He didn’t plan on breaking into his crushes house on Christmas Eve.
It just sorta happened.
Well… he actually had something very important to ask Wonwoo and it just couldn’t wait until next year when school started back.
So Soonyoung decided, with the help of his friends, that he should break into Wonwoo’s home!
It was an excellent idea!
For the most part anyways.

It all started a year ago when Soonyoung became friends with Wonwoo and slowly developed a crush on him.
Now the poor teenage boy is a love sick puppy (tiger) and his friends had just about enough of him moping around because Wonwoo isn’t his boyfriend.
“I think you should just break into his house tomorrow night and wait for him in his room.” Jeonghan shouted from the floor of Soonyoung’s room.
Seungkwan nodded, agreeing with the older male.
“Hmmm he did say he was going to be out with his family for a couple hours tomorrow…. Guys this is perfect! ”
He was beginning to get excited. Then his mood deflated and shoulders began dropping.
The other two boys in the room looked up at their friend who suddenly stopped squealing.
“Guys…. How am I going to break in? Don’t they have security cameras?Plus what would I even do or say when he comes in?”
Jeonghan sighed and sat down beside his friend on the bed.
“Nevermind the cameras, it’s not like you are stealing anything. Plus I did this for my boyfriends birthday and it worked so just do what I tell you yeah?”
Soonyoung hummed and decided to do just what his friend had told him.
“Okay Soonyoungie, Han can drive you to his house tomorrow and you text him tonight saying that he should leave his window open tomorrow, come up with anything that sounds logical, so he’ll do it and leave it open so we can push you up into his room!”
It was a fool proof plan. Okay who were they kidding, it was anything but fool proof, but since when has that stopped him from doing anything?

It was tomorrow, which would be today. Which is December 24.
Soonyoung had his tiger jacket on and was ready to take on the world.
(Take on Wonwoo….same thing.)
He was outside in the snow waiting for his friends to pull up so they could drive to Wonwoo’s house.
Then Jeonghan finally pulled up.
“Get in loser, we’re going shopping.”
Seungkwan rolled his eyes at the older.
“Hyung we aren’t going shopping though, you are so fucking stupid.”
Jeonghan slapped the other.
“Well damn I didn’t know what else to say, so I just said the original line. What was I gonna say? We’re going dickhunting?”
Soonyoung laughed and got into the back seat.
And so they drove off to probably embarrass themselves, or more accurately embarrass Soonyoung.

They finally made it to their targets home. It was now go time.
The three boys took out the ladder that Jeonghan had put in his trunk for the mission.
Then carried it to Wonwoo’s window, which was opened but not like how they imagined.
It was open, but it only had a small opening. Of course he wouldn’t have left his window wide open in winter. The three boys didn’t think through that part though.
“Well shit. Let me try and open it still.”
Soonyoung climbed up the ladder, stretching his hand to try and push it open a bit more.
He pulled the window a bit harder, and tugged it causing him to fall backwards from the ladder.
“SHIT, JEONGHAN CATCH HIM!”
His friends began running to him as he was falling into the snow.
THUD
Then he blacked out.

“Soonyoung cmon wake up!”
He blinked a couple of times before sitting up.
They were in Jeonghans car, that was still parked in front of Wonwoo’s house.
“I’m up, I’m up. What happened?”
Jeonghan laughed.
“You fucking fell off the ladder!” Seungkwan screamed while shaking Soonyoung’s shoulders.
Soonyoung blinked once more. He couldn’t believe that he had fallen. That was the most embarrassing shit that’s ever happened in his life.
He began thanking god in his head that Wonwoo wasn’t there to see him fall.
“Anyways let’s try again.”
And so they tried again.

Turns out the tug that had caused Soonyoung to fall opened up the window.
So all he had to do now was climb up and hide in Wonwoo’s room!
Easy Peasy Lemon Squeezy as the kindergartners would say.
Or whatever it was they’d say.
He didn’t know.

Soonyoung was now inside Wonwoo’s room and his friends told him to hide while they parked further down the street.
Everything was ready. Soonyoung even had a song ready to play for his big moment. Now all he had to do was wait.
And wait……
Annnnnnd wait………
Annnnnnnnnnnnnnnd-
The front door downstairs was opening!
Soonyoung began sweating, he was nervous. What if Wonwoo rejected him! He’d die on the spot or jump out the window, whichever one sounded better in the moment.
Oh God. Now the bedroom door was opening while Soonyoung was in the closet with his song open, ready to be played.
Soonyoung heard the bedroom door close and Wonwoo shuffling around his room.
It was officially go time.

The closet door slid open. Wonwoo looked up from his phone, looking around his room for the source of the sound.
Soonyoung came out of the closet with a nervous smile on his face and his phone playing ‘All I Want For Christmas You’ by Mariah Carey.
Wonwoo stood up. Staring at Soonyoung, face frozen with shock.
The song finally ended.
“Uhm hi.”
Wonwoo laughed.
“Hey. So you want to tell me how you got into my room and closet?”
Soonyoung scratched his head.
“Wait uh I have something to say first.”
Soonyoung walked closer to Wonwoo with a smile.
“All I want for Christmas is you Wonwoo… Are you willing to accept me as your gift too?”
The latter smiled and kissed Soonyoung on the cheek before saying “Yeah I accept.”
Soonyoung was now brighter than any star in the sky, his smile bigger than words could describe.
It was happiness.

“That was pretty embarrassing Soonie, with the all I want for Christmas song and that line.”
Wonwoo was teasing his now boyfriend.
Soonyoung rolled his eyes.
“Yeah Yeah whatever.”
“So are you going to tell me how you got into my room? Wait is this why you told me to leave my window open?”
Soonyoung looked around awkwardly.
“Well technically speaking I broke into your house, I got in through the window. Yeah. Jeonghan and Seungkwan are outside in the car right now. They helped. I think it was a brilliant plan.”
Wonwoo nodded and then stretched for his phone. Soonyoung scooted closer to him to see what he was doing. Wonwoo had opened his security camera app.
Soonyoung’s face paled.
Wonwoo’s face brightened.
Well shit Soonyoung’s whole escapade is on his boyfriend’s phone. Life gave him a boyfriend and took away his pride.
You win some, you lose some and Soonyoung got lucky that this Christmas he received everything he wanted.
Well not everything he really did want a car this year and the new AirPods, oh he also wanted the iPhone 13 pro max and……….
