The pub was full tonight, of people playing pool, dancing, talking, or just drinking.
Toni was behind the bar serving the people their drinks.
She noticed a group walk in, Jughead and Fangs were with them.
Fangs had his arm around a taller boy.
While Jughead walked beside a redheaded boy, as the two were behind a blonde girl and Veronica.
The rest of the group Toni didn't know.
She only knew Veronica from doing business with the girl's father a few times, and obviously knowing Fangs and Jughead from the gang.
Fangs sneakily pointed to the boy he was with and then gave her the thumbs up.
Toni's shuffled a laugh, he must be the northsider Fangs met at pop's one night.

As the night progressed, Toni noticed one of the redheads sat at the bar most of the time besides dancing with the other girls in her group. After a few more minutes Toni went to go see if she wanted a drink. "Hey Red, you drinkin or just sittin?"
The girl looked up and when their eyes met Toni swallowed, "I'm not that big of a drinker. I wouldn't know what I would get anyways"
"I could make ya something if you'd like"
"Yeah sure"
Toni smiled, she seemed to have the redheads attention as she turned on her stool to face Toni more. "You like whiskey?" Toni asked, holding up a bottle of bourbon.
"Yes?" She said hesitantly. Toni nodded before turning around and grabbed a few other things, "Allergic to eggs?"
"No" She said once more, sitting up straighter as Veronica made her way over. "I know the perfect thing then" Toni rasped, her back still turned as she began preparing the drink. Veronica didn't want to interrupt her so she sat beside the redhead. Deciding to take a break and chat.
The two girls didn't talk much however, Once Toni started the shake the girls drink she turned around, "Hey T"
"what's up, V" Toni said with a light smile. "Can I get two beers and a gin and tonic"
"Sure" Toni used her right hand to continue the light shake for Red's drink, she grabbed the neck of two beer bottles out of the little fridge under the bar, she sat them in front of herself and she smoothly made the gin and tonic.
She sat the shaker down to open the beers. She picked them up from the counter and put them on top of the bar before doing the same with the gin and tonic, "I'll put it on ya tab"
"Thanks Toni"
"Anytime, Ronnie" Toni rasped before going back to the girls drink, Toni then grabbed a glass and a cube of ice, putting it into the glass before double straining the drink.
She let the froth from the egg white rise to the top of the drink before she put a couple drops of the peychaud's bitters on top of the froth.
Using a toothpick she made a couple of hearts with the red colored bitters before placing it in front of the girl, "What is it?" asked the girl.
"Whiskey sour, the peychaud bitters won't make it taste any different, that's just for garnish" Toni said as she leant on the bar in front of the redhead, she looked up at Toni with a confused look.
"Oh, the red hearts. It's like a um, bitter thing? It has notes of candied cherry, clove, and orange. and it has more of an lighter and sweeter finish then the Angostura bitters, which is more of a deeper and savory thing, that goes in manhattans and old fashions. Things like that'' Toni rambled.
Once she looked up she saw the redhead still fully engaged in the conversation, Toni ducked her head down before clearing her throat.
"What's your name?" The girl asked, taking a sip of her drink. The drink was velvety from the egg white, just the right amount of sour from the lemon, not too sweet from the syrup and the whiskey was muted just enough.
"T-toni" She stuttered but played it off as a cough, "What's yours"
"Cheryl" She answered and took another sip from her glass, "It's quite nice, Toni. Thank you"
Toni crossed her arms over her chest and smiled. She liked her name coming out of Cheryl's mouth, "No problem. Lemme know if you need anything else" She said as she noticed more people coming up to the bar.
"Of course"
Toni walked down to where the group of people stopped. They told her what drinks they wanted and she quickly made them.
Most of them just wanted beers or a simple cocktail.
After Toni made the groups drinks they thanked her before going back to the makeshift dance floor.
Toni stood off at the end of the bar talking with one of the older serpents that was there.

Over the next hour or so Toni had made Cheryl about three more drinks. Going on the fourth.
"A blueberry cosmopolitan" Toni hummed as she slid it over the bar to Cheryl.
"Aye, Red. Maybe after that one go dance. Sweat out some of the booze y'know"
"Only if you'll come dance with me" Cheryl grinned.
Toni's tongue flicked across her lips, wetting them as a way to stop her own grin.
"I get off inna hour. I'll met ya out there"
Cheryl's grin didn't fade as she nodded and finished her drink.
Toni watched her walk away, the sway of her hips was something to watch.
She closed her eyes and shook her head with a slight chuckle.
She knew Sweet pea would get here about ten to fifteen minutes before his scheduled time, to chat with her.
She figured she could get him to come behind the bar and take over early. So she could get a few drinks in to loosen up before going to dance with Cheryl.
Toni did just that, once she noticed Sweet pea walk in she asked him.
He obviously said he would, since Toni has done it for him and with the promise of a night they both had off, hours of video games, pizza and cheap beer. Just to hang out.
Toni made two of the strongest drinks she knew how too, and drank them both. As she did so she talked to Sweet pea, telling him about the open tabs and about Cheryl.
He basically just hyped her up as she drank the two drinks. She couldn't help the smile on her face once she saw how excited he was for her.
"Tiny T finally gettin some action" He cheered.
"I get plenty of action, Sweets," Toni groaned.
The teasing didn't stop until she finished the drinks however. Toni shook her head as Sweet pea laughed to himself.
She cleaned out her glasses and put them back before drying off her hands and throwing the rag at Sweet pea.

The two laughed and did their handshake before Sweet pea walked down to someone to make their drink.
Toni grabbed a beer from the fridge, she opened it and took a sip before dripping a few bills into the register to cover it.
She let out a shaky breath before regaining that confidence she always had.
She walked over to the small group, once she reached Cheryl she grabbed her hand in her free one and spun her around.
The redhead let out a sound of surprise before her hands fell onto Toni's shoulders.
The two just looked at each other, Cheryl's breath was heavy from all the dancing she had been doing previously.
"Miss me?" Toni hummed gently, pressing the cold beer bottle into Cheryl's exposed side.
