Work Text:
George yawned softly as he walked over to lay next to Dream on the bed.
On their bed.
Or, well, it was still technically Dream’s bed.
But George also slept in it.
Things were complicated.
Had been, ever since they did those interviews.
They passed, the government believes their marriage to be real, which they happily celebrated as it means George gets to stay in the country.
But then they were left with this unsure feeling of, what was the marriage to them? What actually is their relationship now?
Was all that practice just, practice?
Was it more than that?
It sure felt like a whole lot more than that.
But as time progressed, they kept acting almost entirely like normal, and the subject was left untouched. And they.. sort of slipped into some kind of in between.
Not friendship, certainly not that. But, it’s not like they were an actual couple either.
It was some.. weird confusion.
Some strange thing both of them kept dancing around.
And it bothered George.
Especially that night, as he laid awake staring at the ceiling.
He’d been doing that a lot the past few days, laying awake and staring at nothing.
Wondering what the hell they were doing.
Wondering what it all meant.
And then he’d wake up every morning with Dream’s arms around him. Making him feel so safe and warm, feeling like he belonged.
But did he?
He’d sort of figured out his own feelings at this point, as it became near impossible to deny it anymore.
But since they never sat down and fully talked about it, he had no idea if those feelings were mutual or if Dream was just enjoying the physical parts of whatever they were doing.
What was all of this to Dream?
George sighed, turning his head to the side, looking over at Dream who laid next to him. He took in his profile, unsure if he was also laying awake or not.
He then watched Dream turn his head to face him, their gazes meeting.
It made George’s breath hitch slightly, holding Dream’s intense gaze as his heart sped up just the slightest.
Dream then silently reached his hand over, his fingers gently brushing some hair out of George’s face.
George then watched Dream as he propped himself up on his elbow, before leaning over, getting close to him. Hovering right above him, their noses almost touching.
He then whispered, softly,
“Goodnight, George.”
Before leaning down to kiss him.
The kiss was soft, yet short, as Dream only lingered there for a moment before pulling back to look at him again.
Sharing a goodnight kiss was something they’d kept doing every night, even though they didn’t have to keep up this whole pretend marriage act anymore.
But every single time, it would make George’s confusion over their situation almost double. As that moment was so sweet, so soft, so loving.
George kept his gaze on Dream as he lingered there for a moment, feeling his heart clench in his chest.
He truly was falling for him, more and more as each day went by.
But if Dream doesn’t feel the same way, George has to know.
And he has to know now, before it’s too late. Before he gets his heart broken.
“Dream,”
He said, speaking softly.
Dream’s gaze raised to his eyes, right as he mumbled,
“Yeah?”
His voice still sounding so soft, so.. loving.
George swallowed, suddenly feeling a bit nervous.
He’d thought about bringing this up with Dream many times before, actually sit down and have the talk they so desperately needed to have.
But he always chickened out.
Always so afraid to disturb what they have, to accidentally ruin it.
But at the same time, they really can’t go on like this anymore.
Someone has to bring it up.
He exhaled his nerves, gaze avoiding Dream’s.
His lips then parted, his tongue struggling to find the right position to even begin expressing his words in.
How does he even start-
He shut his eyes,
“Dream, what-“
There was a sudden knock on the door, startling them both.
And before George even had the time to process what was happening, Dream began moving, throwing the covers over George,
“Hide!”
He hissed hurriedly, speaking in a hushed voice.
George sunk down below the covers, keeping himself hidden as he heard the door swing open.
“Dreeeeam,”
George rolled his eyes at Sapnap’s immediate whining.
“What?”
Dream responded, sounding tense, on edge.
“I don’t know if my latest video idea is good or not.”
Sapnap complained.
“Sapnap- can’t we take this in the morning or something?”
George could hear Sapnap approach the bed, making him swallow as nerves built up.
“But last time you said that you never actually talked to me. All you did was spend time with George.”
“Alright alright but, we’ll talk tomorrow, okay?”
“Do you promise?”
“Sapnap, you’re being ridiculous. Go to bed.”
George could hear Sapnap sigh.
He then heard Dream get out of bed, then walk over to Sapnap.
“We’ll talk tomorrow, I promise.”
“Fine. But if you stand me up again you owe me a box of Pokémon cards.”
“Oh come on, that’s ridiculous.”
“Not if you own up to your promise.”
George could hear them approaching the door, and now he was just waiting for Dream to finally shut the door.
“Actually, Dream, now when I think of it, buy me Pokémon cards instead of a video idea.”
“Shut up you idiot, I’m not buying you anything.”
George suppressed a snort, listening to Dream say,
“Go to bed, Sapnap.”
“Fine. Goodnight, Dream.”
“Goodnight,”
Dream mumbled, as George could hear him finally shut the door.
And the moment he did, George threw the covers off him, looking right at Dream,
“What are we, Dream?”
Dream stood frozen in place next to the door. Staring back at George for a silent, tense moment.
He then said,
“What?”
“Answer the question, Dream.”
“I don’t.. I don’t know, George. We’re.. us? We’re DNF.”
It irked George slightly, seeing Dream flash a slight smile as he mentioned their joint ship name. It made him feel like he wasn’t taking his question seriously. Didn’t take them seriously.
“And what does that mean?”
Dream gave a shrug,
“Why are you even asking me this right now, George?”
George stared at him for a moment longer. Feeling tense, his heart beating fast.
He then turned his head to face the ceiling, regretting even bringing it up.
It was definitely a mistake bringing it up.
He heard Dream’s footsteps approach the bed, but he didn’t look at him.
“George,”
He didn’t answer him, wanting to just sink into the bed and disappear.
“Do you wanna go away with me?”
What?
He turned his head slightly to look up at Dream,
“What?”
Dream shrugged, his hand placing next to George’s as it laid resting on the bed, fingers carefully brushing against George’s hand.
“I think, I mean, we should just rent some place and stay there for a day or two. Just be us. Alone, together.”
George stared at him, unsure of how that had anything to do with this situation.
“I think it could help us figure this out.”
Dream then said, voice lowering slightly.
“How would that help us?”
George asked quietly, gaze flickering down to where Dream’s fingers carefully began playing with his own fingers.
“I don’t know, we could do a bunch of stuff we can’t do here. You know, be loud.. just be ourselves.”
Oh.
Right, suppose it has been hard for them to be alone lately, and that might’ve contributed to their current confusion more than he thought.
Maybe going away for a moment just the two of them would do them good.
“What do you say, George?”
Dream asked, voice soft. Fingertips gently tracing George’s fingers.
George let a silent moment pass before he began to nod, looking up at Dream,
“Fine. Let’s go away together, Dream.”
Dream began looking for a place to rent that same night, sitting up and scrolling on his phone until he’d found a place that could be good enough.
George laid watching him, gaze tracing his features as his phone screen illuminated his face in the darkness.
He then watched as Dream’s face lit up, almost brighter than the actual light from the screen. A big smile growing on his lips.
“George,”
He whispered softly, a hint of excitement in his voice.
“What?”
George said back, hearing the softness in his own voice as he spoke.
And, of course, he was already smiling him too. It was near impossible not to when Dream had that expression on his face.
His smile was just so infectious.
“I found something,”
Dream mumbled, turning the screen to show George.
He looked at it, brows hitching up a bit as he took in the picture in front of him.
It was a beautiful beach house, situated right by the ocean. It looked like the type of place you’d want to go on a vacation to.
“Do you like it?”
Dream asked as George felt his gaze on him, excitedly awaiting his feedback.
“Yeah,”
George said as his gaze shifted to Dream,
“It’s nice, Dream.”
He mumbled, smiling.
Dream huffed, bringing his screen back around to look at it again,
“I mean, it’s more than nice.”
George scoffed and rolled his eyes at his nitpicking of his words, sighing softly as he stretched his arms over his head. Yawning before he rolled over slightly to lay closer to Dream.
“You want me to book it? Cause I mean it, George. I wanna do this with you.”
George gave a slight giggle as he rubbed his face with his hands. He then groaned softly,
“Dream,”
“What?”
Dream said through a fond chuckle, watching him.
“Do you wanna do this or not, George?”
George looked up at him,
“Yes.”
“So should I book it?”
“Yes.”
“Then why are you being an idiot about it?”
Dream said as he lightly bumped George with his elbow, resuming his attention to his phone to find where he could book it.
George rolled onto his back, giving a slightly airy chuckle.
It was just so sudden.
Did Dream actually mean this?
Was he being serious?
Were they actually gonna go away together? Just the two of them?
Was this real?
“Alright. I’ve booked it. We leave for two nights next weekend.”
Dream said after about five minutes of silence had passed.
George sat up in the bed, staring at him,
“What? You- actually?”
Dream chuckled,
“Yes, you idiot. What, you thought I was joking or something?”
“Maybe, I don’t know.”
“George!”
Dream said as he chuckled.
“So we’re actually going away together?”
George asked, still in disbelief.
“Yes!”
“Just us two? No one else?”
“Yes, George. Just you and me.”
George put a hand on his cheek, a soft huff escaping him as he felt his face grow hot.
Just him and Dream. Alone, in a beach house, for two days.
So much they could do with that time.
“Oh my god,”
He said under his breath as he laid back down, his mind running with all the things that could happen in those two days.
“You’re really excited about this, huh?”
Dream teased, making George roll his eyes lightly,
“Shut up, Dream.”
He mumbled, sounding slightly flustered.
But in all truth, he was excited.
Really, really excited.
The week went by rather slowly, and George found himself packing for the trip five days early.
And despite the fact that they were only staying for two nights, he couldn’t help but overpack as if they’d be gone for a whole week.
So when the day came for them to finally leave, he felt quite prepared.
They left early morning, waving goodbye to Sapnap before they took off with the car.
The house they’d rented was situated right by the ocean, but the drive over didn’t take as long as expected.
During the car ride they listened to music, whilst keeping the windows rolled down with hot air brushing their faces. Smiles on both of their lips whenever a song came on that they both recognized and couldn’t help but sing along to.
George would sing with a ridiculous pitch that would make Dream laugh as he was driving. Eyes turning into crescents as he kept stealing quick glances at George, who kept doing his best to make him laugh even more.
There was just something about Dream’s laugh, which similarly to his smile was so infectious.
It made butterflies flutter in George’s stomach, and a prideful feeling settled in his chest whenever he managed to bring that laughter out of Dream.
The song ‘Maniac’ by Michael Sembello was blasting from the car speakers as the ocean first came into view, making George give out a,
“Woooo!”
At the sight of it, excited to be nearing their destination.
And the view of the ocean itself was just breathtaking.
Dream turned the music up, humming along to it as he drove a bit faster.
George chuckled, taking notice of the higher speed. It sparked his curiosity, his gaze flickering over to Dream,
“Is that the fastest you can go, Dream?”
Dream glanced at him then, a devious grin on his lips and something dangerous in his eyes,
“Is that a challenge, George?”
George looked back at him, a protest on his tongue.
But for some reason, he didn’t feel like uttering it.
For some reason, he wanted Dream to do whatever was on his mind.
Take that risk. Be dangerous.
See what happens.
So he raised a brow in response, saying,
“I don’t know, is it?”
His words made Dream’s grin grow, his foot pressing down on the gas pedal.
It made George give out a laugh as the car picked up speed, swooshing by cars on the highway, going faster and faster.
George’s hand blindly searched for Dream’s arm, grabbing his bicep as he scream-laughed,
“Dream!!”
Gaze unable to leave the road ahead of them as they were reaching a faster speed than George had ever experienced before.
“Dream- wait- Dream!“
“What? It’s fine, George!”
Dream said as he sped up a bit more, driving even faster. The car giving off a ‘WROOM’ sound, making George gasp, then give out an excited giggle.
His heart was beating so fast, and there was a pit in his stomach. The danger of it all both exhilarating and terrifying at the same time.
“Dream- oh my god-“
Dream laughed, but then began to slow down. Finally, as the song came to an end.
“That was fun.”
Dream said as he was driving at a more regular speed.
George huffed, a big smile on his face as he swatted at his arm,
“You’re an idiot, oh my god.”
“What? You wanted me to do it.”
“I never said that.”
“Oh come on. You loved it.”
George groaned, then sighed, glancing at Dream.
Maybe he did.
Maybe just a little bit.
The house was just about as beautiful and breathtaking in real life as it had been in the the pictures.
And as they parked on the driveway, they could hear the sound of the ocean waves in the background, which truly added even more to the scenery.
“Wait here.”
Dream mumbled to George after he’d rolled up all the windows of the car.
He then stepped out of it, shutting the door behind him as he pulled his phone out of his pocket.
George watched him walk over to the mailbox, before typing in some sort of pin code into it that he seemed to be reading off his phone. The mailbox then popped open and he fetched something out of it.
He then shut it again and went back to the car.
“Alright, let’s head inside,”
He said to George as he opened the car door, dangling the house keys he’d just fetched from the mailbox.
George got out of the passenger seat, then walked around to watch Dream get their bags from the back after opening up the trunk.
Dream then carried their bags to the door, as George followed closely behind. Looking around and taking in the scenery all around them.
He truly was excited to be there.
As soon as they opened the front door, they were met by a beautifully decorated hallway.
A beige, knitted rug laid rolled out on the wooden flooring below them, and the painted white walls had nicely framed pictures of the beach and sea shells.
From the ceiling hung light, dangling decor, which were made out of sea shells and shiny, flat opalescent rocks.
As they shut the door, the dangling decorations made a light jingling sound, almost sounding a bit magical.
