You smile and reach for his extended arm. “Shall we?”
“We shall.”
