Unsteady

Summary:

Hey there everybody. So I’m updating a new story which won’t be about Larry. I in fact will be writing about 9-1-1 Lone Star and specifically about the relationship between Carlos and T.K. I really suggest you watch the show if you want to read this, because this is no conventional story. As every single fan of the show, I was too impatient to wait for the next episode. So, I started to daydream about what could have happened. The story is going to pick up from season 3 and everything will be the same until the end of episode 2. After that, I will write my own version of what could happen in the show. This is no prediction, it’s just how I imagined things could go just to keep the drama alive. I’m not going to lie, this will be very dramatic, so if you’re not into that, maybe you shouldn’t read this. Also, this story may contain violence, drug abuse, rape mentions so think before reading it, as I don’t want to trigger any of you. Remember this is a fan fiction about invented characters, so don’t take this too seriously. Thank you for reading this non-summary but I only have a piece of the story in mind so I couldn’t write a real one. Enjoy.

Chapter 1: Prologue

Notes:

(See the end of the chapter for notes.)

Chapter Text

It had been almost 8 months since the 126 had been burned down and the team dismantled. Every member of the former firehouse had been reassigned to new teams permanently. Mateo had been assigned to the 129, Paul and Judd to the 122 and Captain Vega, T.K. and Nancy were now working in the private sector. As for Marjan, she never gave up on the 126 whilst each of his team members seem to have forgotten about it. But she wouldn’t: and her determination would lead her to postpone the firehouse demolition and to finally find out why Captain Strand hadn’t been reinstated yet. Owen Strand now lived in the outskirts of Austin, away from the people, away from his job. The reason for all of that? He was too stubborn to apologize to Deputy Chief Tyson for punching him when he actually deserved it. He let his pride in the way of doing his job but he simply couldn’t give in. Especially when he wouldn’t really mean the apology. However, as Marjan reminded him when she confronted him about this whole ordeal, he cannot escape who he is, the universe won’t let him. Well, the universe had many plans for him and his team. As we all have learned to know, the universe can be a cold bitch sometimes. And it was just about to get chilly.

Notes:

The prologue and chapter 1 are mostly summarys of the beginning of season 3. I suggest you still read them though, just for the fun of it.
