empires smp season 1 AUs:
Godkiller au: scott receives the rune blade as normal but instead of sacrificing himself to kill xornoth, he decides to end the cycle and kill a couple gods. Aeor and Exor never saw this coming. Serves them right for dragging innocent children into their battles. (features flower husbands, jonoth, uncorrupted xornoth)
Wanderer au: Jimmy, after wandering away from his empire at the end of season one, travels for miles with only his pets for company. Something compels him to never stray far from water so he only travels with at least one foot in water, sticking to seasides and rivers, occasionally swimming to rest his feet. However, as he's crossing a river through a plain, norman runs off and jimmy leaves the water to get him back. Norman however, has picked up a familiar trail of magic and is determined to follow it. As Jimmy chases after him, days go by (cats are especially attuned to magic so normal picked up on it from miles away) and the curse the seablings share to forget starts to kick in as he spends time away from water without his codfather head. Just as norman finally stops and jimmy starts to pass out as the curse takes its final step, someone swoops down from above. It's Fwip, having spotted a figure from his and Gem's floating island home. Fwip, knowing Jimmy, picks him up and dumps him in a pond/drinking hole gem made for the dragons. As the water soaks into jimmy's skin, nobody notices how his scales stop receding and take up his skin again. Jimmy wakes up and sees fwip, excited to see his friend again, even more happy to see that gem is with him too. However, the roseblings (well fWip really), knowing that Jimmy is still alive, want to figure out what happened to their other friends. (fix it fic, with a metric truckload of angst. And also Sausage's power being helpful. ideas for fixing things include that pearl comes back when her empire is brought back to life, sausage retrives scott and uncorrupted xornoth from the afterlife (but hes doing this when roseblings and jimmy return so they think hes dead), joel, pix and katherine have just been mouring their "dead" friends when suddenly three of them show up completely alive. Maybe when theres 11 of them + good xornoth, they somehow end up moving to the land of the gnomes with Shrub too. these bits in brackets are just ideas tho, this au could be complete angst)
Codgod au: Jimmy, as underwhelming as he seems, is actually a powerful god, lizzie too. While lizzie had already awakened her powers as the god of the ocean, jimmy's godship is still dormant. Little does anyone know, jimmy is part of an important prophecy as the god of cycles, and once awakened, is the only being able to stop Exor's cruel cycle with Aeor for good. Exor will do anything to stop that, so, knowing the importance of the codfather head to jimmy's true self, creates the cod council to trick jimmy into giving it up. (i always thought the cod council was shady, giving jimmy the head back after he and fwip accidentally destroy all the empires, blame it on the evil god wanting to keep being evil)
