Normally you're the one that's hunted, it just makes sense being so small and fragile, while they.. are not. At a daunting nine feet with acrobatic abilities that would make an Olympian shake with envy, they have always been the hunters while you were their trembling little lamb always two steps behind. Sun is a little more gentle about it; easily swayed by your pleas; but Moon is; as to be expected of a night lurker; the full package.
However, tonight will be different, tonight, they will run from you despite that they laughed at the idea of you scaring them. You'll be somewhat role-playing at the same time, you warned them, as a different member of staff, which should have been their first clue of what you had planned for them, establishing a safe word in advance just in case it was too much for them to handle. "Galaxy" was the choice, a word none of you used often, and distinct enough not to be missed in the heat of the moment, should anything go awry.
The day rolls along just as any other would, Sun caring for the children while you work quietly behind the desk on your outfit for the evening, ducking out during nap-time to grab a few things from staff lock-up to aid in your hunt for later, Moon attempts to pry into what you're doing, anything for a hint at how you plan to make them run like prey. A playful threat to go home at lock up instead of staying the night is enough to ward him off, hissing softly, retreating into the nap den while red eyes peer out of the darkness full of suspicion and curiosity.
You chuckle low with a hint of evil in your tone, glancing in his direction long enough to see the colours glitch like static from the searing red to frigid blue like a cold chill down had run down his spine, shaking it away with a growl while retreating into the shadows. You were setting the foundation for the night's hunt, using Moon's own behaviour against him to further amplify the feeling of danger and helplessness, much to your delight as he was seemingly oblivious to your tactics.
Closing time rolls around after a fairly uneventful day; save for Moon's little moment during nap-time; Sun busying himself with clean up while you quietly slip away to begin preparing your plans once the closing announcements rang out over the PA system. Sun's ever joyful self never quite took you seriously that morning, while Moon who had originally scoffed at you was now quietly fretting away to himself, withholding his emotions and thoughts from Sun to avoid panicking him over the situation. What were you doing, why were you doing it, HOW would you do it? the hiss came quietly into their shared memory space; "They could never scare us, hunt us, control us!"; Sun paused, preparing to ask what Moon was talking about as the PA boomed out the closing message, the doors were locked for the night, but you were nowhere to be seen, normally behind the desk with your feet propped up, there was nothing but empty space. "Y..Y/N?" Sun questioned, worried you'd decided to go home instead, inching closer to the forbidden security desk hoping to peer over to see if you were hiding under it or nearby.
While Sun edged cautiously closer to the desk, you were watching quietly from the drop-off point, leaning against the wall clad in a modified Parts and Services uniform, lightly torn and dirtied in places for that extra maintenance flair of authenticity which you knew would drive home your power in the situation about to unfold. Closer and closer Sun crept to the desk, gingerly placing trembling fingers on the edge of the desk in order to lean over for a peak. *CLICK* He freezes, the sound normally associated with lights out, only brought dimmed lighting, followed soon after by silence and the sound of their gears and wiring shifting, crackling, as their duality of Eclipse manifested. "Oh. No.." Eclipse whispered in their merged voices.
"Oh, yesss" you whispered to them softly from your vantage point, Eclipse whirling on their heels to look for you, eyes flitting about everywhere, thumbing nervously at the sudden turn of events with a wash of regret for having not taken you seriously. Unbeknownst to them, you'd made some modifications to the lights so that they were controlled via a discreet remote around your neck disguised as a USB drive, as such driving up their feeling of terror as their attempts to punch the lights in either direction turned up fruitless.
"Y/N..? P-plEASE ?" their voice box glitched out, slowly moving towards their tower, anything to move away from the sudden pressure bearing down around all around them, however when they called for their cable, something else came to them instead.
With a slow whirr the normally silent wire moved towards them, accompanied by dark, velvety laughter. "OH Dear.. Oh dear... it seems you've acquired a new glitch, my little supernova, what good fortune--" the luminosity of their shared eyes amplified as their pupils dilated at the sight you descending towards them on their wire, secured by the safety harness strapped provocatively over your uniform. Relief began to creep up in them as you spoke, quickly receding into horror as you growled out the rest of you sentence, the parts and service logo illuminated by light reactive stitching. "--that parts and services is here. to. help." The words, coupled with the sinister grin painting your features sent a yelp out of Eclipse, staggering backwards as your feet met the soft mats on the daycare floor. *WHUMP* Down they went from over-correcting their posture as you alighted, freeing yourself of the cable which you tossed aside carefree, producing a small tool kit from your belt.
