two am.
two women, out on the balcony. stars in the night sky.
“aren’t they magnificent?”
one starts a conversation, hoping that it will last.
but the other one only hums in response.
“unnie.”
“mhm?”
“yongsun unnie.”
the brunette, yongsun, turns her head to look at the women beside her, eyes curious.
“what is it, byul-ah?”
byul isn’t looking at yongsun.
“you know,” she starts,
“i have been thinking.”
yongsun takes her gaze off byul, smiling ever so softly.
“you’re always thinking. that head of yours is tired, i’m sure.”
byul let out a small laugh, eyes not leaving the sky.
“that is true.”
yongsun looks at the blonde again at that, eyebrows raising.
byul still isn’t looking at her, though.
yongsun smiles again.
“so, are you going to share that thought with me?” she asks carefully.
byul turns to look at yongsun this time, a small smile breaking on her face.
“yeah.”
yongsun leans closer to the other women, curiosity increasing.
“okay.” she answers.
byul leans closer as well, and carefully whispers on yongsun’s ear.
“you’re way more magnificent than anything.”

three am.
two women outside, side-by-side on a cold balcony.
one rests her head on the other’s shoulder, sighing softly.
“i love you, byul-ah.”
the other one, close to falling asleep, answers softly.
“..i love you too, yong.”