Straight ahead from the long entrance hallway, the glass door to the backyard porch was visible. It led right out to the beach, giving a beautiful view of the ocean.
It almost seemed as if this house had it’s own personal beach along with the property.
“Wow,”
Dream said under his breath, as his gaze took in the interior all around them.
George felt excited as he looked at Dream just then, exchanging a small smile with him.
He felt excited for what their weekend would be like.
Excited to see more of the beautiful house.
Excited to be alone with Dream.
Once Dream had put their bags down, the two of them began walking around the house, taking in the interior of the place.
It truly was a beautiful house, gorgeously decorated with coastal type furniture. The sofa in the living room was white to match the white walls, with beige and blue pillows placed neatly on it. Along with a knitted, light blue blanket that was throw over the back.
The coffee table was a sandy beige tone and perfectly matched the same coastal vibe, as did the rest of the house.
All of the walls in the living room were painted white except for the one opposite the entrance hallway, which was entirely glass windows. Along with a glass sliding door that led out to the beach.
The view from the living room was simply gorgeous.
As they kept walking around the house, taking in the place as they went, Dream began unfolding a note he’d picked up from the mailbox.
He then began silently reading it, which peaked George’s curiosity.
“What’s that?”
He asked, whilst keeping his gaze on the note in Dream’s hands.
“Just a note from the renters, telling us to enjoy our stay. They also left a number for emergency and such. Oh and, apparently there’s food in the fridge.”
George gave a light scoff as he kept looking around,
“Well, we’re getting takeout anyways though. Right?”
Dream gave a shrug,
“No, I think I might cook, actually.”
George spun around to look at him, brows slightly raised,
“Really?”
Dream pocketed the note, clearing his throat as he turned away from him, ignoring George’s shocked expression.
“But it’s good we don’t have to go shopping. Means we can stay here, be just the two of us.”
George felt his face heat up a bit at that. Gaze going to the back of Dream’s neck as he followed him into the next room, which was the kitchen.
Every time Dream would mention how it was gonna be just the two of them there, George would feel a flutter of butterflies in his stomach.
The kitchen was just about as beautiful as the rest of the house. The lighting that came in from the large window by the kitchen table gave a soft, yet bright light to the whole place.
The entire kitchen held the same coastal theme as the rest of the house, but there was still something about it that gave it a newer feel than the rest. As if it had been recently renovated.
George hadn’t asked Dream how much he’d paid for their stay, but looking around the place he knew it could not have been cheap.
This fact made him perhaps a bit happier than it should.
Not something he was gonna mention to Dream. Not after he’d been called out on his love for money in the way that he was.
But was he happy this place was expensive and in a way luxurious?
Yes.
Was he also happy that Dream was the one who paid for it all, paid for him specifically?
Also, yes.
It definitely wasn’t stuff he’d ever admit to out loud, but he definitely had it on his mind.
“I think I’ll make us some pasta with tomato sauce.”
Dream said as he was looking into the fridge to see what food had been left for them.
“What?”
George said as he turned to look at him, tearing his gaze from the beautiful view of the kitchen window.
“Are you some sort of chef now suddenly?”
He asked as Dream shut the fridge.
Dream chuckled,
“Oh come on. It’s not that hard.”
“So you’ve done it before?”
Another chuckle escaped Dream, this time with a nervous tint to it.
“Well, no? But-“
George began laughing,
“We should just order something, Dream.”
“No, no, listen to me. George. I got this, alright? I know how to do this.”
George looked at him, holding back a smile at his best ability as he stared him down.
He then huffed,
“Alright, fine. Whatever, Dream.”
Meanwhile, he was already making out a plan in his head on how he was gonna order takeout without Dream knowing later on.
After they’d looked at the ground floor, they went up the stairs that started close to the main entrance.
Upstairs, there was one large bedroom, one bathroom, and a beautiful living room type area with a sunroof.
They briefly took in the beautiful coastal decor of the living room, finding it to look similar to the downstairs living room.
They then entered the bedroom, which was absolutely breathtaking.
The first thing they noticed was the huge bed, which had a large mirror placed right above the headboard.
The bed itself was made beautifully with throw pillows in soft pastel blues, white and beige colors. There were coastal patterns and detailing on some whilst others were just pure color.
It almost made it difficult to want to sleep in it later on and ruin the way the bed had been made.
But the bed did look comfortable. And huge. Spacious for the two of them to sleep in.
Pushed against the wall on the left side of the bed, stood a beautiful, white, slight vintage looking dresser. Right above it, hung a framed picture of a seashell.
On the opposite side of the entrance to the room were a bunch of large windows, along with a sliding door that led out to a balcony.
George walked over to the balcony door, looking out at the beautiful view from the bedroom windows.
This whole place truly was insane.
George turned to Dream after he’d been looking at the view for a moment,
“So, this is it? Only one bedroom?”
Dream put his hands in his pockets,
“Yeah. I mean, it’s not like we sleep in separate beds anyways.”
He said, chuckling lightly.
George gave a slight scoff as he looked at the bed,
“Alright, Dream.”
He mumbled, walking over to the bed to lightly trace the white covers with his fingertips. Fighting back a smile at the idea of the two of them sleeping in this bed together.
Dream watched him for a moment, before he slowly approached the bed as well. Hand reaching out to trace the covers just like George was doing, slowly getting closer to him as he held his gaze lowered.
George’s gaze traveled up to look at him as Dream got closer, and that’s when Dream’s gaze raised to meet his.
He paused then, their gazes locked as they stood much closer than before.
And as they stood like that, a tension began to rise in the air between them.
It hit them a bit harder just then, that it was really just gonna be the two of them, alone, in this house.
Sharing this bed.
Dream’s gaze dipped to George’s lips, and George swallowed. Feeling his heart make a small skip in his chest.
“What’re you thinking about, George?”
Dream asked, his voice low as his gaze traveled back up to his eyes.
George’s lips parted as he stared back at him,
“Just wondering if you’ll be too big for this bed.”
He said faintly, teasing.
Dream smiled at the obvious tease, as the bed was large. Larger than the one he had back home.
“You’re an idiot.”
He mumbled fondly as George looked to the side, as if inspecting the bed,
“I don’t know, Dream. You might have to sleep on the floor, actually.”
“Oh come on,”
Dream’s smile grew as he stepped forward, his hands grabbing onto George to tickle his sides, making George fold over and shriek out a laugh.
Dream then pushed him onto the bed, making a few pillows fall onto the floor as his back hit the soft mattress. He then got on top of him, tickling him even more as he pretty much had him held down.
George could barely breathe through his laughter.
“Dream-“
Was all he got out as Dream spared him no mercy, almost pushing him to tears from laughing so much.
“If anyone sleeps on the floor, it’s you, idiot.”
Dream said as George struggled below him.
“Dream- Dream, stop-“
Dream finally stopped. Placing his hands on each side of George’s head instead as he leaned over him.
George was out of breath, his cheeks burning as he stared back up at him through his lashes.
“How about we share the bed, George?”
Dream then said, voice low.
George gave a nod. His lips parted, gaze dipping to Dream’s lips.
Just then, his mind was screaming at Dream to kiss him.
His whole body wanted it. Feeling the weight of Dream’s body on top of his own, he wanted more of him. Right then and there.
But that’s when Dream’s phone chimed in his pocket, making him pull back. Digging the device out before looking at it, mumbling,
“It’s Sapnap.”
George sighed, his head falling back against the soft mattress below him.
“What does he want?”
He asked in a monotone voice, devoid of any genuine curiosity.
“He wants to know if we’ve arrived yet.”
“Tell him to shut up.”
George mumbled, staring up at the ceiling.
He couldn’t believe, even now, when they’re finally alone together they get interrupted, somehow.
Dream was silent for a moment as he seemed to be typing back an answer to him. Meanwhile, he was still sat straddling George’s lap, making him feel all riled up, restless and impatient. Shifting slightly below Dream as he pushed his head to the side, looking over at the windows, watching the calm ocean.
Dream then seemed to finally hit the send button, then cleared his throat as he pocketed his phone again.
“We should, uh, go prepare some food. I’m kinda hungry.”
He mumbled, before getting off the bed, walking over to the door.
“You coming?”
He asked George, as he glanced back at him. Seeing he was still laying on the bed, staring over at Dream with a slight look of disbelief. Or perhaps it was betrayal, disappointment over having their moment interrupted and ruined.
George then looked up at the ceiling, giving a faint nod.
And that seemed to be all Dream needed as an answer, before turning to walk out of there.
George let out a small huff as he turned his head to the side again.
His mind was already going places after that whole moment just now, and he had to shut his eyes for a bit to collect himself and get his mind out of the gutter.
After gathering himself for a moment, George went down to the kitchen to help Dream prepare their food.
His original plan was to just go down there and watch Dream do it all for him. But then Dream put him on chopping vegetables duty, and he ended up agreeing to chopping up one small stalk of celery.
Dream then left him to it, trusting him with a knife and cutting board as he began preparing the pasta instead.
But as he glanced over at George, Dream noticed he was cutting way too large pieces, and holding the knife all wrong.
It didn’t look like he knew what he was doing at all.
“George,”
Dream said through a half chuckle, gaining George’s attention.
“You’re doing it wrong.”
He then said after George had sent him a quick glance.
“What do you mean?”
George mumbled as he kept going.
Dream sighed, moving over to where George was standing.
“I mean, you’re doing it wrong, idiot.”
He said as he got behind George, putting his arms around him to place his hands ontop of George’s hands. Moving his fingers to hold the knife properly, before guiding his hand to where it needed to be.
“You’re supposed to hold it like this,”
Dream said, bending down close to his ear. Voice dipping low.
George’s breathing got slightly uneven as he felt Dream’s body press against his back, his hand guiding his own.
Dream then guided his movements, slowly chopping off a few smaller pieces of celery as George allowed him to take over.
There was just something so comforting and safe about being in Dream’s arms, that made even a knife seem like a harmless object when it was held by his safe and secure hands.
“You got it?”
Dream asked after he’d helped him chop a few smaller pieces, his voice soft and encouraging.
George let out a soft sigh as he tipped his head back to rest against Dream’s shoulder,
“Dream,”
He said softly.
“What?”
Dream responded, his voice low.
George turned his head to the side, glancing up at Dream. Finding his gaze to lock eyes with him.
His lips parted, his heart beating faster in his chest.
It felt so dumb, why were they even wasting time on cooking right now, when they’re finally alone?
George caught Dream’s gaze dip to his lips before returning to his eyes again.
He then leaned down, finally capturing George’s lips.
George felt himself melt from the kiss, feeling as if he was finally taking a breath of fresh air after being trapped under water.
It made him draw a sharp breath through his nose. Hand letting go of the knife, allowing it to fall onto the cutting board. Giving off a noise that should be alarming, but neither of them paid any attention to it.
Both of George’s hands moving to grab Dream as he turned his body around to face him.
One of his hands rested at the nape of Dream’s neck, whilst the other grabbed onto the front of his shirt, pulling him even further down so he didn’t have to stand on his tip toes to reach him.
Dream’s hands moved down to George’s hips, pushing him back against the counter. Pressing his own body closer to George’s as he parted his lips with his own.
George’s head was spinning, and he moaned into the kiss as it got more heated. Unafraid to make loud noises as they were finally alone.
He then heard Dream move the cutting board along with the knife to the side behind him, before he grabbed him. Lifting him up to sit onto the counter.
Dream then started kissing him down his neck, his hand going to the hem of George’s shirt. Dipping under it to trace his fingers along his bare skin.
It made George’s breath hitch, tipping his head back to softly hit one of the cupboards above the counter. A soft moan escaping him as he felt Dream’s fingers trace up his stomach, whilst he kissed him down to his collarbone.
George loosely wrapped his legs around Dream, bringing him closer. His hands grabbing at his shirt.
He then felt Dream’s thumb brush over one of his nipples, making his breath hitch before he let out a airy moan. Pushing his chest into the touch as he arched his back slightly.
He could also feel Dream’s other hand move to his pants, fingers hurriedly working at undoing them as he kissed up George’s neck again. Reaching his lips right as he got his fingers on the zipper.
But that’s when they both heard the sound of the front door shutting, followed by the soft jingle from all the seashell decorations in the hallway.
Dream parted from George, breathing heavy. Both of them wide eyed as they stared at each other.
Their hearts beating fast.
“Hello? Are you guys home or what?”
The moment they heard Sapnap’s voice, all fear in their expressions were drained.
Then replaced by annoyance.
What the hell was he doing here?!
There was then a second voice,
“Yo this place is kinda nice though.”
Was that.. Karl?
Dream’s gaze dropped as if he had to gather himself, think quick on his feet before he pushed away from George. Taking a few steps away from him as he ran his hand through his hair, clearing his throat.
And right then, the two intruders walked into the kitchen.
“So this is where you guys are hiding!”
Sapnap exclaimed at the sight of them both.
“Oh, are you guys making food?”
Karl then said, hungry eyes roaming across the ingredients and the boiling pasta on the stove.
“Uh- oh, shit-“
Dream said under his breath, immediately hurrying over to the forgotten pasta to check if it was still salvageable.
Which, it seemed like it might be. But it was definitely overdone at this point.
He took it off the stove as George was still sat on the counter, still trying to process what was going on.
“Oh sweet, you’re making pasta? Is there enough for all of us?”
Karl asked as he watched Dream pour out the water in the sink.
“What are you doing here, Sapnap?”
