Everyone knew that the children's disappearances happened here at Freddy Fazbears Mega Pizza Plex and yet its still open and thriving. So why were you here despite everything that’s happened?
Your parents had given tickets to come here, and you'd be lying if you said you weren't interested.
That leads us to here. Despite being a mid-teen, your inner child was sparked, you were blessed with the neon colours and reflective starry black floor when entering the huge mall-like building. Your parents had already wondered off somewhere, you could see them in the distance but clearly, they didn't mind you wondering off by yourself.
Each step you took made a satisfying click on the ground. You made your way through some gates and obtained a fazwatch which was highly customizable, given to you by a staff robot. You prefer the default options so you didn’t customize the watch.
You made your way to the centre of the entrance, coming across a hallway filled with rooms for each member of the band. Nobody was in there as there was one of the major performances going on. You had booked the performance after the one ongoing. Checking the time, 10:30am. We must be there for 12. A long time to spare.
You checked the map and internally grunted. We can only obtain a map from one of those robots...
Eyes locked on the ground you wondered mindlessly until you came across a golden statue of two figures. Looking like a sun and moon based animatronic? You stood there and looked around. Posters were tattered around the room with coloured versions of the huge golden statues.
"Sunnydrop and moondrop, mm?"
Looking around there were party rooms which were boarded off by a gate. You could probably jump over it but you decided against it as you saw a few staff robots on the other side. Looking around for other things, there was a spiralled, rainbow slide. It looked like it was the only way you could go. Before entering, you peered beside it and looked down to see the slide ended inside a ball pit.
You took a deep breath and seated yourself in the edge of the slide before pushing yourself down. Your glad you aren’t wearing shorts or else you would have gotten a major friction burn, The twists and turns of the slide slightly made your sides ached. The sudden realisation of you weren't the targeted audience made you cringe and feel pretty stupid.
Now you landed in a ball pit and decided to try get out of this 'daycare' as soon as possible. You took about two whole steps through the ball pit until you saw that sun animatronic step out of a platform on the wall. It kinda reminded you of Romeo and Juliet.
"Hooo! Hooo hooo!"
You watched it spin around smoothly with satisfying clicks and then dive into the ball pit.
Your stomach turned.
"Oh fuck no"
You jolted backwards as you hit the slide.
"That thing is in here with me. Oh hell no…"
You saw those movies of people getting picked off one by one in similar scenarios. You want out. Now. Attempting to climb back up the slide resulted in you sliding back down miserably.
"…Uugh. Is this where I die? Is this where my precious life ends?"
The sarcasm in your voice tried to cover up the slight hint of nervousness. Who wouldn’t be nervous in this scenario though? Going through the ball pit was the only way to get out and going back up the slide didn’t work. Finally, you took a few steps towards the exit of the ball pit before getting yanked up. You yelped and slammed your eyes shut and holding your hands up, expecting the worst.
"Helloooo! New friend! Did you enjoy the slide? And- And the ball pit? Did 'cha? Did 'cha?"
You were expecting there to be any kind of violence to be struck onto you but no hits came at you. The voice was beaming at you. You stiffened in the animatronics arms for a few moments of silence between you and the animatronic until you opened your eyes slightly, you saw his face, extremely close to yours. Not even realising he was taking you somewhere in his arms.
“You sure did take your sweet, sweet time in the ball pit! I hope you had fun! I love the ball pit too!”
The animatronic seemed to notice your stiffness and put you down gently on a pink bridge which took you out of the ball pit.
You gulped, he wasn't scary, you're braver than that, right?
"A-are you sunnydrop?"
Your voice came out shakier than expected but it seemed the animatronic didn't mind.
"Aha ha ha ha!! I'm sun silly!! Sunnydrop is the name of my candy though!"
'Sun' was doing an idle motion with his arms swaying rather hypnotically. How could animatronics even move that smoothly and human-like?
"Say new friend! Are you bored? In need of some fun activities?! I have glitter glue, finger paint, puppet shows...!"
This guy felt like the opposite of monotone, his voice was filled with kindness, despite his.... slightly off-putting appearance, he was very animated too.
"Say new friend! Are you bored? In need of some fun activities?! I have glitter glue, finger paint, puppet shows...!"
He said it again? Why?
