I hurriedly fixed my coat and put on my face mask before facing the family of the patient that sadly died.
He was mentally unstable, suicidal at a young age. To sum it all up, he has a psychological disorder.
The past week of observations, I noticed something wrong about him—And that's what lead us today, lifeless and cold.
His white porcelain skin before became unbelievably whiter. His red lips that are slowly turning into blue, his way of taking his own life made him unrecognizable.
I silently bowed at the patient's family, whispering my condolences softly.
"I'm very sorry for your lost." I said.
The mother of the patient only nods, "Please take care of him. "
I simply nodded, waiting for them to finish their moment with the patient.
"We love you so much," I heard them whisper, trying their best not to cry more.
After a few minutes of whispering and saying their goodbye's, they finally made the decision to leave the room and hand everything over to me..
I nod in acknowledgment when the patient's mother held my hand and said thank you.
When they finally left, I quietly went to get the medication tray and settled it just beside the patient's face to easily get the alcohol and starts to wipe the dried blood on his face.
I glanced at the document near me and read his name, I whispered his name while squeezing the cotton to let out the alcohol contents into his ruined eyes.
I smiled, "My name is beautiful, isn't it?"
I laughed and sighed before getting the hair that is sticking out, covering his unrecognizable face.
"I told you to never bother me right? I was okay, but still you kept pushing those stupid medications and putting me in that white room." I closed my eyes, remembering what it's like being in there again. "I hate that room."
I leaned closer to him, "now look at you...Ugly and dead."
I rolled my eyes and smirked, "Look at me. I look pretty right? This coat suits me more than you. " I said while happy turning around thinking he's looking at me.
"If only you weren't annoying, I wouldn't do that to you...you were my crush though. Oh! My bad! I would still do it." I said and laughed.
"Haay." I sighed happily while walking towards the documents again.
I raised my eyebrows while reading the document, "Hydrochloric acid burns, 20 knife stab wounds..." I scoffed. "I knew this hospital is so dumb, it's 30! Don't they know how to count?!"
I annoyingly threw the document to the floor, "They suck at investigation. They didn't add my broken glass masterpiece! Look! It's all over your face! I literally drew on your skin!"
I bit my lips before leaning again to the patient's face, my index finger tracing the turning blue dry lips before giving it a peck. "Do you wanna live with me? I'll take care of you."
I decided to stand properly to fix my I.D. and smiled, "this is nice. "
I sighed, trying to calm myself when suddenly I heard a whispering voice. "They will know what you did. "
And another, "They know it's stolen. "
My smile widened more, "From you? " I leaned. "No."
"I'm now you, Dr. Choi, and you?" I fixed my hair before getting a knife and positioned it just diagonally from his face.
"You are now me, patient 0495. Yoon Jeonghan." I laughed before slicing his skin in half.
