Star Wars Collection

Summary:

Each chapter is a different work in progress. They are all about time travel to the Old Republic. I enjoy adding new characters into stories. It helps me build a narrative and interactions between the characters. I would like to add that just because a character may be seen as dark in my stories or has negative attributes it does not mean that I dislike the character. My muse kept having new ideas for plot lines and therefore most of these stories start out the same but then change to a new story line. Some chapters are just a couple word pages long and others are about 40 pages long. Enjoy!

Chapter 1: Iliana- Teenager

Chapter Text

Chapter 1-Iliana Teenager

The sun on Coruscant had barely descended and it started to become night. Jedi Knights and Padawans were moving from the cafeteria to their quarters or evening studies. Master Yoda was seated in his quarters when he felt a disturbance in the Force. He had never experienced something similar and was not able to place it. He closed his eyes to be able to focus more on what he was feeling. It seemed as the force was compressed and then Master Yoda felt almost a big release as if a vacuum was filled. He quickly grabbed his gimer stick and made for the door.

“Master Yoda”, Master Windu approached him in the hallway looking troubled. Before the master was able to speak more Master Yoda replied “Felt it as well, I did. Disturbed the Force is. Find out we must where this disturbance is.”
“Yes Master”, answered Mace, “it feels close.”

As soon as Master Windu stated this, a sound like an explosion could be heard in one of the hallways closest to the front entrance of the temple. Mace swiftly bend down and let Master Yoda climb on his back. He ran quickly in the direction of the presumed explosion. Lightsaber at the ready.

Iliana groaned as she slowly regained her hearing. Stars were dancing in front of her eyes. She was laying on her back and she slowly turned on her stomach. She was panting with the effort and the pain it was causing her back. She looked up and frowned. Where was she? She tried to make out the place. Iliana could see a stone hallway and that she was lying in a bunch of gravel and stone pieces. Han and Chewbacca were on the ground next to her. She reached out with the Force and could tell that they were only unconscious but seemed without injury otherwise. She felt more than she saw Luke lying unconscious further behind Han. Iliana felt another person lay by Luke, but she did not know who he was just that he was strong in the force.

The Force kept nudging her like she should know him but before Iliana could concentrate more on what the Force was trying to tell her she felt a disturbance in the Force and at the last minute she raised her arm and dispatched the blaster bolts directed at her and the rest of the group into the wall next to her.
Leia was standing about 40 feet away from them looking as angry as ever. She screamed and was about to aim at them again. Iliana was determined that Leia would not succeed in attacking them but also knew that her strength was fading. She was injured and not at the top of her game.

At this point Master Yoda and Master Windu had arrived as well as many other Jedi alerted by the disturbance in the Force and Leia, realizing that she was outnumbered, took off.
“Let her go we will” Yoda stated firmly, “keep the temple save our main priority must be. Check on the structural integrity and for injured we must.”
“Yes Master” a chorus of Jedi Knights responded.

Mace turned and looked at the group in front of him. He saw three humanoid men unconscious on the floor. He could tell that two of them were quite strong in the Force. The third figure he now looked at closer was a Wookie of impressive height but also unconscious. The last person in the group was a teenager. He had seen earlier how she had diverted the blaster bolts into the wall. The dark blonde girl was trying to get shakily to her feet. Mace was about to walk over but one of the Temple Knights and his good friend Qui Gon Jinn beat him to it, placing his light saber back into his belt as he went closer to the teen.

Qui Gon folded his long body into a crouch next to the girl, who finally succeeded to get to her hands and knees. “Hello, little one”, he rumbled slowly to her not to spook her. Iliana pushed back onto her heels and raised her head slowly. She had felt the other Jedi come closer, but she did not feel any danger from them.
She had figured out by now that she was in the Jedi Temple of the Old Republic. How that was possible was not yet clear to her.