George asked, gaze going straight to Sapnap.
He was just gonna be direct, straight up.
What the hell were they doing here?
“Ever since you two started talking about going away for a few days, I’ve been making plans with Karl to surprise you guys.”
Sapnap said as Karl walked around the kitchen to take in the place.
“I thought it’s more fun this way to surprise you both.”
He then added.
George looked over at Dream, waiting for him to just explode on the other two and throw them out of there.
This wasn’t a fun-time Dream team plus Karl vacation, this was supposed to be just for them. Their chance to get some time alone. To figure out what their whole relationship is right now.
After Dream had salvaged the pasta, he turned around to face the others. Sighing as he leaned his back against the counter,
“Uh, alright. Well, suppose it’s us four from now on then.”
George stared at him, in disbelief.
He wasn’t actually-
There’s no way-
He’s just gonna allow-
Dream gave a slightly nervous chuckle, avoiding George’s gaze,
“Let’s hope we have enough food for all of us.”
Karl chuckled, patting Dream on the shoulder,
“Don’t worry, buddy. We’ll make it work.”
“There’s only one bed.”
George threw out, holding onto it as it was his final saving grace to salvage this weekend. Ignoring the very implications it gave the others that they’d rented a place with only one bed.
There was a moment of silence in the room, before Sapnap said,
“Guess we’ll all have to share, then. I’m down to cuddle with Dream.”
Karl laughed at this, but agreed with Sapnap. Sounding excited about it, even.
George looked over at Dream, trying to telepathically tell him to do something about this mess.
But Dream only cleared his throat again and put his hands together, his voice sounding all fake polite and cheery as he said,
“Alright, great! Then it’s settled!”
George got off the counter, excusing himself that he needed the bathroom or something like that.
He then went up the stairs, going straight to the balcony from the bedroom.
He opened the glass sliding door, then walked out to the balcony ledge. Grabbing it and shutting his eyes as he stood there, exhaling deeply.
He couldn’t believe their weekend away was getting ruined like this.
All his fantasies of what could’ve been was just slipping from his fingers, blowing away with the wind and drifting off into the ocean, where it would slowly sink to the bottom.
And Dream..
Dream wouldn’t tell them off cause he’s too scared to tell them the real reason they went away.
Sapnap has no idea what’s been going on between them.
And Karl…
Of course Dream doesn’t wanna tell him, when not even Sapnap knows.
George sighed, looking out over the ocean.
This sucked.
This really, fucking sucked.
By the time George came back down to the kitchen again, Dream had finished making their food and was plating it all for four people.
Sapnap and Karl were talking a bunch as Dream seemed pretty quiet, giving small polite chuckles here and there.
George went to sit with them, taking his seat opposite from Dream, where he’d placed his plate.
He then ate silently, keeping his gaze lowered most of the time.
A few times they’d throw a comment his way, and he’d answer it, but wouldn’t elaborate too much on it.
He mostly just felt done and ready to head back home again.
And the weekend hadn’t even fully started yet.
“So what’s the reason for this trip? Why did you guys decide to come here anyways?”
Karl asked as they were all relaxing, playing some cards in the upstairs living room a few hours later.
It had gotten late into the evening at that point, and a few, faint stars were visible from the sunroof.
“I don’t know. I mean, George said something about how, like, he’d never taken a proper beach vacation before. So, I wanted us to rent this so I could show him the beach.”
George rolled his eyes at the lie Dream was telling the other two.
He wasn’t there to see the beach.
He was there to figure out where he and Dream wanted to take this whole thing that was going on between them. To figure out if this whole marriage thing is actually more real than they both originally thought.
He was also there to get railed by Dream, undisturbed, where they could be as loud as they wanted.
They’d never gone further than handjobs and blowjobs, and he was looking forward to exploring things further with him at this place.
But then Sapnap and Karl had to arrive, crush their plans entirely.
“Wait, you’ve never seen the beach, George?”
Karl said, laughing.
“I have. Dream is lying.”
George mumbled, keeping his gaze on his phone. Not in the mood to play along with Dream’s lies.
He’d been on his phone a lot since the other two arrived, sitting silently scrolling Twitter and mourning his ruined weekend.
“What? George- that’s- I mean that’s ridiculous. I’m not lying, what?”
Dream said, his tone so defensive and nervous from George not playing along with the lie.
“You are.”
George mumbled back.
“Oh come on, George- George always does this, he’s just messing with you guys. He literally told me he’s never seen the beach before.”
“Dreeam, I’ve never gone camping before, can you take me to the woods sometime?”
Sapnap then said, sounding like a child who wanted a shiny toy just because their sibling got one.
Dream scoffed lightly,
“No, Sapnap.”
“Why not? You always do this, Dream. It’s always just George who gets special treatment.”
Sapnap whined.
Dream glanced at George who gave a small huff as he kept his gaze on his phone instead, ignoring the whiny middle child behavior.
And at the end of the day, it was different.
For a reason.
The discussion ended with Karl offering to take Sapnap camping sometime if it would make him happy, which still didn’t completely turn his frown upside down. But it made him settle down on the subject for the moment, at least.
And then night fell, and they all had to head to bed.
As they were all getting ready for bed, changing into sleepwear and such, Dream grabbed a change of clothing and went into the bathroom with it.
Karl, who’d been standing closest to Dream’s suitcase, looked over at it to see something had accidentally fallen out of it when he took his clothes out.
“Wait..”
Karl said, intrigue in his voice as he walked over to the suitcase.
He then picked up the item, suppressing a laugh as he said,
“Guys, look,”
Gaining the attention of the other two in the room.
And as they both looked over, they saw Karl was holding up a pair of handcuffs.
George froze, staring at them. His mind immediately going places.
Dream really had plans for this trip, huh?
George wished more than ever in that moment that it had been just the two of them in that house.
“Where did you get those?”
Sapnap asked Karl, who pointed at Dream’s suitcase,
“They fell out of Dream’s bag, I- guys, I promise they just fell out, I wasn’t digging into his things, I really wasn’t.”
Sapnap walked over to get a closer look at them, as George still stood frozen, tongue tied.
What exactly could Dream have done to him with those?
Was he going to have him cuffed to the bed?
Was he planning on roleplaying with them?
Or would he simply use them to hold him restrained?
As his mind was running with the different scenarios, Karl said,
“Damn, I didn’t know Dream was planning on meeting up with some girl on this trip.”
As he had that boyish, excited look on his face.
As if he admired Dream for making such moves.
It bothered George, pulled him out of his thoughts and fantasies for a moment as Karl made them all clouded by some girl replacing him instead.
It made him grimace slightly, roll his eyes just the slightest.
And that’s when the bathroom door opened, and Dream came back into the room.
The other two seemed like a pair of deers caught in headlight, as Dream’s gaze immediately went to the pair standing by his suitcase.
His gaze then went to the handcuffs in Karl’s hands, and George noticed the hint of panic in Dream’s eyes just then, before he cleared his throat and said,
“What’re, uh, what’re you guys doing?”
“Why did you bring handcuffs with you, Dream?”
Sapnap asked, going straight to the point.
Dream gave a nervous chuckle,
“What? Doesn’t everybody?”
George pulled a confused face at his bad save.
What type of defense was that? It made no sense.
At this point George almost thought he’d just confess to their actual plans right then and there, cause it would’ve probably been the easiest solution.
But of course, he doesn’t do that.
“What?”
Karl said, and George added,
“What does that mean, Dream?”
Dream’s gaze flickered to George, but it was clear he struggled to hold eye contact with him for long,
“It’s for, you know, safety reasons.”
Sapnap and Karl burst into laughter at his horrible excuses, and Karl was practically fighting back tears as he said,
“What safety reasons are we talking here, Dream?”
“Oh come on, you guys- you’re being ridiculous, like, actually,”
He stepped over to hold out his hand, gesturing for Karl to give them back.
“No, no, explain to us, Dream. What are the safety reasons for why you keep these with you?”
Karl asked as he tried holding in his laughter.
Sapnap wasn’t even trying to hold it in next to him, pulling his phone out,
“I need to message Quackity about this.”
“Oh, yeah, get a picture of me with them,”
Karl said as he prepared to pose with the handcuffs, as Sapnap directed the camera at him.
“You think he’ll wanna join us if he sees this?”
Karl then said, and Dream pushed forward to yank the handcuffs out of his hands.
“You’re both being idiots, it’s- it’s normal to have this, okay? It’s like if- if someone would break in, right? What if the cops are, like, far away or something? This is for protection.”
“Okay Dream, I believe you.”
Karl said to that, sounding as if he did in fact not believe a single word coming out of his mouth.
“Whatever, believe me or don’t believe me, it’s the truth.”
Dream then said as he gave up, walking over to put the handcuffs back into the suitcase.
He then glanced over at George, who raised his brows slightly at him, and Dream quickly looked away.
They soon dropped the subject and finally went to bed. Which was large for two people, but cramped when there’s four of them.
They made it work by having Dream lay down in the middle, with George on one side and Karl on the other.
Then at last, Sapnap settled by their feet.
Which was a spot he had to settle for after he lost at rock paper scissor against Karl.
Karl and Sapnap were both high energy at first, treating the whole thing as a fun sleepover with the boys.
Karl kept trying to put his feet in Sapnap’s face, who would tell Dream to get him to stop.
It was definitely not the type of weekend Dream and George had in mind when they’d booked this.
After a while, they finally started to settle down, and Karl started reading out scary stories on his phone for the whole group.
They all listened, the room entirely dark except for the subtle light that came from Karl’s phone, illuminating his face as he was reading out a ghost story.
And as they laid listening, George suddenly felt Dream’s hand bump against his own. Dream then carefully, subtly, intertwined their fingers under the covers.
George turned his head to look at Dream, who gave him a small smile.
Maybe he felt bad, or something. Their weekend alone definitely wasn’t meant to go this way.
George sighed. Shifting slightly, carefully, to place his head on Dream’s shoulder.
He then felt Dream turn his head and subtly place a kiss at the top of his head.
It made his heart feel warm in his chest, the gesture so small yet so sweet.
“And it was the mother all along!!”
Karl exclaimed as he reached the climax of his ghost story.
Dream and George had tuned him out a few minutes ago, and Sapnap simply said,
“That one was really bad, Karl.”
“You didn’t like it?”
Karl said, sounding like a hurt puppy.
“No, it was too predictable. Do another one, I wanna get spooked.”
“Alright let me see then, let me see,”
Karl mumbled, trying to find another story that could be scarier.
“What did you guys think? Dream? Gogy?”
Sapnap then asked.
“It was alright.”
Dream mumbled, and George gave a soft scoff,
“Sapnap’s right, that one sucked.”
“Alright, tough crowd.. I’ll find a great one for all of you.”
Karl mumbled as he seemed to be searching for a new one.
In the meantime, Sapnap said,
“Quackity responded, by the way.”
“What did he say?”
George mumbled.
“He wrote, ‘LOL’, all caps. Then another one where he said, ‘of course it’s Dream’.”
George gave a light scoff and Karl exclaimed,
“I found one!”
As he sat up slightly in his excitement, then cleared his throat,
“Alright you guys will love this one, I guarantee it.”
“Alright, tell us, then.”
George mumbled.
“You guys want me to invite Quackity to join us?”
Sapnap said before Karl got to start reading out his story.
“No.”
Dream responded, leaving no room for discussion.
George then felt Dream move his hand out of his grasp, then push it past the waistband of his sweats. His fingers lightly tracing his thigh, the touch against his bare skin sending tingles through George’s body.
His lips then parted slightly as he felt Dream’s movements become more evident, his fingers pressing patterns into his skin instead of simply brushing against it.
In the meantime, Karl began reading out the story. Fully unaware of what was going on below the covers.
Dream’s fingertips felt warm as he ran them up his leg, causing George’s breath to hitch as he reached his hip.
He then dipped his fingers, running them towards his inner thigh. Getting dangerously close to his crotch.
And right as he got close, George accidentally let out a small moan.
He could feel his cheeks heating up as he turned his head to bury his face into Dream’s shoulder. His eyes squeezing shut, whilst he heard Dream clear his throat and shift slightly. Almost as if trying to cover up the sound he’d just made.
But what the hell was he doing?!
What was he thinking doing this when the others were right there?
“Somebody is already getting scared.”
Karl said in response to the sound George had accidentally given out, sounding excited that his story was scaring someone.
When in reality George wasn’t listening to a word he was saying. His hand going up to grab at Dream’s shirt sleeve, his heart beating fast in his chest.
He then felt Dream place his hand flat against the upper part of his inner thigh, almost brushing against his actual crotch, before running his hand down along his thigh. To then run it back up again.
He then grabbed his thigh and spread his legs apart slightly, before running his hand down his inner thigh again.
All of it was just riling him up too much, making it harder for George to breathe properly. His touch causing tingles to run through his body as he grew more and more hot.
And he kept over focusing on keeping his breathing normal so the others wouldn’t notice, which made his breathing even more uneven.
Dream ran his hand up his leg one more time, then ran it all the way up to place on top of his growing bulge.
It made George’s breath hitch, his hips subtly buckling up into his touch by pure instinct, and he had to bite back a faint moan. Hand grasping at Dream as he buried his hot face into his shirt sleeve.
“Look at George, he looks so scared.”
Sapnap then said, making Dream halt his movements, his hand pausing right over George’s bulge.
Karl gave an excited giggle at the fact that his story was going so successfully, probably taking some credit for his storytelling abilities as well.