"I don't know if you've noticed but... I'm.. a bit older than everyone else here, i don't think I'll like any of those activities? Sorry?"
There was a pause. Look at you, talking to an animatronic as if he were real?
"Now, now new friend! There’s much more to our daycare than that! There are snacks, 100% SAFE equipment here for fun for any age!"
There was a pause as you watched the animatronic. He spun his head a whole 360⁰ and then continued again. Only a bit less energetic than before.
"However! You are free to leave any time! I could give you a tour of the Freddy Fazbear Mega Pizza Plex... It is not against the rules for me to do that new friend!"
"-But.. Why not have a look around here! There’s lots to do! There’s lots to see!"
You sighed internally; this robot was making you play in the daycare. Is this because of how this animatronic looked sad if we left so soon? Technology these days... you sighed and nodded.
"Ah fine, fine!"
The animatronic swirled his head and hopped on each foot
"Oh! We're going to have so much fun, friend! I cant wait! Oh i just cant wait! Up we go-!"
The robot picked you up and placed you on his shoulders. You held onto his shoulders, near his neck, to steady yourself.
"Sorry new friend if carrying you is too much! Most people do not read the terms and conditions when entering which states we can interact with customers. However! If you do not like this! I can put you down and you can follow me, new friend!"
Wow. You were speechless, nobody asked if you were okay with something like that, normally they’d just accept that your parents had practically signed you over, normally you’re okay with that but it made you happy, that someone wanted to double check, even if the person asking is an animatronic. You held on tighter and lightly smiled. Your smile left quick when you realised what the animatronic said. ‘What? Animatronics have our consent? What the hell’ you thought to yourself. Only in fazbear entertainment I bet.
"uh. Its okay, thank you for asking though. I mean it"
The animatronic seemed happy with that and began skipping around the daycare, not going inside but doing a tour around. And to be honest, it all looked quite fun.
“There’s the ball pit, there’s the fingerpaints, there’s where we eat lunch and snack! Oh tasty snacks! We play with puppets there as well, we can play hide and seek! I’m the seeker normally hooo hooo!”
The narration of what we can do went on and on, you couldn’t say any stuck out to you though.
During the daycare tour that sundrop was giving you personally, the time left your mind. As the realisation hit you, you jerked and fell back and hit the floor. It only stung, the floor had a slightly spongy feel to it, lightening your fall. You wouldn't be embarrassed if sundrop wasn’t going to make a big deal about it.

"HOO! AH NEW FRIEND?!" Right on cue. Sundrop swirled around with his endless energy to look at you."NEW FRIEND ARE YOU ALRIGHT? Do you need to go get patched up? Any cuts? Any bruises? Oh no! NO!"
Sundrops breathing intensified and it stopped as quick as it started. In a flash he had knelt on the floor, hovering his hands over you, not sure what to do before jumping back up and putting a hand over his sun spikes as if pushing hair out of his face. His head made a 360-degree rotation and he sighed as he looked back at you.
His hand was out to help you back up but he quickly changed his idea and went to cradling you in his arms.
Any stinging you had was overtaken by embarrassment. You felt like a baby, your face slightly flushed now.
“I am so sorry new friend! I’m sorry. I’M SORRY!-”
"HEY! Let me go! Please."
You voice had fragments of sternness and the animatronic put you down almost instantly, it seemed your voice also pushed the animatronic out of what it just went through as well momentarily.
"Oh ho! New friend! I want to know if you are okay! Are A-okay! I'm sorry! I'M-! New friend? Are you okay?"
Was it freaking out over suck a small thing? You placed a hand on his shoulder which seemed to make him look up at you.
"Hey its alright sunny. I'm fine but... i really have to go its..."
"ALMOST 12!? OH FUC-"
"New friend! Hooo how time flies when your are with your new friend sun here! But do not worry! Your good pal sun will help you get to the centre stage!"
11:55 to be precise..
Before you could finished, sundrop interrupted you. Must have been because of almost swearing..
Sun did a finalising swirl with his leg pointed out as if a ballerina.
"HE HE HE! At times of emergencies i can take a shortcut with a fellow customer slash new friend! friend!"
“Hooo Hooo Hooo! However my good new friend! I need to check you are okay! Any bruises? And grazes? Need anything? ANYTHING?!”