Qui Gon placed one of his hands to the youngling’s chin and raised her head up so that he could peer into her eyes. He was greeted with eyes that were a stormy blue. He held her gaze for a while and noted that she seemed lucid and clear headed, but she also seemed to be in a fair amount of pain as noted by the creases around her eyes.
“My name is Qui Gon Jinn, little one, what is yours?” Qui Gon asked her calmly.
“Iliana” was the short reply.

Qui Gon let go of her chin and grabbed her by the forearms slowly pulling her to her feet. Iliana tried to suppress the groan that came through her close pressed lips when she placed weight on her right leg.
Qui Gon kept a hold of her arm. Medi droids had arrived to collect the rest of the group of unconscious people.
Iliana tried to control her pain by releasing it into the Force. At the same time, she tried not to panic as it truly hit her where and when she was. She thought she succeeded until the to her unknown man was rolled past her on a gurney. Iliana gasped and flinched back slightly.
The unconscious man on the gurney was no other than Obi Wan Kenobi.

How was this possible though? She followed the gurney with her eyes. He looked to be in his late 30s and not the old man he was when she last saw him. He could also not be his current age of mid 30s if Master Qui Gon Jinn was still alive.

Something was very wrong here.

Qui Gon felt the fear pouring off of the child in waves and wrapped one of his arms around her shoulder, pulling her into his side, while pushing some soothing force energy into the child. He slowly walked her to the infirmary. While she did still seem to be in pain, she was able to walk with only a slight limp and she started to feel calmer in the Force.
Qui Gon deposited the child in an examination room and left her briefly with a med droid to speak with Mace and Master Yoda to see what the plan was.

“From our time these people are not” stated Master Yoda firmly and with conviction. “Watch them we must!”

Iliana had come to a similar conclusion as Master Yoda.

Luke had gotten more and more desperate to rescue his sister even though it seemed to Iliana that all hope was lost. Leia had fallen more and more to the Dark Side for most of the time that Iliana had known her. After spending 12 years with her father and then being on her own after his death she had grabbed on to the chance to have a new family with the Skywalker/Solo clan when she met them at age 13. For a while, things seemed to go well, she grew close to Han and Chewie. But it had been difficult from the beginning with the twins.

Luke was always on her to develop her connection with the Force. He couldn’t understand that she knew what she was capable of doing and that her connection with the Force was just different compared to his. He also seemed to think she should have the same control he had at 24 while she was still a child. Iliana tried to do her best, but she was simply not capable of doing what he asked which caused conflict. It frustrated her to no end that Luke was not able to tell her limitation and she started to internalize the feeling of being incompetent.

Her connection with Leia had almost immediately been bad. Leia belittled her at every opportunity, seemed jealous of her connection with Han, and her children. The children! Iliana suppressed her tears. This was not the time to cry. 2 months ago, Leia fell to the Dark Side and went after her own children. Iliana tried to protect them and fought with Leia until she was force-pushed of a balcony falling multiple stories ending up with a broken back. Leia murdered her children. The next 6 or so weeks were hazy for Iliana. She remembered waking up briefly in the infirmary before she was put into a bacta tank seeing Han’s grief-stricken face.

And then the next thing she knew was the feeling of pure terror. She couldn’t breathe she felt like she was drowning. This shouldn’t be possible she was in a bacta tank. She fought and fought for air and to get out and she had almost let herself fall into the Force. She was told later that Leia had sneaked into the infirmary and removed the O2 tubing from the O2 canister and placed them into the bacta tank itself. Iliana had been breathing in the bacta. Chewbacca had found her and pulled her out. They had almost lost her.

Iliana frowned in concentration so what did happen now to bring them here? She remembered that Luke went to meditate more and more during the last couple of weeks. Iliana remembered that she felt a lot of pressure in the force this evening. The next thing she knew was that she was in the past?