“It’s not even that scary, George. You’re such a pussy.”
Sapnap then said.
“Shut up, Sapnap.”
Dream mumbled in return, his voice sounding a bit.. different. Lower.
It was clear he wasn’t paying attention to the story being told, either.
As Dream kept his hand right over his crotch, George subtly pushed his hips up into it. Impatiently, causing Dream to move his hand again.
As he did, he traced the outline of his hard on, practically stroking him through his underwear.
It made George’s head spin, his eyes squeezing shut as he struggled to hold back his moans.
He shifted under his touch, Dream’s hand working faster, his heart beating so loud in his chest.
In that moment he wished more than ever that it would’ve been just them there, that he could’ve been as loud as he needed to be.
That Dream could’ve gotten on top of him and kissed him breathless.
“But they forgot to check the third floor.”
Karl said, ending the scary story he’d been telling.
Right at the same time as George parted his lips and almost let out a moan, a strained sound catching in his throat as his grasp on Dream’s shirt tightened.
“Your stories are trash, Karl. Where do you even find these?”
Sapnap mumbled, not seeming to have picked up on George’s slight slip up just then.
But Dream did. And it only made him move his hand faster, put on a little more pressure into his touch. Driving George absolutely insane, causing him to bite back another moan.
“What? Okay, guys, did you find my story scary? George, you found it scary, right?”
Karl then said, directing the attention onto Dream and George, who’d barely been listening to a word that had been said.
But as their names were called out, Dream halted his movements. Clearing his throat, shifting slightly,
“Uh, sure. It- it was scary.”
Dream mumbled, as George struggled to breathe properly, yet alone form a single proper thought or sentence.
“George?”
Sapnap then said, as George refrained from answering.
He turned his head slightly, eyes still shut, swallowing.
“Sure.”
He mumbled, trying his best to sound as normal as he could. He wasn’t even entirely sure on what he was answering, he pretty much just copied Dream’s answer.
“Alright,”
Dream then said as he moved his hand away from touching George,
“Enough ghost stories, let’s sleep.”
“Fine, I’ll find something better for tomorrow then.”
Karl said, seeming somewhat defeated.
“I’ll look for something too, and we’ll see who finds the best one.”
Sapnap then said, which Karl sounded excited about as he agreed to the challenge.
The other two were silent, absolutely tuned out of whatever Karl and Sapnap were going on about.
And as Karl locked his phone, the whole room got dark again, and George felt like he could suddenly hear his own fast heartbeat much clearer, along with his slightly heavy breathing.
He was now also somewhat uncomfortable as he laid there, hard as a rock, with no release.
He felt Dream shift slightly next to him, then bump his shoulder.
He turned his head to look at Dream, who looked back at him.
Dream then leaned down, gently pressing their lips together.
The room was dark enough for the others to hopefully miss the subtle exchange, and Dream barely lingered before pulling away.
Staying close as he whispered,
“Goodnight, George.”
George smiled faintly, whispering back,
“Goodnight, Dream.”
“Goodnight, Karl.”
Sapnap then said, putting on a overly sweet tone as if mocking the way Dream and George had said it.
“Goodnight Sappy nappy-poo.”
Karl said back with the same mocking tone.
George wet his lips, watching Dream pull back and face the ceiling,
“Goodnight Sapnap. Goodnight Karl.”
Dream then said, and it made George suddenly feel a little less special.
“Goodnight.”
George mumbled then, loosely addressing everyone in the room.
He then rolled over, turning his back to Dream and shutting his eyes.
It was annoying that he was still riled up, however. Still sporting a hard on.
He contemplated for a moment to try and do something about it, but then it was probably best to try to sleep it off.
It definitely had been taken too far just now anyways, it’s not something they should’ve been doing in a bed shared with their other two friends.
“Do you wanna cuddle, Dream?”
Karl said after a moment of silence in the room.
Dream gave a awkward laugh,
“What?”
Was all he said in response.
George glanced over his shoulder to try to keep an eye on the situation, seeing Dream wasn’t being cuddled yet at least.
Sapnap then said,
“Don’t even sweat it, Karl. He won’t do it. Dream is just not a cuddling type of guy.”
Dream gave a light scoff at this, as a small smile found it’s way to George’s lips.
“Why would I wanna cuddle with my friends? It’s just kinda- I don’t know, weird?”
Dream mumbled, which made a warm feeling spread across George’s entire body, his cheeks heating up.
It made him feel special.
And clearly, that meant Dream doesn’t just view him as a friend.
George woke up the next morning the same way he normally did these days, with Dream’s arms wrapped around him, spooning him.
He drew a calm breath as he shifted slightly, getting even more comfortable in his arms.
Being there, always felt like home. It was something he never grew tired of.
But as he laid there, he began to remember that they weren’t exactly at home. This wasn’t Dream’s bed.
And they weren’t alone either.
He opened his eyes, turning his head to glance over at Sapnap, who still laid by their feet. Still asleep.
He wondered then, what would happen if Sapnap woke up and saw the two of them like this?
Would he instantly figure it out, connect the dots that something was going on between them?
Or maybe he’d just whine about how Dream never cuddles him like that, and cry about it until Dream would do the same to him.
George sighed softly, turning his head back to rest against the pillow.
Suppose he could just lay there and wait, find out.
But right as he settled back into his original position, he felt Dream move slightly, then sigh softly against the back of his head.
Still, George wasn’t sure if he was still sleeping or not.
That was until Dream whispered,
“George?”
“Dream?”
Dream gave a soft huff,
“Are you awake?”
His voice laced with sleep.
George couldn’t help but smile, trying not to laugh at his dumb question.
“No.”
He then whispered back.
“Okay.”
Dream whispered, then fell silent for a moment.
It was hard for George to not laugh at that moment, squeezing his eyes shut to hold it back.
“Too bad, I wanted to do something with you.”
Dream then whispered.
And maybe it was because he spoke so low and so close to George’s ear, but something about it sounded so suggestive.
It made George feel a rush of heat go through him, turning his head slightly,
“Like what?”
He whispered, gaze traveling down to Sapnap to see he was still peacefully sleeping.
He assumed it was the same for Karl.
Dream didn’t answer George’s question. Instead, he pulled his arms back from him, then sat up. Looking down at George as he whispered,
“Move.”
George gave him a confused look at first, but then did what Dream told him to do. Moving out of bed and throwing a quick glance at the other two to make sure they were both still sleeping.
Dream then got out of bed as well, standing up tall next to George who looked up at him, awaiting directions on what to do next.
Dream looked back down at him, then smiled as he moved his hand to ruffle George’s hair. Making him swat his hand away and lightly roll his eyes with a smile on his lips.
“Come,”
Dream mumbled under his breath, as he moved past George to walk towards the bathroom.
Being slightly unsure of his intentions but curious enough to wanna find out more, George followed Dream to the bathroom.
Once they’d both gotten inside, Dream shut the door and turned to the sink. Yawning as he grabbed his toothbrush.
George moved over to stand next to him, grabbing his toothbrush as well to start mimicking what Dream was doing.
This was something they’d started doing as part of their joint routine, which they just kept doing even after they’d gotten the clear on the legitimacy of their marriage.
Everyday they’d wake up and get ready together, brushing their teeth together and eat breakfast together.
Once they’d both finished up brushing their teeth, Dream looked over to the shower, mumbling,
“Walk over there for a sec, George.”
As he casually gestured towards it.
George looked at him with a confused, slightly suspect expression,
“Why?”
“Because I asked.”
“You didn’t ask, though.”
Dream scoffed,
“Alright fine, because I told you to.”
George wet his lips, looking up at him,
“I’ll do it if you gift me subs.”
“What? No- George! I’m not doing that, just do what I tell you to do and stop being an idiot.”
“Fifty subs.”
Dream rolled his eyes at him, a smile on his lips,
“Just do it, idiot.”
He then mumbled, looking down at George and ruffling his hair again to make it all messy.
George groaned at him lightly as he fixed his hair in place.
He then locked eyes with Dream and challenged his gaze for a moment, not moving a muscle.
Dream took him up for the challenge, clearly trying to fight a smile as he held his gaze.
But as they did their little staring contest the tension between them kept rising.
It almost became unbearable, making Dream finally shrug and say,
“Alright you know what, fine! Whatever, George. I wanted to show you something fun but you’re just being annoying now.”
Dream then turned around to check himself in the mirror, before he began to seemingly walk towards the door.
“Wait, Dream,”
George said as he finally walked over to where Dream had asked him to go.
He was too curious not to at this point, it was probably gonna bother him all day if he didn’t get to find out what Dream actually wanted.
So, he walked into the shower and stopped right around where Dream had pointed.
“A little more to the right.”
Dream mumbled as he approached him.
George huffed, almost rolling his eyes but moving slightly to the right as he’d been told.
He then gave a shrug,
“Now wha-“
It all happened so fast.
He didn’t even know how Dream managed to move so fast, but somehow he’d gotten to the shower in a split second, and pressed the very button to turn on the shower head that hung from the ceiling. Making water spray down all over George who let out a shriek of surprise,
“Dream!!”
Dream’s movements were quick as he reached George, one hand pressing flat against the middle of George’s chest, as the other placed over his mouth.
He then pushed George’s back against the wall, their bodies close. Both of them rapidly getting more and more soaked as Dream stared him down.
A wheezed breath then escaped Dream as he tried not to laugh too loud, being very aware of the fact that two people were sleeping on the other side of the bathroom door.
“George-“
He got out, trying so hard not to laugh his eyes were almost watering.
“You fell for my trap.”
Dream then whispered, pressing his forehead against the tiled wall right above George’s head as another wheezed laugh escaped him.
George gave out a small huff of laughter against the palm of his hand in response as Dream was near losing it.
George’s hands then reached up to grab at Dream’s shirt. The fabric all wet and uncomfortable to touch under the heavy spray they stood under.
George looked up at him, seeing Dream pull back to tip his head back instead, trying to calm himself down.
George kept blinking as water droplets kept hitting his face,
“Dream-“
He said, which was entirely muffled against Dream’s palm.
It made Dream look back down at him, slowly pulling his hand away. Moving it to place against the wall next to his face instead.
“What?”
Dream said, his voice strangely soft. His gaze dipping to George’s lips.
George tilted his head back, softly hitting the tiled wall behind him,
“You’re an idiot.”
He mumbled softly, watching several water droplets fall down onto Dream’s face.
His hair was also soaked at this point, some of it falling into his face.
He looked really good like that.
George swallowed as he took in the person in front of him, his gaze dipping to his lips.
“Oh yeah?”
Dream said under his breath, his voice low.
And right then, George caught Dream inching closer. Which caused him to tip his head back slightly further, right as Dream leaned down to capture his lips with his own.
George’s eyes slipped shut and it almost felt like they were kissing in the rain. Subtly tasting the water droplets from Dream’s lips, feeling several more drip onto them as they kept kissing. Soaking their hair and clothes and everything it came in contact with.
George moaned softly into the kiss, the sound bouncing off the tiled walls as Dream pressed his body closer to his, pushing George’s back against the wall.
Dream’s hands then moved down his body, grabbing the hem of George’s shirt to begin to take it off him.
George’s breath hitched slightly into the kiss as he felt drops of water hit his bare stomach. Dream then parted from the kiss to pull George’s shirt off his head, before then capturing his lips once again as he carelessly threw the soaked fabric to the side.
George felt much more exposed now, and he reached down to start pulling Dream’s shirt off as well.
Which, as soon as he did, Dream pulled back once again to quickly take his own shirt off, throwing that one to the side as well before reconnecting their lips.
The kiss was rushed and needy, passionate and hot. Making both of them pant against each other’s lips, hands roaming over wet skin, bodies pressing closer together.
George soon felt Dream run his hand down his arm, grabbing his wrist to pin it against the wall right next to his head. Dream then lightly bit and tugged at George’s bottom lip, causing him to whine softly.
Dream’s other hand traveled down to his pants, pushing past the soaked waistband of his sweats to wrap his fingers around his hardening dick.
George moaned against his lips as he felt Dream’s wet hand begin to stroke him, immediately picking up a fast pace that made his head spin and his knees weak.
He had to tear away from the kiss for a moment to even be able to breathe, pressing his forehead against Dream’s shoulder as he softly moaned out,
“Dream-“
Dream tipped his head down slightly to speak next to his ear, his voice low,
“Touch me, George.”
George’s heart made a jump in his chest at his words.
His hand began to move, fingertips dragging down along his chest, collecting water droplets on it’s way before he reached the waistband of Dream’s soaked sweats.
His hand was almost a bit shaky as he pushed it past the waistband, an eager anticipation causing his whole body to light up with excitement.
He’d wanted to touch him, be touched by him, for so long now.
Felt like forever, despite the fact that it had only been a few days since they got off together like this.
He savored the small hitch of Dream’s breath as he grabbed his length, his lips parting and eyes falling shut as George began to stroke him.
He listened as Dream’s breathing got heavier, a faint moan slipping out of him before he mumbled,
“Faster, George,”
His voice low and rushed. A demanding yet needy tint to his words.
George moaned softly, lightly biting down onto Dream’s shoulder as he moved his hand faster, feeling Dream speed up his movements at the same time.
George then tipped his head back as he moaned out, slightly louder this time. One of his wrists still held captive by Dream’s hard grip on it, pressing it against the tiled wall.
“George,”
Dream mumbled as he leaned down to capture his lips again, separating slightly only to say,
“You need to keep quiet, George,”
Before he pressed their lips together again, causing George to whine against his lips.
