boyfriend's older sister

Summary:

Jules finds out about her boyfriend's older sister.

Chapter 1: one

Chapter Text

"Jules, what do you like to do on your free time when my son is not bothering you?"

Jules chuckles as she looks at Ms. Bennett, then back at her boyfriend who gives her a small grin, "I do like drawing on my free time. I adore the process of drawing something that lives so freely in your mind, regardless of the factual issues it does to one person."

"Yes mom. You need to see some of her drawings. It's almost as if you're in a dream with angelic melodies playing in the background," her boyfriend comments smiling widely as Jules smiles slightly at him.

Ms. Bennett smiles widely at her son who looks to be completely in love with his girlfriend, "Jules, that's wonderful. You should show me a few drawings sometime in the future."

"I look forward to it, Ms. Bennett." Jules nods and grasps her boyfriend's hand who squeezes back in support, "Ms. Bennett, I have a question if you don't mind."

Ms. Bennett smiles, "Call me Leslie, and ask away."

Jules let's out a breath, "My father wants to meet you whenever you got the chance, if that's okay?"

"Oh, this is that serious?" Leslie teases causing Jules' cheeks to flush, "of course I'll meet him whenever we're all ready."

"It'll have to be after she is home," Gia says, looking at her phone texting someone. "Sis just texted me." A scoff is heard from across the table, Jules glances at her boyfriend who rolls his eyes.

"What'd she say, Gia?" Leslie asks raising an eyebrow as she suddenly loses all interest in Jules and her son.

Gia rolls her eyes with a smile as she reads the text her sister just sent her, "Rue is coming home tomorrow."

Leslie grins slightly at her youngest daughter, "tell her that we'll pick her up at the airport tomorrow. I can't wait to see my baby girl."

"She can stay the fuck away for all I care." Jules' boyfriend grunts as the news comprehends in his mind.

"Elliott! That's your sister," Leslie sternly says, "show her some respect boy."

Elliott rolls his eyes and pushes away from his seat, "The respect she showed us when she got up and left in the middle of the night to leave the fucking state? Yeah, I'll pass."

"She left to get herself help. For once in her life, she did something right with her life instead of sitting here and ruining her life." Leslie throws her arms up in frustration, "That's one thing you need to understand about life. They call you a good person for putting others before yourself, but what does it mean when you put yourself above for once? A shitty devil? Your sister did what was right for her."

"That completely disregards the fact she fucking left us high and dry for a year? Okay, mom. I see." Elliott rolls his eyes, "I'll be back."

Leslie sighs and turns towards Jules with a small apologetic smile on her face, "I'm so sorry Jules. We'll be back." With that, Leslie follows her son out of the living room.

Gia sighs and looks at Jules, waving it off. "Don't worry about this. Arguments are a normal thing in the Bennett household. Especially if it involves my sister."

Jules furrows her eyebrows as she watches the argument continue between Elliott and Leslie. She leans towards Gia and whispers, "you have a sister?"

Gia stares at her with a stone expression before asking, "he never told you about Rue?" When Jules shakes her head, Gia sighs loudly, "Rue is our older sister. Her and Elliott have had issues."

"Issues?" Jules questions, "What happened?"

Gia shrugs as if it's a normal thing, "Both of them used to be heavily dependent on drugs and would get high together until Rue got in some big heat and decided to leave to better herself."

Jules gulps as she gets flashbacks to her mom's addiction to alcohol, "Did she get help?"

Gia nods happily, "She did. She's been facetiming me at least once a week and she looks healthier every day. It just sucks that she had to get to her lowest for her to figure out she deserves to be on this planet."

Jules almost wants to cry at the statement Gia has made about her sister. It seems like this family has been through hell and back. God, Jules hopes she didn't get herself involved in family drama. That's the last thing she needs.

"What happened between Elliott and her?" Jules questions, not wanting to get more information but wanting to at the same time.

"Rue," Gia starts, "she wasn't the nicest when she went without drugs. She got violent badly. Once she found out Elliott snitched on them to mom, she went crazy and broke everything in this house. See that? Rue kicked the wall in after hitting Elliott." Gia points at the newly covered wall, but it's clear that there used to be a hole present.

Jules' breath hitches as Gia tells her that Rue used to be violent with her boyfriend. Maybe that's why Elliott has always been reserved. Jules' starts to connect the dots in her head as she figures out the sibling dynamic. Gia's the innocent one, Elliott is the reserved shy one, while Rue must be the outspoken one.

"You know," Gia starts, "I sometimes wish my sister would've stayed. I wouldn't have to deal with Elliott alone."