Iliana looked up and saw that the Jedi were still in a discussion. She slowly closed the door with the Force. The med droid had slowly scanned her and started to send a report. Iliana hastily ripped open his control panel and stopped the transmission. She looked over the readings. Like she suspected. One of the barely healed fractures in her back had broken again. She would be damned if she went into another bacta tank with Leia on the loose. She threw up a shield quickly to hide her thoughts and intention from the Force as she overrode the message and changed it to deep tissue bruising. She then put the droid back together and turned it on.

“Deep tissue bruising” droned out the droid. “Patient, wait to receive treatment.” He rolled toward the door probably to get a healer.
Iliana looked around quickly and snatched up a data pad. She had always been aided by the Force in her skill to hack any computer system and therefore this pad did not give her any trouble either.
She quickly looked up the current date and what was happening on Coruscant. This confirmed it she was in the past. She quickly scrolled to the personal files and stopped short.

She had looked up Obi Wan Kenobi to see how badly he was injured. She assumed that he had just been hit with the blast when they landed. Obi Wan was listed as deceased. Deceased as a 3-year-old! Who was this Obi Wan then? She could only assume that he had come with them to the past. But this was a younger version of Obi Wan? What did Luke do?

Iliana heard someone come and force-pushed the data pad back on the table after wiping her search quickly.

A padawan learner entered the room with some medical supplies. Iliana learned that she was learning to become a healer. She let the padawan learner place the bacta strips on her back. She was glad that a padawan healer was sent to fix her up. She was not sure if she would have been able to hide how much her back was injured if a fully trained healer would have taken care of her.

When the padawan asked if there was something, she could do for her, Iliana hesitated but then internally shrugged and asked her to bring her to Obi Wan. She had to nudge the padawan slightly with the Force to get what she wanted. She felt kind of bad about it but at the same time she was on her own with everyone else unconscious and she needed to know what was going on. She needed someone else to be on her side. It had not been lost on her that Qui Gon left her in the treatment room to have a meeting with Master Yoda and Master Windu. She had felt an instant connection with Qui Gon and hoped that when the truth would come out to who they were, that she still had his support. She felt that her life had been spiraling out of control since her father had passed into the Force and she wished for another parental figure who would support her unconditionally and would be able to help her become a successful adult.

Obi Wan was laying peaceful on his back on the sleep couch with his arms folded over his stomach. For all intense and purposes, he looked like he was sleeping. Iliana thanked the padawan learner and send her on her way with another force suggestion. She then looked at Obi Wan’s medical chart. It just stated “unconscious: reason unknown”. Well, she had an idea why he was unconscious. Iliana thought deeply for a moment but then figured this would be her best option. She closed the door and threw up a force field to keep others out as long as possible. She limped over to the bed and sat down next to Obi Wan. She placed one of her hands on his forehead and the other on his hands. She called out to the living force and pushed as much life into him as she could, willing him to wake up. She knew that she did not have a lot of time. Using the Force like this would tire her out and using that much force energy would be noticeable to others as well.
She could feel she was successful.

Obi Wan groaned internally he had a killer headache. He opened his eyes slowly and stared at stormy blue eyes that looked so familiar to him. “Hello there,” he rasped and looked at the owner of these eyes. The blue-eyed girl looked anxious at him and then at the door.
“Master Kenobi” she said quickly” how old do you think you are?”
“57, why is that relevant” he asked her, slowly trying to get his bearings and pushing himself up in a seated position.
“Kriffing…” the girl mumbled.

She looked again at the door feeling her force field slowly disappearing. She knew she would not have the strength to rebuilt it. “Listen to me” she stated quickly “we do not have a lot of time. Luke somehow manipulated the Force and got us into the past, you are not 57 years old, I would say maybe late 30s? But the worst thing is that this is not our past!”
Iliana felt her force field failing, stood quickly and fast as the door opened. She spun and automatically fell into an Ataru stance. Gosh how she missed her saber.

