“C’mon, my man! Let’s go!” Lyle smiled as he pulled Adam with him, the boy did not protest, he just went with the other's will.
Adam was familiar with the daily tasks, beating some monsters, collecting some crystals
Recently, that had changed, he didn't sigh every time he woke up, knowing that he had another long day ahead of him, Adam woke up with a strange good mood, that no one but Lyle seemed to identify. He didn't understand why, that was a time to be focused and careful, so why did he feel so... Comfortable there?
“My dear, are you listening to me?” The boy tried to wake him up from his thoughts, Adam nodded his head, a little embarrassed by his lack of attention. Lyle once again smiled, slowing down his walk to gaze lovingly at his partner.
“Shouldn’t we finish this task first?” Adam speaks, making the boy besides him pout.
“We have been doing this all day, my dearest! It's so boring, plus, we're finally reunited! I want to make sure I look at you as much as I can! Who knows when will be the last time we see each other…” Lyle slowly reaches for the marks on Adam's neck, hesitating before pulling back, the boy sighs, gently squeezing the other's hand, making Lyle a little surprised.
They stayed in silence while walking, hearing the sounds of distant monsters and their steps.
A short while later, Lyle started chattering again, whining about how boring that city was and talking about some memories of when they were roommates.
A small smile appeared at the corner of Adam's mouth, quickly turning his head so that the other could not notice.
He was... Happy.
Adam felt his cheeks softly warm up, god, he could hear this dumbass boy talk all day long.
Suddenly Lyle stops, a playful smile appearing on his face as he practically drags Adam a little further ahead.
The boy stops and points somewhere, with a big smile on his face. “Look, my dear! They’re like us!”
Adam was quick at looking in that direction, there were two monsters, code IV, more specifically, The Lovers.
Wait, hold on a second…
Lyle watched his partner assimilate the joke for a few seconds, without removing the silly smile from his face.
Adam looks back at him, and then at the monsters, and then at Lyle again
The lovers... it's because they- OH!
Adam chooses to not react to this, watching Lyle burst out laughing at his own joke.
He only had time to sigh before Lyle pushed him to dodge The Chariot's attack.
Adam was quick to recompose himself, already with hands on his greatsword, ready to strike back.

“God, that scared me for a second!” Lyle said, sitting on the part with grass.
He patted beside him while looking at the other boy, understanding what he meant, Adam sits there.
Lyle lay on the ground, pouting while looking at the sky.
The battle was rather quick, so no one was really harmed, but they sure were a little tired.
“Are you okay?” Adam asks, leaning closer to the boy.
Lyle stares at him a little bit, before pulling a dramatic act.
“Oh! My beloved Adam! Everything hurts… Now only… ugh, only the kiss of a big handsome genius absolute hot man could save me now.” He rolled on the ground.
Adam leaned closer to his face, laughing softly.
“So are you going to kiss yourself?” The boy watched amused the bright red face of the other.
“So this is the unknown side of the mysterious hero, huh?” Lyle manages to put himself together, leaning even closer to him.
Adam closes his eyes, comfortable with the close distance they were, Lyle could only smile while starting a soft kiss.
The boy leaned on his chest with a hand, while stroking his hair with the other.
Lyle breaks briefly from the kiss, feeling the other caressing him, he closes his eyes, enjoying it.
Adam stops when he feels the other's hand gently caressing his cheek, looking at him completely in love.
He smiles, feeling Lyle start a kiss again.
An abrupt sound made them quickly pull apart, ready to get up and react to any attack.
Timido just dropped a large resource box on the ground, completely red from head to toe.
She starts stuttering.
“S-So… S-”
The poor girl starts shaking so much that she couldn’t talk.
“S-S-SOR…! S-SORRY!!”
Timido quickly picks up the box from the ground and starts skating away.
...Only to trip over something and fall face first onto the ground.
“TIMIDO!”
They both scream at the same time as they run to help her.
