‚Because im in love with you,you idiot‘ thought chris while looking at flo,his colleague and also his bestfriend.
They were just talking about a girl flo chose to go to the christmas party with.
She was also a teacher at the school,long blond hair,pretty,young,a girl.
And chris was pretty mad about it.
Its not the fact that he found a girl and he didn’t,its not like he looked for one,but he promised chris that they would go together.
„You’re just jealous bc i found a girl and u did not“ said flo , not really mad but also not with a smile.
„I am not! I didn’t even look for one cause we agreed to go together.together like in you & me? Forgot that?“ He asked,trying not to look in his brown eyes,bc if he would have done that , he didn’t think he would have found any more words.
„Im sorry chris but you know how long ive been single,im lonely“ he looked kinda sad now and chris almost felt sorry for him. „so why can’t you happy for me?“
Thats when the thought hit Chris. Hard and definitely not prepared.

Since when did he feel so? Yes they were best friends but nothing more or?
He tried to say something but he just opened & closed his mouth over and over again.
Flo just looked at me,more mad but also a little bit sad.
„I guess not“ he says,his voice calm and quiet.
He turns around and leaves.
Letting me stand here, alone and with not much left to have a breakdown.
He went home that night grabbing a bottle of tequila , trying to get the thoughts out of my head.
He tried to continue with the school day but it was awful.
2 hours later and i was regretting the fucking tequila.
It made him just think more about his fucking bestfriend who is fucking hot.
And that just scared the shit outta him.
Just in that moment he got a message from flo.
-hey! Im sorry for earlier,it was really bad of me , im sorry!
He sighed , why was he so nice?? He was the one who was mad.
-it’s okay. Its more like my fault.
-i can tell her i have another one i go to the party with?
Was it the alcohol who made him feel that way or why was it so fucking hot in here

After a sleepless night, chris went to school.
He only had 4hours today so it wasnt that awful,he wont even have to see flo cause its his free day.
„CHRISS“ shouts mr.Klotz after him just in the moment he wanted to enter the building.
He looks around and sees him running towards him.
When he arrived, trying to catch his breath he said: „i need u to put ur name on a paper!“
He was confused,why ?
„Why??“
„We’re doing secret santa for the christmas party“ klotz said way too happy bout it.
„Really?? Do i have to participate?“
„Yes theres no way around it“ they got distracted by the bell so he gave in , put my name on the paper and waved my goodbye.

Oh okay that makes sense he thinks.
But flo?? Really? Why now,after he realized a fact he wanted to forgot as fast as he realized it.
He kinda went to hyperventilating about what he should give him as a present.
Talk of the devil he got a message from flo.
-hey Chris! How are you? Do u want to do smth today?
Oh god pls no , not today

Oh god, he needed to deal with his feelings and a present
After he tried to chill a bit he went shopping.
The Christmas party was in 2 days and he really want this to be over.
When he arrived at the mall he made his way to the gym shop.
Flo loved sports so that would be a good idea.
But soon he relised that flos entire wardrobe was there.
He needs another idea.
When he went past a xcomics he remembered that flo talked about how much he loved marvel but was afraid that anyone would judge him.
So he went in. He wouldn’t judge him ofc.
He loved the fact that he was so interested in a fandom.
The employee must have realized he has no glue what he was looking for because he asked him : „u need help? U look kinda lost“
„Yeah actually i do need help. In looking for a secret Santa present for my friend“
„Oh i see what character does he like?“
Chris tried to remember and he thinks he heard flo talk al lot bout Deadpool .
„Deadpool i think“
„Good Taste haha“ he said and went on to the funko pop shelves.
After a few seconds he got a box in his hands.
„Here that’s perfect“
He handed me a deadpool funko with a christmas hat on it.
„He will love it thank u sm!!“
When he payed he thought about how exited he is to see his reaction.fuck.
„Hey chris!“
He heard , the same as in the morning.
Mr klotz was standing right in front of him
„Hey“he said
„Looking for a present i see?“
„Yeah already found one“ he said while showing his bag
„Oh nice i found something too! Wanna grab a drink?“
It was 8 pm and Chris was just in a need.
„sure“ he said
It wasnt just a drink it was a whole drinking event.
At 10:30 pm he was fully drunk,so was Klotz.
„You know..“ klotz began „..i really hope katharina likes this present“
„I hope that for u too man“
„What about u? Got a crush or lover?“
„Nah not really“ he said even tho he really wanted to talk with someone bout the whole flo story.
„Oh boy that’s sad, even flo found a girl, i never thought he would find a girlfriend“
Girlfriend??
„uhh girlfriend?“ he asked
„Yeah, they got together yesterday she told me“
Chris went on drinking from his vodka E not saying anything.
„I knew it“
Klotz screamed
„What?“ he asked in shock
„U like him?“ Fuck how did he know??