"Now sit still for me, sweet Supernova, I'll fix you so well they'll never need to see you again.."
LED's dimmed with the panicked contraction of their apertures, snapping to their feet like a spring breaking tension, scrambling briefly on all fours with a howl of fright as they broke for the play structure, whipping their head over their shoulder to the sight of you slowly following them. No running, not even a brisk jog, calm, quiet, and calculating, twirling a wrench from your belt around your fingers while humming softly. Their fans stilled to a near halt, their core tanking deep towards frigid temperatures before whirring sharply back to life as their attention snapped back to finding an escape route, all the while you gained on their position using their confusion and panic to your advantage.
"It'll all be over soon.. Remember you can end this at any time.." you purred to them softly, wicked intent hanging on your breath like an icy crackle. They knew they could, but.. they couldn't, no.. they wouldn't. This sensation, this terror, this thrill... It drove them further, excitement brewing throughout them alongside the panic, melding past the point of distinguishing one from the other as they slipped through a gap in the structure, crawling frantically towards their favourite hiding space, trying desperately to quiet their now roaring fans. How cute..
Eclipse panted, despite a lack of lungs the sheer force of energy exerting from their chest was enough to cause their chest-plates to move with their frantic emotions, causing staticky glitches throughout their body which they struggled to contain, slowly betraying their location. A soft creak from within the structure sent their soft rays retracting into their faceplate, eyes dimming to the softest glow while their hands desperately tried to shield the light remaining to avoid detection in their little haven. With only two points of entry or exit, they had the option of escape, but one wrong turn could spell disaster, especially with the two of them fighting for control of direction and tactic, it would be easy to mistake one turn for another, wouldn't it?
Lost in their thoughts, it was easy for you to close the gap, after all, fresh meat never knew too many tricks to escape their predator, it always took a few close calls to learn some hard lessons and this would be one of them. Their fans were louder than they realised while they fretted to each other internally, soon ripped back into reality by the soft humming gently drifting in around them, but nothing else as they froze, processors stilling with the gradual halt of their fans, minds blank.
A growl pierced the humming, sending a strike of electricity throughout their body "There you are.." your hand snaked out of the shadows, grabbing hold on their massive ball jointed ankle, eliciting a shriek and jets of steam as they thrashed free and hurled themselves into their escape route, struggling to squeeze through the narrow tunnels and turns. Thick howling laughter echoed behind them, the thunder of your body pursuing them through the structure at close range now deafening to them. "Sweet Novaaa, Little Novaaaa, come out and plaaaay with meeee. We mussst fix you." their nickname slowed them, distracted them from their course, but the threats dripping off the end of your statement spurred them forward in their flight, whimpering out scratchy pleas of mercy, constantly flicking their head over their shoulder to check for you until *WHAM*. A wrong turn. A WRONG TURN? Their faceplate slammed into a plush wall, almost like an accordion as the rest of their massive frame followed suit. Silence... Silence came down like a lead weight, no humming, no thunder, not a sound as they trembled, waiting for any hint of your location to give them a chance to bolt out of their predicament. Apertures fluctuating wildly, colours hazing together with the constant internal struggle brewing between them, fighting both each other and their body which yearned for capture, and for sweet release.
A soft clatter rang out further down the structure, you must have taken a wrong turn as well, such luck, yes yes, so lucky they whispered to themselves, slowly rising to their knees to plan their escape, peering out of the side of their small prison looking for any sign of you.
Nothing. That was a good as anything, gathering their feet underneath to creep forward only to be struck square in the chest while balanced precariously at their tipping point, "Naughty naughty..." you snarled as your pounce struck them, rolling them back to slam into the same wall they had crashed into before. Stealing a page straight out of Moon's book, sending a tumultuous wail of panic out of them as you pinned their faceplate to the wall, legs quick to wrap around them, firmly straddling their waist. "Supernova..." your eyes locking with theirs, demanding their focus, drinking in their fear and excitement. "It's time to tear you apart and put you together again.." you growled, pinning them down with a firm grip on their waistband, eyes never breaking contact. "Starburst... May I?" Eclipse shuddered softly, apertures fully dilated with staticky hearts blooming up in their LEDs, nodding softly with a whimper. "Goooood boys. Let us reward you for being so well behaved for me..."