You just knew this animatronic wouldn’t let you go without telling you, you’re okay. But you looked at your arms and stood up and stretched. You stood there before looking back up at sun who had his head slightly tilted at you.
“I.. I think I have a graze on both my elbows”
You said as you tried to turn your arms to see them. Only mildly successful as you could see small red patches.
Sun opened a compartment in his bicep and took out two plasters and a special looking wipe.
“I, your great pal sun won’t let you leave before I know you’ll be okay! So! Follow me! It’s not fair, not far at all new friend!”
Sun walked slow enough for you as you followed you to a counter.
“OH! Ha ha.. New friend this may hurt a little bit! But I’m sure you’re strong and brave enough! It’ll be over soon!”
Sun got a special wipe which had disinfectant on and gently wiped your elbows before placing a plaster onto the grazes. Even though the wipe was a disinfectant, it barely stung. They were quite childish plasters as one had a Monty face on and the other had a Roxy face on, but you didn’t mind as they did they job and you couldn’t really see them or notice them.
Looking up at sun, even though his face always the same, you felt as if he were smiling more than usual.
“Uhm. Thank you but can I go now? I need to get to that big show. It started at 12..” You said quietly. Glancing at your fazwatch. 12 exactly…
“OH HO? No can do friend! I want to make sure you’re okay! Don’t worry though friend, I will get you to where you need to be! Relax! Relax my good friend!”
Sundrop did an elegant swirl and had a packaged sandwich in his hand and held it out to you
“It has been awhile my friend! Please have a little snack! You don’t need to eat all of it, as much as you want, you see! You need some energy at least!”
“Can I just eat it on the way?”
“Okie-dokie new friend! Just be careful! Eating on the move could be dangerous! Now! Now! Follow your good friend sun! I know a shortcut.”
Good for you, he began to walk towards a cloud which also acted as a secret door which he opened and did a slight animated bow to let you go first, you did and then watched as he closed the cloud shaped door whilst you ate some of your sandwich. You turned back and saw him walk in front of you through a straight hallway which was lit up with a warm yellow light.
You had finished what you wanted of the sandwich and just kept the packaging in a your pocket until you’d see a bin. Sun quickly came to a stop in front of another door as he pushed it open. It ended out in a hallway, you have quite a bit to go until you reach the mainstage.
“Good friend! As you have finished your lovely snack, do you mind if we go slightly faster? I understand how we may be running late to the big show which you wanted to go to so would you do the honours?”
He said as he held out his hand for you. As if you were royalty.
You looked at his hand for a moment, it matched his colour palate and looked long and slender. You took it. It wasn't long till you were practically running slightly behind him. He was skipping. Maybe it was a good technique? You followed his skipping patterns and it wasn’t long till you understood his style of movement for the time being. And every step there wasnt a moment of silence.
His presence was overwhelming but he looked so friendly you couldn't help but trust him.
"I take it you haven’t looked around anywhere else hooo hooo?" Instead of the constant blabbering about something useless, sun gave you a question, but quickly continuing his dialog. "I'd guess not as my daycare is one of the first things guests stumble upon hahaha!"
You wish you could take in the scenery but you were already running late to the main show so you'd hopefully do it later, besides, it was already a work out to keep up with sun and how you ate something. Maybe you could ask him to carry you...
"Hooo Hooo Hooo! New friend! We are almost there! You can see it in the distance! Normally... anyone late wouldn't be able to enter however! However, new friend! This is my fault as my fun daycare made us both lose track of time! Oh precious time! So this can be my way of apologising new friend!"
You took a moment to think. yeah, that made sense, that’s pretty kind. And here you thought that this place was practically a scam. You still believe that, but not as much now...
Upon getting closer, sun guided you through a place which required a ticket which you didn’t have but sun used a ticket they had. You didn’t see what was on it but it must have been exclusive to the staff and animatronics here. You could feel eyes on you as you went through a hallway separate from the other guests. But that went away as soon as the hallway ended, it was quite short anyway.
"Hahaha! Neat trick isn't it new friend! We're here! Here! Here! Will you be okie-dokie finding your parents? Will you be safe? Do you need any help? Help from your good pal sun!?”
