Work Text:

Sukuna and Yuuji had always been together. Since they both gained consciousness after coming into existence, hands gripping each other's tight, till they both gained their rankings in Heaven. They were never apart.

Even when Sukuna declined his rightful ascension to the Seraphim Rank like Yuuji and chose to become the leader of the Watchers instead, they both still found the time to be together.

Soul Bonded. That was what their big brothers called it. Micheal called it a Curse, not able to understand such a thing even though he was eons of years old; Lucifer called it a blessing, marvelled at his little brothers connection; and Gabriel was fascinated by it, wanting to know how it felt to be one with another.

Eons passed, and then the earth was created. As expected, Sukuna was stationed there to foresee its growth - being the Head of the Watchers. Their parent took great pride in creating this planet, even creating the mortals in the likeness of Angels (the lowest rank without wings) as the planet developed. The longer Sukuna stayed, the more other Watchers came to see the planet.

Yuuji couldn't, and wouldn't, understand why some of his siblings came to become obsessed with the human race. One moment Yuuji was laughing and encased in Sukuna's four arms and getting his ten wings groomed by the six winged Watcher, the next he was watching as his brothers and sisters fall out of Heaven due to a failed rebellion. Yuuji could do nothing but watch as Lucifer, Sukuna and so many of his favourite siblings were defeated and sent out of their home.

Yuuji silently cried as his other half lost his Heavenly Essence and became a Fallen. The two wings that sprouted from behind his head and covered his face hid Yuuji's anguish from the rest of his siblings.

Yuuji felt alone. He felt abandoned.

Not even Gabriel could lift up his spirits. Michael became colder and Yuuji felt like he had lost another brother. He couldn't go crying to their parent because it would make him look weak.

For eons, Yuuji watched as his brothers and sisters - twisted into something new - caused chaos and destruction in the universe. They even crossed into others, infesting newer universes. He searched for Sukuna, hoping to find his Soulmate, but nothing. As more eons passed, Yuuji began to lose all hope.

Until one day, he felt it. Sukuna's familiar Essence - tainted and dark. He was in another universe far from the original.

Yuuji resisted at first, contented with the knowledge that Sukuna was okay, that he was alive - but the call of his Soulmate became stronger as years passed. He could no longer help himself, so one day, he snuck out of Heaven - his entire being cloaked under a strong spell. He travelled to the universe his Soulmate inhabited, effortlessly tearing through space and time.

When the two saw each other, it was like a weight was lifted off their shoulders. It felt like they could finally breathe again after eons of being separated.

Sukuna's minions watched in shock and confusion as their usually cold and heartless King pulled the angelic being, that appeared through a rip in the air, into a tight hug after the two seemed to have a stare down. Their king was wrapped in six pure white wings as their owner buried their covered face into the four armed Curse's neck.

With the limited time on their hands, Yuuji learnt a lot about what happened to his brothers and sisters.

Sukuna and Lucifer were close since the beginning and Yuuji wasn't all that surprised to hear that he bought Lucifer's words. Sukuna was what one would call a perfectionist, so seeing the beings their parent was doting on annoyed him to no end. They were weak, they were inferior designs - yet their parent showed the humans such confusing and baffling favour.

Being a perfectionist, Sukuna saw it within his right and duty to impact a little... knowledge onto the mortals. Other Watchers saw this and followed in his footsteps. Thus began the age of knowledge of man. Michael had not been pleased. The First Seraphim almost burst a blood vessel when he discovered what his little brother had done. Lucifer on the other hand had been proud of Sukuna, the Second Seraphim praising him for his thoughtfulness. The Third Seraphim, Gabriel, had been worried about what their Creator would do, but when no punishment came, he and Yuuji heaved sighs of relief.

When the Rebellion came, Michael had been the one to fight Lucifer whilst Gabriel fought Sukuna. Yuuji could do nothing but watch as his brothers fought each other, the younger Seraphim having been commanded not to interfere.

Sukuna told him how his forceful descent from Heaven saw to him losing his angelic Essence. Gabriel had unknowingly killed him in their fight, but Lucifer had been there to help. He had buried Sukuna deep into a new universe still forming and Sukuna absorbed all the Essence that he needed from the raw, cosmic flow of creation. Being a Watcher, he also helped a little in its development.

For three years, which was honestly a mere blink of an eye for their kind, Yuuji stayed with Sukuna. He took on a human form after observing the planet and donned on long, white, free flowing robes with huge, long sleeves and designed with real gold materials. The white veil he wore flowed from his head to his shoulders, and no one could see his face nor eyes - just like his two face wings did in his Seraphim form. The Seraph wore no shoes and he hovered some few inches in the air - his robes hiding the fact that his feet weren't touching the ground.

