Sukuna silently walked down the sidewalk only making small crunches in the soggy snow with a fast asleep Megumi on his back.
Soft breaths were felt against his neck, a sharp contrast to the bitter cold weather.
"Blessing, we're home." Sukuna fished for his keys and unlocked the door to their small townhouse. He stepped inside with he smaller boy still light on his back.
Sukuna earned a groan in response.
"Sweetheart, you gotta atleast take off your jacket and put on some pjs." Sukuna slipped Megumi onto the couch.
"Ku, I'm way too fucking tired for that." Megumi grunted, really getting his point across.
Sukuna sighed but then smiled.
"It's alright baby. You'll wake up with cold sweaty jeans but if you want to be fussy we can go to bed right now. Your call."
"Mhm." Megumi nodded. "Bed now..and carry me....please."
"Alright, c'mon." Sukuna sighed smittenly as he lifted his boyfriend up and began to walk to their room soon ending their journey by plopping him on their bed like a lazy cat. "You're lucky you're wearing a sweater. I swear to god I don't understand how you don't freeze up like a popsicle with how skin and bones you are." Sukuna jokingly ranted.
Ignoring him, Megumi messily gathered blankets and made a somewhat bird's nest looking pile and curled up in it.
"C'mere." Megumi whined.
"You sure you got room for me in your little contraption?" Sukuna chuckled.
Megumi groaned while rolling his eyes. "Christ. Of course I do. Now c'mere!" he commanded, yanking Sukuna by his sleeve and into the pile of blankets.
After Sukuna settled into the mess Megumi had made of their bed Megumi curled into his chest. Inhaling, Megumi asked, "Did you know? You smell really damn good."
"Oh do I? God I'd hope so, you picked it out. It's that seasonal bath & body stuff you get at that one place in the mall."
"Well I'm a fuckin' genius." Megumi said, patting himself on the back for a job well done and shamelessly getting another whiff. "It's bath & body works by the way, hun. For future reference."
"Ah, thanks doll. Indeed. Working so hard being a genius all day must be tiring, huh?" Sukuna cooed.
"Mhm..yeah." Megumi yawned. "I love you 'Kuna."
"I love you too my dearest Megumi." Sukuna ran his hands through his boyfriend's hair. "Goodnight, my love." he whispered into the smaller man's ear then softly pressed a kiss on top of his forehead.
"Goodnight." Megumi quietly replied before snuggling in even closer and eventually drifting off to sleep.