“Peace young one”, rumbled Qui Gon Jinn. He had felt her pull up the shields. Not only around this room but also earlier when she was still in the treatment room by herself. He had kept his force honed senses on her while he was speaking to Master Yoda and Master Windu. Therefore, it had not gone unnoticed to him that she had left her room. Qui Gon had been intrigued by the child. She was strong in the Force and definitely had had excellent training. He was surprised how easy he could calm her down and how her force signature almost felt like family.

Obi Wan reached up and pulled one of her arms that she had raised down. He looked at her strangely. She was definitely force sensitive and felt so familiar to him. She mentioned Luke but he did not think that this was Leia.
He looked up at Qui Gon. He had of course immediately recognized the voice of his old master and he felt sweet anguish in his chest but remembered also the child’s warning that this was not his past.
“Awake you are,” Yoda stated stepping into the room as well, “to the council chamber you two must come” Yoda firmly stated and turned around obviously expecting to be obeyed.

Mace walked in front of them, and two unknown Jedi Knights were walking to the right and left of Obi Wan and Iliana. Qui Gon was bringing up the rear. He was frowning at how hard the child was limping. They had gotten a report from the healers in regard to the status of the people they found in the hallway and Yoda suspected were from the future. While the child only had deep tissue bruising from the landing everyone else was unconscious until the child seemed to have woken up one of them.

Iliana tried hard to keep up. She knew she needed to give her body some rest, but it seemed that it was not the time yet. She grabbed onto one of Obi Wan’s wrists and called through the Force.
“Master”
Obi Wan stiffened.

This was all the response she needed. She was not sure if she had enough of a family bond with him to do this, but she needed to bring him up to speed so that he could decide what the best option for them was.
She showed him everything that had happened since he had passed into the Force. She carefully omitted her injury and her younger years. She did show him how she fought with Leia and what she suspected happened to bring them here.

She ended with an anxious plea of “I don’t know what to do” and send some of her anxiety towards Obi Wan through the bond.
Obi Wan’s brain reeled with the shock of information. He was shocked how easy this child could make a connection with him. He finally got her name now, Iliana.
He sent a soothing wave of the Force back and grabbed her hand to squeeze it in silent support. Like his old Master he was not lost to the fact that this child was injured and should probably not be walking around.

In the council chamber the esteemed Jedi council members sat in their seats while Obi Wan and Iliana were asked to step in the circle before them.
Qui Gon stayed close to them with a hand on his light saber. While he did not think that either one of them was dangerous it was his job to stand guard for the council.
“From our time you are not, how you got here and what your reason is we want to know”, Yoda said grimly.
Obi Wan looked at Iliana and opened up the force bond he had with her a little more “how do you know this is not the past?”

Iliana looked down “I hacked into the temple records, you died when you were three according to the data, and besides is Master Jinn acting like he knows you?”. She stated slightly sarcastic. Obi Wan frowned at her. That sass was uncalled for.
Obi Wan nodded and took a deep breath. He knew that he only had one chance to come up with a decision. He could tell them the truth and go from there or he could skid around the truth and collect some more information first. He reminded himself of the fact that this was not his past and not his council.

“Esteemed Masters”, he began with a bow. “My name is Obi Wan Kenobi, and this is my Padawan Iliana” Iliana stiffened slightly and send a wave of surprise and curiosity through their bond. “You are right we are not from this time. How we got here I cannot tell you. Luke, who is still unconscious, brought us here.”

Iliana tried to cover up her anxiety and pain. She was unsure how much longer she could hide from the council. She shifted her weight slightly onto her left leg to ease the pressure she was feeling in her back.
To her surprise she felt Qui Gon send her calming and soothing force energy which wrapped around her.
She gratefully leaned into the Force.
“Believe that this the whole story is, we do not. See we do that you and your padawan need rest. With Master Jinn you will go. Space in his sleeping quarters he has. Tomorrow continue this we will.” Yoda stated after a minute of silence.
Qui Gon, Obi Wan and Iliana bowed to the council. If Qui Gon was surprised by the council’s decision, he did not show it.