He didn’t like being quiet.
He always has to be quiet.
He wasn’t supposed to be quiet.
This whole trip was so they could finally be as loud as they want.
And right then, as if on cue, there was a sudden knock on the door.
George barely had time to even react to it before he felt Dream let go of his wrist, to quickly grab the shower curtains. He then pulled on them, shielding the two of them from the rest of the bathroom.
He then quickly took his hand out of George’s pants. Placing it against the tiled wall next to his head, as he placed his other hand over George’s mouth to make sure he kept silent.
And right then, they heard Sapnap go,
“Dream?“
His voice sounding laced with sleep as if he’d just woken up.
George looked up at Dream through his lashes, watching as Dream swallowed hard, trying to calm his breathing. Hanging his head forward slightly as he shut his eyes,
“Yeah?”
He called back, trying to sound normal.
They then listened as the bathroom door opened, followed by the sound of Sapnap stepping into the room.
George stared at Dream, watching a few water droplets race down his face as he held a tense expression.
George swallowed, his gaze traveling down to his lips, then to his neck.
“Are you done here soon? I wanna shower too.”
Sapnap asked, and George’s gaze flicked back up to Dream’s shut eyes.
“Yeah, uh, just, ten minutes. Go, uh, go eat with uh, Karl.”
Dream got out, clearly struggling to think quick on his feet in his current state, whilst trying to get Sapnap to leave.
George’s gaze roamed Dream’s face again, and he felt his heart thump in his chest as an idea came to mind just then.
A really.. bad idea.
Perhaps one could call it payback for the previous night.
“Where’s George?”
Sapnap then asked, and it was right then that George decided to start moving the hand that he already had wrapped around Dream’s dick.
Slowly, he began stroking him again.
Dream’s eyes opened at this, gaze snapping down to look at George.
There was definitely a threat ready on his tongue, a warning. Telling him now wasn’t the time.
But all it did was make George speed up his movements, letting out a small excited huff against Dream’s palm. Gaze dipping to Dream’s lips as he struggled to keep his breathing even.
Dream swallowed hard,
“Uh, I- I don’t- don’t know, Sapnap,”
He got out, panting softly. Hanging his head slightly forward as George stroked him faster, harder.
There was a part of George that wanted to break him right then and there, make him lose it on the spot.
Just to see what would happen.
But Dream did his best to keep his calm,
“Just- just ten minutes,”
He got out, speaking to Sapnap. His voice slightly out of breath, but hopefully nothing too noticeable.
“Alright fine, I’ll go look for George, then.”
Sapnap mumbled in response. Then, he left the bathroom and shut the door behind him.
As soon as they heard the door shut, Dream removed his hand from George’s mouth, then grabbed his hand to take it out of his own pants.
He then grabbed George and spun him around. Made him face the wall before he grabbed his wrists, holding them behind his back almost as if he was arresting him. Pressing on his back to have him pinned against the wall.
Dream then dipped down to speak next to his ear, keeping his voice as quiet as he could whilst scolding him,
“What the fuck was that?! You’re such a- what the hell is wrong with you, George?!”
All that George got out in response was a sound close to a moan, right at the same time as Dream pushed him harder against the wall.
His head was spinning, and he tipped his head back against Dream as he moaned,
“Dream,”
“You’re insane, George. You’re actually fucked up.”
Dream mumbled next to him, but he knew he must secretly enjoy it.
He’s the one who did it first, after all. The previous night, he did pretty much the exact same thing to him.
It’s only fair George gets to return the favor.
“What’re you gonna do about it, Dream?”
George said, speaking faintly, slightly out of breath. Feeling Dream press his whole body against his back as he held his arms pinned back in such a hard grasp it was driving him crazy.
Dream tightened his grasp on him, making George whine softly, knowing it would definitely leave a bruise.
“You deserve punishment, George..”
Dream then said, voice low.
George held himself back from frantically nodding.
He did, he absolutely did.
He felt so eager, so excited from hearing those words, his mind running with the possibilities of what Dream could do to him.
Some scenarios included the handcuffs, but perhaps that was just wishful thinking as the other two were still in the house.
“Do I?”
He then responded, trying to sound innocent.
Trying his hardest not to let his excitement seep out through his voice.
“Yeah..”
Dream almost whispered next to his ear. Pressing his crotch against his ass, making George’s breath hitch.
“And I have the perfect idea for it.”
Dream mumbled, voice low.
George let out a somewhat shaky breath from anticipation, swallowing hard,
“What is it?”
He barely even tried to conceal the excitement in his voice that time, his heart beating fast as he subtly rolled his ass back against Dream’s hard on.
He then felt Dream use one hand to pull on his sweats, pushing them down to expose his ass.
Dream then took out his dick from his own pants, and pressed the tip between George’s ass cheeks.
George’s breath hitched.
Was he actually gonna do it? Actually fuck him right then and there?
He honestly wouldn’t mind it.
Not at all.
Dream kept rubbing his length between his cheeks, teasing him as the water that kept falling onto them made it all slippery.
“Do you want this? George?”
Dream then asked, lining himself up to then push the tip between his cheeks. Pausing right against the rim, driving George crazy.
He panted softly, his head spinning.
“Dream-“
“Yes or no, George? Do you want me to fuck you?”
He swallowed, voice faint as he got out,
“Yes,”
Immediately feeling embarrassed as the confession slipped past his lips, almost cringing at how needy his voice sounded as it bounced off the walls.
“What is it you want me to do, exactly?”
Dream then said, truly pushing it at this point. Just wanting to hear George spell it out for him.
George groaned,
“You’re so annoying.”
Dream pushed his tip against the rim, almost pushing inside of him, causing George to loose his breathing for a moment. A small, needy noise slipping past his lips.
“Just tell me, George.”
George gave out a faint moan as he felt Dream pull back again, and the words sort of just slipped out of him,
“Fuck me, Dream.”
Dream gave a slight huff under his breath as he pulled back even further.
His grasp on George’s wrists then tightened, and he used his other hand to start jerking himself off.
The tip of his dick resting against George’s ass, where water droplets kept landing, before rolling down his skin.
George turned his head to glance over his shoulder, seeing Dream was moving his hand fast. Jerking himself off as he bit down on his bottom lip, his gaze focused on George’s ass.
His eyes then slipped shut, and George let out a small gasp as Dream’s cum landed on his ass, some of it hitting his lower back.
Dream then opened his eyes to look at his creation, admiring the sight of his own cum on George’s ass. Moving his hand to rub some of it into his skin with his thumb. Truly taking it all in before the water washed it off.
He then let out a soft huff, then pulled his own sweats back up again.
“Alright, thanks for letting me know, George.”
Dream mumbled, his grasp on George’s wrists easing up, before his hands moved off him entirely, as did his body.
He then reached over to turn the shower off, then pulled the shower curtains away to step out of the shower.
George could barely believe it, staring at the wall infront of him as a few droplets ran down his face.
Was he actually-
George turned his head to the side to see Dream dry his hair with a towel, a small grin dancing on his lips.
He..
No way.
Dream caught George’s gaze, and his grin grew slightly.
He then whispered,
“That’s your punishment.”
What, to bait him, cum on his ass, then leave him blue balled?
How is that-
And isn’t it punishing both of them?
Wouldn’t Dream have rather just fucked him right then?
George shut his eyes as he let out a frustrated sigh. He then looked at Dream again as he said,
“I hate you, Dream.”
Dream did a gesture for him to be silent just then, before pointing to his ear, then to the door.
George just rolled his eyes at him as he pulled his sweats back up, ignoring the fact that there was probably still some cum on him.
He then turned to push his back against the wall instead,
“You’re an idiot.”
He mumbled, not doing much to change the volume of his voice.
Dream scoffed lightly at his words, as he grabbed a towel to throw at George, who barely flinched as it landed on him.
He then began to unenthusiastically dry his hair, feeling beyond annoyed with Dream.
After drying off a bit, Dream went to look out the door.
He told George to stand back before he peeked out, and George strained himself to not just start screaming right then and there just to annoy him and ruin everything for him.
But after peeking out, Dream opened the door entirely and gestured for George to follow.
“They’re not here.”
He mumbled as he went to his suitcase to get a change of clothes.
George, somewhat reluctantly, followed his moves. Grabbing new clothes whilst still feeling annoyed and bothered.
After they’d both gotten changed into dry clothing, they headed downstairs to the kitchen. Finding it was empty, as well.
And as they went around the place, it seemed the whole house was empty.
“They probably went out to eat, then.”
Dream mumbled, as George stood leaned against the kitchen counter.
“Probably.”
George mumbled as Dream went to the fridge to check what they had.
“Are you gonna cook something?”
George asked as he glanced over at him.
“Sure,”
Dream mumbled as he took out some stuff from the fridge.
Seemed like he was gonna make them scrambled eggs.
He began to prepare their food as George remained standing by the counter. Sulking silently as he had his hands placed behind him on the counter, head turnt to the side as he held his gaze on the kitchen window.
Dream allowed the silence to settle between them for a moment as he worked on getting their food ready.
But when he said,
“So what do you wanna do today?”
George didn’t respond.
He just held his silence as he kept sulking.
Dream looked at him,
“George.”
No response.
It made Dream sigh,
“Stop being so annoying, George.”
It made George scoff lightly, and Dream added,
“Talk to me.”
“What do you want me to say, Dream?”
Dream huffed,
“Just answer my question, idiot.”
“Or what?”
George mumbled, looking over at Dream, who raised an eyebrow at him,
“Is that some sort of challenge or something?”
George gave a shrug, looking away from him again as he wet his lips.
Dream gave a light scoff, then stepped away from what he was doing. Walking over to George to tower over him. Placing his hands on each side of George to trap him between Dream’s body and the counter behind him.
“Stop sulking.”
“I’m not sulking.”
Dream looked down at him, staring him down with an intense gaze for a moment.
George glanced up at him, trying to hold his gaze and challenge it for a moment before he had to look away, feeling his face grow hot under his stare,
“What?”
He then said, sounding flustered.
Dream gave a slight huff,
“George, come on.”
George wet his lips, looking up at him through his lashes again,
“What, Dream?”
Dream was fighting back a smile at this point, just watching him trying to remain pissed off whilst also being so clearly flustered from standing so close to him, sharing eye contact with him.
“Nothing.”
Dream mumbled as he leaned down to press his lips against the place where George’s neck meets his shoulder,
“You’re cute.”
He then mumbled against his skin, smiling as he heard George respond,
“What?”
Sounding flustered, clearly struggling to keep being annoyed with him.
Dream mumbled,
“You heard me.”
Before he started kissing up his neck, making George sigh softly as he shifted slightly. Tipping his head slightly to the side to allow him further access as he mumbled,
“You’re so annoying, Dream.”
Dream let out a light laugh against his skin at that, before pulling back slightly to instead press their lips together.
George parted his lips against Dream’s almost instantly, eagerly responding to the kiss in such a contrast to his spoken words.
He then moaned against his lips as Dream pressed his body against his.
And subtly, he felt George’s fingertips delicately place at the back of his neck.
Carefully grasping to bring him in closer, deepen the kiss, get more of him.
But then all of this was, of course, once again interrupted as they heard the front door shut suddenly. Making all the little decorations hanging by the entrance jingle softly.
Dream was fast to pull away, making George’s breath hitch as he was torn from his fingertips. Watching as Dream turned his back to him entirely whilst taking three quick steps away from him.
Clearing his throat as the others came walking into the kitchen.
“There you are, George. Why didn’t you answer my texts?”
Sapnap asked, but George barely listened to what he was saying. He was just staring at the back of Dream’s neck, seeing his shoulders tense and wanting to just..
Punch him.
“Are you guys making food? We weren’t sure what you wanted so,”
Karl said, whilst placing down some takeout bag on the kitchen table as they’d apparently only gone out to get food to go.
Dream looked over at Karl,
“Uh, yeah. Yeah, we’re making, uh, eggs.”
George’s gaze dropped as Dream moved to go check what they’d bought. Putting on this fake type of over the top politeness, eagerness and interest in whatever they had to say and show.
Desperate to keep the subject off them and what they’d been up to just now.
It annoyed George.
It really did.
This wasn’t how their weekend was supposed to go.
At all.
George soon felt he’d had enough of just standing there. And honestly, of being around Dream.
So he pushed himself away from the counter and walked over to exit the kitchen, mumbling,
“I’m not hungry anymore.”
As he passed Dream.
He didn’t wait for any reply or answer any questions, he just went straight for the stairs to head to their bedroom.
George grabbed his phone, and was immediately greeted by the text Sapnap had sent him earlier.
He ignored it as it wasn’t of relevance anymore, and unlocked his phone to then just stare at it.
He wasn’t sure what to do.
Does he call someone?
Is there even anyone he can call in this situation?
Nobody else knows, but him and Dream.
Nobody knows he’s falling in love with him.
George locked his phone, sighing as he leaned his forehead against the palm of his hand. Shutting his eyes for a moment.
It wasn’t like he needed every soul on planet earth to know.
He barely even wanted most of their friends to know. The way they tease them now, he didn’t even want to imagine how they’d act with that knowledge.
But.. it would be nice if it wasn’t this huge secret.
It would be nice if they could be kissing as someone else walks in and not have to stop.
It would be nice if they could tell their friends they wanna be alone for a weekend away and then not have to worry about it being disrupted.
It would be nice if the others found a pair of handcuffs in Dream’s bag and didn’t automatically assume it was for some girl.