Sun had come to a stop but continued to hold your hand as it was still busy and he didn't want you to get hurt or lost, its not as safe as his daycare, you guess. You look around aimlessly to look for your parents... with no luck. You couldn’t tell if it was because you were shorter than some of the adults, or if it were busy or if your parents weren’t nearby.
"Uhm. Sun, right? I dont know where my parents are. They said they'd be here.."
That sentence looked like it flicked a dialogue switch.
"Oh ho! New friend not to worry! Not to be upset! I can do a missing child message, or you can use your fazwatch to look on the cameras and find where your parents are! If you know the names of your parents, or their number of their entrance ticket, we can track their location on the fazwatch as well!"
Sundrop spun for a moment and went back to holding your hand and pointing his finger on his other hand at the fazwatch you had on your wrist as well as small clicks coming from the sun spikes being spun around and rotated on sun.
Being honest you didn’t understand all of what sun had said for options, but you did want to watch the show.
"Uhm. Can you show me how to get the cameras up? I'll look for them for that. And uh.... Can you stay here till I find them?"
Being honest, you weren't totally trusting in the other animatronics here, they gave off an odd 'aura'. But it was relieving when you saw sun nod and gave a thumbs up at you.
"No problemo new friend! You are all safe with me! Here lets get out of the way, it sure it busy round this area!" Sun guided you again, it was up against a pillar with a small bench where you sat and sun was hovering just behind you. Pointing over your shoulder and instructing you on how to get to the cameras in the fazwatch happily.
Whilst you were looking on the cameras for your parents sundrop placed a small piece of candy on the table Infront of you.
"Here! I have one of these for you if you're hungry! These are the sunnydrops haha! They're good! They're super duper tasty! We ran here so I understand why you might be a bit tired! I’m sorry! Sorry for that.!”
You took a moment away from looking on the cameras and turned your focus onto the sunnydrop candy. Upon unwrapping the warm coloured packaging you saw a hard sweet which was yellow-orange. You looked up at sun who was practically beaming at you. Looking back down you put it in your mouth all at once and decided to just let it dissolve in your mouth. The flavours were surprisingly strong, but it tasted nice? That’s all you cared about.
"Oh! Haha! New friend! Sunnydrops might make you feel a bit more energetic, but it won’t make much difference!"
"Thank you sun" You quietly spoke as you looked up to sun who was still standing and slightly fiddling with his hands. After shooting sun a smile you went back to looking on the cameras.
"AHA!" You practically jumped up and pointed at your fazwatch.
"Sun! There they are!" You pointed and looked back at sun with a small grin.
"Well done new friend! That wasn't too bad! I know where to get there! You're doing great new friend!"
Sun offered a hand again which you instantly took. And then, you both were off again. Now you could actually take in the area. It was a huge space, like a mall with a huge stage and you were already so close to the stage which had laser illusions of the animatronic band. It felt unreal. It was so nice. It took you awhile to notice sun wasn’t so speedy, yes, he was skipping but not as fast. It was a nice break from the fast running you had to do to keep up.
Your parents came into sight, but even so you didn’t let go of sun and instead waited till you got there. Sun let go when you got close enough and did that idle motion again of his arms swaying with those accompanying clicks.
"Hellooooo, new friends friends! Sorry if I kept them but I made sure they were safe! All unharmed! Its all good! Sweet and dandy! I am sun the daycare attendant. As you, my new friend, are safe and not lost anymore, i shall go back to the daycare! Enjoy the show! The great show! You know where to find me so enjoy!"
Sun took a step to leave before stopping to sneak a second piece of sunnydrop candy on the table besides you. He turned around to look at you then tiled his head with a thumbs up then exited with a final swirl on his tiptoes and an animated bow then began to skip back the way you came.
And you watched him as he left. Giving a wave and muttering sun a thank you and goodbye. You peered at your fazwatch again. 12:06? Wow all that running and yet it took five minutes to get here. Youre thankful as if it wernt for sun you would have taken longer to get here, not to mension probably get lost. After all that you decided to take a seat on a bench and watch the show. Having a look at the scenery around everything as well, everything felt so overwhelming, it was hard to take everything in. During the big main show, it left you thinking about sun. You never told him your name, it went by so fast and at some point, you want to meet him again.