Once they were inside Qui Gon’s quarters one could tell that Obi Wan needed answers fast not carrying that he would show their cards immediately to Qui Gon. He understood that this was not their past, but he banked on the fact that this Qui Gon Jinn was similar to the one that he grew up with.

Obi Wan turned around quickly stepping towards Iliana “Who are you?”
“You haven’t figured that out yet?” Iliana snapped not backing down. She was tired and her back ached, no screamed at her. She looked at Qui Gon Jinn and then Obi Wan. Finally, she shrugged “it’s your call.”
“He was your Master, wasn’t he? He raised you? How come you feel so light in the Force. You shouldn’t.” Obi Wan stated with anguish. No way could someone who turned so dark and killed so many innocents be fit to raise a child.

“Oh, really and why is that?”, stated Iliana angrily crossing her arms over her chest. She felt hurt for her father’s sake but also wondered if she would ever have a relationship with the man who her father thought of as a brother.
“Because he fell, there is no way he could raise a child so bright in the Force.” Obi wan said with anguish.
“I’m flattered”, Iliana gave back sarcastically. Crossing her arms over her chest even more tightly.

“Padawans enough” Qui Gon called out firmly. He had watched them verbally spar for the last couple of minutes and he could feel the tension rise in the Force. This needed to end. They needed to calm down and have a conversation. He realized that for some to him unknown reason both of them trusted him since they broke their cover story. It was very clear that they hardly knew each other and were definitely not a Master-Padawan Team.
Two heads one ginger blond and one dark blond snapped up stating “yes Master” quickly.

“Sit” he stated pointing at the couch.
Iliana huffed and limped over to the couch. After a moment Obi Wan followed her and sat on the other end of the couch.

Qui Gon stood in front of them crossing his arms over his chest. “Your behavior is not becoming to any Jedi.” Obi Wan opened his mouth to argue but one look from Qui Gon had him silenced. Iliana had the grace to look reprimanded and lowered her eyes to her lap. Her temper had always been her weakness.

Qui Gon hit the nail on the head right away and stated bluntly. “This is not your past. You may have fooled the council for now but I knew of a boy named Obi Wan Kenobi. He showed a lot of promise in the unifying force, and he died young. I considered to take him as my Padawan.” Qui Gon looked pointedly at the two of them.
Obi Wan looked up in anguish but clearly did not want to say anything.

Iliana cracked first “Fine” she said glaring at Obi Wan. “Yes, this is not our past. In our past Obi Wan was your Padawan. And my father was his. I have twin siblings, Luke and Leia. Leia went dark and Luke thought bringing us back in the past could fix her. I disagreed. I know what someone who has fallen to the Dark Side feels like and there is no coming back. Also, somewhere along the way Luke messed up since this is not our past. And he somehow merged Obi Wan with his memories from before he died with his younger body.” She finished.

Qui Gon looked thoughtful for a moment and then nodded coming to a decision. “This explained why I felt a bond between you two and me and between the two of you”
Obi Wan looked startled he did not think that this version of his Master could feel the bond. He had to admit he did not feel as much anguish coming from the empty void as he used to.
“Obi Wan”, he stated “I am assuming you are familiar with these quarters?” Obi Wan nodded still stunned at what had happened. He had not felt that rebuked in years.

“Go get a blanket and make some tea please” Qui Gon said softly looking pointedly at Iliana who looked ready to pass out. Obi Wan understood and nodded swiftly.
Qui Gon traded places with him but chose to sit closer to Iliana. He let his hands hover over the child’s back and head trying to figure out where the injury was. Iliana was tired she knew what Qui Gon was doing but she didn’t have the energy anymore to fight him off.