But then, they haven’t even gotten the chance to figure this out for themselves yet. They haven’t even put a word on what their current relationship is for just the two of them, so what would they even tell their friends?
George still didn’t even know if Dream actually has feelings for him, or if he truly was just messing around.
It was a mess. One that he really wanted them to figure out, the way they were supposed to during this trip. At the very least so he knows what to think of all this.
“George?”
He looked up, seeing Sapnap stand by the doorway to the bedroom.
“What, Sapnap?”
George mumbled.
“Me, Dream and Karl want to go out and play some volleyball. Wanna join us?”
George’s gaze dropped, not really feeling in the mood for it.
But then, he wasn’t exactly in the mood to be sat there and stare at the wall whilst they’re all gone, either.
So, he agreed to joining them.
George was on Sapnap’s team at first, against Karl and Dream. And he took every chance he could to target Dream with his hits, annoying Dream more and more as they kept playing.
Which really amused George, making him wanna keep pushing it and annoy him further. Finding the perfect way to get some of his frustrations out.
At some point they switched up the teams, and Karl suggested Dream and George would be a team.
Dream was somewhat reluctant about this after George had agitated him so much.
But then he ended up agreeing to it after all, telling George he’d be on his team if he ‘behaved’.
George just rolled his eyes at this, telling the others he was ready to start off the game.
And right of the bat, he did not behave at all.
Even on the same team as Dream, he would aim his shots at him every single time he got the chance.
“George! Stop being such a fucking idiot!”
Dream shouted at him after he’d shot his third ball at him.
George had to bite back his smile, getting a hold of the ball again to shoot it right at Dream, once again.
“George!!”
Dream shouted as he hit the ball, causing it to bounce to the side as he started running towards George, to then tackle him onto the sand.
It made George scream as he was tackled, looking up at Dream with an excited look in his eyes, as Dream pinned him down onto the sand.
“What the fuck is wrong with you, George?!”
George almost felt as if the air had been knocked out of him, his gaze dipping to Dream’s lips. His whole body feeling so hot as Dream held him down and shouted at him like that.
And Dream must’ve noticed his expression change. His eyelids growing a bit heavier, and his cheeks turning pink, as he swallowed hard and lightened his grasp on him. Mumbling,
“Just, start passing me the ball like a normal person, idiot.”
He then pulled away from him, clearing his throat as he got back up on his feet. Immediately looking over to see if the others had looked at them strangely just then.
George felt he needed a moment to collect himself as he stayed on the ground a bit longer.
That’s when Dream looked back over at him, and said,
“Dude, come on. Let’s play for real.”
‘Dude’?
…
‘DUDE’?!
George sat up, looking right at Dream with a look of disbelief.
He never, ever calls him..
Ever since they- he’d never-
His gaze traveled over to the other two, who stood talking on the other side of the net. Waiting for Dream and George to get their shit together and keep playing already.
George looked back at Dream again, seeing him avoid his gaze.
He said that so loud as well.
It was clear he wanted the others to hear that.
George sighed, standing back up and brushing some sand off his clothes and hands.
Suppose Dream has spoken.
Made up his mind.
So that’s how he wants their relationship to be. That’s his stance on them.
Alright.
Got it.
For the rest of the game there was this strange tension in the air that hung heavily between Dream and George.
George did keep trying to press Dream’s buttons and annoy him at every chance he got, but there was more of a pointed annoyance to it now.
And as he kept doing it, Dream would call him ‘dude’ again. And again.
And every time it happened, it bothered George.
When they got back to the house, it was time for them all to eat again. So they decided that Sapnap and Karl would go out and get them all takeout whilst the other two waited at the house.
“George,”
Dream spoke up the second the front door shut. Turning to George, who sat next to him in the living room sofa.
“Are you like, mad at me or something?”
George sighed, looking out at the ocean view through the large windows.
“I’m not mad.”
He then mumbled.
“Okay.. so, everything’s fine, then?”
Dream asked, and George simply nodded at this.
Then, it was silent for a moment.
Dream then said,
“Or, is it not? Like, I don’t, I don’t know- just talk to me, George.”
George’s gaze dropped,
“We came here to figure this, us, out, right?”
He said quietly, keeping his gaze on the floor as Dream mumbled,
“Uh, yeah?”
“So, I think.. things are a bit clearer now.”
“Okay.. Clearer, how?”
Dream asked, sounding confused by it all.
George’s gaze traveled up the window again, watching the ocean waves in the distance.
“It’s clear this won’t work.”
He then said, almost feeling his voice fail him as he spoke.
He had to shut his eyes as he heard Dream go,
“What?”
Almost hissing out the word. Before then adding,
“What are you- Why are you saying that, George?”
George drew a somewhat shaky breath, trying to think of how to even explain it, how to put it into words.
He was scared to.
He didn’t want to.
And wasn’t it just obvious anyways?
”George,”
Dream said as George felt him grab his arm, turn him so they’d face each other.
“Do you actually mean that? You wanna end this?”
George pulled his arm out of his grasp,
“What even is ‘this’? There’s nothing to end.”
He sort of regretted the words the moment they came out of his mouth.
Cause sure, they hadn’t put an exact label on what the hell they were, but that didn’t erase all the stuff they’d done together.
All that they’d said to each other.
And then there was the hurt in Dream’s expression right then and there that made him want to just run away.
So he stood up, making his way around the sofa so he could leave, feeling too embarrassed to stick around.
But then Dream got out,
“Well we’re married, so this isn’t ‘nothing’.”
George halted in his tracks,
“Yeah, for a visa.”
“But it’s not- it’s not just for the visa.”
George spun around to look at him,
“Is it not?”
They stared at each other for a moment, and it seemed like Dream was struggling to find the right words.
That’s when George said,
“Say that to Sapnap, then. And Karl. Tell them.”
Dream stared at him, lips parting,
“I- George-“
“Whatever, Dream.”
George mumbled, before he turned to walk out of the room, not wanting to hear him make excuses when it was pretty clear at this point that he was just toying with him.
This wasn’t a permanent thing in Dream’s head.
If he’d tell the others it would become permanent. Real.
But he clearly doesn’t want that to happen, and he doesn’t want them to know.
Cause this is all just him messing around. Him being… curious, or something. It wasn’t real to him.
It didn’t take long for the other two to return with the food, and they all sat down to eat together.
There was a small part of George that had hope just then, as they all sat together, that maybe Dream would speak up.
Tell them what’s been going on between him and George, turn this whole thing around again.
But Dream did no such thing.
He was mostly silent as they ate, only politely laughing here and there and answering when someone spoke to him. But for the most part he just held his silence and poked at his food.
Similarly to how George behaved throughout the whole thing.
It was truly surprising how the others didn’t pick up on anything being off between them.
After they’d all finished eating, Karl and Sapnap suggested they’d all go out together.
Dream sighed at the suggestion, as he leaned back in his seat. He wasn’t really a big party goer himself.
“I’m just gonna stay here. You guys can still go out if you want to.”
Sapnap nodded, seeming quite unsurprised by his answer.
He then turned to George,
“George?”
He said, directing the question onto him instead.
“Where would we go?”
He asked Sapnap, who shrugged.
“We’ll find a place. That’s not a problem, don’t worry about that.”
Karl responded to his question.
George then shrugged, glancing over at Dream, who was secretly hoping he wouldn’t go.
Sure, it’s up to him and all, and if he wants to have fun with the others then there’s nothing Dream can do really to stop him from joining them.
But he just hoped he wouldn’t.
He knew it would be impossible for him to focus on a single thing if George was out, at some club. His imagination would run wild with worries of who’d be approaching him and what he’d be up to.
He’d go crazy.
“I don’t know, I think I’ll stay here, Sapnap.”
Dream looked over at George, feeling both relieved and a bit surprised to hear he was staying back.
Mostly relieved.
Sapnap sighed,
“Alright, looks like it’s just me and Karl, then. Means you two will be alone for a bit.”
Karl made a teasing, mocking sound at that, as if insinuating they’d get up to something suggestive once they were alone.
Which in all honesty they definitely would have, if things weren’t so painfully weird and tense between them now.
Being alone together is probably the last thing they should be doing at the moment.
Dream looked over at George, who didn’t look back at him.
Yep, this was definitely gonna be tense.
The moment Karl and Sapnap had left, the house felt so empty. So.. silent.
George was the first to turn and walk away, going up the stairs to then shut the door behind himself as soon as he got into the bedroom.
Dream sighed, rubbing his jawline. This was gonna be a few awkward hours.
It was almost funny, when you think of it, how they wanted to be alone this entire trip, then when they finally get to be alone it’s when they really shouldn’t be.
Dream felt restlessness kick in not even ten minutes after the others had left. He didn’t quite know what to do, and it was hard for him to relax in general when he knew George was mad at him.
Eventually, he ended up walking over to the downstairs living room, where he sat down on the sofa, pulling his phone out.
He then began scrolling Twitter, answering some fans just to pass the time. Avoiding questions that were about George as best as he could.
But the longer he was on the app, the harder it got avoiding all the tweets about George.
There were so many pictures of him everywhere, reminding Dream of just how pretty the brunet was.
He even stumbled upon some pictures from when George met Patches for the first time, which truly was a memorable moment Dream was very fond of.
As he kept scrolling he also saw a bunch of fanart of him and George. The two of them cuddling on the sofa, another one where they were stargazing, kissing, hugging.
It truly made it difficult for him to think of anything but George, and eventually he had to lock his phone and rub his face as he let out a frustrated sigh.
He really couldn’t stand this tension.
He had to try to speak to George again.
Dream knocked lightly on the bedroom door, then waited for a reply.
But there was nothing.
He cleared his throat, knocking again,
“George.”
Still no response.
Dream sighed, grabbing the doorknob to just open the door anyways.
George didn’t even glance up at him as he entered the room, keeping his gaze glued to his phone.
“Why didn’t you answer when I knocked?”
Dream asked.
“Didn’t hear you.”
George mumbled, keeping his gaze on the device in his hands.
Dream wasn’t quite sure if he believed him, but he wasn’t gonna fight him over it. Walking over to the bed to sit down by the edge of it.
“So what are you up to?”
He mumbled, glancing over at George.
“Nothing.”
George mumbled back, typing something on his phone.
“Are you talking to someone?”
“No.”
George responded, whilst still very clearly typing.
Dream gave a sigh, looking out the window instead.
“We should… talk, George.”
“About what?”
Dream gave a half hearted scoff,
“You already know what, idiot.”
“Don’t call me that.”
Dream looked over at George, keeping his gaze on him.
“Why not?”
“It’s.. annoying.”
Dream’s gaze dropped, before he turned his head to face the window again.
A silent moment passed, whilst tension rose between them.
Dream could feel the tension settle in his own shoulders, making him stiff and almost afraid to move.
He knew George was hurt. Saying what he said just now, was him pushing Dream away. Because he’s hurt.
And he’s the one who hurt him.
Which… really fucking sucked.
George is the last person on the planet he’d ever want to hurt.
“I’m sorry, George.”
Dream finally mumbled, breaking the loud silence between them.
It seemed as if George was processing his words for a moment, before saying,
“About what?”
“About.. this trip. It wasn’t meant to be this way. It was supposed to be just us.”
“I don’t know why you’re so bothered by them knowing, anyways.”
Dream turned to look at him, seeing George had put his phone down now.
“Aren’t you?”
George gave a shrug,
“I don’t know.”
Dream’s gaze dropped, and another stretched out moment of silence filled the space between them.
He then finally spoke again,
“The reason I don’t want them knowing is because.. I mean, I don’t even know what this is, yet. None of us do. It feels dumb to introduce them to this whole thing when we don’t even know what to call it ourselves.”
“And how long is it gonna take you to figure out the answer to that?”
Dream stared at him,
“What? You mean, what we are?”
“Yes.”
“You make it sound like you’ve got it figured out already.”
“I have.”
“Right, I almost forgot. You think this won’t work. That we’re ‘nothing’.”
“No.”
Dream paused, gaze glued to George’s face. Seeing him turn his head towards the window.
“Then answer the question yourself, George. What are we?”
George’s gaze dropped. Sighing deeply without giving an answer to Dream’s question.
After keeping his gaze on George for a moment longer, Dream looked over at the window instead.
“This is such a mess, George.”
George huffed at his words. But Dream continued,
“Before we did all of those interviews.. before we.. you know, did all of that.. Things weren’t as confusing. I knew what you were to me, you were my best friend, someone I’ve built a whole life with.”
George’s gaze traveled over to Dream, resting on his features as Dream continued,
“But now.. now I just… I mean I look at you, and all I wanna do is kiss you. Touch you. I hear your voice and it’s like-“
He groaned, pushing his hands into his hair as George sat staring at him, his own heart speeding up as he listened to Dream’s confession.
“I think I’m falling in love with you, George. And.. I have been, for.. I don’t even know how long it’s been.”
George stared at him, the words hitting him. Making his cheeks heat up as it felt unreal hearing those words leave Dream’s mouth.
He then spoke,
“Last year.”
Dream looked at George, who’s gaze dropped as he kept speaking,
“I think it was when we didn’t talk to each other for a few days, last year. We both answered that same thing during the interviews.”
George looked down at his hands,
“I think that’s when it started. Before any of us even realized.”
“You told me you answered something else on that question.”
Dream said, staring at him.
George avoided his gaze as he said,
“I lied.”
The room fell silent after he’d uttered his words. Clearly they’d both just put a lot on the table, leaving them both with a lot to think about.
