No matter how much he loathes X, Vile had always been curious of the reploid. Maybe he admires X like Sigma does. Maybe he loves X like Zero does.
But those are human feelings, and it all felt the same for Vile. Love and hate. They're as passionate as the other.
And now, Vile looks down on his captive. X was broken and currently shutdown. It will take a while before he boots back up and the Mercenary got enough time to play with his prized catch.
What made X tick? How far will he go for his peace?
How far will his limitless potential go? And was it truly limitless?
Vile only had experience and was an expert on modifying himself with powerful weapons he picked up from the reploids he hunted, but never had he tried his skills on another reploid..
"You should thank me, y'know," Vile spoke to the darkness. He thought it was about time he help this one to discover his potential.
X was beautiful when he's unmoving and quiet. Vile revels at the beauty of how this reploid was made as he slowly tears him down. Piece by piece.
The helmet was the first thing to come off, there wasn't much he could change with X's programming-- heck, if Dr. Cain can't even figure it out, how can he?-- And he's got no idea what he's doing on X's head, but it's always nice to mess it up a little. You might end with some interesting results.
Next he moved onto X's back, removing his armor and rewiring a few circuits. The blue reploid would be ready to have any ammunition installed to his back however heavy it may be. Vile was amazed at how X's body easily accepted the change.
It was a delight to see how this thing was ready for war. Vile was enjoying this far too much, he never had this fun when he's modifying himself.
The chest area was next and he made sure a strong lazer would fit there. Ready to obliterate anyone in X's path.
It was beautiful.
Now, a war machine's got no need for hands. Vile was giddy as he cut off and removed X's arm and threw away his most hated X-buster (good riddance!) And thought he'll give him something better. Way better.
"What do you think of cannons, hm?" He asks, and there was only silence, "They're amazing creations and a personal favourite," and just like any of his modifications on the blue body, it reprogrammed easily and accepted.
How curious and ironic that X's creator wanted him for peace when he was clearly built for destruction. He's got enough firepower now to destroy cities alone.
Vile made final adjustments and it was all ready.
"Rise and shine, you big baby!"
This will be his most wonderful creation yet!
