Summary:

Who could you possibly be married to? Definitely not the insufferable Gojo, right? The students want an answer to so they go on a search for it.

Notes:

I wanted to write something cute and funny so I made this whole fanfic up, here it is ig

Work Text:

“Alright you guys, I think you can manage the rest of your time now,” you announced as you closed the book in your hand, putting it back on your desk.

You were assigned to teach Gojo’s students about basic jujutsu history since the man was “too busy” to do it himself, also since he’s been given more missions recently. You internally scolded the man but you loved him too much to be mad at him.

“Thank you for the lesson, it was interesting!” The cheery Itadori chirped, pulling the straps of his bag over his shoulders.

You smiled, “Of course, Yuji.”

Erasing the chalk writing off the board on the wall, Nobara’s voice came in full swing,

“When did you have that ring on your hand?”

“Hm, since forever. I’ve always had my wedding ring on,” you responded to the girl’s question, focusing your gaze on her.

“Who’re you married to, teach?!”

“Oi, don’t get nosy with her personal life,” Megumi scolded, slapping his notebook over Itadori’s head.

You wore a small smirk on your face as you took a seat at your desk chair, leaning back onto it.

“That is for me to keep quiet about and for you to find out.”

“Cmon, at least give us a hint?” Itadori begged, his hands clasped together in front of him.

“No hints.”

The pink-haired boy sighed, sulking as he followed Nobara out the door. Megumi gave a knowing look to you and bowed. You shook your head, calling out to them as they left the classroom.

“Good luck with finding out who!”

The first-year trio sat under a nearby tree on the school’s green fields, eating away at some snacks they had spread out in front of them.

“I mean, it shouldn’t be too hard to find out who it is given that there’s not many that work at this place,” Nobara stated matter of factly, biting into her granola bar.

Itadori groaned, “True. Maybe we can ask Mr. Gojo when he comes back from his mission today.”

Nobara and Itadori looked at Megumi, watching him eat away at his apple as if waiting for something to come from him. Megumi gave a questioned look,

“What?”

“What’s your take on this, Fushiguro?”

“I’d rather not get into this.”

Nobara sneered, an irk mark could probably be seen on her forehead,

“Hey! You gotta help us out here, you emo-“

“What’s with all this yelling over here?”

A new voice interrupted, the first years turned their gaze over to see the second years, Maki, Inumaki, and Panda set their things down to take a spot with them.

“We’re going to find out who Mrs (Y/n) is married to,” Itadori explained.

Maki simply blinked, “Oh, she’s married?”

Panda chuckled, “You didn’t know? She has a ring on her left hand this entire time.”

“Salmon,” Inumaki agreed.

“Hm, guess I never noticed it then,” Maki shrugged, “Wish you guys luck then. Tell me who it is when you find out, I’m interested.”

Out of nowhere, Itadori sprang onto his feet, grabbing his bag and food off the grass in a little rush.

“What’s gotten into you, Itadori?”

An invisible lightbulb went off in the teen’s head as he ran off without saying anything to them, leaving Nobara and the others flabbergasted and confused. “Wait!”

Megumi shrugged, “Just let him go.”

Itadori sprinted through the hallways carefully making sure he wasn’t caught into trouble as he reached the staff lounge across the campus. Finally reaching the door of said room, he barged the door open,

“Nanamin!”

“Hm?” The blonde man looked away from the book he was reading, glancing over to Sukuna’s vessel who burst into the room with no warning.

Itadori stood by the chair Nanami sat in, bouncing off his feet impatiently,

“Do you have a ring on one of your hands by any chance?”

Nanami gave a firm no, setting his eyes back on his book, “Why are you asking me this, Yuji?”

Itadori looked at his shoes in disappointment, he really thought Nanami would be the culprit. Thinking deeper into it, he thought it would make sense. You, a lovely individual married to the gentlemanly and respectful Kento Nanami. It seemed like a perfect pairing, right? Guess he was wrong about that then.

“It’s nothing,” Itadori sighed. Nanami squinted at him suspiciously, putting his book down.

“It’s obviously something with the way you’re acting.”

The pink-haired teen scratched at the back of his head, “Okay, there is. My friends and I are trying to find out who Mrs (Y/n) is married to since we saw a ring on her finger today.”

“And you thought it would be me?”

“Yeah.”

The sorcerer cleared his throat, “(Y/n) and I only share a respectful, professional relationship. Nothing more.”

“Sorry for bothering you about this, Nanami.”

Itadori made his way out of the room, his head drooping down dramatically.

He later met up with the others back at your classroom, they returned with no luck as well after the end of lunch break. Nobara groaned,

“Well, now what? We’ve asked like every staff member we could find in this place. Even Shoko and Ijichi said no.”

“Told you we shouldn’t be getting into our teacher’s personal life,” Megumi tutted, everyone ignoring him though.

You sat behind your desk grading and writing over papers, letting out a quiet chuckle as you watched them become frustrated at the difficult quest they sent themselves on.

Panda placed a finger under his chin, “Hm, there is one person we haven’t asked yet.”

“Yo!”

As if on cue, the first and second years turned to see their blindfolded teacher peeking into the room from the door frame. Gojo strode in with his long legs leading him, a plastic bag probably filled with sweets that hung on his arm.

As Gojo placed the bag onto your desk in front of you, Itadori looked carefully at his teacher’s hands for any hints. Wait…

“Is that a ring?!”

Gojo shifted his attention to the young boy with confusion, “Huh?”

“You’re married to Mr. Gojo?!”

“You’re married to that idiot?!”

Both Itadori and Nobara’s voices synced, not in the same tone though.

You giggled, “You finally figured it out now. Took you guys long enough.”

“Figured what-ohh! Were you guys wondering who my lovely wife is married to? Well, it’s lil ol’ me, the most handsome and strongest sorcerer!” Gojo began to brag out of nowhere, leaving all the students’ groans and swears to fill the room.

“How can you be married to him?” Maki confronted, “He’s so…so loud.”

“And childish!”

“Also annoying!”

“Salmon!”

“He‘s too invasive as well,” Megumi added.

Gojo deflated at the teens’ insults about him, holding his hands to his heart dramatically as if it physically broke inside of him.

“C'mon you guys, I thought you loved me! And you Megumi, how could you betray me like this?!”

Megumi shook his head at his teacher’s whining.

Placing away the papers you finished grading, you made your way out of your seat and over to your husband.

“Look, you guys. Even though he may be…all those things you just listed, I still love him very much the way he is,” you assured the students as Gojo’s stance lightened up at hearing your words.

“Aw, I love you too, (Y/n)!” Gojo announced, pulling you against his body as he lifted your chin up towards him so he can lean in for a kiss on your lips.

“Eww!”

“Why would you do that in front of us?! Gross!”

You giggled during the kiss at the students’ disgust.

Finally breaking off the kiss, Gojo lifted his blindfold so one of his blue eyes peered down at you,

“Maybe we should tell Utahime the news that we’re married this whole time.”

“Let’s not give her a heart attack.”