They didn’t say anything for like 5 mins
„Maybe“

He woke up 2 days later with the worst headache he ever had.
Today was the party. Today he wanted to confess his feelings.
He didn’t see flo since the fight and he really missed him.
At the bar last night he texted him if he has time to do smth ( he was drunk okay?)
But he answered with „ no sorry my girl is here“ god that made him so angry
With the best outfit he could find and the present in his hands he made his way to the party.
The first thing he saw was flo. In a suit . Looking incredibly handsome and beautiful
His girl standing next to him holding his Hand.

„Chris hey! Long time no see! Looking good“
Flo greeted him.
The compliment making him blush
„Hey true! U too:)“
They went in and Chris got distracted by klotz
Chris had to watch flo kiss and hug his girlfriend the whole night which led him at 6pm to the bottle of whine.
It was 10pm, he was pretty drunk, when he heard beate saying :“ SECRT SANTA NOW!!“
Soon after that everyone was in a circle giving their presents around.
Klotz actually got his kiss from katharina and god chris was so nervous.
Flo was standing next to him the whole time talking with him bout the presents the other got.
„Next one is chris!“
His heart jumped,everyone was watching him.
He turned to flo giving him his present.
„Here“ he said
„U got me ? Haha omg“ he said with a smile
„Yep“
His eyes watched flo unpack the present.
Waiting for a reaction.
Flo opened it just the way only he could see whats inside.
He looked like he wants to cry.
Shit what has he done? Flo hates it.
„Shit im sorry its bad i know“ he said running out of the building.
He just put his cig on his mouth, a habit he got when he was stressed
Now he wants to cry too.
Shit why was his present so bad.
He wanted to make this day good, he really tried
„Chris“ he heard flo
„Thanks good ur here,why did u run“
„Idk , i was embarrassed ig“
„Why??“ Flo looks with a shocked face
„the present. It was so bad and u hate it.“
He really wnats to cry now
„Why do u think that??“
„U looked like u want to cry, having a bestfriend who got u a funko pop, something for a kid.“ he cried now, shit
„What?? No! Chris stop crying“ he said while hugging him. And fuck he smelled so good.
„I liked the present !“ flo started again
„I love it tbh ! I was just so shocked that u remembered i liked marvel and even got my fav character“
„Yeha u told me once“
„And u remembered,chris u remembered“
„I guess“ he said , not knowing what the fuck was happening.
„You wanna know who i got?“
„Sure“
He handed him a present
„Uh me??“ he asked in shock.did flo get him?
„Sure dummie,Open it !!“
And he did.
It was a star wars lego set, the one he really wanted
„U did that for me??“
„yep“
„Thank u flo really“
„No prob“
They sat on the bench.
It was quiet but calm, chris didn’t know what to think.
But he wanted them to stay there forever.
They laughed over some jokes flo said and maybe its the alcohol again or the way how fucking pretty flo looked but he said „i love u u know“
„I do too,chris“ he said smiling
„No no u don’t understand im in love with u and u look fucking hot in that suit,fuck-„ he couldn’t speak anymore bc lips were pressed on his.