“I figured you didn’t just look up temple data”, Qui Gon said, at this Iliana did look up sharply and Obi Wan paused with the tea pot in hand. “I could feel it when you two were talking with each other, but I couldn’t hear anything until the exchange of information in the council chamber.” Qui Gon explained further. Qui Gon had found the source of the child’s pain. While he did not know the extend yet it was clear that it was not simply a bruised back.
Qui Gon grabbed the small child under her arms and pulled her into his lap. She struggled slightly but Qui Gon told her firmly “be still”. He raised her tunic/shirt and started to peel the bacta stripes of her back. After they were peeled off, he looked at the massive amount of bruising on her back and slowly laid his hand on top of it. He applied some slight pressure while he probed the injury with the Force. Iliana gasped in pain and tried to twist away but was hindered by Qui Gon’s other arm around her stomach.

Qui Gon quickly found the broken vertebra and did not miss the old fractures on the surrounding bones that had barely healed.
“You need a bacta tank”, he stated and started to stand up while lifting her.
“NO!”, Iliana exclaimed and he could feel her terror slam through the bond.

“Master”, Obi Wan stated, “wait”. He walked over to them and placed his hand on Iliana’s forehead commanding “show me”. The pictures started to pour in, and he could see how Leia was aggressively attacking her and how hard Iliana fought in protecting the children. He then saw how she was pushed of the balcony, landed in the bacta tank, and almost drowned in the tank due to Leia cutting of her oxygen supply.
Obi Wan pulled his hand back as if he was burned. “Master”, he stated, “she cannot go in a tank. Her sister tried to drown her in one. She is terrified.”

Iliana had started to hyperventilate and did not see the exchange that took place between Obi Wan and Qui Gon. She was stuck in her memory of almost drowning in bacta.
Qui Gon sat back down and pulled Iliana against his chest, “breathe child” he stated kindly but firmly. Obi Wan remembered that his Qui Gon would do the same for him when he was young and prone to panic attacks.
Iliana took a shaky breath, she felt Qui Gon holding her wrapping the living force around her to calm and soothe her.

“Again,” he stated. Once Iliana calmed down, she realized that at some point they wrapped a blanket around her and Obi Wan had placed the tea on the table. She was now sitting sideways on Qui Gon’s lap. He had a hand resting on her lower back pouring healing force energy into her injury. She rested her head against Qui Gon’s chest. She was so tired. Qui Gon rubbed her head gently and placed a cup of tea in her hand guiding it to her mouth.
Iliana was half asleep when she felt that Qui Gon placed her on a bed. He turned her onto her stomach and laid one if his hands on her back where her injury was. She was still awake enough for him to guide her into a healing trance. The last thing she felt before sleep was the gentle healing waves of the Force surrounding her and Qui Gon covering her with a blanket and stroking her hair out of her face.

[The end for now]

Plot bunny 1:

Boom another explosion was heard. Iliana set up quickly from her sleep couch and stared at the wall while anxiously muttering only one word “Daddy”.

“Iliana!” Qui Gon called out. He was trying to hold her back. He had finally caught up with her when she had run into the door of the infirmary. “No, let me go, let me go”. She kicked and hit at him. She continued to struggle and tried to get out of his arms. Didn’t he understand? She knew this was her beloved father who was ripped so harshly from her life. Qui Gon lost his patience as she was clearly beyond any reason. He gave her a swift smack on her bottom and set her on the ground holding on to her hands.

“Breathe Padawan”, he stated firmly. He waited until she took a ragged sounding breath staring at him shocked. “Again”, Qui Gon stated firmly. “Good,” he stated when she calmed down. He pulled her into an unused treatment room. He sat down in one of the chairs and pulled her in front of him, so she was at eye level to him.
“I understand that it felt like your father but think about it. This may not be your father. This may be someone from another universe.” Qui Gon started explaining.
“You don’t know… “Iliana protested
“I agree, I do not know that,” stated Qui Gon “but you also don’t know if he is. You cannot go rushing in there. Think child mine.”

