Fulgur awoke to a loud sound, it kind of sounded like someone was choking. He opened his eyes (sorry, his IIS) only to discover Uki, sitting up, hunched over, coughing. "Uki? Are you okay?" he asked, concerned for his lover's health, Uki finally managed to stop coughing, "I'm- I'm fine, Fuu-Chan, don't worry about me. Go back to sleep, I'm- I'll just take a shower", and with that he slowly got up, almost falling over, but managing to catch himself. "Are you-", "I'm fine, Fuu-Chan, just a little bit dizzy, it's nothing", his voice sounded raspy and strained, but before Fulgur could say anything, Uki had already left the room.
Thinking about what just happened, trying to process it, Fulgur was worried, Uki was obviously sick, quite sick at that, why wouldn't he tell him? 'If he won't admit it, I'll just have to look after him' he thought. As he waited for Uki to come back, he made the bed, folding back one side so that Uki could slip in, he also made a hot chocolate, taking care in making sure that it wasn't too hot, and brought it back to their room. He placed the drink on the bedside table. He was looking out the window, peacefully watching the silent rain fall, upon Uki's arrival he turned around and took in the sight. Uki was leaning on the dresser, trying to find some clothes, his towel wrapped loosely around his waist, he looked tired, he was as pale as snow.
Fulgur walked over to the closet and pulled out a black hoodie, turning to Uki, he said "here, Uki, wear this", Uki turned around, "I can't wear only a hoodie out in public, Fuu-Chan"suddenly Uki was coughing again. Fulgur reached out and patted him on the back," Good thing you aren't going anywhere today then". Uki was about to protest when Fulgur said, "Uki, there's nowhere you are supposed to be today, you have no stream scheduled, you are clearly sick, just rest for today". Uki sighed and gave in, "Fine, okay", "Now, put on the hoodie, unless you don't want to, obviously, and hop into bed, I made you hot chocolate"
As Uki put on the hoodie and hopped into bed, Fulgur closed the curtains. Now that Uki had been found out, there was no point in pretending he wasn't sick anymore, he took a sip of hot chocolate and then he laid down, "Are you hungry, do no need Ibuprofen, is there anything you need?" Fulgur said, feeling slightly less worried now that Uki was under his care. "some Ibuprofen would be good, my head is killing me" he replied, Fulgur immediately walked to the kitchen and found the Ibuprofen. "Here you go, 2 Ibuprofen" he said, walking back into the room, he walked over to Uki and gave him the small pills and supervised him as he took them just in case. Uki swalled the pills and burst into a coughing fit, Fulgur patted his back as he had done earlier, and slowly Uki stopped coughing. "is there anything, anything else at all, that you need?", "Mm.." Uki folded back the blanket next to him, "Stay here, I wanna cuddle..".
Fulgur walked over and slipped into bad next to Uki, and Uki put his head on his chest, placed his arm over his torso, and intertwined their legs. As they laid there, Fulgur started running his metal hand through Uki''s soft, purple hair, he felt Uki's breathing slow as he fell asleep, he found something so soothing about this moment, he glanced down at Uki but was so captivated by him that he didn't look away. Uki's skin was so smooth and as pale as snow, his hair was so soft and silky, like velvet. As he listened to Uki's slow breathing, he slowly fell asleep, resting his head on Uki's and wrapping his arms around him.
The boys slept for hours, and even after they woke up, they didn't want to move, they were so comfortable in each others arms, they could never get tired of this feeling. The indescribable feeling of being in your lovers arms, listening to the quiet pitter-patter of the rain outside, the sunlight shining through the curtains, just enough that it would make Uki's face look like it was glowing. Out of nowhere, Fulgur started singing Hey The Delilah by The Plain White T's, he changed Delilah to Uki and made it work, Uki didn't even try to hide the beautiful, soft smile he had upon hearing this.
"A thousand miles seems pretty far but we've got planes, and trains, and cars, I'd walk to you if I had no other way" Uki didn't dare doubt that that line was truly something his Fuu Fuu-Chan would do. Upon finishing the song, Fulgur placed a gentle kiss on Uki's forehead, "I love you, Fuu Fuu-Chan" he said, his voice not quite as raspy and strained as it was that morning, this made Fulgur feel at ease, "I love you, too, Uki"
They slept through the rest of the day and through the night with Uki's head on Fulgur's chest, hand over his torso, and legs intertwined, the feeling indescribable.