Sukuna showed Yuuji the wonders of the world he had conquered. Yuuji had expected it to be in shambles and chaos, but ironically, it was in the age of peace and tranquility. Yuuji had never seen so many creatures in his life, having only had the Cherubs as pets. He fell quite in love with the dragons and unicorns.

Unfortunately, their time together came to a short end. Michael had discovered that Yuuji had left and the instrument Yuuji planted to inform him of such event warned him. Before he could fly away, Sukuna gently parted the lower area of his two wings and took hold of his lips in a soft and chaste kiss. Yuuji stared at him with shock through the small gaps in his feathers.

"A kiss goodbye. Just incase you don't come back." Sukuna said, giving his twin a sad smile. A smile that made Yuuji's chest constrict with a certain emotion. Sadness.

Yuuji gently cupped Sukuna's cheek, looking into those red eyes of his. "I'll be back. I promise."

Sukuna chuckled in doubt, yet he nodded in understanding. He got one last hug from Yuuji before the Seraph flew away with a loud boom - the sky ripping as he once again travelled through space and time.

When he got back, Michael had asked where he had gone to and Yuuji replied that he had gone sight seeing. He made sure to make his pout noticeable in his voice and made his grievances of having not been given the chance to explore for eons known, and his older brother let it go.

Every sixteen human years, Yuuji managed to sneak out of Heaven to see Sukuna. The highest years he managed to be with his Soulmate was eight years - and that was because Michael had been quiet busy. Of course, Yuuji knew his adventures would be found out sooner or later.

Thankfully, the first to find out about his secret was Gabriel. His third big brother had followed behind him, curious of where he had been running off to for years. When he saw Sukuna, he had not been amused and Yuuji had to stop the two from fighting - afraid that they'd destroy the planet if they kept going.

Yuuji scolded them, getting sheepish looks in return. He made them to form a truce, to their displeasure, but an angry Yuuji was a scary Yuuji - well, to Gabriel anyways. Sukuna found him hot and it took all his willpower not to grab Yuuji and fuck him against the nearest surface - hungry to ruin that angelic innocence of his.

Like the good big brother he was, Gabriel kept Yuuji's secret - even covering up for his baby brother when it called for it. He kept a close tab on Michael, who had been getting suspicious.

All good things must, unfortunately, come to an end. Michael discovered and he was apocalyptic. As the first of their parent's creation, and being the one in charge now that their parent was absent for the time being, Micheal had more power than them and over them. The only one who could challenge him was Lucifer. He locked his siblings in Heaven before making his way to the universe Sukuna resided in.

Yuuji absolutely refused to see Sukuna be killed once again and he desperately prayed to their absent parent. He thought that his request would be denied, but he and Gabriel got the shocks of their lives when their prayers were answered. Immediately the shields came down, the two hurried to Sukuna's universe and came upon on a shocking sight.

Micheal and Lucifer were going at it. Sukuna, who was lightly injured, was watching their exchange with an annoyed expression. Yuuji hurried to the still recuperating Fallen, ferting over him.

The world was on the brink of destruction as Micheal and Lucifer went at it without holding back. It took Yuuji crying and pleading for them to stop. Lucifer had immediately rushed over to his baby brother, worried that he might have unknowingly hurt him.

Yuuji begged them to stop, hating to see them fighting once again. Michael had softly told him to step aside so that he might end their brothers, but Yuuji refused.

"They're no longer kin, Yuuji." Michael softly said, his spear still in hand. "They're Fallen."

"And I do not care! Why can't you see that?! I. Do. Not. Care!" Yuuji yelled out, his energy coming out in thick, offensive waves. His ten wings were flailed up and his now visible tearful amber-gold eyes were burning bright with rage as he faced his elder brother. "They're still the same for me,  and they're family!"

"They're abominations, Yuuji!" Michael snapped out, his face twisted with rage. "They're pests just like these filthy humans and need to be era-"

Silence. A pregnant silence descended on the five of them at that outburst.

"You truly are a hypocrite, Michael." Lucifer softly said, giving his brother a bemused smile.

The older Seraph turned his head to the side, avoiding his brothers' gazes. The grip on his spear was tight.

"So what?! At least I didn't lead a rebellion that was bound to fail." Michael spat out, throwing a glare at Lucifer who scowled at that reminder.