Iliana calmed down and knew he was right. She started to become upset with herself. She let emotions rule her thinking and could have potential put herself into danger.
She took another shaky breath and tears spilled out of her eyes. Qui Gon pulled her in a tight hug and held on to her until she regained control.
He took her by the hand and together they went to the room that housed the person who may be her father. Obi Wan met them at the door. He had a feeling that this man in the room was indeed his Anakin. While he was not as certain as Iliana was, he was hopeful.

She looked at the young figure. This was definitely her father, but it was the same as with Obi Wan he looked a lot younger. He was maybe also in his late 30s just like Obi Wan. She had no idea if he was really that age or if it was the same as with Obi Wan, meaning he had all his memories up to his death. She hoped the later. She didn’t know how she could cope with a father who could not remember her.
Qui Gon pushed her closer to the sleep couch and indicated that she should wake him up while they kept an eye on her.

Iliana placed on of her hands on her father’s forehead and grabbed for his hands with her other hand. His hands! She had never been able to hold her father’s hands before. She called out to the Living Force and poured it into him. It was a lot easier for her to wake him compared to Obi Wan. Anakin slowly started to wake and looked into the stormy blue eyes belonging to Iliana. “My little ray of light”, he mumbled while projecting love for his child. Iliana sobbed “daddy” and threw herself on top of him. Anakin slowly raised his arms and held his child tightly to his chest.

Obi Wan was shocked. This was his Padawan. There was no darkness surrounding him and he could feel the love he had for his child.
Anakin pushed Iliana a little away from him so he could look at her closely. It seemed as they were communicating silently. Which was true they were using their bond to pass information back and forth. This tight bond had always been important especially since they had to hide so much from Lord Sidious.

“Masters”, Anakin said bowing his head respectfully after tearing his gaze from his child acknowledging Obi Wan and Qui Gon who had watched silently as father and child got reacquainted with each other.

Plot bunny 2:

“You left me,” Iliana screamed at Anakin. She was working herself up into a state. Anakin threw one of the training blades to her set at the lowest setting. “Anakin, I don’t think that is a good idea,” stated Obi Wan.

“Master, your concern is appreciated and noted, but please don’t tell me how to parent the child that I actually was able to raise by myself for 12 years.” Anakin gave back. He knew that Iliana did not deal with feelings well while meditating which was probably what Obi Wan would have suggested. He knew his child best. While anger can lead to the Dark Side it also needs to be released. She had always released anger, sadness, and frustration best by doing something physical.

He sparred with her for a couple of minutes until he was able to swipe her feet from under her making her fall on her bottom holding his light saber pointed at her neck. She stared defiantly back at him. “Get up. Again!” he stated firmly. This continued on for over and hour. Iliana calmed the longer they were at it and Obi Wan watched the child with surprise. She was able to release all this pend up frustration, angst, and the feelings of abandonment into the Force. He noted that Anakin talked with her for a moment every time he had put her back on the floor. Sometimes it was a short command such as “up” or “again”, but sometimes it was longer. Obi Wan noted that he would always look intensely at his child first before saying something.

Anakin stated” I did not leave you on purpose I never wanted to leave you.” Iliana took a shaky breath. “Again little one,” Anakin stated. Iliana got shakily to her feet. She felt at peace. She knew they still had to work out a lot, but the anger had left her. She turned off the training saber and stated quietly, “I’m done Master.” Anakin pulled her into a quick hug and told her to go shower. Iliana bowed quickly and handed him the training saber.

Anakin watched his child go to the showers feeling proud. She had grown so much during the time that he had missed. She was 15 now. She was still his little one though.

Obi Wan stopped next to him “Anakin, I apologize. I was out of line. I should not have tried to interfere.” \
“Apology accepted.” Anakin smiled sideways at Obi Wan.
“You know she idolizes you. If I would have had the option, I would have made you her holdfather.” Obi Wan stared speechless at Anakin.

“I feel honored,” he finally stated. “She is a special child.”
“That she is,” stated Anakin.