George looked out the window for a moment. He then mumbled,
“So what does this mean, Dream?”
“You want me to say it?”
“Yes.”
Dream huffed,
“It means we’re idiots who didn’t realize we were in love with each other a lot sooner.”
George looked at him. Silently staring at him for a moment, before he burst out laughing.
It just.. sounded so funny when he put it like that. So ridiculous. They were, ridiculous.
And there was this bubbly excitement in his entire body just then. Hearing Dream confess like this, and be able to finally speak about all of this with him. It made him all jittery, forming butterflies in his stomach.
“Oh my god..”
George mumbled under his breath, rubbing his cheek with his hand. It all felt like a dream, one he didn’t want to wake up from.
“I mean, that’s pretty much what it is, isn’t it?”
Dream said, to which George gave a shrug whilst keeping the biggest smile on his lips.
“Whatever you say, Dream.”
“You’re an idiot. You’re in love with me, George. Just say it.”
“I don’t know, am I?”
Dream shook his head at his behavior. He then stood up, walking over to where George was laying on the bed,
“Tell me you love me, George.”
George looked up at him,
“No.”
To this, Dream reached down to start tickling him, making George give out a fit of laughter immediately.
“Say it, George! Say you love me!”
“No- Dream!”
“I’m not gonna stop until you say it!”
Dream exclaimed, before moving to get on top of him on the bed, tickling him as his body weight held him down.
George could barely breathe from laughing so much, his hands pulling at Dream’s clothing.
“I know you love me, George! Just say it!”
Feeling as if he couldn’t take any more of the tickling, George said,
“Okay, stop- I’ll- Dream-“
“Will you say it if I stop?”
“Yes-“
And immediately, Dream stopped tickling him. Expecting him to speak the words next.
George groaned, tipping his head back as he shut his eyes.
“I hate you, Dream.”
Dream looked at him for a moment. Almost a bit baffled by how he’d tricked him, made him think he was actually gonna say it just now.
“Oh yeah?”
He said, moving his hands to grab George’s wrists, pinning them down by the sides of his head.
“Say it again, then. If you really mean it.”
He said, as he looked right at George, who opened his eyes, staring back at him through his lashes.
His gaze then dipped to Dream’s lips,
“I hate you.”
He mumbled, his words barely audible.
Not one sliver of truth to them.
“I’m so sure.”
Dream said, his voice low as one of his hands released George’s wrist, then moved down his body. Pushing his hand under his shirt as he leaned down close to his ear,
“If you hate me, then why do you love it when I touch you like this?”
He said, as he ran his hand up his bare skin, finding one of his nipples and flicking it as he rolled his hips down, pressing their bodies together.
George could barely breathe, his whole body feeling as if it was being lit on fire.
He shut his eyes as he felt Dream move his hand down to his pants instead, cupping his bulge that was growing by the second as Dream said,
“Or when I touch you here?”
It made George’s breath hitch, and he had to bite back a moan. His free hand going up to push into his hair to stop himself from grabbing Dream, pull him closer.
He was truly fighting to restrain himself.
Dream then pulled back, looking right at him.
George opened his eyes to look back at him through his lashes. Right as Dream’s gaze dipped to his lips,
“If you hate me, then why do you want to kiss me right now?”
“I don’t.”
George got out, voice weak.
The biggest lie of the century.
Dream saw right through it, a smile almost grazing his lips.
He then dipped down and almost captured his lips, pausing right before their lips brushed against each other.
“You sure about that?”
George let out a shaky breath, shifting slightly below him as he was growing hot with want.
He wanted to kiss him so, so bad.
So he leaned up, closing the distance between them. Kissing Dream, who was fast to respond by kissing him back, causing George to give out a small moan against his lips.
And in that moment he couldn’t hold back from grabbing onto Dream’s shirt anymore, pulling his body even closer as Dream deepened the kiss.
Dream parted George’s lips with his own, pushing his tongue into his mouth as he rolled his hips down to meet him once again, causing the boy below him to moan.
His hand then pushed under George’s shirt once more, fingertips tracing hot, bare skin as he began kissing down his jaw, down to his neck.
George tipped his head back with a soft moan, hands grabbing at Dream’s shirt as he arched up into the touch of his fingertips.
Dream’s other hand then let go of George’s wrist, moving down his body to get to George’s sweats as he started kissing George’s lips again.
He then captured his bottom lip between his teeth as he began pushing George’s sweats off.
George shifted slightly to help getting the fabric off him, one of his hands going down to push it off further.
His heart was beating so fast in his chest, excitement rushing through him as Dream disregarded his sweats and underwear to the side.
Dream then pulled back, his hand digging into his own pants pocket before he pulled out a small packet of sorts.
He then tore it open with his teeth, a liquid spilling out onto his fingers, which he gathered up as much as he could before throwing the packet to the side.
George watched him between his spread out legs, his feet placed on the bed. His lips were parted, breathing heavy as Dream’s gaze shifted to lock with his,
“If you hate me then I bet you’ll really hate this.”
Dream mumbled, moving his lubed up fingers down to George’s ass.
George almost gasped as he felt Dream start to push one lubed up finger between his ass cheeks, pushing it into his hole.
He kept pushing it further inside of him and George felt as if his whole body was lit on fire. His hand going up to push into his hair, his lips parting and eyes falling shut.
They’d done many things together, but not this.
He’d never experienced this before.
Dream leaned down to kiss down his jawline again as he began moving his finger in and out of him, picking up his pace pretty fast which had George struggling to breathe as his head was spinning.
It was overwhelming, his one hand moving from grabbing at his hair to trying to find a pillow behind him to hold on to, his short nails grabbing at soft fabric as he arched his back slightly. A moan slipping out of him as Dream moved faster.
“Dre-“
He moaned out, his breathing fast and heavy.
It was such a foreign feeling to him, yet it felt amazing. And the fact that it was Dream doing it, Dream’s fingers inside of him, made it even better.
It was like he’d been waiting for this for so long. Wanted this for so, so long.
He soon felt Dream add another finger, then immediately began going at the same fast pace again, causing George to push his head back as he let out a moan.
His entire body felt like it was burning up, and he could feel Dream begin to place hickeys on his neck, down to his collarbone. Pushing his shirt down to place more on his chest.
Dream then pulled back to look at him, making George want to hide his burning face as he felt so exposed.
“You really seem to hate this, George.”
He then said, voice low, his words clearly sarcastic.
George moaned, feeling so hot under his gaze. And all of it really was just so overwhelming.
He put a hand over his face to shield his embarrassing expressions, moaning softly against his own skin.
But then he felt Dream grab his wrist and remove his hand from his face, pinning his wrist above his head as he looked down at George.
His lips were parted as his gaze studied George’s face, a darkness in his eyes that held a certain intrigue from watching George like this.
It made George feel even more flustered and exposed, a soft whine escaping him before he moaned,
“Dream..”
Dream swallowed, taking in his entire state. All of his reactions to what Dream’s fingers was doing to him.
That’s when Dream suddenly blurted out,
“I wanna have sex with you.”
George’s breath hitched, gaze snapping up to meet Dream’s.
“Please,”
He mumbled, sounding almost embarrassingly needy. Feeling excitement rushing through him, his mind already running away with images of it all.
He’d wanted this for so long.
He’d been so curious of what it would feel like, to have Dream actually inside of him.
Right after hearing George’s plea, Dream leaned back, pulling his fingers out of him to start undoing his own pants instead.
He struggled slightly, his fingers all lubed up, his hard on pressing up against the inside of his pants. But soon enough he managed to get them undone.
He then stroked himself a few times with the remaining lube he still had on his fingers, watching George with a sort of hunger in his gaze.
He then decided to take his shirt off, grabbing it and pulling it off, discarding the fabric to the side.
George watched him, excitement rising in his chest, heart pounding fast. Wondering what that thing was gonna feel like inside of him, how it would even fit to begin with.
He then watched as Dream positioned himself between his legs, which was truly a sight taken out of a wet dream.
Dream then threw a quick glance at his face, before he began pushing his length inside of him.
George’s mouth fell open, his head tipping back. And for a moment he couldn’t form a single coherent thought, nothing escaped his lips as it was so overwhelming.
He definitely felt this more than his two fingers.
And as Dream kept pushing, it felt like he was being torn in two.
For a moment he wondered if he should try asking Dream to pause for a bit, but all that came from that idea was his hand going up in the air, then dance there for a moment as he struggled to even think properly.
And he didn’t want Dream to stop, either.
He still wanted more.
Once he’d pushed most of his length inside of him, Dream placed his hands on each side of George as he leaned over him, hanging his head forward.
“Fuck,”
Dream said under his breath, clearly also finding it to be a bit overwhelming.
He then dipped his head down to start kissing George, who was barely even breathing as he was getting used to his length fitting inside of him.
George faintly kissed back, a small moan slipping out of him as Dream began pushing out of him again. His hand slightly shaky as he moved it up to push into Dream’s hair.
Dream then pushed back inside of him, and it hit George like a wave. Pain and pleasure all at once, causing him to tear away from the kiss and turn his head to the side. A moan slipping out of him as he began to tear up behind closed eyelids.
“Dream-“
He whined softly, his fingers blindly searching for something steady to grab onto next to his head.
But then he felt Dream’s hand place over his wrist, grabbing it to pin it down as he started going in and out of him as a faster pace.
It was definitely a lot. It felt overwhelming to George, who once again contemplated asking Dream to stop for a moment.
Let him breathe, think.
He really couldn’t even think for the moment, trying hard to bite back embarrassing sounds that kept slipping past his lips.
He really hadn’t expected it to feel this… much. This intense.
He suddenly felt Dream’s thumb press on his bottom lip to free it from his teeth, speaking under his breath,
“Stop silencing yourself, George.”
He then placed his hand next to him instead, as he leaned down close to his ear,
“Tell me how it feels to have me inside of you.”
Dream pushed into him a bit harder just then, and that’s when he hit the spot just right. Causing George to moan loudly, his free hand grabbing onto the bedsheets as he arched his back off the bed, feeling Dream hit that spot over and over again.
It was making him absolutely lose it.
It was too much.
“You like that?”
Dream asked, his voice low.
George pushed his head to the side as he cried out in response, his hand going up to blindly grab at Dream. High pitched sounds he didn’t even know he could make coming out of him with every thrust Dream did, but he still couldn’t form a proper sentence to actually answer his question.
How did it feel?
Fucking amazing.
It felt almost too amazing.
It felt like he was losing control of something which he couldn’t get a grasp of, causing his whole body to heat up with embarrassment as he felt himself grow closer and closer to actually coming.
But it didn’t feel like it usually does when he gets off.
It was way more intense. It felt.. new. Different.
It was something he really wasn’t familiar with, which was scary yet strangely exhilarating.
“Answer my question, George.”
Dream soon demanded, and George gave a moan in response before saying,
“I- I can’t- I- Dream-“
George was blindly clawing at Dream’s skin with his short nails, and Dream soon grabbed that wrist and pinned it next to his head. Holding both of his wrists pinned down as he sped up his thrusts even more.
“Call out for me again, George.”
George moaned,
“Dream-“
It was just about the only word he could manage to say in this state. The only coherent thought he could process.
“Again,”
Dream demanded, his tone quick and breathing heavy.
“Dream- Dream- Dream- ah- Dream-“
George said between his moans, pushing his head back as Dream’s grip on his wrists tightened.
“Do you like having me inside of you?”
Dream then asked, and all George could do was nod as a tear spilled down his cheek, along with another moan slipping out of him.
Normally he’d try to fight back on it and try to evade the question even more, not give him the satisfaction of knowing how much he liked it.
But he was in such a state that he couldn’t even think of things like that for the moment. Such mind games were out of the question.
“George,”
Dream then said with a slightly softer tone.
“George look at me.”
George swallowed, his throat dry from moaning so much. Blinking slowly to look up at Dream.
His sight was all blurry from tears and it really hit him just then how tear soaked his cheeks were as well.
“Do you love me, George?”
Dream then asked, and George couldn’t find it within himself to lie,
“Yes.”
He admitted through uneven breathing, shutting his eyes again before airily speaking,
“I love you, Dream.”
A split second later, he felt Dream’s lips against his own. Making his head spin as he was struggling to breathe.
Dream then parted from the kiss to say,
“I love you too, George.”
In the lowest yet softest tone.
George felt his face heat up from the exchange, and he turned his head to the side again as he let out a soft whine.
Dream then dipped down, pausing right next to his ear,
“Do you want me to make you cum, George?”
“Please,”
George got out.
“Then call out for me, baby.”
As the nickname slipped out of Dream, George pushed his head back as he softly moaned,
“Daddy-“
As soon as the word left his lips, he could hear Dream’s breath hitch, as he felt a bit of precum come out of the tip of Dream’s dick, pushing deep inside of him. He then felt him go faster, his grip on his wrists tightening,
“Again, George. Say that again.”
“Daddy- Dream-“
“Louder, baby,”
“Da- ahh- Daddy-“
He moaned out, voice strained, high pitched and needy.
They were both so close, and all it really took was one more thrust from Dream before George moaned out,
“Dream-“
He gasped out, mouth then falling open as his eyes rolled back. A wave of pleasure washing over him as he came, perhaps harder than ever before.
His back was arched off the bed and he stopped breathing for a moment.
And as he was at the height of his orgasm, he felt Dream push in a bit extra hard, then come inside of him. Filling him up in a new and foreign way that felt overwhelming yet amazing.