"It seems... we need to talk." Yuuji said, a small smile on his lips as he stared at his older brother in understanding.

Turned out that Michael loathed the human race in every universe. After a day long of conversation filled with yells, small attacks and, surprisingly, cussing, they came to learn that Michael had a strong... dislike for most of their parent's creations. He wanted nothing more than to clean the universe of their filth, but he was loyal to their parent.

After two days, Yuuji finally succeeded in making his two older brothers to come to a truce, and within twenty human years, he made the three of them to reconcile their differences - begrudgingly.

Having gotten permission from their parent, Yuuji decided to leave Heaven and be with Sukuna. This meant that he wouldn't Fall and would retain his angelic powers. Michael was sad to see him go, believing that it was his fault that Yuuji was leaving. Yuuji stomped on that thought, telling Michael that he just wanted to be with Sukuna fully.

The two travelled from universe to universe, having the time of their lives and falling deeper in love.

Eons later saw Yuuji, now Ryoumen-Itadori Yuuji, and Sukuna, now Ryoumen Sukuna, can be seen taking a walk in the park. Accompanying them was Lucifer, aka Gojo Satoru - who had a small bag containing kikufuku in hand and was snacking on them as he chatted loudly with Yuuji and frankly annoying Sukuna with his gritty voice.

Both Satoru and Sukuna were CEOs of huge business empires, and were popular too. But not as much as Yuuji, who was a popular popstar/actor and was part of a three man group with his high-school friends, Zen'in Megumi and Kugisaki Nobara.

The three under cloaking spells came to a stop when they came face to face with two unfamiliar faces bearing familiar Essences.

"Michael! Gabriel!" Yuuji shouted in shock and happiness, letting go of Sukuna's hand and running over his big brothers. He jumped at them when he got close, wrapping an arm each around their necks.

"Hello, Little Cherub." Gabriel greeted with a warm smile, getting a giggle out of Yuuji at the use of his nickname.

"Hello, Yuu." Michael greeted as well, a small smile on his lips.

Yuuji let go of them and moved back a little. "What are you two doing here?! Is home on fire?!"

"Home is fine, Little One." Micheal chuckled, ruffling Yuuji's pink hair. "We came to see you. We missed you."

"Really?" Yuuji gave them a sly smirk. "You sure it's only me you came to see?"

"Yes." The two visiting Seraphs said as one, drawing a cute pout from Yuuji.

"Stop pouting. It's unbecoming of you." Gabriel gently flicked his forehead, getting a cute noise of conplain from the youngest Seraphim who brought out his tongue in a cheeky manner.

"Look who decided to drop in~"

Michael and Gabriel took their eyes off Yuuji and masks of indifference took over their expressions.

"Lucifer." Michael toned indifferently.

"Michael." Lucifer returned.

"Gabriel."  Sukuna grunted out.

"Sukuna." Gabriel nodded.

"Sukuna." Michael nodded at the other pink haired Seraph.

"Michael." Sukuna grunted again.

"Lucifer." Gabriel coldly greeted.

"Gabriel." Lucifer greeted with a grin.

"Yuuji!" The small Seraph added, his hand up in the air.

The four older Seraph stared at him for some few seconds before they all either snorted or chuckled in amusement.

"What?" Yuuji blinked cutely. "What did I say?"

Gabriel patted his head. "Never change, Little One. Never change."

With Yuuji in their midst, the five slowly made their way to a restaurant nearby.

"Oh! By the way, I go by Gojo Satoru now~" Satoru said in that cheerful voice of him. "Biggie over there goes by Ryoumen Sukuna and Yuu-chan Ryoumen-Itadori Yuuji~"

Michael scoffed. "Only you would choose a lame name such as that."

Satoru sputtered. "Like you can do better!"

Michael gave him a smug smirk. "I can, and I did. Geto Suguru."

"Nice~"

"Oi, Yuuji! Whose side are you on?!" Satoru all but whined as he pouted at Yuuji who grinned cheekily at him.

"Nanami Kento." Gabriel said in an indifferent tone, adjusting his glasses. "I take it you two are Bonded in the human way?"

Yuuji nodded with a happy noise and a bright smile. He reached for Sukuna's left hand and raised it along with his showing off the unearthly rings. "Our one millionth year anniversary is coming up soon! I can't wait for you two to experience the human festivities!"

Suguru grunted and Kento just hummed, both giving the bubbly Seraph soth looks.

The family of five continue chatting away happily as they headed to the restaurant.