"What does that mean?" Jules asks raising an eyebrow confusedly as Elliott has always spoken very highly about Gia. Hearing that come from Gia is completely throwing her off her tracks.

Gia shrugs and looks down at her phone, probably texting her sister, "You'll see."

Jules quickly chugs down the glass full of water and stands up, "I do have to leave. My father texted me."

Gia nods, "I get it. Get home safe, okay?"

Jules nods and makes her way towards the area where she saw Elliott and Leslie go. She is trying to figure out the layout of the house, but there's quite a few doors. She finds the bathroom, as well as Gia's room (she thinks), then a closed door at the end of the hallway. For some reason, Jules finds herself utterly obsessed with the thought of what's behind that door. As Jules begins to make her way towards that door, she overhears Elliott and Leslie in one of the open-door rooms.

"Mom, I'm just terrified of the outcome of her coming home," Elliott tells Leslie. There's a moment of silence before Elliott continues, "I tried calling her so many times, but she ignores me mom."

"I know baby," Leslie replies, "but that's my daughter, that's your sister. She's ready to come home, and we're ready for her."

"Promise you won't take anything I say seriously if it gets down that road again," Elliott tells Leslie, "I don't need to become that person again."

There's a moment of silence before Leslie sighs, "Let's go back out there. We left Jules with Gia."

Jules' eyes widen as she hears Elliott and Leslie walk towards the doorway. She quickly ducks into the bathroom and turns on the sink, as if she's washing her hands. She gives it a few seconds before making her way out of the bathroom, glancing at the closed door towards the end of the hallway, and walks towards the dining room where she sees Elliott and Leslie have returned to their seats. She gives them a sad smile as she grabs her belongings.

"My father texted me and told me I had to leave," Jules says reaching out to give Leslie a handshake, which turns into a hug, "I apologize for cutting this short, Leslie."

Leslie waves it off with a smile, "Next time, we'll meet your father. No worries."

Elliott nods and stands up, "Let me walk you out." Jules bites her lip as her and Elliott walk out to her bike in silence, "Sorry."

"About what?" Jules knowingly asks her boyfriend sitting on her bike.

"My argument with my mom," Elliott starts with a sigh, "and not telling you I had a sister. I just don't want to scare you off."

"El, you wouldn't scare me off." Jules grabs his hand, "I like you so much. It would kill me if something were to happen."

Elliott glances at Jules' hand and clenches his jaw before smiling lightly at Jules, pulling her in for a kiss, "See you later?"

Jules nods, "Tomorrow? Maybe I can meet your sister?"

Elliott clenches his fists before nodding, "Yeah. Get home safe." And with that, Elliott walks back in his house, slamming the door leaving Jules outside by herself. The blonde shakes her head, putting her earbuds back in and biking away from the Bennett household. Jules continues to wonder what has had happened between Elliott and his sister. It's something traumatic obviously, but to the point where Elliott winces at the mention of Rue? It's not a good idea for Jules to hang with Elliott when his sister will be there in presence of him... and Jules.

Oh, how tomorrow will be very interesting.

"Fuck yeah," the girl moans out grasping the curls between her legs, "I'm close."

"I don't care. Hold it back," the girl between her legs mumbles before swiping over the girls' clit vigorously.

"Rue!" The girl exclaims causing Rue chuckle against the girl as she runs her tongue along the girls' folds before humming a tune of a song that the girl doesn't recognize but she doesn't care, Rue is making her feel so good.

Rue is about to tell the girl to cum before she hears her phone ringing on her desk behind her, causing the girl to groan and say, "you better not answer that."

"Shut the fuck up," Rue says getting up and grabbing her phone to see that she missed a call from her mother. Rue sighs and starts gather the girls' belongings and throwing it on the bed at the girl who looks at her like she's crazy, "What?"

"Aren't you going to finish me off?" The girl exclaims before searching the stone expression on Rue's face before scoffing and getting up putting on her clothes before stomping her way out of the studio apartment Rue owns.

Rue watches after the girl before shrugging and texting her mother back, telling her that she was packing for her trip to home. Rue starts blasting 80s music before her mother texts her back. Rue opens up the message and immediately rolls her eyes.

Momma <3: Elliott's not too happy.

Rue: idc that's on him i still want to see you and gia

Rue: he's not going to stop me from seeing my own family

Momma <3: Shush child. You already know. Can't wait to see you. I love you

Rue: love you too see you tomorrow

Rue locks her phone with a small smirk on her face as she flops back on the bed thinking of the next day. She's really going to see her family. She's going to see her mother, her sister, and her brother.

Tomorrow's going to be interesting.