They remained like that for a while, as they were both coming back from their high. Their heavy panting filling up the entire upstairs floor.
“Oh my god,”
George mumbled under his breath, pushing his hand into his hair. Giving a light scoff that barely came out of him as he was truly exhausted from what they’d just done.
He just couldn’t believe what had just happened.
They were fighting just an hour ago, things were so tense, and yet somehow they ended up having sex. Along with exchanging embarrassing love confessions.
He whined softly as he felt Dream move slightly inside of him. He was still inside of him, as was his whole load.
It made his head spin just thinking about it.
Dream leaned down and pressed his lips against George’s shoulder, and George’s hand went up to lazily push his fingers into Dream’s hair.
He was so exhausted, they both were. And falling asleep like this right then and there seemed like a very appealing option just then.
But Dream soon pulled out, causing George to groan out,
“Dream,”
Softly, as he pushed his head to the side. Now feeling uncomfortably empty.
Dream gave a small huff,
“What?”
He mumbled with a small grin grazing his lips. It seemed like he was really enjoying George’s needy tone just then.
He then began to move off George, pushing his pants back on before laying down next to him instead.
George rolled over, placing his head against Dream’s shoulder, curling up against him as he placed one hand on his chest.
“George,”
Dream said softly, moving his arm to place one hand on his back.
George tipped his head back to look up at him, his eyes shiny.
Dream looked back down at him, his heart clenching in a way that could truly only be described as love.
He loved him. He really did.
“Why are you smiling like an idiot?”
George mumbled, gaze dipping to Dream’s lips.
Was he smiling?
Dream hadn’t even noticed it himself, but he really was beaming with a soft, fond smile as he looked down at George. His heart feeling so full.
He gave a soft huff,
“Because I love you, idiot.”
He could see a pink tint spread across George’s cheeks, his lashes fluttering as he took his words in.
He then let out a flustered whine,
“You can’t just say stuff like that, Dream.”
Dream ignored his words, moving his hand to cup his face to then lean down and kiss him. Slowly, softly, lovingly.
He soon parted from the kiss, giving George one more fond look before he moved his hands. Grabbing George and moving him to get on his lap instead.
George placed both hands on his chest, the blush on his cheeks darkening slightly as he sat straddling his crotch, with his own bottom half still completely bare. Some cum still leaking out of him, onto Dream’s pants.
“Dream-“
He said, watching Dream push his hand into his pants pocket and dig out his phone. He then began to type something as George watched him.
“What’re you doing?”
George asked, gaze shifting from the phone in Dream’s hands to his face.
“Texting Sapnap.”
“What’re you texting him?”
Dream cleared his throat, finishing the text before reading it,
“Don’t come back tonight, I’m having sex with George.”
He then pressed the send button, before discarding the phone to the side. Leaning up as he placed his hands on each side of George waist.
George gave out a laugh,
“Wait- Dream, actually? Did you actually just send that?”
Dream chuckled as he pressed a kiss on top of a hickey he’d placed on George’s skin earlier.
“Yes.”
He mumbled, kissing up his neck. His hand moving down to the hem of George’s shirt,
“Take your shirt off.”
He said against his skin, and all George could do was obey him. Grabbing the shirt to pull it off his body.
Dream then threw the fabric to the side as George let out a huff, tipping his head back,
“Dream,”
He practically moaned out.
“What?”
Dream mumbled.
“I can’t believe you actually told him.”
Dream was woken up the next morning by his phone ringing.
He groaned, untangling his limbs from George. They were both fully naked, and his body felt slightly sore from their activities that previous night.
He moved to blindly search for his ringing phone in the bed, hearing George groan softly next to him as he was waking up as well.
He finally found the device, grabbing it to see it was Sapnap calling him.
And it was one pm.
He pressed the answer call button, then put the device to his ear.
“Yeah?”
He could hear sleep heavily lacing his own voice as he spoke.
“Dream?”
“Yeah?”
“Uh, okay, so… we’re outside the house. Can we come in or are you guys.. busy?”
Dream ran his hand through his hair, glancing at George who barely seemed to be waking up at all.
“Uh, give us five minutes or something.”
Dream mumbled, and heard Sapnap go,
“Alright.”
He then moved his phone away from his ear and hung up.
Dream then looked at his phone, and was immediately met with their text conversation from the previous night.
Right.
He’d actually texted him that.
And he hadn’t even seen Sapnap’s reply until now. Apparently he’d responded,
‘What?’
‘Actually?’
‘Dream??’
‘Are you serious or are you guys just messing with us?’
There was then a time gap before his next message, which said,
‘Alright, got it. We’re sleeping somewhere else.’
The next time he messaged him after that was just a few minutes ago, saying they were outside wondering if they could come in and such. Seemed calling him was his last resort option.
Dream locked his phone and tossed it to the side, yawning as he laid back down again.
“George,”
He then mumbled.
He got a mumbled reply back, barely coherent.
“Sapnap and Karl are waiting for us.”
He could hear George roll over next to him, groaning as he probably also felt quite sore all over.
“Why?”
He then mumbled.
Dream gave a faint chuckle,
“Probably cause all their stuff is here, idiot.”
George whined softly,
“Dream,”
Dream looked at him, seeing George push his legs up to curl his body into a ball, seeming to just wanna stay in bed forever.
“Can’t you tell them to leave?”
Dream scoffed softly,
“No.”
He then sighed as George whined like some spoiled child.
“Come on, George.”
Dream then mumbled as he got up, nudging George to move as well.
It took a moment, but eventually both Dream and George got out of bed.
George then insisted that he wanted to shower, which Dream wanted to join in on but they really didn’t have the time.
So George went into the shower as Dream got dressed. He then went downstairs to finally let their friends in.
“We got food.”
Sapnap said, as him and Karl put their takeout bags onto the kitchen table.
Dream nodded as he yawned, still feeling too tired to fully socialize.
“Where’s George?”
Sapnap then asked, as Karl began to take out the food from the bags.
“Showering.”
Dream mumbled, pushing his hands into the pockets of his sweats as he leaned against the wall behind him.
He hadn’t gotten very many hours of sleep, they’d even been awake when the sun was beginning to rise, and all he wanted to do now was go sleep for a few more hours. Then have sex with George again.
Then maybe repeat that cycle for the rest of his life, or something like that.
“So, you two, you’re..”
Sapnap began, seeming a bit unsure around the subject,
“You’re actually, like, a thing now or something?”
Dream tipped his head back against the wall as he said,
“Yep, pretty much.”
Feeling a bit tense to speak about it.
It was new for him, to have others know about it. Have them know he actually has feelings for him.
“I thought you guys only married so George could move here.”
Sapnap said as Karl started fetching utensils for their food.
“I mean, it was just for that, at first.”
Dream said as he glanced over to see Karl get some plates as well.
“So what changed?”
Sapnap asked.
Dream shrugged,
“I don’t know. We just realized it was more than that.”
Sapnap nodded as Karl placed down some utensils in front of him.
It looked like he wanted to say something more, but was holding it back.
And just as Dream was about to ask him to spit it out, Sapnap spoke again,
“I just wish you’d told me sooner. Instead of me having to find out from hearing you two banging upstairs.”
The air turned slightly tense at that, and Dream noticed Karl halt in his movements slightly.
Dream then looked at the floor as he cleared his throat,
“What do you mean you heard us?”
He asked, as he glanced over at Sapnap again.
Karl was quick to raise his hands in defense,
“I mean I didn’t really- it wasn’t like-“
“We came back to the house last night cause I thought you guys were messing with us. Then we heard George- I didn’t even understand it was George at first, I thought you’d left some porno on or something. He sounded so.. he was so.. loud.”
Sapnap spoke, a slight disgusted look on his face as he had to think back on the whole thing, remembering what he’d heard from the upstairs bedroom.
They hadn’t even remembered to shut the door before they started going at it, so it would be pretty much impossible to step one foot into the house without hearing them.
Karl looked between the two of them, then chimed in and said,
“I swear I wasn’t listening, Dream. Just so you know. It was mostly Sapnap who- I mean I didn’t even really hear anything, actually.”
Dream didn’t pay much attention to his words, keeping his gaze on Sapnap who seemed more bothered by it.
“Well it’s not my fault, I warned you guys not to come back here.”
Sapnap gave a defensive shrug,
“How was I supposed to know you meant it? It’s not like you’d told me anything was going on before! And it’s not the first time you’ve jokingly said you’re gonna have sex with George!”
“Okay, but it wasn’t a joke this time!”
“And how would I know that?!”
Dream looked away from Sapnap, finding him slightly ridiculous for seeming annoyed with him for not saying anything sooner.
As the tension rose amongst them, along with a painful silence in the room, Karl started silently eating their takeout.
Dream sighed deeply, before looking over at him.
“I’m sorry you had to hear that, Karl. I thought Sapnap wasn’t such an idiot and would understand my text.”
Dream then mumbled, his words directed at Karl, who looked up at him with a slightly startled gaze as Sapnap rolled his eyes at his words.
Karl then gave a slightly nervous chuckle,
“Oh, it’s fine. Don’t worry about it, dude. I mean, yeah, I was there. But I swear I barely heard anything, Sapnap was so quick to turn around the moment he realized what was going on, and I was barely even listening, I promise.”
Dream nodded, poking at his fingernails as he kept his gaze lowered.
He then mumbled,
“I’ll pay you guys for whatever hotel you had to stay at.”
Karl swatted his hand in the air as to dismiss his offer,
“Oh it’s fine. Don’t worry about it.”
Dream’s gaze shifted to Sapnap, who then said,
“Yeah, pay me. You should pay me. You owe me for keeping this a secret.”
Dream gave a small scoff at that, but he was gonna pay him later.
And he did feel bad. Standing there at that moment, he truly felt regret over not just telling them the moment they first got to the house.
Or maybe he could’ve told Sapnap way earlier than that, even.
He felt ridiculous for dancing around it for so long, for not just making things official with George way sooner.
The previous night, everything had felt so.. right. And telling George he loved him, felt right. That he was in love with him. Had been, for so long now.
It bothered him how much time he’d wasted on being so blind to it, especially when his heart had been screaming at him this entire time.
Dream soon moved to the table, taking a seat so he could dig into the food along with the other two. Trying to ignore the lingering tension in the air and focus on eating some food, as he was pretty much starving at this point.
And as they ate, they thankfully got onto the topic of other things that had went down the previous night, and the tension that had settled in the air previously was dissipating.
George then entered the room, wet hair hanging over his forehead as he wore a hoodie and some sweats that belonged to Dream. Both fit him too large, the hoodie was oversized on him and the pants were clearly too long for his legs.
But he seemed to wear the fabrics with a sort of pride in his chest. And his face was glowing. He looked to be at peace in some way, a harmony about his energy that settled in the air as he went.
He sat down next to Dream and immediately stole some food from his plate. Giggling when Dream tried telling him off, softly calling him an ‘idiot’ as he moved his hand to the side of George’s stomach, tickling him slightly which had George swat him and go,
“Dream, stop.”
Sapnap stared at them, gaze shifting between the two. He then said,
“I can’t believe I didn’t see it sooner.”
Dream huffed lightly, putting an arm around the backrest of George’s chair.
“Didn’t see what sooner?”
George asked Sapnap, who just dismissed the topic as he shook his head slightly,
“Don’t worry about it, Gogy.”
“So when are you guys gonna kiss?”
Karl then asked, mostly just to tease the two of them.
But Dream then leaned down and pressed a kiss to George’s forehead, which made George roll his eyes and make a slight disgusted face, whilst fighting back a smile.
“What’s wrong with you, Dream?”
George mumbled in a fond tone that he just couldn’t hide even if he tried. Lightly pushing him away with his hand, as if acting annoyed over the gesture.
“So are you guys gonna start sharing a room now or something? Back at the house?”
Sapnap asked, to which Dream nonchalantly said,
“We already do.”
Eliciting a laugh from George as Sapnap stared at him.
“What? Since when?”
“I don’t know, it’s been a while actually.”
Dream mumbled as George stole more food from his plate.
“Just get your own plate, idiot.”
Dream mumbled as he watched him, ruffling his hair slightly to annoy him in return.
George swatted his hand away, then sat back happily with his stolen food, ignoring Dream’s words.
“I can’t believe you guys never told me about this.”
Sapnap mumbled, sounding a bit annoyed to be left out.
“So what did you guys do yesterday?”
George asked with a mouthful of food, ignoring Sapnap’s whining.
As Karl and Sapnap began retelling what their night had been like, Dream got up suddenly and said he had to make a phone call.
He came back soon after, and announced he’d rented the house for two more days.
But only for him and George.
“It’s only two days, we’ll check up on each other, okay?”
Dream said to Sapnap as they were waving off him and Karl later that day.
“What if you guys don’t answer when I call?”
“Then we call you back when we can.”
George mumbled, not finding the issue to be the end of the world like Sapnap was making it out to be.
Sapnap sighed,
“It’s gonna be so empty without you guys.”
“You’ll be fine. Now bye Sapnap!”
George said, clearly a bit impatient to get his alone time with Dream.
They shared proper goodbyes, even though it was only gonna be for two days.
Sapnap and Karl then left, Dream and George shut the front door, and then it was silence.
Finally.
It was just the two of them in the house.
“Wanna go outside or something?”
Dream asked, to which George scoffed. Grabbing his shirt to pull him down, mumbling,
“You’re an idiot.”
Before pressing their lips together.
